目的 观祭不同药物治疗对类风湿关节炎患者血清中铜、硒、锌水平的影响.方法 35例门诊健康成人(对照组)及120例类风湿关节炎(RA)患者(RA组)被纳入研究,根据药物治疗将患者分为水杨酰偶氮磺胺吡啶组(n=21)、糖皮质激素组(n=20)、甲氨蝶呤组(n=22)、非甾体抗炎药组(n=29)和氯喹组(n=28).经过30 d的药物治疗后部分患者被随访.结果 RA患者血清中锌、硒水平低于正常对照组,血清中铜高于对照组,差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05).与治疗前相比,除甲氨蝶呤组显示出更高的血清中锌水平以外(P<0.05),其余各治疗组在血清中铜、硒、锌水平上未发生显著改变(P>0.05).结论 血清中铜、锌、硒的改变可能与免疫防御及炎症状态相关,药物可能通过影响免疫或炎症从而改变铜、锌、硒水平.  相似文献

目的:研究微量元素铜、铁、锌硒在脓毒症疾病过程中的变化,探讨这些变化与疾病的严重度和预后的关系。 方法:选择30例脓毒症病人作为治疗组,另选30例健康人作为对照组。在脓毒症病人发病的第1、4、7、14天测定血清铜、铁、锌、硒水平,同时评估脓毒症病人的APACHEⅡ评分。血清铜、铁、锌的检测采用原子吸收光谱火焰法,血清硒的检测采用原子吸收光谱氢化物发生法。 结果:①脓毒症病人血清铜水平明显升高,存活  相似文献

北京周口店地区环境硒含量及居民血清硒水平分析   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
目的调查北京周口店地区环境硒含量及居民血清硒水平,并探讨血清硒水平与健康状况的关系。方法采用整群抽样的方法从北京周口店地区选取401名研究对象,进行问卷调查、体格体检和常规血生化测定。从该地区采集土壤、饮用水和粮食样本,采用气相色谱法对样本中的硒含量进行测定。应用 SPSS11.5软件对数据进行分析。结果土壤、饮用水、大米和面粉的硒含量分别为:(0.210±0.013)μg/g,(0.017±0.002)μg/L,(0.034±0.002)μg/g 和(0.034±0.012)μg/g。人群血清硒含量为(75.01±28.35)μg/L。血清硒水平与体质指数、总胆固醇水平呈正相关(β=0.137,P=0.011;β=0.785,P=0.000);与收缩压、甘油三酯、高密度脂蛋白胆固醇和低密度脂蛋白胆固醇水平呈负相关(β=-0.172,P=0.023;β=-0.170,P=0.007;β=-0.121,P=0.027;β=-0.568,P=0.027)。结论北京周口店地区环境呈低硒状态,当地居民普遍存在缺硒问题,血清硒水平与体质指数、收缩压、总胆固醇、甘油三酯、高密度脂蛋白胆固醇和低密度脂蛋白胆固醇水平等有关。  相似文献

The distribution of the serum levels of selenium, zinc, and copper in human pregnancy at various gestational ages were determined from two ethnically and geographically different populations (Rosebud Indian Reservation and southeastern South Dakota) of 410 normal subjects. As gestation age increased, there was a significant increase and a slight decrease in the mean levels of copper and zinc, respectively. No change in the levels of selenium was observed. Significantly higher levels of both pregnancy and non-pregnancy serum copper were observed in the Rosebud population compared to that in southeastern South Dakota, possibly due to the significantly higher level of copper in the Rosebud water. No differences were observed in the zinc or selenium levels between the two populations. Serial measurements of these trace metals during the third trimester of pregnancy were performed on 18 subjects, and supported the trends described for copper and selenium. No decrease in zinc was observed in the individual subjects.  相似文献

Low selenium status draws much attention because of the possible involvement in the etiology of cardiovascular disease (CVD). Hyperlipidmia or dyslipidemia, a very important risk factor for CVD, occurs frequently in middle-aged Koreans. While selenium deficiency is supposed to aggravate blood lipid profiles, it has been shown that selenium status diminishes with advanced age. However, little is known about the selenium status of Koreans, its age-related change, and its relationship to blood lipid levels. In this study the serum selenium level of females according to age and its association with blood lipid profiles were examined. Serum selenium concentration was determined by the instrumental neutron activation analysis method (INAA) using the HANARO research reactor. The overall proportion of women having selenium deficiency, with less than 80.0 microg/L of the selenium concentrations in the serum, was 18.3%. The serum selenium levels in the young-adult. middle-aged and elderly groups were 120.6 microg/L, 97.2 microg/L, and 90.8 microg/L, respectively. Biochemical indices derived from serum selenium levels showed that subjects with the lowest tertile of selenium concentration had significantly higher atherogenic index and lower HDL-cholesterol levels compared to those with the highest tertile. However, only the serum HDL-cholesterol level showed the dependency on the selenium status as determined by step-wise analysis in the subjects below the age of 40. It was noted that in the subjects over the age of 40 (pooled middle-aged and elderly), any dependency of serum lipid profiles on the selenium status was not observed. The results of this study indicated that there is a decreasing tendency of selenium levels with age and that selenium status is associated with blood lipid levels only in young-adult females.  相似文献

目的分析支原体肺炎患儿血清硒(Se)、一氧化氮(NO)水平与病情严重程度的关系。方法选择84例支原体肺炎患儿,其中急性期组48例,恢复期组36例,对照组40例健康儿童,检测3组血清Se、NO水平,同时测定免疫球蛋白Ig G、Ig A、Ig M含量的变化,采用《临床肺部感染评分表》对患儿病情严重程度进行评估,分析支原体肺炎患儿血清Se、NO水平、免疫球蛋白水平与病情严重程度的关系。结果 1对照组血Se水平高于恢复期组与急性期组(P0.05),恢复期组血Se水平高于急性期组(P0.05),对照组血NO水平低于恢复期组与急性期组(P0.05),恢复期组NO水平低于急性期组(P0.05);2对照组Ig G水平高于恢复期组与急性期组(P0.05),其Ig M水平低于恢复期组与急性期组(P0.05),恢复期组Ig M水平低于急性期组(P0.05);3急性期重症组血Se水平低于轻症组,NO水平高于轻症者(P0.05);急性期重症组Ig M水平高于轻症组(P0.05),其Ig A、Ig G水平对比差异无统计学意义(P0.05);4支原体肺炎病情严重程度与血Se水平呈负相关,与血NO呈正相关,与Ig M呈正相关。结论补充适量Se,阻断NO、Ig M过量分泌,可改善支原体肺炎患儿病情,对提升临床治疗效果有一定的促进作用。  相似文献

Immunoglobulin levels were measured by agar gel single radial immunodiffusion in the serum and cervical mucus of 50 tailed copper IUD users, 20 combined oral contraceptive users and 20 women not using contraception (controls). IgG, IgA and IgM levels were significantly higher in the copper IUD users compared to the other two groups. It is not known whether this was related to the small numbers of bacteria found in the uterine cavity of tailed IUD users or to the foreign body reaction of the device.  相似文献

Serum selenium as well as serum zinc, copper, magnesium, calcium and manganese were investigated in a control group of adult males and in 11 groups of patients in various disease states. Not only the change of each trace element but also the possible association between elements was studied in the various groups. All patients were fasting when sampled and studied only after the acute phase of the disease was corrected. Trace metal determinations were performed by atomic absorption spectrophometry (Mg, Ca, Cu, Zn) and by neutron activation analysis (Se, Mn). All patients showed low serum zinc when compared to controls. Cirrhotic patients had a low serum selenium level as well as low calcium, magnesium and zinc. Emphysemia and cancer patients had an elevated serum copper concentration while copper and manganese levels were elevated in congestive heart failure, infection and pschoses. To our knowledge this is the first time low serum selenium values have been demonstrated to be associated with the low serum zinc, calcium and magnesium levels found in cirrhotic patients.  相似文献

目的:检测妊娠糖尿病(GDM)患者血清中微量元素硒、锌、铜、钙的含量,探讨其与GDM的关系。方法:采用原子分光光度计分别检测78例GDM孕妇和72例正常孕妇血清中硒、锌、铜和钙的含量。结果:GDM组孕妇血清中微量元素硒、锌及钙的含量明显低于正常对照组(P<0.000 1);而铜的含量,GDM组却显著高于正常对照组(P<0.000 1)。结论:微量元素硒、锌、铜、钙在GDM的发生和发展过程中具有重要的作用。GDM组孕妇体内存在微量元素的代谢紊乱,应加强孕妇的饮食指导,适时补充硒、锌、钙等。  相似文献

Many institutions reduce or eliminate copper (Cu) and manganese (Mn) in parenteral nutrition (PN) solutions when cholestasis develops. Little data exist to support this practice. Fifty-four subjects with known serum Cu, whole-blood Mn, and serum-conjugated bilirubin levels were evaluated in this prospective, observational study. Subjects ranged in weight from 760 g to 65.2 kg. Subjects weighing <25 kg received a daily parenteral dose of 20 microg/kg Cu and 5 microg/kg Mn. Subjects weighing > or =25 kg received a dose of 500 microg/d Cu and 150 microg/d Mn. Cholestasis was defined as a conjugated bilirubin level > or =2 mg/dL. Of the 54 subjects, 20 had cholestasis. Fifteen patients had elevated Cu levels, and 21 had high Mn levels. Seven of the subjects had both high Cu and high Mn levels. The regression model comparing cholestasis as a predictor of high, low, or normal Cu level was not significant (P = .9588). Cholestasis was not a significant predictor of high, low, or normal Mn levels (P = .6533). No correlation between Cu and Mn levels was found. The authors found no significant relationship between conjugated serum bilirubin levels > or =2.0 mg/dL, serum Cu, and whole-blood Mn levels. They found insufficient evidence to support the practice of dosing Mn from a Cu level or vice versa. They recommend obtaining Cu and Mn levels on all pediatric patients who develop cholestasis prior to adjusting parenteral doses and at regular intervals for all long-term PN patients.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: Increased dietary intake of antioxidants has been associated with higher lung function, but few studies have used biological markers of antioxidant intake. OBJECTIVE: This study aimed to determine if antioxidant status, as measured by blood levels, influences lung function. DESIGN: Using a random subsample of 479 participants, aged 18-65 y old, from a larger cross-sectional observational study, the association of forced expiratory volume in 1 s (FEV1) with plasma copper, vitamin C, vitamin E and serum selenium was assessed. RESULTS: An s.d. increase in blood copper level was associated with a difference in FEV1 of -48 ml (95% confidence intervals: -95, -2 ml, P = 0.04), vitamin C +49 ml (+4, +94, P = 0.03), vitamin E -15 ml (-62, +32, P = 0.53) and selenium +52 ml (+7, +96, P = 0.02). The sizes of association were not appreciably altered in a mutually adjusted model. CONCLUSIONS: Higher levels of serum vitamin C and selenium appear to be associated with higher FEV1. The association between higher serum copper and lower FEV1 requires further study in view of the ubiquitous exposure to this mineral.  相似文献

Selenium (Se) was measured in 300 umbilical cord blood samples collected from healthy pregnant women who live in Al-Kharj area in Saudi Arabia by means of Inductively Coupled Plasma Spectrometry with the hydride t-system. The selenium concentration found in the serum of 300 newborns was 40.847 ± 8.969 μpg/L. Preterm infants had significantly lower serum selenium concentrations than full-term infants (32 ± 8.029 μg/L versus 41.323 ± 8.784 μg/L). Significant positive correlations were found between selenium levels and birth weight. Results of this study suggest that low selenium levels of new-borns in Al-Kharj may reflect an inadequate maternal dietary intake.  相似文献

Serum superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity concentrations, though small compared to tissue levels, could contribute to extracellular superoxide radical detoxification and act as indicators of copper status. The present study identified the response of rat serum SOD activity contents to marginal and deficient copper intakes and to inflammation. Rats fed copper-deficient diet (less than 0.2 mg/kg Cu) for 5 wk displayed serum SOD activity contents that were only about 20% of those found in rats fed copper-supplemented diet (6.0 mg/kg Cu). Activities in rats fed a marginal diet (1.5 mg/kg Cu) were about 55% of those in the adequate rats. Turpentine-induced inflammation lowered serum SOD in rats within each dietary group. However, the change in the marginal group was not statistically significant. Based on chromatographic characterizations and inhibitor studies, rat serum SOD activity seemed to result primarily from a copper protein other than ceruloplasmin, Cu-Zn SOD or the recently discovered tissue extracellular SOD. In conclusion, low copper intake and inflammation may compromise extracellular defenses against superoxide. In addition, serum SOD activities could provide a non-ceruloplasmin-related means of assessing copper status, but nondietary variables can also affect these SOD values.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: Selenium, an essential micronutrient, has received considerable attention for its antioxidant properties. In addition, selenium may affect several cardiometabolic risk factors, such as glucose homeostasis and lipid concentrations. However, the effects of selenium intake on the lipid profile in selenium-replete populations, such as the United States, are largely unknown. OBJECTIVE: We examined the relation of serum selenium concentrations with serum lipids in a representative sample of US adults. DESIGN: This was a cross-sectional analysis of 5452 men and women aged >/= 20 y participating in the third National Health and Nutrition Examination survey. Serum selenium was measured by atomic absorption spectrometry. RESULTS: The multivariable adjusted differences in total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, apolipoprotein B (apo B), and apolipoprotein A-I (apo A-I) comparing the highest with the lowest quartile of serum selenium were 16.6 mg/dL (95% CI: 11.6, 21.4 mg/dL), 10.9 mg/dL (95% CI: 6.4, 15.4 mg/dL), 3.2 mg/dL (95% CI: 1.6, 5.0 mg/dL), 8.9 mg/dL (95% CI: 5.6, 12.2 mg/dL), and 6.9 mg/dL (95% CI: 1.7, 12.1 mg/dL), respectively. Participants in the highest quartile of serum selenium had 10% higher concentrations of triacylglycerols than did participants in the lowest quartile (ratio of triacylglycerol concentrations: 1.10; 95% CI: 1.05, 1.17). The difference in the ratios of LDL cholesterol to HDL cholesterol and apo B to apo A-I that compared the highest with the lowest selenium quartiles were 0.11 (95% CI: -0.02, 0.25) and 0.03 (95% CI: 0.00, 0.06), respectively. CONCLUSION: Elevated serum selenium was associated with elevated serum concentrations of total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, triacylglycerols, apo B, and apo A-I among US adults, a selenium-replete population. Experimental studies are needed to determine cause and effect relations and the potential mechanisms underlying these associations.  相似文献

Since fall 1984 all agricultural multinutrient fertilizers in Finland have been supplemented with sodium selenate in an attempt to improve the nutritional quality of local foodstuffs known to be exceptionally low in selenium. The intervention has been effective from the growing season 1985 and it has affected practically all domestic agricultural products. From 1984 to 1986 the mean Se concentration of different foods increased. The mean Se intake of the population, calculated on the basis of food consumption statistics and from the data of urinary Se excretion, as well as the average serum Se concentration of both urban and rural people increased also during the same period. Enrichment of fertilizers with sodium selenate seems an efficient and predictable way of increasing the Se concentration of foods and the Se intake of people in low-Se areas.  相似文献
