The purpose of this study was to examine relationships between role attitudes and values of nurse practitioners and their level of confidence about practice knowledge and skills. The stratified random sample comprised 482 nurse practitioners representing the specialty areas of certified nurse practitioners. Findings indicate a relationship between level of confidence and role orientation. The sample also rated themselves as more confident about hands-on skills than about indirect role components such as utilization of research, change theory, and evaluation of practice outcomes.  相似文献

This issue of our journal contains the inaugural column of a new feature. When the Editorial Board of the journal met in St. Louis at NANDA's 25th year anniversary celebration, we discussed strategies to further spread the word that nursing diagnosis is alive, well, and at work daily in clinical settings. The idea for this column was born, and it will appear regularly from now on. I can think of no better beginning than the one Dr. Judy Carlson-Catalano has given us. Dr. Catalano not only uses nursing diagnosis in her private nursing practice; she uses nursing diagnosis to advertise her work. 目的探讨核心能力教学模式在培养老年专科护士高级护理实践能力中的应用效果。方法以核心能力教学模式为培训框架,参考美国护理学院协会提出的高级实践护士核心能力和美国护理学家Hamric的高级护理实践模式,界定老年专科护士高级护理实践能力,并以此为导向设置培训课程,对49名护士进行培训,以自评得分及他评得分评价培训效果和满意度。结果培训前后,49名学员的7项高级护理实践能力自评总分分别为(89.18±15.73)分、(113.78±22.22)分,差异有统计学意义(t=7.10,P0.01);他评结果:学员护理个案得分(70.29±3.78)分,成组计划得分(73.46±2.60)分,全部学员圆满完成了老年专科护士的专业课程与临床实践,获得由香港老年专科护理学院和广东省护理教育中心联合颁发的"广东省老年专科护士课程培训合格证书"。95%的学员表示非常满意本课程的设置,认为课程设置科学、严谨、全面、实用且与国际老年护理接轨,有利于专科护士能力的发展。结论以核心能力教学模式为培训框架,高级护理实践能力为培养目标,以此设计的老年专科护士高级护理实践能力培养模式,可以达到预期目的。能实施基于科学的精细护理的老年专科护士是时代和现实的迫切需要;本探讨可为日后其他专科的护理人才在职培训提供借鉴。  相似文献

Nurse practitioners (NPs), frequently called upon by graduate schools of nursing to be preceptors for NP students, are asked to play an active role in the socialization of these students as capable primary care providers. Much is expected of the preceptor in the typical short-term clinical preceptorship with little guidance available to her or him. A mentoring model of clinical education, while representing a longer-term commitment for preceptors than usual precepting arrangements, may ultimately be a more effective model for student learning and more satisfying for the preceptor than currently practiced models. Eastern philosophical principles, very much in harmony with valued nursing approaches to relationships, can provide a framework for examining mentoring as a strategy for promotion of self-efficacy for advanced practice that can be of benefit to both the NP preceptor and the NP neophyte.  相似文献

Administrative leadership inspires, encourages innovation, assists staff to grow and promotes and facilitates excellent nursing. Although one might argue that these activities are administrative, data collected in research at the University of Michigan suggest that they have a strong educational tone. Analysis of the data resulting from in-depth interviews in practice and education indicates that the role of the executive is on a trajectory of intrapersonal integration of the professional components of practice. The education component is vital to integrating the role and is the linchpin in linking the components of professional practice.  相似文献

目的 探讨以研究性学习为基础的《护理科研设计》教学改革效果.方法 2006年起在2003级114名护理本科生的《护理科研设计》教学中改革教学方法,以科学研究的基本步骤为主线设置授课进度,各研究小组在教师的指导下同步实施专题研究.课后进行成绩分析,将2003级期末考试成绩与按传统方法教学的2002级学生期末考试成绩进行对比分析.同时采用教师评价与学生自评相结合的方法对以研究性学习为基础的《护理科研设计》教学改革效果以研究小组为评价单位进行评价.结果 2002级学生成绩为(83.6±7.3)分,2003级学生的成绩为(92.0±6.7)分,经t检验,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05),改革后的学生期末考试成绩明显高于未进行课程改革的2002级学生.对2003级学生研究性学习实验成绩,教师评价优良率为94%,学生自我评价优良率为94%.结论 基于研究性学习的《护理科研设计》课程教学改革,在完成课程教学目标的基础上,提高了教学质量,可创造性地发展学生的科研能力.  相似文献

目的 探讨以联络护士为主导开展临床专科护理实践的办法.方法 选派护理骨干作为联络护士参与到医院8个专科护理小组,积极创造条件引导其在科内开展专科护理临床实践,同时建立专科护理交流平台,促进各专科护理在科内的横向交流.结果 联络护七的实践能力、工作主动性以及科室护士专科知识总体水平得到提高,患者安全事件发生率下降.结论 联络护士在临床专科护理实践中推动了新的护理理念与方法在临床的应用,解决了临床护理问题,促进了护理组整体水平的提高.  相似文献
