After a brief review of the characteristics of telescopic optometers in general, a calibrated chart of a specific commercial telescopic optometer is presented in this study. The use of such a device in determining the refractive error of a low-vision patient is described.  相似文献

The importance of obtaining correct filter settings for the instrument with each patient is investigated in a study of 450 patients, covering the age range encountered in practice. The need for a correct procedure and proper training of any ancillary personnel is emphasized. Ten case histories are presented to illustrate the usefulness and limitations of the instrument. Current views of the relevance of field plotting in glaucoma are discussed. Comparisons between the Friedmann and other instruments are reviewed and a list is given of conditions in which the visual field should be plotted.  相似文献

The Pocklington (Keeler-Konan) wide field specular microscope has been in use for 18 months at the Corneal Diseases Unit, The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, Melbourne.
In this study, the microscope has been applied clinically to assess the state of the corneal endothelium and to evaluate comparative endothelial cell density and morphology in certain anterior segment microsurgical procedures. The clinical conditions studied are primary posterior chamber intraocular tens implantatbn, secondary intraocular lens implantation, intraocular lens exchange, and penetrating keratoplasty.  相似文献

目的:了解各种黄斑病患者色觉改变的特点。 方法:应用Panel D-15试验和FM100-hue试验对各种黄斑病变患者进行检查,分析其色觉改变的类型及颜色辨别力与视力的关系。 结果:所以老年黄斑变性湿性型、Stargardt病、黄斑裂孔和中心性渗出性视网膜脉络膜病变患眼皆出现色觉异常,平均总错误分方根均值较高,视网膜前膜眼和老年黄斑变性型眼的色觉异常率和平均总错误分方根均值较低。FM 100-hue试验总错误分方根值与视力呈负相关(r=-0.8944)。 结论:不同的黄斑病变产生的色觉异常类型和严重性不同,颜色辨别力和视力呈负相关关系。 (中华眼底病杂志,1996,12:80-82)  相似文献
