<正>Objective:To observe the effect of Yiqi Yangyin Decoction(益气养阴方,YQYYD) on the quality of life(QOL) of patients with unstable angina pectoris(UAP).Methods:A total of 108 patients with UAP of qi-yin deficiency syndrome confirmed by coronary angiography were enrolled and assigned to the treated group(treated with YQYYD and conventional therapy of Western medicine) and the control group(treated with conventional therapy of Western medicine),by the use of the PROC PLAN of the SAS 6.12 software,in a prospective, randomized,controlled design.The clinical total effective rate,symptom score,QOL scale[Seattle Angina Questionnaire(SAQ)]and incidence of important clinical events were defined as the observation indices to evaluate the interventional effect of YQYYD on the QOL of patients with UAP of the qi-yin deficiency syndrome. Results:During the study,three cases dropped out in the treated group,one case dropped out in the control group,and 104 cases,including 51 cases in the treatment group and 53 cases in the control group,finished the trial.After four weeks of treatment,the total clinical effective rates in the treated group and the control group were 80.4%and 75.5%respectively,and there was no obvious difference between them(P0.05).However,the symptom score of the treated group(9.31±2.02) was significantly lesser than that of the control group(11.62±3.04,P0.05),and the total score of the QOL scale of the treated group(68.76±5.74) was significantly higher than that of the control group(61.06±3.31,P0.01).Among those in the treated group physical limitation, angina stability,angina frequency,and treatment satisfaction were significantly ameliorated when compared with the control group after treatment(P0.05,P0.01).The incidence of important clinical events in the treated group(3.9%) was lower than that in the control group(5.7%) during the 8-month follow-up period,but the difference was insignificant(P0.05).Conclusion:YQYYD could improve the clinical symptoms of patients with UAP of qi-yin deficiency syndrome and greatly improve their QOL.  相似文献

Objective: To investigate the protective effect of Zengye Decoction(增液汤, ZYD) on the submandibular glands(SMGs) in nonobese diabetic(NOD) mice. Methods: Twenty-seven female NOD mice were randomly equally divided into 3 groups: the model group, the hydroxychloroquine(HCQ) group, and the ZYD group. Nine C57/B6 mice served as the normal group. After 1-week acclimation, the HCQ and ZYD groups were intragastrically administered with HCQ and ZYD, respectively, and the normal and model groups were administered with normal saline. Changes in the salivary flow rate were observed. Mice from all 4 groups were sacrificed at the age of 20 weeks. The serum and SMGs were collected. Serum cytokines gamma-interferon(IFN-γ), interleukin-10(IL-10) were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Histological changes in the submandibular glands were examined by hematoxylin and eosin staining. The mRNA expression of IFN-γ, IL-10 and vasoactive intestinal peptide(VIP) in the submandibular glands were measured by realtime polymerase chain reaction. Results: Compared with the model group, the salivary flow of the ZYD group significantly increased(P0.05), the extent of the histological changes was ameliorated(P0.05), and the Th1/Th2 cytokine imbalance was remedied(P0.05). In the ZYD-treated mice, the VIP mRNA was up-regulated(P0.05). Conclusions: ZYD is beneficial in protecting structure and function of SMGs in NOD mice. The mechanism may be associated with the correction of the Th1/Th2 cytokine imbalance, and with the prevention of a progressive decline of the VIP level.  相似文献

Objective:To study and evaluate the effect of Sangu Decoction(SGD,三骨汤) on the bone destruction due to mammary cancer metastasis.Methods:Metastasis rat mammary tumor-1 cells were transplanted into the left hind limb tibia of SD rats to establish the bone metastasis of the mammary cancer model.The modeled rats were treated with SGD for observing its effect on rats’ pain behavior,including 50% paw withdrawal threshold(50%PWT) after von Frey fiber stimulation,burden difference of bilateral feet,and thermal withdrawal latency(TWL),with zoledronic acid as the positive control.Moreover,the damage in the tibia sample of rats was scored by an iconographic method,and the bone mineral density(BMD) as well as the bone mineral content(BMC) were estimated.Results:The model established showed characteristics of mixed metastasis,revealing the manifestations of tumor development,bone destruction,cancerous pain,etc.In the SGD-treated group,50%PWT was prolonged(8.13±4.76 vs.2.30±2.19),and TWL was longer(3.48±0.62 s vs.2.89±0.26 s) than those in the control group,respectively(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Iconographic scoring also showed improvement of BMD(0.134±0.009 vs.0.120±0.007,P<0.01) and an elevating trend of BMC in the SGD-treated group.Conclusion:SGD could effectively alleviate the cancerous pain of bone metastasis and mitigate the metastasis that cause osteolytic destruction of bone.  相似文献

Objective:To investigate the preventive effects of Qiangzhi Decoction(羌跖汤,QZD) on influenza A pneumonia through inhibition of inflammatory cytokine storm in vivo and in vitro.Methods:One hundred ICR mice were randomly divided into the virus control,the Tamiflu control and the QZD high-,medium-,and low-dose groups.Mice were infected intranasally with influenza virus(H1N1) at 10 median lethal dose(LD_(50)).QZD and Tamiflu were administered intragastrically twice daily from day 0 to day 7 after infection.The virus control group was treated with distilled water alone under the same condition.The number of surviving mice was recorded daily for 14 days after viral infection.The histological damage and viral replication and the expression of inflammatory cytokines were monitored.Additionally,the suppression capacity on the secretion of regulated on activation normal T cells expressed and secreted(RANTES) and tumor necrosis factor- α(TNF- α) in epithelial and macrophage cell-lines were evaluated.Results:Compared with the virus control group,the survival rate of the QZD groups significantly improved in a dose-dependent manner(P0.05),the viral titers in lung tissue was inhibited(P0.05),and the production of inflammatory cytokines interferon-γ(IFN- γ),interleukin-6(IL-6),TNF- α,and intercellular adhesion molecule-1(ICAM-1) were suppressed(P0.05).Meanwhile,the secretion of RANTETS and TNF-α by epithelial and macrophage cell-lines was inhibited with the treatment of QZD respectively in vitro(P0.05).Conclusions:The preventive effects of QZD on influenza virus infection might be due to its unique cytokine inhibition mechanism.QZD may have significant therapeutic potential in combination with antiviral drugs.  相似文献

<正>Objective:To observe the efficacy of ursodeoxycholic acid(UDCA) combined with Tongdan Decoction(通胆汤) on immunological indices and histopathological changes in patients with primary biliary cirrhosis(PBC) ofⅡorⅢhistological stage.Methods:Sixty PBC patients were assigned randomly and equally to the control group treated with UDCA alone and the treatment group treated with UDCA combined with Tongdan Decoction.The immunological indices and histopathological changes were detected before and after 24-week treatment,and the follow-up lasted for 1-3 years.Results:After 24-week treatment,CD4~+CD28~- in the peripheral blood was lowered and CD4~+CD25~+ was increased in both groups,and better effect was shown in the treatment group(P0.01).The levels of IgM,IgG,and IgA decreased markedly after 96-week treatment in the treatment group(P0.05,P0.01),while in the control group,only the latter two showed significant decrease after 148 week(all P0.05).At the end of the 3-year follow-up,the medians of histopathological inflammation grading and fibrosis staging declined to a lower rank,and the effect on inflammation was superior in the treatment group to the control group shown by non-parameters Wilcoxon paired symbols test(Z = 2.761, P=0.006).Conclusion:Combined therapy of Tongdan Decoction and UDCA showed a better therapeutic effect than UDCA monotherapy on PBC,especially in improving immunological indices and histopathological hepatic changes.  相似文献

Objective:To investigate the effects of Modified Sanhuang Decoction(加味三黄汤,MSD)enema on the serum tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNF-α)and colonic mucosa interleukin-1β(IL-1β),interleukin-6(IL-6)levels in experimental ulcerative colitis(UC)rats.Methods:Forty-five male Wistar rats were randomly divided into 4 groups:normal group(n=12),model group(n=11),salazosulfapyridine(SASP)group(n=11)and MSD group(n=11).The UC model was induced by 2,4,6-trinitrobenzene sulfonic acid(TNBS)/ethanol solution.Rats in the normal group and model group were clystered with 0.9%normal saline,while in the SASP group and MSD group were clystered with SASP and MSD enema,respectively.After drug administration(10 mL/kg body weight,for 7 days),colonic gross changes and colonic mucosa histology were observed,serum TNF-αand colonic mucosa IL-1β,IL-6 levels were tested by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay and radioimmunoassay,respectively.Results:As compared with the normal group,the experimental UC rats,the colonic mucosal damage index scores(CMDIs),histopathological scores(HS)and the serum TNF-a and colonic mucosa IL-1β,IL-6 levels significantly increased(P0.05 or P0.01).In the MSD and SASP groups,the ulcer area significantly reduced,and edema disappeared.The CMDIs,HS,the serum TNF-a and colonic mucosa IL-1β,IL-6 levels in the MSD and SASP groups significantly decreased(P0.05 or P0.01)compared with the model group.The CMDIs in the MSD group were lower than that in the SASP group(P0.05),but there were no significant differences in HS,serum TNF-αor colonic mucosa IL-1β,IL-6 levels between the MSD and SASP groups.Conclusion:MSD enema can improve colonic mucosa impairment and decrease serum TNF-αand colonic mucosa IL-1β,IL-6 levels in experimental UC.  相似文献

Objective:To study the angiogenesis modulation mechanism of Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction(血府逐瘀汤) on the endothelial cell line ECV304.Methods:ECV304 cells were treated with 2.5%Xuefu Zhuyu Decoctioncontaining serum(XFZYD-CS) for 24 h,48 h or 72 h.Thiazolyl blue tetrazolium bromide(MTT),fluorescence activating cell sorter(FACS),migration,adhesion and in vitro tube formation assays were conducted to confirm an angiogenesis effect of XFZYD at 3 time points.An analysis of angiogenesis regulator profiles was performed at 3 times with real-time polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR) superarray.Results:At 48 h,XFZYD-CS induced ECV304 significantly improved cell viability,number in S phase,migration,adhesion and tube formation.At 24 h and 72 h, only cell migration was elevated.Microarray results showed that the expression of 27 angiogenesis-related genes was changed.Conclusion:XFZYD-CS treatment induced angiogenesis on ECV304 cells with significant cellcular changes occurring at 48 h and genetic changes as early as 24 h.  相似文献

<正>Objective:To examine the effect of a Chinese medicinal herbal formula(Feitai Capsule,肺泰胶囊) on the quality of life(QOL) and progression-free survival(PFS) of patients with unresectable non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Methods:Sixty-two patients were randomly divided into the treatment group(31 cases) and the control group(31 cases).For the treatment group,4 capsules(1.2 g/capsule) of Feitai Capsule were administered 3 times a day after meals for 3 weeks;then no drug was administered for 1 week.This schedule was continued for at least 3 more cycles(12 weeks totally).If there were no obvious toxic reactions,the treatment was extended.The patients were evaluated at least once every 8 weeks until progressive disease(PD). For the control group,the regular follow-up and evaluation were performed at least once every 8 weeks until PD.Clinical symptoms,objective response,physical constitution and energy,QOL,and PFS were evaluated regularly.Analysis of variance(ANOVA),a non-parametric test,and analysis of covariance were used to compare clinical features,amelioration of clinical symptoms,physical constitution and energy,and QOL.Kaplan-Meier analysis was used to compare the two-group PFS.Results:Sixty patients finished the final evaluation, with 30 patients in each group.Baseline characters between groups were not significantly different(P0.05). The control group had a 36.7%improvement in clinical symptoms,while the treatment group had a 73.3% improvement.This difference was statistically significant(Z=-2.632,P=0.008).The control group had a 26.7% improvement in the Karnofsky performance status(KPS),while the treatment group had a 53.4%improvement. This was also significantly different(Z=-2.182,P=0.029).A comparative analysis indicated a positive correlation (r=0.917,P0.001).Compared with the control group,QOL in the treatment group was significantly improved, except in the social/family condition and doctor-patient relationship indicators.The PFS of the treatment group and control group were 6.23 months and 4.67 months,respectively(P=0.048).Conclusion:Feitai Capsule,a Chinese medicinal herbal treatment could improve the QOL and extend the PFS of the unresectable NSCLC patients.  相似文献

Objective:To observe the effect of Chinese herbal medicine for calming Gan(肝) and suppressing hyperactive yang(平肝潜阳,CGSHY) on arterial elasticity function and the circadian rhythm of blood pressure in patients with essential hypertension(EH).Methods:Adopting a parallel,randomized design,sixty-four patients with EH of stagesⅠandⅡwere randomly divided into two groups according to a random number table,with 32 in each group.The patients in the treatment group were treated with CGSHY and those in the control group were treated with Enalapril.All patients were given 24-h ambulatory blood pressure monitoring(ABPM) before and after a 12-week treatment.Trough/peak(T/P) ratios of systolic and diastolic blood pressure(SBP & DBP) of each group were calculated.The circadian rhythm of their blood pressure was observed at the same time. The changes in elasticity of the carotid artery in the patients,including stiffness parameter(β),pressure-strain elastic modulus(Ep),arterial compliance(AC),augmentation index(Al),and pulse wave velocity(PVWβ) were determined by the echo-tracking technique before and after a 12-week treatment.In the meantime,their levels of nitric oxide(NO) and endothelin-1(ET-1) were measured respectively.Results:After treatment,all parameters in the 24-h ABPM and the elasticity of the carotid artery(β,Ep,AC and PVWβ) were markedly improved,the level of NO was increased,and ET-1 was decreased in both groups as compared with values before treatment (P<0.05 or P<0.01).Further,the improvements in the ratio of T/P of SBP & DBP and in the level of NO and ET-1 in the treatment group were more significant than those in the control group(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in all parameters in the ABPM monitoring and the elasticity of the carotid artery,the recovery of blood pressure circadian rhythm,and the therapeutic effect of antihypertension in EH patients between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusions:Chinese herbal medicine for CGSHY may lower the blood pressure smoothly and recover the circadian rhythm of blood pressure in EH patients.They may also improve the carotid elasticity of EH patients similar to that of Enalapril.The mechanism of action of Chinese herbs on EH might be related to the regulation of vascular endothelium function.  相似文献

Objective: To investigate the effect of Qiguiyin Decoction (芪归银方, QGYD) on multidrug-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection in Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats. Methods: A pseudomonal infection model in SD rats was established by injecting multidrug-resistant P. aeruginosa intraperitoneally. Infected rats were randomized into four groups treated with Pure water, QGYD, ceftazidime, or combined QGYD and ceftazidime. Blood samples were obtained from the abdominal aorta. Serum was then collected and analyzed by peptide array for immune responsiveness to multidrug-resistant beta-lactamase proteins, including Verona integronencoded metallo-beta-lactamase 1 (VIM-1), Sao Paulo metallo-beta-lactamase 1 (SPM-1), and Temoniera (TEMs). Blood levels of interleukin-1β (IL-1β), interleukin-4 (IL-4), and interferon-γ (IFN-γ) were assessed by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Results: QGYD enhanced antibody reactivity against VIM-1 [epitopes 7–11 and 36–40] and TEM-1 [epitopes 26–27, 52–55, and 66–70]. QGYD treatment restored the compromised antibody reactivity against VIM-1 [epitopes 53–54 and 56–58] and SPM-1 [epitopes 16–19 and 82–85] following pseudomonal infection. Serum levels of IL-1β and Th1/Th2 in the rats were significantly elevated following pseudomonal infection (P<0.05 or P<0.01). In contrast, QGYD and combination QGYD and ceftazidime treatment restored the elevated serum IL-1β and Th1/Th2 levels to normal (P>0.05). Conclusions: QGYD improves the immune response to pseudomonal infection in rats by stimulating the production of protective antibodies against drug-resistant proteins VIM-1, SPM-1, and TEM-1. In addition, it protects the immune system and maintains immune responsiveness by restoring IL-1β and Th1/Th2 levels.  相似文献

Objective: To observe the therapeutic efficacy of Xiaopi-Ⅰ(消痞Ⅰ号) on functional dyspepsia and its effects on gastric emptying. Methods: A total of 134 patients with functional dyspepsia were randomly assigned to 2 groups. The patients in the Xiaopi-Ⅰ group (66 cases) and the Domperidone group (68 cases) were given Xiaopi-Ⅰ granules and Domperidone 10 mg, 3 times a day, respectively. Another 20 healthy volunteers were chosen as the negative control group. The severity scores of the symptoms, as well as the gastric emptying, were detected before and after 4-week treatment by barium strip-trial meal. Results: During therapy, 6 cases from the Xiaopi-Ⅰ group and 8 cases from the Domperidone group were lost to follow, and 120 cases finally finished the study. Statistical differences were observed from both groups in terms of the symptoms of postprandial fullness early satiety, epigastric pain, and epigastric burning after 4-week treatment (P<0.01). The symptomatic severity scores of the Xiaopi-Ⅰ group before and after the treatment were 7.48±1.64 and 2.16±1.26, respectively (P<0.01). Gastric emptying rates were also improved in the patients with delayed gastric emptying, and the effective rates were 91.3% and 75.8% in the Xiaopi-Ⅰ and Domperidone groups, respectively. No obvious adverse effects were found from both groups. Conclusion: Xiaopi-Ⅰ was an effective and safe agent in the treatment of functional dyspepsia and was worth of further development in clinical.  相似文献

Objective: To investigate the serum protein targets of Qianggu Decoction (强骨饮, QGD) on treating osteoporosis by the proteomics analysis using tandem mass tag (TMT) and liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS). Methods: Twenty serum protein samples were recruited (10 patients with primary type Ⅰ osteoporosis before and after QGD treatment) and the high abundance ratios protein was removed, two serum samples were extracted and labeled with TMT reagent. Then, mass spectrometric detection, identification of differentially expressed proteins and bioinformatics analysis of differentially expressed proteins were carried out. Results: A total of 60 proteins were identified, within a 99% confidence interval, to be differentially regulated of which, 34 proteins were up-regulated and 26 proteins were down-regulated. Differentially expressed proteins analyzed by Gene Ontology (GO) annotation mainly get involved in 12 different biological processes, 7 types of cellular components, and 6 kinds of molecular functions. Angiotensinogen (AGT), stromelysin-1 (MMP3), heparanase (HPSE) and glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (GAPDH) were screened as candidate protein targets of QGD treatment, which were related to metabolic mechanism of bone remodeling and/or bone collagen of osteoporosis. By the utilization of the protein-protein interaction network analysis tool named STRING10.0, it showed that AGT, MMP3, HPSE and GAPDH were located in the key node of the protein-protein interactions network. Furthermore, AGT, MMP3, HPSE and GAPDH were found to be directly related to BMP, MAPK, Wnt, SMAD and tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily member 11 (TNFSF11) families. Conclusions: The proteomics analysis by using TMT combined with LC-MS/MS was a feasible method for screening the potential therapeutic targets associated with QGD treatment. It suggests that AGT, MMP3, HPSE and GAPDH may be candidate protein targets of QGD treatment which can be used as therapeutic effect monitor and early diagnosis of primary type Ⅰ osteoporosis.  相似文献
