It is often necessary to check X-ray tube voltage within the framework of quality control requirements which will soon become legally mandatory. Non-invasive methods are most suitable, but their cost and accuracy are subject to variation. The more precise the measurement of tube voltage, the costlier the measuring instrument and method of measurement will be. However, there are also relatively simple systems which will yield quite satisfactory results.  相似文献

An optimization study of IRT-Sofia BNCT beam tube is presented. In the study we used the MIT/FCB experience. The enlarging of filter/moderator cross section dimensions and the decreasing of collimator length within the limits of the IRT-Sofia reactor design were analyzed. The influence of beam and reactor core axes non-coincidence on the beam properties was also evaluated. The irradiation resistance of polytetrafluoroethylene (Teflon®) was also evaluated. The results provide information for making decisions on the IRT-Sofia BNCT beam construction.  相似文献

Image quality and radiation protection can be optimised by means of quality assurance testing in accordance with the new Federal German regulations governing the handling of x-ray equipment (functional testing and control of constancy of performance). The x-ray films of patients are examined according to quality criteria relating to the organs of which x-ray films are produced; the diagnostic pointers obtained from these x-ray films enable on-target counselling, taking into consideration the technical guidelines on the taking of x-ray films to produce best possible results.  相似文献
