Thirty-one snapping hips in 24 patients were followed for 4 (1-11) years after operation. At follow-up, snapping persisted in nine hips, in three cases accompanied by pain. The femoral neck angle was less in the patients (128 degrees) than in a control group (134 degrees). 相似文献

The paper presents an unusual case of internal snapping hip in an 18 year old female, due to abnormal iliopsoas tendon tension. Operative treatment with precision of the fibrous slip over the rim of the pelvis gave a very good result, with slight limitation of active hip flexion. Various opinions on the pathogenesis and treatment of this rare condition have been presented. Lack of snapping in a supine position during clinical assessment has been emphasized. 相似文献

Snapping hip is a polymorphous pathology the genesis of which is multifactorial, characterized by a snapping sensation which may be painful, and occurring during movement of the hip or during walking. Clinical and instrumental diagnosis for an accurate etiopathogenetic classification is essential to correct surgical treatment, that must be reserved only for cases with painful symptoms and with disorders in walking. The authors provide a classification system of the syndrome, describing four different varieties of the pathology and relative surgical treatment. 相似文献

Two cases of hip snapping in its external or lateral variety are presented. The authors review the pathogenesis of this affliction. They underline the fact that the diagnosis is primarily clinic. Further, they discuss the different therapeutic options and they propose a crosswise section of the ilio-tibial band with fixation to the great trochanter. 相似文献
