CLINICAL OBSERVATION ON 32 CASES OF FUNCTIONAL ENURESIS TREATED WITH ACUPUNCTURE AT BAIHUI(GV 20)

Acupuncture at Baihui（GV 20）was employed in treating 32 cases of functionalenuresis.As a result,the curative rate reached 81.25％,but that in control group of 32 cases withoutneedling Baihui point was 56.25％.There was a significant difference in statistics（P<0.05）.It indi- cates that Baihui can enhance the therapeutic effect of acupuncture on treating enuresis.     

CLINICAL OBSERVATION ON 134 CASES OF SEQUELAE OF POLIOMYELITIS TREATED WITH ACUPUNCTURE PLUS ACUPOINT-INJECTION

We had treated 134 cases of sequelae of poliomyelitis with acupuncture and acu-point-injection from 1989 to 1991. The patients' ages ranged from 3 months to 2 years, and thecourses of disease were 3 days to 2 years. For most of cases, we had got a satisfactory effect after 3curative courses. The total effective rate was 91%. It indicates that the acupuncture plus acupoint-in-jection is a good method for treating the sequela of poliomyelitis.

TREATMENT OF 80 CASES OF MALPOSITION OF FETUS BY MOXIBUSTION COMBINED WITH CHINESE DRUGS

On 80 patients with abnormal fetal position, we observed the effects of moxibustioncombined with Chinese herbs on the position of fetus. The results suggest this therapy is practical andeffective.

OBSERVATION ON THERAPEUTIC EFFECT OF 120 CASES BLEPHAROPTOSIS TREATED WITH ACUPUNCTURE

The writer had applied the theory of meridlians and collaterals to differentiation ofsyndrome,type classification,principle of treatment and selection of points.120 cases of blepharoptosis were treated with acupuncture therapy.The results showed that 90 cases were cured（75.0％）,21 cases improve（17.5％）and 9 without effect（7.5％）,with the total effective rate of 92.5％.     

CLINICAL OBSERVATION ON THE APHAGIA OF PSEUDOBULBAR PALSY TREATED WITH ACUPUNCTURE

This paper presents clinical observation on 30 cases with aphagia of pseudobul-bar palsy treated by acupuncture. As a result, 16 cases (53.33%) were cured, 12 (40%) markedlyimproved and 2 (6.67%) ineffective, after one course (7 days). And 27 cases (90%) were curedand 3 (10%) improved markedly within one month.     

CLINICAL OBSERVATION ON TREATMENT OF 110 CASES OF OPTIC ATROPHY WITH ACUPUNCTURE

The author punctured Kuangshang (the medial one third of the supraorbitalmargin ), Jieli (midway between the occipital condyle and apex helix) and Yintang ((EX-HN3 ) asmain points to treat optic atrophy in 164 eyes of 110 patients. The results showed that 12 eyes (7.3% ) were cured, 71 eyes (43. 3 % ) remarkably effective, 39 eyes (23. 8 % ) improved and 42 eyes(25. 6 % ) ineffective, with the total effective rate 74. 4 %.

CLINICAL OBSERVATION ON TREATMENT OF 89 CASES OF URINE RETENTION WITH ACUPUNCTURE

In the present paper,89 cases of urine retention patients were treated with acupuncture therapy.Qugu(CV2) and Zhaohai(Kl 6) were punctured and stimulated with reinforcing or reducing needling method according to syndrome differentiation.Following treatment,of the 89 cases,69(77.5%)had remarkble improvement of their symptome,19(21.3%) experienced improvement and one had no apparent change,with the total effective rate being 98.8%.     

CLINICAL OBSERVATION ON ACUPUNCTURE TREATMENT OF 47 CASES WITH SECONDARY AMENORRHEA

Cases of secondary amenorrhea were treated by acupuncture, and the rate ofrestoring menstruation is relatively high. The total effective rate was 77%. But the some diseasewhich may cause amenorrhea is difficult to treat, such as hypo-ovaria praecox, pituitary micro-adenoma. The acupuncture has clear curative effect during primary course treatment. The amenorrhea withlactorrhea syndrome by the high prolactin (PRL) in the serum is also able to be treated by usingacupuncture.

CLINICAL OBSERVATION ON 44 CASES OF APOPLEXY WITH ZHU''''S SCALP ACUPUNCTURE

AN OBSERVATION ON CURATIVE EFFECTS IN 76 CASES OF IMPOTENCE TREATED WITH ACUPUNCTURE AND ACUPOINT-INJECTION

针刺治疗神经外科术后偏瘫临床疗效观察

目的：探讨治疗神经外科术后病人偏瘫的最佳疗法。方法：将本病患者50例随机分为治疗组25例和对照组25例。对照组采用内科西药常规治疗,治疗组在对照组治疗基础上,术后3天加用针刺,取内关、水沟、曲池、合谷、三阴交、极泉、委中等穴,并合用头针,治疗30天（1次／日）,以神经功能缺损评分进行治疗前后的功能评价。结果：采用针刺法能明显改善患者的神经功能缺损程度,治疗组总有效率为76．0％,对照组总有效率为42．4％,经统计学处理（P〈0．05）,两组间差异有显著性意义。结论：治疗组疗效优于对照组。采用针刺配合西药治疗神经外科术后病人偏瘫有协同作用,疗效更好。
