奉贤地区HBsAg阴性的HBV自然感染母亲对新生儿影响的研究   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
目的 为揭示HBsAg阴性的乙型肝炎病毒 (HBV)自然感染孕妇的宫内感染及其危险因素。方法 采用多聚酶链反应 (PCR)技术结合酶联免疫吸附法 (ELISA) ,对奉贤地区 131例HBsAg阴性的HBV自然感染孕妇外周血 ,及其分娩后的脐带血进行HBV血清学标志物 (HBVM)和HBVDNA检测。结果 HBsAg阴性的HBV自然感染孕妇宫内的感染率 (除外单一抗 -HBs阳性 )为 5 2 6 7% ;脐血中不同HBVM组合的HBVDNA检出率依次为 :抗 -HBe( )、抗 -HBc( ) >抗 -HBs( )、抗 -HBe( )、抗 -HBc( ) >抗 -HBs( )、抗 -HBe( ) >抗 -HBs( )、抗 -HBc( ) >抗 -HBs( ) ;脐血HBVDNA总检出率为 16 79%。结论 HBsAg阴性的HBV自然感染孕妇也可能发生宫内感染。提议HBsAg阴性的HBV自然感染孕妇和新生儿有进行自动和被动免疫接种的必要性  相似文献

Large-scale vaccination against hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection started in 1984 with first-generation vaccines made from plasma of chronic carriers containing HBV surface antigen (HBsAg). Thereafter, it was replaced in most countries by second-generation vaccines manufactured in yeast cells transformed with gene S encoding HBsAg. Both generations of vaccines have been applied for universal neonate and early childhood vaccination worldwide and have led to a 70–90 % decrease in chronic HBV carrier rates. However, 10–30 % of newborns from HBsAg/HBeAg-positive mothers cannot be protected by passive/active vaccination alone and become chronic HBV carriers themselves. Asymptomatic occult HBV infections are frequent even in those who have protective levels of anti-HBs. Suboptimal protection may be due to heterologous HBsAg subtypes that are present in 99 % of HBV carriers worldwide. Second-generation vaccines contain partially misfolded HBsAg and lack preS1 antigen that carries the major HBV attachment site and neutralizing epitopes. Third-generation vaccines produced in mammalian cells contain correctly folded HBsAg and neutralizing epitopes of the preS antigens, induce more rapid protection, overcome nonresponse to second-generation vaccines and, most importantly, may provide better protection for newborns of HBV-positive mothers. PreS/S vaccines expressed in mammalian cells are more expensive to manufacture, but introduction of more potent HBV vaccines should be considered in regions with a high rate of vertical transmission pending assessment of health economics and healthcare priorities. With optimal vaccines and vaccination coverage, eradication of HBV would be possible.  相似文献

Perinatal transmission of hepatitis B virus in high-incidence countries   总被引:11,自引:0,他引:11  
Hepatitis B is a serious public health problem throughout the world. Hepatitis B virus (HBV) induces acute hepatitis with a case-fatality rate of about 1%. Even more important, 5-10% of patients infected with HBV become chronic carries and about 25% of these will die due to cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma. The reservoir of HBV chronic carriers in the world is estimated at more than 200 million people and 80% of them reside in Asia and the western Pacific. In high-incidence areas, such as south-east Asia, perinatal transmission of HBV from carrier mothers to newborns appears to be the most important factor for the high prevalence of HBV infection and 70-90% of infants born to HBsAg/HBeAg-positive mothers become chronic carriers. Three possibilities of transmission of HBV from carrier mothers to newborns are suggested: (a) transplacental transmission in utero - it was estimated that such transmission occurred in 5-15% of newborns; (b) transmission during delivery, which is considered the main mode of perinatal transmission; (c) postnatal transmission from mother to newborn, which is not common. HBeAg is the main maternal factor in determining whether infection of newborns will occur; the expression of this antigen seems to be determined genetically. Recently it has shown that immunoprophylaxis is highly effective in preventing the development of the carrier state in infants born to HBsAg/HBeAg-positive mothers. Only 5-10% of high-risk infants are not protected by vaccination. If it becomes possible to immunize the entire world population including all babies born to carrier mothers at birth, and if our knowledge of the mechanisms of perinatal transmission of HBV is accurate, the carriers and acute cases of HB ought to disappear in two to three generations.  相似文献

Perinatal transmission of hepatitis B virus (HBV) from asymptomatic HBsAg carrier mothers to their infants was studied in 78 mother-infant pairs by determination of HBsAg, HBeAg and anti-HBe both in the mothers and in their infants at regular intervals for those children up to the time when they reached at least one year of age. Twenty-five out of the 78 (32.1%) infants born to these mothers were HBsAg-positive 2-6 months after birth and they remained so throughout the observation period of at least one year or more. Perinatal HBV transmission occurred only in infants born to HBsAg carrier mothers who were HBeAg-positive (92.6%) but not in those born to HBsAg carrier mothers who had no detectable HBeAg. This study suggests that preventive measures against HBV transmission during the perinatal period should be taken only for infants born to HBsAg carrier mothers who are HBeAg-positive. In addition, the active immune response to HBV was studied in 75 non-HBsAg carrier infants born to HBsAg carrier mothers by determination of anti-HBs at one year of age or older. Forty-three of these infants were treated with HBIG at birth and 32 infants received no treatment. It was found that infants born to HBsAg carrier mothers who were HBeAg-positive had a better active immune response (84.2% positive for anti-HBs) than infants born to HBsAg carrier mothers who had no detectable HBeAg or anti-HBe (14.3% and 20.4% positive for anti-HBs respectively).  相似文献

We studied the relations between genetic heterogeneity of pre-C region of hepatitis B virus (HBV) DNA and outcome of HBV infection in 5 infants with perinatal infection, 3 born to antihepatitis B e antigen (HBeAg), and 2 to HBeAg positive mothers. HBV infection developed in the babies at 3–4 months of age, but it resolved with seroconversion to anti-HBs in infants born to anti-HBe positive mothers, while the infection became chronic in the 2 babies born to HBeAg positive mothers. HBV-DNA extracted from the first hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) positive serum sample of each baby was amplified and directly sequenced for the pre-core region. HBV-DNA sequences from 3 babies born to anti-HBe positive mothers showed at position 1896 the contemporary presence of 2 nucleotides (G + A), indicating a mixture of wild-type and "e minus"variant HBV. These findings suggest a possible co-transmission of the 2 viruses from anti-HBe positive mothers to newborns. HBV-DNA from babies born to HBeAg positive mothers showed wild-type sequences only. The results of this study suggest that the outcome of HBV infection in newborns depends not only on the host's immunocompetence and on viremia level in maternal blood, but also on heterogeneity of HBV. Transmission of mixed HBV populations appears associated with an early immunoelimination of the virus, while infection with wild-type HBV alone contributes to induction of chronicity. © 1993 Wiley-Liss, Inc.  相似文献

We report a prospective study on infants born to hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) carrier mothers to estimate the incidence of perinatal transmission of HBV and HBV-associated delta agent in Northern Italy. The risk of infection to the infant was related to the presence of the HBe antigen-antibody system, HBV-specific DNA polymerase activity and antibody to delta in maternal sera, and to the titer of anti-HBe in babies at birth. The data of this study indicate: 1. Babies born to HBsAg carrier mothers with HBeAg in serum are at extremely high risk of acquiring HBV infection and of developing a chronic carrier state, whereas those born to anti-HBe-positive mothers are at a lower (P <.01) yet consistent risk of infection. 2. HBs antigenernia is usually prolonged and symptomatic in babies born to HBeAg–positive mothers while being self-limited and asymptomatic in babies born to anti-HBe-positive mothers. 3. DNA polymerase activity in maternal serum appears to be the most sensitive marker predicting HBV transmission to the infant since it was detected in all the HBeAg-positive mothers and also in two anti-HBe-positive mothers and in one HBeAg/anti-HBe-negative mother who transmitted infection to their babies. 4. High titers of anti-HBe (up to 1:103) do not prevent HBV infection. 5. Vertical transmission of delta infection seems to occur only in circumstances that permit perinatal transmission of HBV infection.  相似文献

Hepatitis B virus (HBV) markers were studied by radioimmunoassays in serum samples of 1,200 (647 male, 553 female) apparently healthy children under 15 years of age in Taipei between June and October 1984. The prevalence rate of hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) was 5.1% in infancy, increased to 10.7% between 1 and 2 years of age, and then remained constant at about 10% thereafter. The prevalence rate of surface antibody (anti-HBs), core antibody (anti-HBc), and seropositivity (at least one marker of hepatitis B detectable) were 39.0, 30.5, and 52.5%, respectively, in infancy, then decreased to 10.7, 14.3, and 17.9%, respectively, between 1 and 2 years of age. Thereafter, the antibody prevalence increased in parallel with age. By the age of 13-14 years, nearly half of the children were infected by HBV. The results suggested that in our children, most HBsAg carriers resulted from infections before 3 years of age, and HBV infections after 3 years of age infrequently resulted in a carrier state. One hundred (83.3%) of the 120 HBsAg-positive children had hepatitis B e antigen (HBeAg), indicating high prevalence in young asymptomatic HBsAg carriers. The prevalence rate of HBeAg tended to decrease with age and a reversed trend was observed with anti-HBe. Our study, just before our government extends mass hepatitis B vaccination program from newborns to children, provides background seroepidemiologic data of HBV infections in the healthy children in Taiwan.  相似文献

This report concerns hepatitis B virus (HBV) infections observed in 155 infants from Senegal, studied with a view to determining the factors involved in development of the chronic carrier state. A chronic carrier state was observed in 50.3% of the infants. This study confirms that the risk of chronic carriage is linked to age. This risk declines very rapidly with age, falling from 82% in infants under 6 months old, to 15% in children between the ages of 2 and 3 years. Spontaneous elimination of hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) is uncommon in HBsAg carriers during childhood. The difference observed in chronic carriage between males and females is due to a difference in susceptibility of the two sexes to the development of the chronic carrier state: HBV infections (before 2 years of age) lead to a chronic carriage in 77% of males as against 50% of females. These conclusions are important in view of the immunisation programs being carried out against hepatitis B virus in endemic areas. For a maximum efficacy, vaccination must be carried out at birth, or shortly afterwards.  相似文献

In 1984-1988, the levels of HBsAg carrier state and the status of the "e"-system components in pregnant women in Moscow and in the Uzbek SSR, as well as the rate of infection with hepatitis B virus (HBV) in babies born to women carriers of HBsAg in regions with different levels of HBsAg and HBeAg carrier state were studied. The levels of HBsAg carrier state among pregnant women were different in Moscow and Uzbekistan (1.1% and 6.9%, respectively). It was noted that in female HBsAg carriers in these regions the rate of HBeAg detection differed greatly: 5.2% in Moscow and 13.9% in Uzbekistan. The frequency of perinatal infection with HBV in Moscow was 26.1%, in Uzbekistan 40.0%, the frequency of persistent carrier state of HBsAg in the infected babies of Uzbekistan was 16.0%. The possibility of formation of HBsAg persistence in babies born to women with HBsAg and anti-HBe in the blood was demonstrated. The problem of the use of specific prophylaxis measures to prevent perinatal transmission of HBV is discussed.  相似文献

The magnitude and significance of perinatal transmission of hepatitis B virus (HBV) were assessed in infants of 8,575 women, of whom 3.7% were seropositive for HBV surface antigen (HBsAg). The e antigen of HBV (HBeAg) was found in 7.8% of these carriers, the antibody to HBeAg (anti-HBe) was found in 30.1% of them, and HBsAg alone was found in 62.1% of them. The estimated incidence of HBsAg positivity by 6 months of age in infants of carrier women was significantly (P less than .001) higher than in controls (18.6% vs 3.0%). Transmission was most frequent (87.5%) if the carrier mother was HBeAg positive and was much less so if she was positive for anti-HBe (17.5%) or for HBsAg alone (9.6%). Toward the end of infancy incidence of HBsAg positivity among offspring of carriers and among controls was not different. Most infants positive for HBsAg and HBeAg continued with the infection beyond 6 months of age. It is estimated that about one-third of the adult asymptomatic HBV carriers in India evolve directly from perinatal infection, while the majority become infected during childhood or early adulthood.  相似文献

Family members of 47 hepatitis B virus (HBV)-carrier pregnant women were tested for the presence of hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg), other markers of HBV infection, and hepatitis A virus (HAV) antibodies. Eleven members of six families were found to be HBV DNA positive. Five of the anti-HBe-positive persons were found to be HBV DNA carriers, too. The mean age of the HBV DNA carriers was found to be lower than that of Hbe carriers; therefore, it is suggested that seroconversion to HBe occurs before the resolution of HBV DNA carrier state. Superinfection with hepatitis A virus was not found to influence the elimination of HBV-carrier state, as there was no correlation found between the hepatitis A exposure and the hepatitis B virus markers in the families. The low HBV prevalence in the population (0.3%) was in contrast to the high prevalence of the families of the HBV-carrier mothers (27.1%) and family members with HBV markers (50.4%). Significant positive correlation was found in the proportion of HBV-positive children, and the HBV history of their parents. When fathers were shown to be seronegative, the probability of HBV transmission was reduced by a factor of 6 (12.5% instead of 75%) probably due to reduced viral load and possibly by other factors. Several results indicate, that the noncytocidal hepatitis B virus clearing mechanism suggested by Guidotti et al. [1996, 1999] was effective also in the HBV-carrier human population.  相似文献

目的:分析免疫干预后乙肝阳性产妇与新生儿脐带血标本乙肝标志物,评价其临床价值。方法:对我院228例经免疫预防乙肝阳性产妇所生新生儿脐带血资料进行回顾性分析,比较产妇与其新生儿乙肝标志物模式。结果:新生儿脐带血HBsAg和(或)HBeAg阳性23例,宫内感染率10.1%;其中双阳组产妇61例,所娩新生儿脐带血HBsAg和(或)HBeAg阳性21例,宫内感染率34.4%;单阳组167例,所娩新生儿脐带血HBsAg阳性2例,宫内感染率1.2%,两组宫内感染发生率有显著性差异(P〈0.05)。结论:产妇和新生儿HBeAg阳性是宫内感染和HBV感染慢性化的危险因素;对产前孕妇、出身后新生儿进行免疫干预是阻断HBV母婴传播的有效手段。  相似文献

The aim of the study was to assess the long-term outcome of chronic hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) carriers in the general population in North Greece (Thrace), an area with an intermediate endemicity. This was a part of the Interreg I-II EC project. Two hundred sixty three chronic HBsAg+ carriers, median age 34 years (20-65), were evaluated prospectively for a median follow-up of 5 years (2-12). Hepatitis B virus (HBV) markers and ALT were examined every 6 months and serum HBV-DNA every 12 months. Liver biopsy was undertaken at presentation and every 2-4 years. Fourteen of 263 (5.3%) subjects were HBeAg+ and 249/263 (94.7%) HBeAg(-)/anti-HBe+ of whom 48 (19.3%) had elevated ALT, and HBV-DNA levels ranging from 1.4 x 10(5)-4 x 10(7) copies/ml. Inactive carriers (98/195 (50.3%)) had detectable HBV-DNA (median 2.6 x 10(3) range 0.042 x 10(4)-1.9 x 10(4) copies/ml); 4/195 (2%) exhibited HBV reactivation during the observation period (all had HBV-DNA >10(4) copies/ml at presentation). Patients (7/14 (50%) HBeAg+) developed anti-HBe+, annual rate 10%. Subjects (16/195 (8%)) lost HBsAg, all were inactive carriers; 10 developed anti-HBs (annual rate 1%). Liver biopsy was normal or with minimal changes in 92/95 (97%) inactive carriers and remained so at 4 years follow-up. In contrast, 4/48 (8.3%) HBeAg(-)/anti-HBe+ patients with active disease had deterioration of liver histology. In this cohort study: (a) the annual seroconversion rate was 1% for the HBsAg and 10% for the HBeAg, (b) 23.6% of the HBsAg+ carriers had active liver disease and 39% moderate fibrosis at presentation of whom a small proportion deteriorated over the observation period, (c) HBsAg carriers with HBV-DNA level <10(4) copies/ml had persistently normal ALT and unchanged liver histology over the follow-up period of up to 12 years.  相似文献

Five hundred sixty-four Vietnam refugees were studied for past or present infection with hepatitis A and B virus (HAV and HBV) by sensitive serological assays for hepatitis B surface and e-antigen and antibodies to HBsAg, HBeAg, HBcAg, and HAV. Fifteen percent of the men and 6% of the women were HBsAg-positive. Of these 66% were also positive for HBeAg. Serum transaminase values did not effectively differentiate between the infectious HBeAg carriers and the less infectious anti-HBe carriers. The HBsAg carrier rate did not increase by age after infancy, and among children, carriers clustered around HBsAg carrier mothers only. In contrast, the distribution of antibodies to the three HBV-associated antigens suggested continuous exposure throughout childhood, and a 90% prevalence rate was found at the age of 20 years. Screening for HBeAg in this new population group is necessary if appropriate precautions are to be taken, and if medical management of these patients is to be optimal. The prevalence of antibody to hepatitis A increases with age to 90% at 15 years. Among anti-HAV-positive children and adults IgM- anti-HAV was found in 8% of the children and none of the adults, indicating that only a few children may be in an infectious stage at the time of study, and therefore no specific prophylactic precautions are necessary.  相似文献

While resolution of hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection occurs in most cases, a carrier state can exist in which the HBV surface antigen (HBsAg) persists. Some carriers are also positive for the HBV “e” antigen (HBeAg), indicative of high viral replication. Others are HBV “e” antibody (anti-HBe)-positive carriers in whom there appears to be a fall in the level of viral replication with the appearance of antibodies against the “e” antigen. The former group of carriers is considered to be at a higher risk of transmitting HBV infection than the latter. In order that a carrier state may occur, some degree of tolerance to the infectious agent must exist. A study of the rate of increase of specific antibody avidity following infection provides a means of assessing the maturity of the immune response to an infectious agent. Since antibodies specific for the HBV core antigen (HBcAg) are produced in almost all cases of HBV infection and the HBeAg and HBcAg share a large number of amino acids and some B- and T-cell epitopes, the increase in the avidity of antibodies against the HBV core antigen (anti-HBc) in cases of acute, resolving HBV infection and in HBV carriers has, therefore, been studied. An increase in the avidity of specific antibody, similar to that seen in other viral infections, was observed following acute, resolving infection. However, low avidity antibody persisted longer in carriers who remained positive for HBeAg, whereas in cases where there were antibodies specific for HBeAg, the anti-HBc antibody was of high avidity. Analysis of sequential sera from carriers who seroconverted from HBeAg-positive to anti-HBe-positive showed that an increase in anti-core avidity could predate seroconversion from HBeAg-positive to anti-HBe-positive status. The prevalence of serum HBV DNA in individuals positive for anti-HBc alone was determined by the polymerase chain reaction in two groups with endemic HBV infection from Canton (group A) and Hainan (group B), provinces of China. Twenty-one out of 294 individuals in group A (7.2%) and 193 out of 1995 in group B (9.7%) were positive for anti-HBc but negative for other markers of ongoing or past HBV infection (HBsAg and anti-HBs). HBV DNA was detected in 6/21 sera in group A (28.6%) and 68/193 in group B (35.2%) in their initial serum specimen. One of the six HBV-DNA-positive individuals in group A became negative after 6 months and four of the 58 positive in group B became negative at 4 years of follow-up. All of the individuals remained positive for anti-HBc and negative for anti-HBs, but one of them became positive for HBsAg on follow-up. None of the anti-HBc- and HBV-DNA-positive subjects had symptoms of liver diseases. They were, therefore, defined as chronic asymptomatic HBV carriers with undetectable HBsAg. This type of carrier should be added to the typical HBsAg-positive carrier, who constitutes about 10-15% of the general Chinese population, to give a more complete estimate of asymptomatic HBV carriers in China.  相似文献

A study was undertaken to establish markers for HBV replication in relation to HBeAg and anti-HBe. HBsAg carriers with serum HBeAg had DNA polymerase activity in the serum and HBcAg in the liver nuclei. Anti-HBe positive and anti-HBe/HBeAg negative sera lacked these markers. For anti-HBc the following geometrical mean titers were calculated: 1: 12,000 for HBeAg positive, 1:9, 100 for anti-HBe and anti-HBc positive, and 1:2,800 for anti-HBc positive anti-HBe/HBeAg negative asymptomatic HBsAg carriers. Follow up studies revealed mostly unchanged anti-HBc titers in all three groups over an observation period of ten to twenty months. Our data argue for a prolonged HBV replication in all HBsAg carrier subgroups compared to individuals with an uncomplicated acute virus-B-hepatitis. This study gives no final answer whether HBeAg negative HBsAg carriers have a continous HBV replication.  相似文献

Anti-hepatitis Be (HBe) carriers are perceived as having low infectivity, with hepatitis B virus (HBV) DNA levels far below those seen in the HBeAg carrier. However, the temporal stability of HBV DNA in anti-HBe carriers remains poorly characterised. UK Department of Health guidelines use HBV DNA levels to define whether HBV-infected health care workers may perform exposure-prone procedures. Two samples separated by 1-23 years available from 147 carriers were analysed for precore variants and HBV DNA levels. Among 15 HBeAg carriers, HBV DNA was maintained at high levels. There was a 5 log(10) fold reduction in DNA in 11 individuals who developed anti-HBe during follow-up evaluation. Proportional changes in HBV DNA levels in anti-HBe carriers were similar to those in HBeAg carriers, although there was a trend for changes in viral DNA to be more marked in anti-HBe carriers followed up for longer periods. Closer sampling in 20 anti-HBe carriers demonstrated large fluctuations of DNA levels over short periods. Serum transaminases and precore mutant status at the outset failed to predict those in whom HBV DNA levels fluctuated. HBV DNA was below the detection threshold (<400 copies/ml) in 36 anti-HBe carriers at first sampling and remained so in all but 5 of these carriers. Twelve individuals who were previously viraemic lost detectable HBV DNA during follow-up evaluation. While HBV DNA levels are found to fluctuate in carriers, our results indicate that once below the threshold of detectability, levels are unlikely to rise. This is an important factor when assessing health care workers for exposure-prone procedures.  相似文献

A low dose of recombinant DNA hepatitis B vaccine (HB-VAX II, MSD) was tested for efficacy in the prevention of perinatal hepatitis B virus (HBV) transmission in normal and high-risk neonates born from HBsAg carrier mothers. A dose of 2.5 micrograms recombinant vaccine was injected intramuscularly at 0, 1, 2 and 12 months of age to 30 newborns from HBsAg negative mother (group I), 30 from HBeAg negative/HBsAg carrier mother (group II) and 30 from HBeAg positive/HBsAg carrier mother (group III). The incidence of persistent HBsAg carrier infants at 13 months of age was 0, 0, and 30.4 percent in groups I, II and III, respectively. The protective efficacy in high risk infants in group III was 65.7 percent. The seroconversion at month 4, after the third dose of vaccination was 96.3, 95.7 and 100 percent in group I, group II and group III, respectively. After a booster dose of vaccination at 12 months of age, the seroconversion rose to 100 percent at month 13 in all three groups. The geometric mean titer (GMT) of anti-HBs antibody at 13 months of age were 2,092, 1,657 and 1,938 mIU/ml in group I, group II and group III, respectively. It is concluded that the low dose (2.5 micrograms) recombinant hepatitis B vaccine using alone is effective in prevention of perinatal HBV transmission in low risk infants (groups I and II), but it is less effective in high risk infants (group III).(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)  相似文献

Hepatitis B virus (HBV) markers were determined in 821 patients receiving renal allografts and undergoing immunosuppressive therapy during 1970-1986. Twenty-four of the patients with a renal transplant functioning for longer than 1 year originally were or became chronic carriers of hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg). These patients remained carriers during the follow-up period, which lasted until death or until the end of 1986. Follow-up time was 1.2-15.3 years (mean 9.1 years). A total of 301 samples from the HBsAg-positive patients were tested for HBV DNA and HBeAg/DNA and HBeAg/anti-HBe. Nine patients who were constantly positive for HBeAg also remained positive for HBV DNA. Reactivation of HBV replication occurred in 11 patients. Among these, HBV DNA and HBeAg varied in parallel in six patients, three patients developed anti-HBe, and two patients were constantly positive for anti-HBe. Another four of the 24 patients seroconverted to anti-HBe, and two of these also lost HBV DNA. Three of 12 deceased patients died from liver failure during follow-up. None of these three had been constantly positive for HBeAg or HBV DNA, but they had had reactivations of HBV; two were also positive for HBV DNA in serum specimens available from their terminal month. HBV DNA was demonstrated in 99% of HBeAg-positive and 53% of anti-HBe-positive sera and in at least two samples from each of the 24 patients.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)  相似文献
