Primary lymphoma of the bladder

The authors present the case of a 74-year-old man in whom bladder tumor was detected the reason for haematuria. The histological investigation of transurethral resected pattern showed lymphocytic lymphoma. In possession of the histological finding detailed haematological examination has been carried out, the patient was without evidence of lymphoma dissemination. He received multichemotherapy (6 courses) and locoregional cytostatic therapy and complete clinical remission was detected. The authors report our experience with extranodal bladder lymphoma included diagnostic and therapeutical notes as well as a review of the relevant literature.     

Primary renal non-Hodgkin lymphoma

Primary renal non Hodgkin lymphoma is rare and unusual because the renal parenchyma does not have lymphatics. We report a case of bilateral primary lymphoblastic T lymphoma presenting with renal insufficiency in a 14 year old girl. We discuss clinical, pathological particularity and prognosis.     

2 patients with a non-Hodgkin lymphoma located in the pancreas]

A small percentage (around 1.5%) of pancreatic malignancies are well treatable non-Hodgkin's lymphomas. Two patients with this disease are described. One patient was treated with both surgery and chemotherapy, the other with chemotherapy only. The results in both patients were excellent with complete responses being achieved. The literature on pancreatic non-Hodgkin's lymphomas is reviewed.     

Primary non-Hodgkin''s lymphoma of the orbit.

Between 1954 and 1980, 9 patients with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma of the orbit were treated at the Regional Radiotherapy Centre, Mount Vernon Hospital. Following radiotherapy complete local regression of the tumour was seen in every case. Three patients subsequently developed recurrent disease which proved fatal in two cases. The overall 5 year survival was 89%.
