《海蒂性学报告》读后感

《海蒂性学报告》是美国著名性学专家、女权主义者雪儿·海蒂通过问卷调查编辑而成,其内容包括《女人篇》、《男人篇》和《情爱篇》三部分。洋洋180余万字,全球销售已逾3500万册。其中文出版日期是2002年9月,由海南出版社出版。笔者所读即为此版本。“食、色、性也。”“性”是人的本能之一。有关这方面的书刊资讯,古今中外多如牛毛,为何此套报告却仍能如此畅销呢?纵观整套报告,并没有证明什么终极真理,没有提出什么绝世发现,没有揭示什么重要哲理。但是,海蒂从1976年开始,历经了近二十年的时间,《男人篇》调查了7000多名从13~97岁的男性,《…     

T淋巴细胞亚群失衡与SLE中医辨证分型的关系

目的观察不同中医证型SLE患者外周血CD4~+T,CD8~+T,CD8~+CD28~+T,CD8~+CD28~-T,CD3~+CD4~+IFN-r~+T和CD3~+CD4~+IL-4~+T细胞百分率。方法 SLE患者中医辨证分为气血两燔型、肝热血瘀型、气阴两虚血瘀型和脾肾阳虚型4型,流式细胞技术检测外周静脉血中CD4~+T,CD8~+T,CD8~+CD28~+T,CD8~+CD28~-T,CD3~+CD4~+IFN-r~+T和CD3~+CD4~+IL-4~+T细胞百分率,并与正常组比较。结果不同证型SLE患者外周血CD4~+T表达均下降(P均<0.01),气阴两虚血瘀型CD8~+CD28~+T表达降低、CD8~+CD28~+T/CD8~+CD28~-T比值降低、CD8~+CD28~-T表达升高,脾肾阳虚型CD3~+CD4~+IFN-r~+T表达显著高于其他各组,其CD3~+CD4~+IL-4~+T表达也显著高于正常组及气血两燔型(P均<0.05)。结论 SLE患者存在T淋巴细胞数量及功能失衡,中医辨证分型与微观指标有一定的关系。     

The pathogenesis of acne

Acne vulgaris is a multifactorial disease of as yet incompletely elucidated etiology and pathogenesis. The following have been identified as the most significant factors: follicular hyperkeratosis, increased sebum secretion, Propionibacterium (P.) acnes, and inflammation. Increased sebum production and follicular hyperkeratosis result in the development of microcomedones, and changes in follicular milieu in intensive growth of P. acnes. P. acnes secretes several proinflammatory products, which play an important role in the development of inflammation. These include lipases, proteases, hyaluronidases, and chemotactic factors. Immune response to P. acnes includes humoral and cell-mediated immunity as well as complement activation. Recent results indicate that keratinocytes and sebocytes, as major components of pilosebaceous unit, may act as immune cells and may be activated by P. acnes via toll-like receptors (TLRs) and CD14, and through CD1 molecules may recognize altered lipid content in sebum, followed by the production of inflammatory cytokines.     

The Management of Pyodermas

With the rising cost of medical services, it was decided to reassess the relevance of routine bacteriology investigations to the management of the individual patient with pyoderma. In both prospective and retrospective studies, it was found that laboratory reports were simply confirmatory and did not contribute to the management of the individual patient. A call is made for physicians to continuously look for cheaper ways of managing patients without necessarily causing any disservice to the patient.     

The terminology of neurodermatitis

The authors consider it desirable that the following forms of this condition be singled out as a nosologic entity: (1) atopic neurodermatitis, a hereditary disease with characteristic immunologic shifts; (2) chronic diffuse neurodermatitis of adults, a disease developed by subjects without atopic anamnesis, characterized by a torpid course; remissions and exacerbations are not season-associated; (3) chronic local neurodermatitis, a disease with a typical morphology in foci of involvement, with prolonged remissions following intensive local therapy.     

The sign of Leser-Trelat

Four cases of Leser-Trelat sign were studied in detail clinically and were investigated to establish their association with internal malignancy. One of them had papillary carcinoma of thyroid and the second had carcinoma of the body of pancreas. USG revealed mass in the gall bladder in the third case. He was lost before completion of other investigations. The fourth case was normal. So patients with Leser-Trclat sign must be carefully investigated in detail.
