In the present paper, the therapeutic effect of acupuncture in treatment of 42 cases of epigastralgia was observed using multiple objective indexes, including electrogastrogram (EGG), output of gastric acid and pepsase, plasma prostaglandin (PG) E and gastrin contents, the number and morphological structure of gastrin (G) cells of the antrum mucosa. These 42 cases included 18 cases of deficiency syndrome type, 13 excess syndrome type and 11 mixed type of deficiency and excess. Zhongwan (CV 12), Neiguan (PC 6) and Zusanli (ST 36) were punctured combined with other acupoints according to syndrome patterns. After treatment, 32 cases (76.19% ) were cured, 6( 14.29% ) had remarkable improvement and 4 (9.52%) had improvement, with a cure plus markedly effective rate of 90.48 %. Gastroscopic and EGG examination suggested that the function and structure of the stomach returned to normal after acupuncture. In addition, acupuncture stimulation had a bi-directional regulative action on gastric acid secretion, gastrin content, EGG activity, etc. Conclusion: Acupuncture treatment has a good regulative action on gastric function and structure in epigastraigia patients.  相似文献

Objective: To observe the therapeutic efficacy of acupuncture combined with hyperbaric oxygenation for cervical spondylosis of nerve root type in acute phase. Methods: One hundred cases with cervical spondylosis of nerve root type in acute phase were randomly divided into two groups, with 50 patients in each group. The patients in the treatment group were treated by acupuncture combined with hyperbaric oxygenation, and those in the control group only received the same acupuncture therapy as the treatment group. The therapeutic efficacy was evaluated after 2 courses of treatment. Results: In the treatment group, 27 cases were cured, 9 cases showed markedly effective, and 4 cases were invalid, and the recovery rate was 67.5%, the total effective rate was 90.0%; in the control group, 18 cases were cured, 17 cases showed markedly effective, 15 cases were invalid, and the recovery rate was 36.0%, the total effective rate was 70.0%. There were statistically significant differences between two groups in the recovery rate and the total effective rate(both P0.05). The average cure time of the treatment group was(15.56±7.13) d, and that of the control group was(22.13±7.78) d, which also had significant difference between the two groups(P0.05). Conclusion: Acupuncture combined with hyperbaric oxygenation has rapid and reliable effects for cervical spondylosis of nerve root type in acute phase.  相似文献

Objective: To observe clinical therapeutic effect of magnetic resonance imaging (MRl)-aided enclosure needling in the treatment of stroke patients and changes of the related blood rheology. Methods: A total of 61stroke patients were randomized into MR I-aided enclosure needling group (MRI-aided acupuncture group) (n = 31 ) and conventional acupuncture group (n= 30). For patients of MRl-aided acupuncture group, acupuncture needles were inserted into the subcutaneous tissues around the focus-projection scalp area displayed by MRI, with the needle tips toward the center of the projection region and with two needles being about 2 crn apart, combined with other acupoints according to the concrete syndromes or symptoms. For patients of conventional acupuncture group, Motor Area (MS 6)and Sensory Area (MS 7) on the contralateral side of the focus were punctured. The treatment was conducted once daily, continuously for 30 days. Results: After treatment, of the 31 cases in MRl-aided acupuncture group, 20 werecured basically, 10 responded with significant improvement of symptoms and signs, one case had some improvement. While in conventional acupuncture group, of the 30 cases, 11 were cured basically, 15 responded with striking amelioration of symptoms and signs and 4 had some amelioration. Ridit analysis showed that the therapeutic effect of MRI-aided acupuncture group was significantly superior to that of conventional acupuncture group (P < 0.05). After treatment, the whole blood viscosity, plasma viscosity, hematocrit, whole blood reduction viscosity, hemagglutination index, and the total score of the two groups all decreased significantly in comparison with those of pre-treatment of each group, while whole blood viscosity, hematocrit, vascular sclerosis index and the total score of MRl-aided acupuncture group were obviously lower than those of conventional acupuncture group ( P< 0.05- 0.01 ), suggesting that the effect of theformer group in bettering blood rheology was pronouncedly superior to that of conventional acupuncture group. Conclusion: MRl-aided acupuncture group is obviously superior to that of conventional acupuncture group in improving clinicalsymptoms and signs and blood rheology in stroke patients.  相似文献

In this study, the therapeutic effect of acupuncture and its effect on serum tumor necrosis factor apha (TNF-α) level was observed in 25 cases of allergic bronchial asthma patients. Acupoints used were Dazhui (GV 14), Feishu (BL 13), Dingchuan (EX-B 1), Pishu (BL 20), Tanzhong (CV 17), Shenshu (BL 23) and Fengchi (GB 20), supplemented with other acupoints according to syndrome differentiation. After 15 sessions of treatment, results showed that the total effective rate was 96% . Before treatment, serum TNF-oc activity was significantly higher than that of healthy subjects (25 cases, P<0.01). After treatment, TNF-α level reduced considerably in comparison with that of pre-treatment (P < 0. 05). These findings indicate that acupuncture can significantly improve allergic asthma patients' clinical symptoms and lower serum TNF-α activity.  相似文献

Objective: Despite thousands of years of utilizing acupuncture for relief of pain, there is considerable controversy whether acupuncture deserves to be considered an efficacious modality along with medications and operations. Many publications claiming to answer this most important question have inspired more controversy regarding experimental design, designation of adequate controls and avoiding the dreaded placebo effect. Methods: We present a retrospective series of patients all of whom have severe chronic pain of the extremities with the unequivocal diagnosis of reflex sympathetic dystrophy. The patients were included if they had 15 treatments with acupuncture. The patients were treated in a single practice of acupuncture by two of the authors. There was no standardization of treatment given to each patient. The treatments were modified at each session. Objective date collected included the pain level on a 0 to 10 visual analogue scale and other functional data such as range of motion and daily activities. Results: At each treatment time, the acupuncture treatment significantly decreased the pain level from the value before the treatment to the pain level after the acupuncture treatment.Firsttreatment pre-treatment pain level: 7.43±2.15, post treatment 3.86±2.76(P0.0019).Over the course of the initial 15 treatments, the pre-treatment pain level did not significantly decline.Treatment number 15 had an average pain level of 6.5±1.51(P0.40).Conclusions: The treatment with acupuncture unequivocally caused a significant reduction in pain level on each treatment day; however, 15 treatments with acupuncture did not significantly produce a lasting effect. However, reviewing each individual charted data and analyzing the individual patient course gives a more accurate picture of the effect of acupuncture on patients with c omplex pain problems.  相似文献

OBJECTIVE: To observe the clinical efficacy of bloodletting therapy and acupuncture at Jiaji points for treating upper back myofascial pain syndrome(MPS), and compare this with lidocaine block therapy.METHODS: A total of 66 upper back MPS patients were randomly assigned to either the treatment group or the control group in a 1∶1 ratio. The treatment group(n = 33) were treated with bloodletting therapy at local myofascial trigger points and acupuncture at Jiaji(EX-B 2) points; one treatment course consisted of five, single 20-min-treatments with a 2-day break between each treatment. The control group(n = 33) were treated with a lidocaine block at trigger points; one treatment course consisted of five sessions of lidocaine block therapy with a 2-day break between each session. The simplified Mc Gill Scale(SF-MPQ) and tenderness threshold determination were used to assess pain before and after a course of treatment.RESULTS: After the third and fifth treatment, the SF-MPQ values were significantly decreased(P 0.01) and the tenderness thresholds were significantly increased(P 0.01) in both groups compared with before treatment. There were no significant differences in pain assessments between the two groups after three and five treatments(P 0.05). There were five cases with minor adverse reactions reported in the control patients, while no adverse reactions were reported in the treatment group.CONCLUSION: Bloodletting therapy at local myofascial trigger points and acupuncture at Jiaji points was effective in treating upper back MPS.Clinically, bloodletting and acupuncture therapy had the same efficacy as the lidocaine block therapy, with fewer adverse reactions.  相似文献

In the present paper,46 cases of periarthritis of shoulder were treated by needlingthe Jiansanzhen with magnetic pole needle and massage. Among them,43 cases were cured, ac-counting for 93. 48% and 46 were effective. The total effective rate was 100%. In control groupI there were 23 cases, who received treatment of acupuncture with traditional stainless-steel fili-form needle and massage, the total effective rate was 91. 3%. Comparison of the therapeutic ef-fects between the two groups showed X~2=4. 12, P<0.05. In control group II there were 23 cas-es, who received needling Tiaokou point (ST 38)-through-Chengshan (BL 57) with the abovementioned stainless-steel filiform, one of ancient and modern experimental methods, the total ef-fecive rate was 82. 6%, which was compared with that in the treatment group, indicating X~2=8.492, P<0. 01. It is suggested that the therapeutic effect in the treatment group was superior tothat in the control group I and significantly superior to that in the control group II. T  相似文献
