A population-based case-control study of oral and pharyngeal cancer was conducted in Shanghai, China, from 1988 to 1990, in which 204 (115 male, 89 female) incident cases and 414 (269 male, 145 female) controls were interviewed. Cigarette smoking and alcohol consumption, as well as occupational exposures to asbestos and to petroleum products and the use of kerosene stoves in cooking, were associated with increased risk of oral and pharyngeal cancer. In addition, more cases than controls reported having chronic oral diseases and false teeth. Dietary intakes of 42 major foods and selected salt-preserved or deep-fried foods during the past 10 years, ignoring any recent changes, were measured by a structured quantitative food questionnaire. After adjusting for known etiological factors, risks decreased with increasing intake of fruits, particularly oranges and tangerines, and some vegetables, including dark yellow vegetables and Chinese white radish. Men in the highest tertile of intake of these fruits and vegetables had about 30-50% the risk of those in the lowest tertile, with a less pronounced effect among women. A new finding was an excess risk associated with high consumption of salt-preserved meat and fish. The findings from this study provide further evidence that dietary factors play an important role in the development of oral and pharyngeal cancer.  相似文献

We used longitudinal mortality data sets for the 1990s to compare socioeconomic inequalities in total cancer mortality between women and men aged 30-74 in 12 different European populations (Madrid, Basque region, Barcelona, Slovenia, Turin, Switzerland, France, Belgium, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland) and to investigate which cancer sites explain the differences found. We measured socioeconomic status using educational level and computed relative indices of inequality (RII). We observed large variations within Europe for educational differences in total cancer mortality among men and women. Three patterns were observed: Denmark, Norway and Sweden (significant RII around 1.3-1.4 among both men and women); France, Switzerland, Belgium and Finland (significant RII around 1.7-1.8 among men and around 1.2 among women); Spanish populations, Slovenia and Turin (significant RII from 1.29 to 1.88 among men; no differences among women except in the Basque region, where RII is significantly lower than 1). Lung, upper aerodigestive tract and breast cancers explained most of the variations between gender and populations in the magnitude of inequalities in total cancer mortality. Given time trends in cancer mortality, the gap in the magnitude of socioeconomic inequalities in cancer mortality between gender and between European populations will probably decrease in the future.  相似文献

We examined the relation between dietary fruit and vegetables, carotenoids and vitamin intakes and the risk of bladder cancer among male smokers in a prospective cohort study. Over a median of 11 years, we followed 27 111 male smokers aged 50-69 years who were initially enrolled in the Alpha-Tocopherol Beta-Carotene Cancer Prevention Study. During this period, 344 men developed bladder cancer. All of these men had completed a 276-food item dietary questionnaire at baseline. Cox proportional hazards models were used to estimate the relative risks and 95% confidence intervals and to simultaneously adjust for age, smoking history, energy intake and intervention group. Consumption of fruits and vegetables was not associated with the risk of bladder cancer (relative risk=1.28; 95% confidence intervals CI: 0.89-1.84, for highest vs lowest quintile). Similarly, no associations were observed for groups of fruits or vegetables (berries and cruciferous vegetables), or for specific fruits and vegetables. Dietary intakes of alpha-carotene, beta-carotene, lycopene, lutein/zeaxanthin, beta-cryptoxanthin, vitamins A, E, and C, and folate were not related to the risk of bladder cancer. These findings suggest that fruit and vegetable intakes are not likely to be associated with bladder cancer risk. However, these results may not be generalisable to non-smokers.  相似文献

Epidemiologic studies demonstrate increased cancer incidence among workers exposed to polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) and metals, probably through cumulative oxidative DNA damage in response to carcinogens. Boilermakers are exposed to particulates of residual oil fly ash (ROFA) and metal fume that contain carcinogenic PAH and metals. We conducted a repeated-measures cohort study in boilermakers during the overhaul of an oil-fired boiler to determine a possible association between the level of 8-hydroxy-2'-deoxyguanosine (8-OH-dG; an oxidative injury biomarker) and biomarkers of PAH (1-hydroxypyrene; 1-OHP) and metal exposure. Preshift and postshift urine samples were analyzed for 8-OH-dG, cotinine, 1-OHP, and metals. Generalized estimating equations were used to model the multivariate relationship of 8-OH-dG to the explanatory variables of interest. Biomarker levels were determined for 181 urine samples from 20 male subjects (mean age 45 years, 50% smokers). Metal and 1-OHP levels increased cross-week and were affected by smoking status. Levels of 8-OH-dG were higher in nonsmokers at the start of the workweek yet declined after occupational exposure to similar levels as in smokers. Multivariate analysis indicated that metal x cotinine interaction terms for nickel, vanadium, chromium, and copper were significantly associated with the 8-OH-dG level, but there were differential effects depending on the metal. This study suggests that oxidative DNA damage in boilermakers is influenced by the interaction between occupational exposures and smoking status. In addition, boilermakers may have reduced ability to repair damaged DNA after ROFA and metal fume exposure. This finding has clinical relevance because these exposures may increase the cancer susceptibility of boilermakers.  相似文献

We conducted a population-based study of diet and lung cancer among the multiethnic population of Hawaii in 1983-1985. We completed interviews for 230 men and 102 women with lung cancer and 597 men and 268 women controls, frequency-matched to the patients by age and sex. A quantitative dietary history assessed the usual intake of foods rich in vitamins A and C and carotenoids. A clear dose-dependent negative association was demonstrated between dietary beta-carotene and lung cancer risk in both sexes. After adjusting for smoking and other covariates, the men in the lowest quartile of beta-carotene intake had an odds ratio of 1.9 (95% confidence interval, 1.1-3.2) compared to those in the highest quartile of intake. The corresponding odds ratio for women was 2.7 (95% confidence interval, 1.2-6.1). No clear association was found for retinol, vitamin C, folic acid, iron, dietary fiber, or fruits. All vegetables, dark green vegetables, cruciferous vegetables, and tomatoes showed stronger inverse associations with risk than beta-carotene. This observation suggests that other constituents of vegetables, such as lutein, lycopene, and indoles, and others, may also protect against lung cancer in humans.  相似文献

Dietary patterns and risk of pancreatic cancer   总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4  
To investigate associations between broad dietary patterns and pancreatic cancer risk, we conducted a case-control study of 585 histologically confirmed pancreatic cancer cases and 4,779 population-based controls in 8 Canadian provinces between 1994 and 1997. Dietary intake was assessed using a FFQ. Major dietary patterns were identified by factor analysis. Unconditional logistic regression was used to describe associations between dietary pattern scores and risk of pancreatic cancer. Three dietary patterns were identified: Western, characterized by high intake of processed meats, sweets and desserts, refined grains and potatoes; fruits and vegetables, characterized by high intake of fresh fruits and cruciferous vegetables; drinker, characterized by high consumption of liquor, wine and beer. After adjustment for age, BMI, smoking, physical activity, province, educational attainment and total energy intake, the fruits and vegetables pattern was associated with a 49% reduction in pancreatic risk among men (OR = 0.51, 95% CI 0.29-0.90, p = 0.004) when comparing the highest and lowest quartiles of dietary pattern scores. No significant relationship was observed with the Western and drinker patterns. Although the response rate for eligible, recruited subjects was relatively low, our results suggest that the fruits and vegetables dietary pattern reduces pancreatic cancer risk among men.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: Diets high in fruits and vegetables have been shown to be associated with a lower risk of lung cancer. beta-Carotene was hypothesized to be largely responsible for the apparent protective effect, but this hypothesis was not supported by clinical trials. METHODS: We examined the association between lung cancer risk and fruit and vegetable consumption in 77 283 women in the Nurses' Health Study and 47 778 men in the Health Professionals' Follow-up Study. Diet was assessed with the use of a food-frequency questionnaire that included 15 fruits and 23 vegetables. We used logistic regression models to estimate relative risks (RRs) of lung cancer within each cohort. All statistical tests were two-sided. RESULTS: We documented 519 lung cancer cases among the women and 274 among the men. Total fruit and vegetable consumption was associated with a modestly lower risk of lung cancer among the women but not among the men. The RR for the highest versus lowest quintile of intake was 0.79 (95% confidence interval [CI] = 0.59-1.06) among the women and 1.12 (95% CI = 0.74-1.69) among the men after adjustment for smoking status, quantity of cigarettes smoked per day, time since quitting smoking, and age at initiation of smoking. However, total fruit and vegetable consumption was associated with a lower risk of lung cancer among never smokers in the combined cohorts, although the reduction was not statistically significant (RR = 0.63; 95% CI = 0.35-1.12 in the highest tertile). CONCLUSION: Higher fruit and vegetable intakes were associated with lower risks of lung cancer in women but not in men. It is possible that the inverse association among the women remained confounded by unmeasured smoking characteristics, although fruits and vegetables were protective in both men and women who never smoked.  相似文献

A high consumption of fruit and vegetables reduces the risk of several types of cancer. There is little information on the association between dietary intake and mesothelioma. A hospital-based case-control study of 94 men and women with malignant mesothelioma and 64 control patients without cancer was conducted to determine the odds associated with consumption of carotenoid-containing fruits and vegetables. After statistical adjustment for occupational asbestos exposure, the odds ratio was 0.2 [95% confidence interval (CI) 0.1-0.8] for carrot consumption and 0.5 (95% CI 0.2-1.4) for tomato consumption. However, the frequency of consuming other foods that have a high vitamin A or carotenoid content was not associated with a decreased risk of cancer. These results provide some justification for the hypothesis that provitamin A or beta-carotene may decrease the risk of mesothelioma. The body mass index was unrelated to the risk of mesothelioma.  相似文献

Occupational risk factors for laryngeal cancer on the Texas Gulf Coast   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Analyses are reported from a case-control interview study of incident laryngeal cancer on the Gulf Coast of Texas. Study subjects were 183 white men with squamous cell carcinoma of the larynx and 250 frequency matched controls. Occupational exposures were examined controlling for potential confounding by cigarette smoking and alcohol consumption. Significantly elevated risks were seen for men employed in the public services industry [transportation, communication, utilities, sanitary service; relative risk (RR), 1.6]; in metal fabricating (RR, 2.1), construction (RR, 1.7), and maintenance (RR, 2.7) occupations; and for workers potentially exposed to paint (RR, 1.8) and diesel or gasoline fumes (RR, 1.5). Elevated risks of border-line significance were seen for men employed as woodworkers/furniture makers (RR, 8.1) and for those with occupational exposure to asbestos (RR, 1.5). When asbestos was categorized by intensity of exposure, a significant positive gradient was found.  相似文献

Objective To examine the association between occupational class, occupational mobility and cancer incidence in the 1990s.Methods Prospective study of 14,853 men and 5493 women employed by a large French company. Incident cases (any cancer, smoking and alcohol-related, breast) were ascertained through a validated company-based cancer registry (1990–2002). Hazard ratios (HRs) by occupational class and by career-long occupational mobility were calculated adjusting for age, marital status, tobacco and alcohol consumption, weight, diet, asbestos exposure, family history of cancer, and reproductive history.Results 359 male cancers (107 smoking and alcohol-related) and 208 female cases (120 breast cancers) were observed. Male clerks and manual workers were at high risk, particularly of smoking and alcohol-related cancers (compared to managers, age-adjusted HRs: 2.95 95% CI 1.37–6.38 and 2.18 95% CI 1.15–4.11). Adjusting for specific health behaviors and other cancer risk factors reduced this gradient (fully-adjusted HRs respectively 1.95 95% CI 0.89–4.27 and 1.54 95% CI 0.80–2.97). The risk was also associated with occupational mobility. We found no association between women’s occupational class and cancer.Conclusion The incidence of smoking and alcohol-related cancers among French men shows a strong socioeconomic gradient. BACKGROUND: Variation in the glutathione S-transferase (GSTP1) gene and occupational polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) exposure are putative prostate cancer risk factors. An Ile/Val polymorphism in codon 105 of GSTP1 affects its enzymatic activity toward PAH detoxification, a possible mechanism in prostate carcinogenesis. METHODS: To determine whether the GSTP1 Ile105Val polymorphism modifies prostate cancer risk associated with occupational PAH exposure, we studied 637 prostate cancer cases and 244 controls of White and African-American race from the Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan. Occupational exposure to PAH from wood, petroleum, coal or other sources through respiratory and cutaneous routes was retrospectively assessed by expert review of job histories. The association of occupational PAH exposure and GSTP1 Ile105Val polymorphism with prostate cancer was tested in multiple logistic regression models adjusting for potential confounders. Cases were over sampled compared with controls to evaluate gene-environment interaction with the statistically efficient case-only analytic approach. RESULTS: Neither carriage of the GSTP1 Val(105) variant allele nor occupational PAH exposure was significantly associated with prostate cancer. However, case-only analyses revealed that carriage of the GSTP1 Val(105) variant allele was associated with increasing levels of occupational respiratory PAH exposures from any source and from petroleum (trend test p=0.01 for both). The GSTP1 Val(105) allele was observed most frequently in cases in the highest quartile of occupational respiratory PAH exposures from petroleum (OR=1.74; 95% CI=1.11-2.72) or from any source (OR=1.85; 95% CI=1.19-2.89). The gene-environment risk estimate in the highest PAH petroleum exposure quartile was greatest in men under age 60 (OR=4.52; 95% CI=1.96-10.41) or with a positive family history of prostate cancer (OR=3.02; 95% CI=1.15-7.92). CONCLUSIONS: Our results suggest men who carry the GSTP1 Val(105) variant and are exposed at high levels to occupational PAH have increased risk for prostate cancer. This increased risk is more pronounced in men under age 60 or with a family history of prostate cancer.  相似文献

We aim to study socioeconomic inequalities in alcohol related cancers mortality [upper aerodigestive tract (UADT) (oral cavity, pharynx, larynx, oesophagus and liver)] in men and to investigate whether the contribution of these cancers to socioeconomic inequalities in cancer mortality differs within Western Europe. We used longitudinal mortality datasets, including causes of death. Data were collected during the 1990s among men aged 30-74 years in 13 European populations [Madrid, the Basque region, Barcelona, Turin, Switzerland (German and Latin part), France, Belgium (Walloon and Flemish part, Brussels), Norway, Sweden, Finland]. Socioeconomic status was measured using the educational level declared at the census at the beginning of the follow-up period. We conducted Poisson regression analyses and used both relative [Relative index of inequality (RII)] and absolute (mortality rates difference) measures of inequality. For UADT cancers, the RII's were above 3.5 in France, Switzerland (both parts) and Turin whereas for liver cancer they were the highest (around 2.5) in Madrid, France and Turin. The contribution of alcohol related cancer to socioeconomic inequalities in cancer mortality was 29-36% in France and the Spanish populations, 17-23% in Switzerland and Turin, and 5-15% in Belgium and the Nordic countries. We did not observe any correlation between mortality rates differences for lung and UADT cancers, confirming that the pattern found for UADT cancers is not only due to smoking. This study suggests that alcohol use substantially influences socioeconomic inequalities in male cancer mortality in France, Spain and Switzerland but not in the Nordic countries and nor in Belgium.  相似文献

The relationships between cigarette smoking, occupational exposures, dietary vitamin A and lung cancer is explored in a case-control study. The study is based on 1002 primary lung cancers among white men and 1119 white male controls between 35 and 79 years of age admitted to Roswell Park Memorial Institute from 1957 to 1965. Four hundred sixty-four lung cancer cases were classified as one of the three major histologic cell types: squamous, small cell, or adenocarcinoma. Each of the three main histologic types displayed a statistically significant trend of increasing risk associated with increasing consumption of cigarettes with the strongest relationship being seen for small cell carcinoma (odds ratio for 40+ pack-years = 17.5) and the weakest with adenocarcinoma (odds ratio for 40+ pack-years = 6.7). Increasing risk for squamous cell cancer was seen with increasing duration of exposure to all lung carcinogens, asbestos, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Small cell carcinomas were not associated with any of the occupational exposure categories studied with the exception of asbestos exposure in light smokers. Increasing risk of adenocarcinoma was seen with increasing duration of employment in occupations with potential exposure, but only for light smokers. Dietary vitamin A consumption did not confound the occupational associations. Hypotheses have been generated regarding interplay of risk factors in the etiology of different histologic subtypes of lung cancer. Studies of specific histologic types of lung cancer are needed to elucidate the role of various environmental and occupational risk factors.  相似文献

Dietary fat, cholesterol and colorectal cancer in a prospective study   总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4  
The relationships between consumption of total fat, major dietary fatty acids, cholesterol, consumption of meat and eggs, and the incidence of colorectal cancers were studied in a cohort based on the Finnish Mobile Clinic Health Examination Survey. Baseline (1967-1972) information on habitual food consumption over the preceding year was collected from 9959 men and women free of diagnosed cancer. A total of 109 new colorectal cancer cases were ascertained late 1999. High cholesterol intake was associated with increased risk for colorectal cancers. The relative risk between the highest and lowest quartiles of dietary cholesterol was 3.26 (95% confidence interval 1.54-6.88) after adjusting for age, sex, body mass index, occupation, smoking, geographic region, energy intake and consumption of vegetables, fruits and cereals. Consumption of total fat and intake of saturated, monounsaturated, or polyunsaturated fatty acids were not significantly associated with colorectal cancer risk. Nonsignificant associations were found between consumption of meat and eggs and colorectal cancer risk. The results of the present study indicate that high cholesterol intake may increase colorectal cancer risk, but do not suggest the presence of significant effects of dietary fat intake on colorectal cancer incidence.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: Previous epidemiologic studies of fruit and vegetable intake and bladder cancer risk have yielded inconsistent results, especially with regard to the types of fruits and vegetables consumed. We examined total fruit and vegetable intake, as well as intakes of subtypes of fruits and vegetables, in relation to bladder cancer risk in a large male prospective cohort study. METHODS: Two hundred fifty-two cases of incident bladder cancer were diagnosed from 1986 through January 31, 1996, among 47,909 men enrolled in the Health Professionals Follow-up Study. Each participant in this cohort completed a 131-item food-frequency questionnaire in 1986 and subsequently in 1990 and 1994. We used logistic regression analyses to examine fruit and vegetable intake in relation to bladder cancer risk, after adjusting for age, history of cigarette smoking, current smoking status, geographic region, total fluid intake, and caloric intake. RESULTS: We observed a weak, inverse association that was not statistically significant between total fruit and vegetable intake and bladder cancer risk. Intake of cruciferous vegetables was inversely associated with risk (relative risk = 0.49; 95% confidence interval = 0.32-0.75, for the highest category of cruciferous vegetable intake compared with the lowest), but intakes of yellow or green leafy vegetables or carotenoid-rich vegetables were not associated with risk. Individual cruciferous vegetables, except for coleslaw, were all inversely related to bladder cancer risk, but only the associations for broccoli and cabbage were statistically significant. CONCLUSIONS: Data from this study indicate that high cruciferous vegetable consumption may reduce bladder cancer risk, but other vegetables and fruits may not confer appreciable benefits against this cancer.  相似文献

A cohort of 11,580 residents of a retirement community initially free from cancer were followed from 1981 to 1989. A total of 1,335 incident cancer cases were diagnosed during the period. Relative risks of cancer were calculated for baseline consumption of vegetables, fruits, beta-carotene, dietary vitamin C, and vitamin supplements. After adjustment for age and smoking, no evidence of a protective effect was found for any of the dietary variables in men. However, an inverse association was observed between vitamin C supplement use and bladder cancer risk. In women, reduced cancer risks of all sites combined and of the colon were noted for combined intake of all vegetables and fruits, fruit intake alone, and dietary vitamin C. Supplemental use of vitamins A and C showed a protective effect on colon cancer risk in women. There was some suggestion that beta-carotene intake and supplemental use of vitamin A, C, and E were associated with reduced risk of lung cancer in women, but none of these results were statistically significant. These inverse associations observed in women seem to warrant further investigation, although there was inconsistency in results between the sexes.  相似文献

Fruit and vegetable consumption has been inconsistently associated with risk of bladder cancer. We used data from a prospective population-based cohort study of 82,002 Swedish women and men to examine the association between fruit and vegetable consumption and bladder cancer incidence. Diet was assessed with a validated food frequency questionnaire. During a mean follow-up of 9.4 years, 485 incident cases of bladder cancer were identified in the Swedish cancer registries. We found no statistically significant association between intakes of total fruits and vegetables, total fruits, or total vegetables and bladder cancer risk after adjustment for age, sex, education, and cigarette smoking. The multivariate rate ratios (95% confidence intervals) comparing the highest with the lowest quartile of intake were 0.80 (0.60-1.05) for total fruits and vegetables, 0.93 (0.69-1.25) for fruits, and 0.89 (0.67-1.19) for vegetables. Likewise, no associations were observed for citrus fruits, cruciferous vegetables, or green leafy vegetables. The associations did not differ by sex or smoking status. In conclusion, findings from this prospective study suggest that fruit and vegetable intakes are not likely to be appreciably associated with the risk of bladder cancer.  相似文献

Smoking-adjusted incidence of lung cancer by occupation among Norwegian men   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
OBJECTIVE: To use aggregated data on smoking habits and lung cancer incidence in occupations assumed to carry no lung cancer risk to control for confounding in other occupational groups. METHODS: Lung cancer incidence was observed from 1971 to 1991 for 53 occupational groups and a group of economically inactive men in a national cohort study. Data on occupation and smoking habits were collected from national surveys during 1965-1980. The relationship between smoking habits and lung cancer incidence was estimated on aggregated level using data from 12 occupational groups that were initially assumed not to be exposed to occupational lung carcinogens. The estimated relationship was used to control confounding from smoking in the other groups. The results were presented as smoking-adjusted incidence ratios. RESULTS: A significant excess risk was found for 26 groups. It was estimated that about 20% of all lung cancer among men could be related to occupation after adjusting for the effect of smoking. CONCLUSIONS: Our method provided a clearer picture of the occupational risk and could be useful in other situations where individual information on smoking habits is lacking.  相似文献

The relationship of lung cancer risk to cigarette smoking, occupational exposure, air pollution at permanent residence and usual frequency of consumption of fruits and vegetables was analysed in a case-control study in Cracow, Poland. The cases were 176 male lung cancer patients diagnosed in 1992-1994 with histological confirmation of the diagnosis, obtained from the population-based Cracow Cancer Registry, and 341 controls randomly selected from the general population. Classification of exposure to outside air pollution was based on measured level of total suspended particular matter and sulphur dioxide by particular districts of town (from 1973 to 1980). Except calculation of odds ratios for male lung cancer associated with exposures among all study subjects, the association between lung cancer risk and frequency of consumption of fruit and vegetables was examined among drinkers of vodka above average. Risk of lung cancer was increased significantly with increasing number of pack-years of smoking (OR = 18.7 for more than 40 pack-years). The significant inverse association of frequent usual consumption of boiled vegetables was present both among all subjects and among vodka drinkers (OR = 4.6 and 12.5, respectively, for a rare consumption). The risk of male lung cancer was negatively associated with the level of air pollution but positively with the percentage of occupationally exposed. Our study provides no evidence of a significant harmful effect of air pollution and found a strong inverse association between frequent fruit and vegetables consumption and lung cancer risk.  相似文献

There is an unexplained male predominance among patients with gastric cancer, and many carcinogens are found in male-dominated dusty occupations. However, the relation between occupational exposures and risk of gastric cancer remains unclear. To investigate whether airborne occupational exposures might influence the risk of noncardia gastric cancer, we used a large, prospective cohort study of male Swedish construction workers. These workers were, during the period 1971-1993, regularly invited to health examinations by a nationwide occupational health service organization. Data on job titles and other variables were collected through self-administered questionnaires and forms completed by the health organization's staff. Industrial hygienists assessed 12 specific airborne occupational exposures for 200 job titles. Gastric cancer, death or emigration occurring during follow-up in 1971-2002 were identified by linkage to the Swedish registers of Cancer, Causes of Death and Total Population, respectively. Incidence rate ratios (IRR) and 95% confidence intervals (CI), adjusted for attained age, tobacco smoking, calendar period and body mass, were derived from Cox regression. Among 256,357 cohort members, contributing 5,378,012 person-years at risk, 948 noncardia gastric cancers were identified. Increased risk of this tumor was found among workers exposed to cement dust (IRR 1.5 [95% CI 1.1-2.1]), quartz dust (IRR 1.3 [95% CI 1.0-1.7]) and diesel exhaust (IRR 1.4 [95% CI 1.1-1.9]). Dose-response relations were observed for these exposures. No consistent positive associations were found regarding exposure to asbestos, asphalt fumes, concrete dust, epoxy resins, isocyanates, metal fumes, mineral fibers, organic solvents or wood dust. In conclusion, this study provides some support to the hypothesis that specific airborne exposures increase the risk of noncardia gastric cancer.  相似文献
