New antibiotics, agglomerins A, B, C and D, were isolated from the culture broth of a bacterial strain identified as Enterobacter agglomerans. These antibiotics are acidic in nature and their sodium salts are obtained as colorless crystalline powders, soluble in lower alcohols. All the antibiotics shows characteristic UV maxima at 248 and 298 nm. Molecular formulas: A, C15H21O4Na; B, C17H23O4Na; C, C17H25O4Na and D, C19H27O4Na; were indicated by elemental analysis and MS. These antibiotics are active against a wide variety of anaerobic bacteria and weakly against aerobic Gram-positive bacteria in vitro. 相似文献

New antibiotics, PA-46101 A and B, were isolated from the culture broth of a Streptomycete. The molecular formulae of A and B were determined to be C52H70O18 and C61H86O22, respectively, by elemental analyses, NMR and mass spectrometry. Their structures were elucidated by X-ray crystallography and NMR spectroscopy. These antibiotics are active in vitro against anaerobic Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria and also against a limited number of aerobic Gram-positive bacteria. 相似文献

Two peptide antibiotics katanosins A and B were isolated from the culture broth of a strain related to the genus Cytophaga. These antibiotics are basic peptides soluble in aqueous alcohols. The molecular formulae C57H95N15O17 for A and C58H97N15O17 for B were indicated. The constituent amino acids of katanosin A are suggested to be Thr (1), Ser (1), Val (1), Leu (3), Arg (1) and three unusual amino acids. In katanosin B, the Val residue is replaced by Ile. Katanosins A and B are active against Gram-positive bacteria in vitro and in vivo. 相似文献

New antibiotics, resorcinomycins A and B, were isolated from the culture broth of a streptomycete strain identified as Streptoverticillium roseoverticillatum. The antibiotics are water-soluble amphoteric substances, positive to SAKAGUCHI'S reagent. The molecular formulas C14H20N4O5 and C13H18N4O5 for A and B were indicated by elemental analysis and secondary ion MS. The structures of these antibiotics were determined by 1H and 13C NMR spectrometry and some chemical evidences to be N-[(S)-alpha-guanidino-3,5-dihydroxy-4-isopropylphenylacetyl]glyci ne and N-[(S)-alpha-guanidino-3,5-dihydroxy-4-ethylphenylacetyl]-glycine, respectively. 相似文献

New thiol protease inhibitors, estatins A and B, were isolated from the culture filtrate of Myceliophthora thermophila M4323. The basic, water-soluble inhibitors were characterized as having an agmatine, trans-epoxysuccinic acid and L-phenylalanine or L-tyrosine moieties in the structure. The molecular formulas C18H25N5O5 and C18H25N5O6 for A and B were indicated by elemental analysis and fast atom bombardment MS. Estatins were specific inhibitors against thiol proteases such as papain, ficin and bromelain. They suppressed IgE antibody production in mice, but not IgG. 相似文献
