The author reports his experiences on 422 patients suffering from congelations and the therapy practised. 530 animal experiments (rats, dogs, rabbits) were performed to investigate the sequelae of frost injuries concerning circulation, tissue temperature, toxaemia, shock and their treatment.  相似文献

The article shows that treatment of frostbites in a special medium with controlled temperature and humidity makes the time of treatment shorter and prevents complications characteristic of such a trauma. The main purpose of such exposures of the injured areas is to achieve mummification and to make the operation as early as possible. The mummification of the soft tissues began within 5-8 days after trauma. Chemical necrectomy was possible on the 7th-9th days, followed by autodermoplasty on the 2nd day.  相似文献

Lipoblastoma is a rare childhood tumor composed of embryonic fat. It is benign and most often presents in children younger than 3 years. These tumors primarily present as a rapidly enlarging mass in the extremities or trunk with abdominal lipoblastomas comprising less than 10% of all reported cases. Abdominal lipoblastomas are most commonly found in the retroperitoneum with less than 15 reported cases arising in the mesentery. We report the unusual presentation of a lipoblastoma arising in the mesentery of a 3-year-old boy.  相似文献

We report a case of desmoplastic fibroma occurring in the 2nd toe. This lesion most frequently occurs in the long bones or the mandible. This is only the second reported case of desmoplastic fibroma in a toe in the English language. The importance and process of establishing a differential diagnosis in such lesions is highlighted. The similarity between the clinical and histological findings of this tumour and other tumours, both benign and malignant, makes familiarity with the character of desmoplastic fibroma essential for proper treatment.  相似文献

The article presents experimental and clinical data on changes of homeostasis in frostbites. It is shown that the zone of injured tissues can be lessened by acting the mechanism of neurohumoral regulation with rausedyl, heparin and fibrinolysin.  相似文献

Thoracic paragangliomas are a rare cause of hypertension. We report the occurrence of a sporadic benign norepinephrine-producing branchiomeric paraganglioma in a 32-year-old man with paroxysms of hypertension. After localization by iodine 123-metaiodobenzyl-guanidine scintigraphy and magnetic resonance imaging, the paraganglioma was resected successfully below the right pulmonary artery through a right-sided posterolateral thoracotomy. The particular location was consistent with a branchiomeric paraganglioma in an extremely rare extrapulmonary location.  相似文献

Keloid is an abnormal wound response in predisposed individuals. It results from a connective tissue response to trauma and occasionally occurs spontaneously. It is one of the most challenging clinical problems, especially in plastic surgery practice. Keloid formation mainly occurs in parts of the body with high concentrations of melanocytes and is rare on the soles of the feet and palms of the hands where melanocyte concentration is minimal. Although keloid formation on the palmar surface is rare, there are a few cases reported in the literature. In this paper, keloid formation on the volar surfaces of the fingers is reported. Although it is rare, there is a potential morbidity of keloid formation on the volar surface of fingers. The most important point concerning keloid formation is prevention.  相似文献

We report an extensive lipoma of the left index digit in a 75-year-old woman. This location is very rare. A review of the literature revealed only two prior cases of digital lipoma occurring distal to the proximal interphalangeal joint. Surgical removal of the tumor was performed without any problems, and there has been no recurrence after 18 months.  相似文献
