2005～2010年是深圳市基本实现现代化的关键时期，是建设现代化国际性城市的重要历史阶段。随着社会经济的发展和人民生活水平的提高，生命准备、生命保护、生命质量以及人民的健康水平越来越成为人们关注的热点话题和社会生活领域。因此，把健康教育与健康促进作为提高公民素质，转变生活方式，改善人类健康水平和生活质量的重要手段已经成为国际社会的共识，成为各国政府制定卫生政策的基石。为了贯彻落实《中共中央、国务院关于卫生改革与发展的决定》，全面落实党的十六大精神，与时俱进，开拓创新，全面和深刻地把握深圳市健康教育与健康促进规划的总体思路是很有必要的。

随着社会经济的发展，人民生活水平的提高，糖尿病(DM)等慢性病已成为严重威胁无锡市人民健康的主要疾病。健康教育是预防和控制DM的重要措施之一。为了解无锡市居民DM健康需求和相关知识知晓情况，于2003年9月-10月开展了本次调查。

随着社会经济的不断发展，人民生活水平的不断提高，“健康”已成为人们日益关注的话题。面对饮食结构的改变、劳动强度的改善、应激状态的增加、社会人口的老龄化，慢性疾病的发病率不断上升，“健康教育”显得尤为重要。“健康教育”就是把健康文明的生活理念、积极向上的科学生活方式和生活习惯及预防疾病的知识传授给广大群众，增强自我保护和防范意识，预防和控制疾病的发生。为了解和硕县健康教育工作的现状，为领导决策提供有效依据，给今后的健教工作打下基础，不断提高全县人民的健康意识和总体生活质量，我们于2004年9月对全县6乡1镇机关、学校的健康教育工作进行了调查，现将调查结果报告如下。     

Ecosystem health and human health

The study of ecosystem health is a relatively recent discipline that has already provided new insights into numerous aspects of environmental management. One of the most interesting fields of study is the one investigating the relationships between ecosystem and human heath. In this paper some basic terms of reference are given in order to help the understanding of this new approach. One definition of ecosystem health is given, possible causes of degradation are indicated and links with human health are addressed. The ecosystem approach to human health stresses the importance of cultural and social values in shaping the concept of health, both at human and at ecosystem level. Two case-studies showing man-ecosystem interactions are described: mining activities, that provide a suitable field of application of the ecosystem approach, and the case of malaria and DDT, that shows the risks of certain policies neglecting basic human expectations such as health. As a conclusion, some suggestions for possible research activities are given and a few recommendations for sound public health policies are indicated.

Community health and foot health

The limiting factor in health and mobility for many seniors is the state of their feet. The origins of their foot problems can often be traced back to childhood and years of wearing badly fitting or inappropriate footwear. Well-fitting footwear is essential if mobility and independence are to be retained. The chiropodist (or podiatrist) is a health professional specializing in the treatment of conditions of the foot. Some common foot conditions, together with their treatments, are described. Although numbers of chiropodists in Canada are limited, their role is being increasingly recognized in maintaining or restoring mobility, and also their place in the community health team.

Certain cancers, hypertension, diabetes, leukemia, gastrointestinal disorders, osteoporosis, and HIV and other infectious diseases can manifest themselves in the oral cavity. In addition, some of these conditions and the therapies for them can affect the teeth and mouth. This article outlines what physicians should know about how certain medical conditions and medications can affect dental health and treatment, how dentists can help detect underlying medical conditions, and how the two professions can better serve patients by working together. placement of implants, periodontal surgery, endodontic treatment, or subgingival manipulation. Physicians should be aware of potential complications from dental treatment, inform patients of the risks, and communicate to the patient's dentist about the patient's physical status, the extent to which his or her condition is under control, and how to prevent complications. The following examples illustrate the need for such interaction between physicians and dentists.     

亚健康与健康管理——认识亚健康,做自己的健康管理医师

亚健康问题已成为受社会关注的的热点之一,亚健康作为健康与疾病的中介状态,具有可向疾病发展、又可向健康逆转的双向性,因此,对亚健康的诊断,及时采取干预措施,有助于个体向健康方向转化,对阻止疾病的发生、发展是极其有价值的,本文探讨了亚健康的理念及评估方法.并探讨通过健康管理中心这个平台,利用综合手段,如健康教育宣传、电话咨询、电视、电台健康节目互动、互联网、健康管理门诊治疗、亚健康评估、心理治疗、社会生活方式指导、健康监测等,对亚健康人群进行个体化的健康管理,从而使亚健康状态向健康方面发展,避免慢性病的发生.     

Women's health, men's health, and gender and health: implications of intersectionality

Although intersectionality is now recognized in the context of women's health, men's health, and gender and health, its full implications for research, policy, and practice have not yet been interrogated. This paper investigates, from an intersectionality perspective, the common struggles within each field to confront the complex interplay of factors that shape health inequities. Drawing on developments within intersectionality scholarship and various sources of research and policy evidence (including examples from the field of HIV/AIDS), the paper demonstrates the methodological feasibility of intersectionality and in particular, the wide-ranging benefits of de-centering gender through intersectional analyses.     

Psychology and health: contributions of psychology to the improvement of health and health care

Psychology as both a science and a profession has been closely identified with other disciplines in the broad field of health since the turn of the present century. Recent advances in health care have reinforced the growing belief that the promotion of health and the prevention and treatment of illness can be greatly enhanced by incorporating the scientific findings and modern techniques of psychology into everyday practices. This review outlines the contributions of psychology to health care throughout the world; only some of the most timely and relevant issues are mentioned, together with examples of current work in the field. After an introductory overview, special attention is given to each of the major areas within the broad field of health care where psychological applications have been particularly useful.
