Mandibular osteomyelitis caused by Actinomyces Israelii. Report of a case

An unusual case of cervicofacial actinomycosis with cortical osteomyelitis of the ascending ramus is presented. The portal of entry of the infection was most probably by an extra oral route. The authors have emphasized the importance of repeated smear examinations, cultures, and sensitivity tests to rule out actinomycosis in such cervicofacial infections. The difficulties encountered in the isolation of A. Israelii are discussed.     

Fever of unknown origin caused by dental infection. Report of a case

There are indications that dental infections may be causally related to a wide spectrum of systemic and local disorders. We present a case report of a fever that lasted more than 50 days and discuss the pathogenesis of associated dental infections.     

福辛普利钠致单侧舌血管性水肿1例

抗高血压病药物血管紧张素转换酶抑制剂（angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor，ACEI）引起单侧舌肿夫非常罕见，少有报道。作者住夜班急诊时接诊1例，现报道如下。     

Calcific bridging of dental pulp caused by iatrogenic hypercalcemia. Report of a case

A case of renal osteodystrophy treated with high doses of vitamin D is presented. The treatment, carried out when the patient was between 3 1/4 and 6 years of age, induced hypercalcemia (up to 13.9 mg./dl.) which resulted in dentinal bridging corresponding chronologically to the part of the root developing at this age. Dentinal bridging associated with iatrogenic hypercalcemia has not been reported previously.     

Chronic osteomyelitis of mandible caused by penicillin-resistant Bacteroides ruminicola. Report of a case

Osteomyelitis of the jaws caused by a Bacteroides species is uncommon. A case of osteomyelitis of the mandible caused by penicillin-resistant Bacteroides ruminicola is reported. The diagnosis was confirmed by isolation of the organism and bone scan (99mTc medronate disodium) of the mandible. Clindamycin and hyperbaric oxygen therapy resolved the infection.     

纹唇引发唇结核1例报告

报告1例纹唇引发的唇结核病例,分析其临床表现、发病原因、处理方法,为类似病例的预防、诊断和治疗提供参考。     

拔牙诱发唇血管神经性水肿1例

血管神经性水肿为一种过敏性疾病。其发病机制属I型变态反应。过敏原可能为特定的食物、药物、肠道寄生虫、感染因子等。此外，外伤、情绪激动、寒冷等可能诱发本病^[1]。我科收治1例患儿乳牙拔除后出现唇血管神经性水肿，现报告如下。     

Dyract复合体致上唇血管性水肿一例

Ｄｙｒａｃｔ复合体是继玻璃离子和光固化复合树脂之后又一代的新型复合充填材料 ,目前临床上未见有发生变态反应的报道 ,我科于 1999年 12月 2 8日上午遇到 1例 ,现报道如下。患者男性 ,5 5岁。因上前牙外伤性部分冠折 1月余 ,影响美观 ,到我科就诊 ,要求作美容修复。口腔专科检查 :面部对称 ,1| 1近中切角缺损 ,总范围约 0 .3ｃｍ直径大小 ,探诊敏感 ,未穿髓 ,牙髓活力正常 ,叩痛阴性 ,相应的上唇粘膜未见异常。遂常规选用Ｄｙｒａｃｔ复合体Ａ2色 (ＤｅｎｔｓｐｌｙＣｏ .)加螺纹钉修复1| 1缺损区 ,效果满意。 3ｄ后该患复诊 ,自述修复后…
