A crude preparation of lymphocyte chalone was extracted from calf Spleen using coldaoctone and distilled water.Its inhibitory cffect on mouse lymphocyte proliferation was demonstratedby ~3H-TdR incorporation method in vitro.This extract shoed no inhibitory effect on the~3H-TdR uptake of K_562 cells and displayed no cytotoxicity to mouse lymphocyte,suggesting thatthere existed the activity of lymphocytc chalone in the extract.The crude chalone inhibited ~3H-TdRuptake of mouse lymphocyte stimulated with concanavalin A(Con A)and mixed lymphocytc re-sponse(MLR),and the degree of the inhibition was greater as the doses of the extract in culturesbecame higher,indicating it had inhibitory effect on T lymphocytes Its influence on the numbers ofrosette-forming cells(RFC)and plaque-forming cells(PFC)in the spleen of mice revealed that ithad inhibitory effocts on some stages of immunization,including the actions on T and B lymphocytes  相似文献

Experiments to investisate the effects of soman on lymphocyte proliferation werecarried out on balb/c mice,which were injected subcutaneously with soman in the doseof 154μg/kg (0.8 LD_(50)),96μg/kg (0.5 LD_(50)) and 38.4μg/kg (0.2 LD_(50)) respectively.Itwas found that from the 1st to the 7th day after poisoning with 154μg/kg soman,B-lymphocyte proliferation was severely inhibited (P<0.05),and it returned to the controllevel on the 10th day.Con A-stimulated T-cell proliferation showed a diphasic change,increasing at first and then markedly decreasing thereafter,after soman poisoning.The re-sults imply that the mitogenic response of both B- and T- cells and the primary increaseof T- cell response are closely related to the dosage of soman but not with the changes ofwhole blood cholinesterase activity.  相似文献

Objective Low or moderate consumption of red wine has a greater benefit than the consumpti on of other beverages in the prevention of atherosclerosis and coronary heart di sease and this is increasingly attributed to the polyphenol compounds in red win e, such as resveratrol. In the present study, we investigated the effect of res veratrol on platelet aggregation in vitro and in vivo. Methods Platelet aggregation in rabbits and normal subjects was measured using Born’s me thod. Results Resveratrol, at 10-1000 μmol/L, significantly inhibited platelet aggregation i n vitro induced by collagen, thrombin, and ADP in healthy subjects. The inhibit ory effect was concentration- dependent. Hypercholesterolemia induced by high- cholesterol diet enhanced ADP- induced platelet aggregation. Resveratrol 4 mg ·kg(-1)·d(-1)inhibited ADP- induced platelet aggregation in vivo de spite no changes in serum lipid levels. Conclusions Resveratrol inhibits platelet aggregation both in vitro and in vivo. This may b e one of the mechanisms by which resveratrol prevents atherosclerosis.  相似文献

In this study, to explore the radiation protection effects of Lyophyllum Decastes Sing (LDS), a hot distilled-water extract of LDS was orally administered at a dosage of 250mg/kg every other day for a period of 2 weeks in irradiated mice. An automatic blood cell counter was used to measure white blood cells (lymphocytes, monocyte, and granulocytes) one day before X-ray irradiation, and 3 hours, 12 hours, 24 hours, 3 days, 7 days, 15 days and 30 days after irradiation. The Dunnett test was used to examine statistical significance of differences. The peripheral blood cell counts in the Lyophyllum-administered non-irradiation group revealed an increase in the numbers of leukocytes, lymphocytes and monocytes. For 2 Gy whole body radiation, a significant statistical difference was found between the X-ray group and the Lyophyllum plus X-ray group in the numbers of leukocytes, lymphocytes and monocytes. The results suggest that Lyophyllum restrains blood cell-count falling after irradiation, which is probably mediated at least in part by hemopoietic function, and NK and LAK activities seems to play a role in preventing secondary infections associated with irradiation.  相似文献

Objective To study the effects of formaldehyde (FA) on spermatogenesis and testicular morphology in adult rats. Methods The rats were divided at random into two experimental groups and one control group, each comprising 10 individuals. Rats in two experimental groups were respectively exposed to FA at concentrations of 0.5mg.m^-3 and 10mg.m^-3 (12h per day) for 2 weeks. After the treatment, the testicular weight and morphology, as well as the quantity and quality of sperm were evaluated. Results compared with the control, the testicular weight, sperm count, the percentage of motile sperm significantly decreased (p〈0.05), while the percent of abnormal sperm significantly increased (p〈0.05) in rats of 10mg.m^-3 FA exposure group. Microscopy with HE staining showed that seminiferous tubules atrophy, spermatogenic cells decreased, seminiferous epithelial cells disintegrated and shed in rats of 10mg.m^-3 FA exposure group. Conclusion FA has a harmful effect on the spermatogenesis; it induces tubular atrophy and sperm abnormality at a dose-dependent manner.  相似文献
