Objective:

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the action of sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) associated with an intracanal medication against Candida albicans and Enterococcus faecalis inoculated in root canals.

Material and Methods:

Thirty-six human single-rooted teeth with single root canals were used. The canals were contaminated with C. albicans and E. faecalis for 21 days and were then instrumented with 1% NaOCl. The roots were divided into 3 groups (n=12) according to the intracanal medication applied: calcium hydroxide paste, 2% chlorhexidine (CHX) gel, and 2% CHX gel associated with calcium hydroxide. The following collections were made from the root canals: a) initial sample (IS): 21 days after contamination (control), b) S1: after instrumentation, c) S2: 14 days after intracanal medication placement; S3: 7 days after intracanal medication removal. The results were analyzed statistically by the Kruskal-Wallis test at 5% significance level.

Results and Conclusions:

Both 1% NaOCl irrigation and the intracanal medications were effective in eliminating E. faecalis and C. albicans inoculated in root canals.  相似文献

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the extent of bacterial reduction with nickel-titanium rotary instrumentation and 1.25% NaOCl irrigation. Also, the additional antibacterial effect of calcium hydroxide for >1 wk was tested. Forty-two subjects with radiographic and clinical signs of chronic apical periodontitis were recruited. The canals were sampled before treatment, during and after instrumentation, and after treatment with calcium hydroxide and the samples incubated anaerobically for 7 days at 37 degrees C. The bacteria from each sample were quantified and the log10 values were used for calculations and comparisons. The initial sample confirmed infection of the canals. There was a significantly greater pattern of reduction of bacteria when NaOCl was used as an irrigant, compared with sterile saline (p < 0.05). After instrumentation with NaOCl irrigation, 61.9% of canals were rendered bacteria-free. The placement of calcium hydroxide for at least 1 wk rendered 92.5% of the canals bacteria free. This was a significant reduction, compared with NaOCl irrigation alone (p = 0.0001). The results of this study indicate that NaOCl irrigation with rotary instrumentation is an important step in the reduction of canal bacteria during endodontic treatment. However this method could not consistently render canals bacteria-free. The addition of calcium hydroxide intracanal medication should be used to more predictably attain this goal.  相似文献

This clinical study was conducted to assess the bacterial reduction after chemomechanical preparation with 2.5% NaOCl as an irrigant and the additive antibacterial effect of intracanal dressing with calcium hydroxide. According to stringent inclusion criteria, 11 teeth with primary intraradicular infections and chronic apical periodontitis were selected and monitored in the study. Bacterial samples were taken at the baseline (before treatment) (S1), after chemomechanical preparation with 2.5% NaOCl as an irrigant (S2), and after a 7-day dressing with a calcium hydroxide paste in glycerin (S3). Cultivable bacteria recovered from infected root canals at the 3 stages were counted and identified by means of 16S rRNA gene sequencing analysis. At S1, all canals were positive for bacteria, with the mean number of 2.8 taxa per canal (range, 1-6). At S2, 5 cases (45.5%) still harbored cultivable bacteria, with 1 or 2 species per canal. At S3, bacteria were cultured from 2 cases (18.2%), with 1 species per positive case. There was no indication that any specific bacterial taxon was more resistant to treatment. A significant reduction in bacterial counts was observed between S1 and S2, and S1 and S3. However, no statistically significant difference was observed for comparisons involving S2 and S3 samples with regard to the number of cases yielding negative cultures (P = .18) or quantitative bacterial reduction (P = .19). It was concluded that the whole antibacterial protocol used in this study significantly reduced the number of bacteria in the canal and rendered most canals free of cultivable bacteria.  相似文献

The antibacterial efficacy of intracanal medication with calcium hydroxide [Ca(OH)2], 2% chlorhexidine gel (CHX), and a combination of both [Ca(OH)2/CHX] was assessed in teeth with chronic apical periodontitis. Thirty-three canals were instrumented, randomly divided into three groups, and medicated with either Ca(OH)2, CHX, or Ca(OH)2/CHX. Bacteriological samples obtained from the operative field and the root canals before (S1) and after instrumentation (S2) in the first treatment session, and after medication (S3) in the second session 1 week later, were assessed for bacterial growth, observed by turbidity and in agar plates, and viable colony-forming unit (CFU) counts. Bacterial growth and CFU counts decreased significantly from S1 to S2 (Mann-Whitney, p<0.05). Differences in growth and counts between S2 to S3 were not statistically significant for all three intracanal medication groups. It was concluded that the antibacterial efficacy of Ca(OH)2, CHX, and Ca(OH)2/CHX was comparable.  相似文献

目的:观察金栀含漱液对感染根管冲洗消毒的抗菌效果。方法:选择27例患者的感染根管患牙30颗,随机分为实验组和对照组,每组15颗。实验组采用金栀2倍稀释液冲洗根管,浓缩液作为根管消毒药物。对照组采用氯亚明冲洗根管,氢氧化钙药尖消毒根管。根管预备冲洗前、预备冲洗后、封药后分别取细菌样本进行厌氧培养、分离和鉴定,计算并采用重复测量的方差分析比较2组细菌检出率、CFU随时间的变化趋势。结果:实验组专性厌氧菌的检出率由73.3%下降到预备冲洗后的46.7%和封药后的13.3%,对照组厌氧菌的检出率由73.3%下降到预备冲洗后的20.0%和封药后的26.7%,2组细菌检出率无统计学差异(P=0.9721)。实验组专性厌氧菌CFU由1462.9下降为预备冲洗后的27.9和封药后的15.7,对照组厌氧菌CFU由1402.8下降到预备冲洗后的14.0和封药后的45.1,2组细菌检出量无统计学差异(P=0.688)。结论:金栀含漱液对感染根管内厌氧菌有良好的抗菌效果。  相似文献

DATA SOURCES: Searches of Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials (CENTRAL), Medline, Embase, six thesis databases (Networked Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations, Proquest Digital Dissertations, OAIster, Index to Theses, Australian Digital Thesis program and Dissertation.com) and one conference report database (BIOSIS Previews) were undertaken. There were no language restrictions. STUDY SELECTION: Studies were included in which participants had a noncontributory medical history, presented with mature teeth and radiographic evidence of periapical bone loss (as an indication of pre-operative canal infection), whose selected root canals had not previously received any endodontic treatment, and who had undergone nonsurgical root canal treatment during the study in which calcium hydroxide had also been used to seal in the canals. In addition, it was required that microbiological sampling had been undertaken during the course of treatment, before canal preparation, after canal preparation and after canal medication. Aerobic and anaerobic culturing techniques were performed on all samples. The treatment outcomes were stated in terms of positive and negative canal cultures. DATA EXTRACTION AND SYNTHESIS: All data were extracted in the same manner using a standardised data extraction sheet. Between-study heterogeneity was assessed using the standard chi-squared test or Q-statistic. The principal measure of treatment effect (antibacterial efficacy) was risk difference, which is normally defined as the risk in the experimental group minus risk in the control group. For the purpose of this study, it is given as the difference in the proportion of bacteria-positive cultures pre- and post-medication. RESULTS: Out of the eight studies (257 cases) included, one study used a small control group (in which canals were left empty, and no intracanal medicament was used between appointments). The other seven studies simply compared the frequency of positive cultures before and after calcium hydroxide medication. Six studies demonstrated a statistically significant difference between pre- and postmedicated canals, whereas two did not. There was considerable heterogeneity among studies. The pooled risk difference was 21% (95% confidence intervals, 6-47%. The difference in the proportion of cases positive for bacteria before and after treatment was not statistically significant (P = 0.12). CONCLUSIONS: Based on the current best available evidence, calcium hydroxide has limited effectiveness in eliminating bacteria from human root canals, when assessed by culture techniques. The quest for better antibacterial protocols and sampling techniques must continue to ensure that bacteria can be reliably eradicated prior to obturation.  相似文献

IntroductionThis clinical study evaluated the antibacterial effects of calcium hydroxide associated with different vehicles during the treatment of infected teeth with apical periodontitis.MethodsBacteriologic samples were taken from 90 necrotic root canals of teeth with apical periodontitis before (S1) and after preparation with a rotary nickel-titanium instrument system and 2.5% sodium hypochlorite irrigation (S2). The teeth were distributed in 3 groups according to the intracanal medication used, which consisted of a calcium hydroxide paste in glycerin, camphorated paramonochlorophenol/glycerin (CHPG), or 2% chlorhexidine for 1 week, and then another sample was taken (S3). The frequency of bacteria-positive cases and the reduction of bacterial counts were evaluated by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction.ResultsSubstantial intracanal bacterial reduction was observed after preparation in the 3 groups (P < .001). After calcium hydroxide paste in glycerin medication, the number of bacteria-positive cases decreased from 20/29 (69%) to 17/29 (59%); however, the mean bacterial counts increased 8.4% from S2 to S3. Medication with CHPG reduced the number of bacteria-positive cases from 17/29 (59%) to 15/29 (52%), with a significant mean S2–S3 reduction of 71% (P < .05). In the chlorhexidine group, the number of bacteria-positive cases decreased from 21/30 (70%) to 17/30 (57%) after medication, with a mean S2–S3 reduction of 55%, which, however, was not statistically significant (P > .05). Intergroup comparisons showed no significant differences (P > .05).ConclusionComparison between the 3 calcium hydroxide pastes showed no significant differences in antibacterial effectiveness in the main root canal. However, only the CHPG paste showed a significant reduction in bacterial counts when postpreparation and postmedication samples were compared.  相似文献

The present clinical study was conducted to assess the bacterial reduction after chemomechanical preparation using 0.12% chlorhexidine digluconate solution as an irrigant and the additive antibacterial effect of intracanal dressing with calcium hydroxide (Ca(OH)(2)) associated with 0.12% chlorhexidine digluconate gel. According to stringent inclusion/exclusion criteria, 13 teeth with primary intraradicular infections and chronic apical periodontitis were selected and followed in the study. Bacterial samples were taken at the baseline (before treatment) (S1), after chemomechanical preparation using chlorhexidine (CHX) as an irrigant (S2), and after a 7-day dressing with Ca(OH)(2)/CHX paste (S3). Cultivable bacteria recovered from infected root canals at the three stages were counted and identified by means of 16S ribosomal RNA gene sequencing analysis. At S1, all canals were positive for bacteria, with the mean number of 3.5 taxa per canal (range, 2-9). At S2, 7 cases (53.8%) still harbored cultivable bacteria, with a mean number of 1.7 taxon per canal (range, 1-4). At S3, only one case (7.7%) was positive for the presence of bacteria. The great majority of taxa found in posttreatment samples were gram-positive bacteria. A significantly high reduction in bacterial counts was observed between S1 and S2 and S1 and S3 (p<0.001). Also, significant differences were observed for comparisons involving S2 and S3 samples with regard to both quantitative bacterial reduction (p=0.014) and number of cases yielding negative cultures (p=0.01). It was concluded that chemomechanical preparation with 0.12% CHX solution as an irrigant significantly reduced the number of intracanal bacteria but failed to render the canal free of cultivable bacteria in about one half of the cases. Application of a 7-day intracanal dressing with Ca(OH)(2)/CHX paste further increased significantly the number of cases yielding negative cultures.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of 1% sodium hypochlorite and five intracanals medications on Candida albicans harvested inside root canals. The contaminated canals were irrigated with sterile saline solution and then treated as follows: (i) filled with Calen paste (calcium hydroxide/ glycol polyethylene paste); (ii) filled with camphorated paramonochloro phenol (CPMC); (iii) filled with 2% iodine-iodate solution; (iv) filled with tricresol formalin; (v) filled with Calen and CPMC pastes; (vi) irrigation with 1% sodium hypochlorite and filled with no intracanal medication; and (vii) no intracanal medication was used. Canal access and the apical foramen were then sealed with Cavit and the roots were stored in a humid chamber at 37 +/- 1 degree C for 14 days. The canals were reinstrumented and irrigated with sterile saline solution. Sterile paper points were used to transfer the root canal contents to test tubes containing sterile saline solution. Part of the suspension was harvested in Sabouraud dextrose agar with chloramphenicol and incubated at 37 +/- 1 degree C for 48 h. CPMC was effective in 100% of the samples followed in decreasing order of effectiveness by calcium hydroxide with CPMC (70% effective), 1% sodium hypochlorite (70% effective) (p < 0.05), tricresol formalin (60% effective), 2% iodine-iodate solution (50% effective), calcium hydroxide paste (30% effective), and saline + no intracanal medication.  相似文献

Calcium hydroxide is used as an intracanal medication for root canal disinfection and to enhance periapical lesion healing. However, calcium hydroxide remnants can negatively affect the final apical seal of obturated canals. The current study investigated apical leakage in root canals filled with Resilon after calcium hydroxide treatment. Seventy human maxillary central incisors were instrumented to a master apical file size of 40. Teeth were randomly divided into two experimental groups (A and B; n = 30) and two control groups (n = 5). Root canals in group A received a calcium hydroxide dressing, while those in group B received no intracanal medication. One week after treatment, all root canals were obturated with Resilon/Epiphany using lateral compaction. Groups A and B were randomly divided into subgroups A1, A2, B1, and B2 (n = 15). All subgroups were stored in an incubator at 37 degrees C and 100% humidity; subgroups A1 and B1 were stored for one week, while subgroups A2 and B2 were stored for eight weeks. Dye penetration and clearing techniques were used to evaluate apical leakage. Data were analyzed using a Student t-test, with significance set at P < 0.05. Observed apical leakage was significantly higher in subgroup A1 than in subgroups A2 and B1 and in subgroup A2 than in subgroup B2; no statistically significant difference was found between subgroups B1 and B2. When used as an intracanal medication, calcium hydroxide increases the apical leakage of root canals filled with Resilon/Epiphany.  相似文献

The purpose of this clinical study was to determine the effect of 7 day intracanal dressing with calcium hydroxide on the amount of bacterial lipopolysaccharide (LPS; endotoxin) in human teeth with necrotic and infected pulp and apical periodontitis. Twenty‐five single‐rooted teeth with necrotic pulps and apical periodontitis were selected. Samples were collected before (S1), after root canal preparation (S2) and after 7 day intracanal dressing with calcium hydroxide (S3). The limulus amoebocyte lysate assay was used to quantify LPS. LPS was present in 100% of the root canals before (S1), after preparation (S2) and after 7 day intracanal dressing (S3). A significant reduction, equal to 29.54%, was found after root canal preparation (P < 0.05). A significant difference (equal to 25.26% reduction) was also detected between S2 and S3 (P < 0.05). Total endotoxin reduction (S3 compared with S1) was found to be 47.34%. Endotoxin concentration of the infected root canals was reduced after root canal preparation and also after 7 days of dressing of canals with calcium hydroxide; however, relatively high values of endotoxin remained in the root canals.  相似文献

AIM: To evaluate the effectiveness of 2% chlorhexidine gluconate gel and calcium hydroxide (Ca(OH)2) as intracanal medicaments against Enterococcus faecalis. METHODOLOGY: One hundred and eighty dentine tubes prepared from intact freshly extracted bovine maxillary central incisors were infected in vitro for 7 days with E. faecalis. The specimens were divided into four groups, according to the intracanal medicament used, as follows: Group 1: 2% chlorhexidine gluconate gel; Group 2: calcium hydroxide in a viscous vehicle (polyethyleneglycol 400); Group 3: 2% chlorhexidine gluconate gel + calcium hydroxide and Group 4: Brain Heart Infusion (BHI) broth (control group). The medicaments were placed into the canal lumen and left there for experimental times of 1, 2, 7, 15 and 30 days. After each period, irrigation with sterile saline to remove the medicament was performed and the canals were dried with sterile paper points. Dentine chips were removed from the canals with sequential sterile round burs at low speed. The samples obtained with each bur were immediately collected in separate test tubes containing BHI broth. The tubes were incubated at 37 degrees C and daily observed for microbial growth, visualized by the medium turbidity. RESULTS: Chlorhexidine gel alone completely inhibited the growth of E. faecalis after 1, 2, 7 and 15 days. Calcium hydroxide allowed microbial growth at all experimental times. The combination of chlorhexidine and Ca(OH)2 was effective after 1 and 2 days demonstrating 100% antibacterial action; however, its antibacterial activity reduced between 7 and 15 days. CONCLUSION: Under the conditions of this study, it can be concluded that 2% chlorhexidine gel alone was more effective against E. faecalis than calcium hydroxide (P < 0.05). However, its antibacterial activity depended on how long it remained inside the root canal.  相似文献

The routine approach to endodontic treatment of teeth with apical periodontitis often involves an interappointment dressing with calcium hydroxide. However, investigations have demonstrated a negative influence of calcium hydroxide on the accuracy of microbiological root canal sampling (MRS). The aim of the present study was to investigate whether the use of a fluid dressing like 5% iodine potassium iodide (IPI) would increase the accuracy of MRS. Following instrumentation of 50 teeth with radiographically verified apical periodontitis the root canals received IPI as an intracanal dressing. One week after closure canals were sampled, "test sample" (TS), and then left filled with sampling fluid and temporarily scaled. Seven days later a "gold standard" (GS) sample was obtained. Bacteria were recovered in 22 teeth (44%) in TS as well as in GS. Fifteen teeth (30%) were positive for growth in both samples. Using the detection level "very sparse growth" of microbes the sensitivity and specificity of MRS reached 68% and 75%, respectively. In an earlier study, following the same experimental protocol, but with calcium hydroxide as intracanal dressing, the corresponding values were 33% and 81%. In 25% of these cases bacteria persisted in the canals. As compared to calcium hydroxide, the use of IPI resulted in improved test accuracy, but loss of antibacterial capacity. Conclusively, intracanal dressings seem to vary in their influence on the microbiologic test performance as well as in their antibacterial efficacy. In a clinical situation the choice of interappointment dressing should include consideration of these potentially conflicting properties.  相似文献

AIM: To determine to what extent does calcium hydroxide intracanal medication eliminate bacteria from human root canals, compared with the same canals before medication, as measured by the number of positive cultures, in patients undergoing root canal treatment for apical periodontitis (teeth with an infected root canal system). METHODOLOGY: CENTRAL, MEDLINE and EMBASE databases were searched. Reference lists from identified articles were scanned. A forward search was undertaken on the authors of the identified articles. Papers that had cited these articles were also identified through the Science Citation Index to identify potentially relevant subsequent primary research. REVIEW METHODS: The included studies were pre-/post-test clinical trials comparing the number of positive bacterial cultures from treated canals. Data in those studies were independently extracted. Risk differences of included studies were combined using the generic inverse variance and random effect method. RESULTS: Eight studies were identified and included in the review, covering 257 cases. Sample size varied from 18 to 60 cases; six studies demonstrated a statistically significant difference between pre- and post-medicated canals, whilst two did not. There was considerable heterogeneity among studies. Pooled risk difference was -21%; 95% CI: -47% to 6%. The difference between pre- and post-medication was not statistically significant (P = 0.12). CONCLUSIONS: Calcium hydroxide has limited effectiveness in eliminating bacteria from human root canal when assessed by culture techniques.  相似文献

目的探讨中药复方提取液对难治性慢性根尖周炎根管壁细菌的影响。方法难治性慢性根尖周炎患牙20颗,随机分为试验组和对照组各10颗,分别采用中药复方提取液和氢氧化钙制剂作为根管内消毒药物。根管封药前和封药后1周分别采集细菌标本送培养鉴定。结果难治性慢性根尖周炎根管壁检出的优势菌群主要为不解糖消化链球菌、放线菌、双歧杆菌、韦荣球菌、嗜酸乳酸杆菌和牙龈卟啉单胞菌等。根管封药消毒后,2组细菌检出量都显著降低(P〈0.05),但细菌检出率和检出量的差异无统计学意义(P〉0.05)。结论中药复方提取液对难治性慢性根尖周炎的优势菌群有良好的抗菌效果。  相似文献

The number of appointments necessary to treat infected root canals is one of the most controversial issues in endodontics. This study evaluated, in dogs, the response of the periradicular tissues to the endodontic treatment of infected root canals performed in a single visit or in two visits, using different interappointment dressings. Periradicular lesions were induced by inoculating Enterococcus faecalis in the root canals. After confirming that a periradicular lesion developed, the root canals were treated within one or two visits, using either ozonized oil or calcium hydroxide in camphorated paramonochlorophenol (CMCP) as an intracanal medication. After 6 months, the animals were sacrificed and the specimens were processed for histological and histobacteriological analysis. The root canals treated in a single visit showed a success rate of 46%. When a calcium hydroxide/CMCP-based interappointment intracanal medication was used, 74% of the cases were categorized as success. In cases where ozonized oil was used as the intracanal medication, a success rate of 77% was observed. These results of the present study demonstrated that the two-visit treatment offered a higher success rate compared to one-visit therapy. In addition, ozonized oil may potentially be used as an intracanal medication.  相似文献

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the antibacterial efficacy of an intracanal medication composed of calcium hydroxide with 2% chlorhexidine. Dentin from 24 bovine incisors was used. The incisors were made into standardized cylindrical segments of dentin and infected with Enterococcus faecalis. They were then treated with an intracanal paste composed of calcium hydroxide and sterile water or an intracanal paste composed of calcium hydroxide and 2% chlorhexidine for 1 week. Dentin shavings were collected, suspended in solution, and spread on brain-heart infusion agar. After incubation, colony-forming units were enumerated. The amount of bacteria per mg of dentin was determined. The calcium hydroxide paste with 2% chlorhexidine was significantly more effective at killing E. faecalis in the dentinal tubules than calcium hydroxide with water.  相似文献

AIM: The aim of this study was to determine the influence of calcium hydroxide intracanal medication and various techniques for its removal on the sealing ability of gutta-percha root fillings with a zinc oxide-eugenol sealer. METHODOLOGY: Eighty extracted mature human mandibular molar roots were divided into three groups of similar root-canal configuration. Calcium hydroxide paste was made by mixing calcium hydroxide powder with distilled water at a powder to liquid ratio of 1:1.25. After root canals were prepared and enlarged to a minimum of size 30 with the Profile 0.06 system, calcium hydroxide paste was placed in the canals of two groups, but no medication was placed in the control group. The intracanal calcium hydroxide was removed with two different techniques, 1 week after medication: K-files one size larger than the master apical file (MAF) were used with 2.5% NaOCl and 15% EDTA solutions in one group, whilst K-files the same size as the MAF were used with 2.5% NaOCl solution in another group. Canals were obturated with gutta-percha and Tubli-Seal cement using the lateral condensation technique. The apical sealing-ability was assessed by dye leakage and cross-sections of the specimens were examined under a stereomicroscope. The dye-penetration level was measured and analyzed using Fisher's exact test and Duncan's multiple range test. RESULTS: The calcium hydroxide-medicated groups showed significantly more dye leakage than the non-medicated control group (P < 0.05). However, there was no significant difference between the two calcium hydroxide-medicated groups (P > 0.05). The stereomicroscopic views showed a relatively uneven and thicker layer of sealer in the calcium hydroxide-medicated groups. CONCLUSION: Calcium hydroxide intracanal medication may increase apical leakage of gutta-percha root fillings when a zinc oxide-eugenol sealer is used.  相似文献

Introduction

This randomized clinical study compared the antibacterial effectiveness of treatment protocols using either a triple antibiotic solution (1 mg/mL) or calcium hydroxide/chlorhexidine paste as interappointment medication in infected canals of teeth with primary apical periodontitis.

Methods

The root canals of single-rooted teeth with apical periodontitis were prepared by using a reciprocating single-instrument technique with 2.5% sodium hypochlorite irrigation and then medicated for 1 week with either a triple antibiotic solution (minocycline, metronidazole, and ciprofloxacin) at 1 mg/mL (n = 24) or a calcium hydroxide paste in 2% chlorhexidine gluconate (n = 23). Samples were taken from the canal at the baseline (S1), after chemomechanical preparation (S2), and after intracanal medication (S3). DNA extracts from clinical samples were evaluated for total bacterial reduction using a 16S ribosomal RNA gene-based quantitative polymerase chain reaction assay.

Results

All S1 samples were positive for the presence of bacteria, and counts were substantially reduced after treatment procedures (P < .01). Bacterial levels in S2 and S3 samples did not significantly differ between groups (P > .05). S2 to S3 reduction was 97% in the antibiotic group and 39% in the calcium hydroxide/chlorhexidine group; only the former reached statistical significance (P < .01). There were significantly more quantitative polymerase chain reaction–negative S3 samples in the antibiotic group than in the calcium hydroxide group (P < .05).

Conclusions

Interappointment medication with a triple antibiotic solution at the concentration of 1 mg/mL significantly improved root canal disinfection, and its effects were at least comparable with the calcium hydroxide/chlorhexidine paste. Effectiveness and easy delivery of the antibiotic solution make it an appropriate medicament as part of a disinfecting protocol for conventional nonsurgical endodontic treatment and possibly regenerative endodontic procedures.  相似文献

目的:比较Endocal、Calxyl、国产氢氧化钙糊剂、Vitapex 4种氢氧化钙制剂对牙髓根尖周主要致病菌牙髓卟啉单胞菌(Porphyromonas endodontalis,P.e)活性的影响。方法:(1)通过动态比浊法比较在直接接触条件下不同氢氧化钙制剂不同作用时间对牙髓卟啉单胞菌的抑制作用。(2)选取新鲜拔除的人单根管牙85颗,经根管预备、高压消毒灭菌后,置入P.e菌悬液,建立牙髓卟啉单胞菌感染模型。将模型采用抽签法随机分为5组,即Endocal组、Calxyl组、国产氢氧化钙糊剂组、Vitapex组、无菌去离子水对照组。分别于封药前和封药7d后,用无菌纸捻在根管中取样,细菌培养计数菌落,并完成细菌24h回复实验。采用SPSS11.0软件包对数据进行统计学处理。结果:Endocal、Calxyl、国产氢氧化钙糊剂、Vitapex均能有效减少牙髓卟啉单胞菌的数量(P<0.05),细菌清除率均达95%以上。动态比浊法检测结果显示,Endocal、国产氢氧化钙糊剂抑菌作用优于其他组,有显著性差异(P<0.05);细菌培养法结果显示,Endocal组细菌清除率显著大于Vitapex组(P<0.05)。结论:Endocal、Calxyl、国产氢氧化钙糊剂、Vitapex 4种药物对牙髓卟啉单胞菌均有较好的抑制作用,其中,Endocal的抗菌作用优于Vitapex。  相似文献
