Background

The most important prognostic factor after curative surgery for gastric carcinoma is the presence of lymph node metastases. According to the 7th edition of the UICC TNM staging system for gastric cancer, N classification was categorized as N0 (no regional lymph node metastasis), N1 (1?C2 regional lymph node metastases), N2 (3?C6 regional lymph node metastases), and N3 (7 or more regional lymph node metastases). The purpose of this study was to evaluate the rationality of the new UICC/AJCC N classification in comparison with the 6th UICC classification.

Methods

From August 2002 to July 2006, 295 patients with gastric cancer underwent curative resection with D2 lymph node dissection by a single surgeon. We analyzed retrospectively the significant prognostic factors and identified the suitability of the 7th UICC N staging system.

Results

According to the 7th UICC N classification, the 5-year cumulative survival rates (5-YSR) of N0, N1, N2, N3a, and N3b were 89.7, 73.6, 54.9, 23.1, and 5.4%, respectively (P?<?0.0001). Using univariate analysis, the N classification of the 7th and 6th UICC/AJCC TNM staging system, T classification of the 7th UICC TNM staging system, size and location of tumor, and histology were associated with the overall survival of gastric cancer after curative surgery. However, Cox regression multivariate analysis showed the 7th UICC N classification was an independent prognostic factor instead of the 6th UICC N classification (P?<?0.0001).

Conclusion

The 7th UICC classification for lymph node metastasis is thought to be a more reliable prognostic factor for gastric cancer than the 6th classification.  相似文献

Background

The 8th edition of the AJCC TNM staging system for gastric cancer was released in 2016 and included major revisions, especially of stage III.

Patients and Methods

Data from 3281 patients with GC who underwent R0 resection between December 2006 and November 2014 were reviewed. Of them, 1579 patients with stage III according to the seventh edition were analyzed and the 7th and 8th TNM classifications were compared.

Results

The most important tumor stages change observed in stage III GC. For stage III patients, the median number of lymph nodes (LNs) resected in stage III patients was 33 (range 5–112), and the optimal cut-off value for the number of LNs resected was 30. Although the 7th edition classification had higher c-index, linear trend and likelihood ratio χ2 scores, and smaller AIC values compared with those for the 8th edition, which represented the optimum prognostic stratification, however, the differences between 7th and 8th edition seems to be not statistically significant, and AIC demonstrates similar trend as well. Further subgroup analysis found that the 8th staging system generated the marginally better prognostic stratification only when LNs removed ≥30.

Conclusion

The 8th TNM classification may provide better accuracy than 7th edition in predicting the prognosis of stage III GC after R0 resection with LNs harvested ≥30. However, further research in an external validation setting is warranted.  相似文献

Background

The 8th edition of AJCC TNM staging manual for gastric cancer (GC) has been validated by several studies. A modified staging system based on it and total harvested number of lymph nodes (LNs; cutoff: 30) is suggested to improve predictive capacities for advanced GC. This study is designed to validate the modified method using a single-center database in Southern China.

Methods

Clinical data from 684?GC patients with stage II and III according to the 7th edition between 2001 and 2012 were reviewed. A modified staging system was applied to restage the cohort. The three staging systems were compared in terms of prognostic performance on long-term survival.

Results

The median follow-up period of this cohort was 52 (range, 6–180) months, with a median 5-year overall survival rate of 52.4%. Stage migration was observed in 159 (23.2%) patients according to the 8th edition of TNM staging, and another migration was observed in 108 (15.8%) patients according to the modified TNM staging system. Compared with the modified staging system, both 7th and 8th edition of AJCC TNM staging systems did not prove survival concordance on stage IIIA (7th edition) and stage IIIC (8th edition) when <30 LNs were examined. The survival performance between two AJCC staging systems had no significant improvement (c-index, 0.607 vs. 0.609), with the best prognostic stratification obtained using the modified staging method (c-index, 0.631).

Conclusions

The modified staging system on basis of the 8th AJCC classification and the number of harvested LNs could provide an optimal predictive capacities for advanced gastric cancer.  相似文献

OBJECTIVE To retrospectively analyze clinical data of patients from our hospital who underwent radical surgery for esophageal carcinoma and for adenocarcinoma of the gastric cardia, as well as to investigate prognostic factors affecting the long-term survival of the patients. METHODS Data from the patients eligible for our study, admitted to the 4th Hospital of Hebei Medical University from January 1996 to December 2004, were randomized, and 12 distinctive clinicopathologic factors influencing the survival rate of those who underwent radical surgery for esophageal carcinoma or carcinoma of the gastric cardia were collected. Univariate and multivariate analysis of these individual variables were performed using the Cox proportional hazard model. RESULTS It was shown by univariate analysis that age, tumor size, pathologic type, lymph node status, TNM staging, depth of infiltration and encroachment into local organs, etc., were the factors that markedly influenced the prognosis of patients (P 〈 0.01). Multivariate analysis showed that pathologic type, number of the lymph node metastases, involvement of local organs, and TNM staging were independent prognostic factors (P 〈 0.05). CONCLUSION The independent factors influencing the prognosis of patients with esophageal cancer and carcinoma of the gastric cardia include pathologic type, number of lymph node metastases, involvement of local organs and TNM staging. The main prognostic factors affecting the patient's survival are patient age, tumor size and depth of infiltration. In addition, patients with involvement of the local organs have a worse prognosis, and they should be closely followed up.  相似文献

Background

One of the most important prognostic indicators in gastric cancer is the presence of metastases in lymph nodes. Even now, little is known about lymphangiogenesis in neoplastic tissue, and little is also known about the transmission of a neoplastic cell from the tumor mass into a lymphatic vessel.

Methods

This study examined the relationships between the density of lymphatic vessels (LVD) stained immunohistochemically with lymphatic vessel endothelial hyaluronan receptor-1 (LYVE-1) and D2-40 (podoplanin) antibodies, the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF)-C/D, selected clinical and pathomorphological factors, and the 5-year overall survival of gastric cancer patients.

Results

Statistical analysis showed no impact of increased intratumoral or peritumoral LVD on gastric cancer patient survival, irrespective of the protein used to stain lymphatic vessels. Analysis showed that the probability of overall survival was decreased in the cases with enhanced VEGF-D immunoreactivity (P = 0.0045).

Conclusion

The study showed that the studied markers cannot be used to determine the required extent of the surgical procedure, as they have no statistically significant correlation with the degree of progression of the cancer, the stage of the disease assessed according to the TNM 5th classification of malignant tumors, clinicopathological features, and patient survival. VEGF-D is the only marker that can be regarded as an unfavorable prognostic indicator for patients with advanced gastric cancer.  相似文献

Background

To compare the power to predict the 5-year conditional disease-specific survival (CS5) between the 7th and 8th editions of the TNM for gastric cancer (GC) patients.

Method

This retrospective study recruited 20,548 patients who underwent GC surgery from the databases of the Surveillance, Epidemiology, End Results and a center in Asia. The CS5 was evaluated with the 7th and 8th TNM classification.

Results

A two-step model showed that at the 3-5th postoperative years, the 8th staging remained an independent risk factor, whereas there was no significant difference for 7th -edition staging. Further analysis of the ability to predict CS5 indicated that there were significant differences in the CS5 of 7th -edition stages IIb and IIIa at baseline and at the postoperative 1-4th years (all p < 0.05, Cohen's d > 0.5). However, the CS5 of the fifth year was similar between them (p = 0.307, Cohen's d = 0.35). Meanwhile, the results indicated that the 8th -edition staging could effectively determine the CS5 among stages Ⅰa, Ⅰb, Ⅱa, Ⅱb, Ⅲa, and Ⅲb at baseline and at the postoperative 1-5th years (all p < 0.05). However, neither the 7th - nor the 8th -edition staging could predict the CS5 for stages Ⅲb and Ⅲc from the postoperative third to fifth years (all p > 0.05).

Conclusions

For patients with stages IIB and IIIA GC, the 8th TNM has a higher discriminatory value than the 7th edition for CS5 after the postoperative fourth year. However, a more detailed classification system is still needed to predict conditional survival for GC.  相似文献

Background

The Japanese Gastric Cancer Association (JGCA) started a new nationwide gastric cancer registration in 2008.

Methods

From 208 participating hospitals, 53 items including surgical procedures, pathological diagnosis, and survival outcomes of 13,626 patients with primary gastric cancer treated in 2002 were collected retrospectively. Data were entered into the JGCA database according to the JGCA classification (13th edition) and UICC TNM classification (5th edition) using an electronic data collecting system. Finally, data of 13,002 patients who underwent laparotomy were analyzed.

Results

The 5-year follow-up rate was 83.3 %. The direct death rate was 0.48 %. UICC 5-year survival rates (5YEARSs)/JGCA 5YEARSs were 92.2 %/92.3 % for stage IA, 85.3 %/84.7 % for stage IB, 72.1 %/70.0 % for stage II, 52.8 %/46.8 % for stage IIIA, 31.0 %/28.8 % for stage IIIB, and 14.9 %/15.3 % for stage IV, respectively. The proportion of patients more than 80 years old was 7.8 %, and their 5YEARS was 51.6 %. Postoperative outcome of the patients with primary gastric carcinoma in Japan have apparently improved in advanced cases and among the aged population when compared with the archival data. Further efforts to improve the follow-up rate are needed.

Purpose

Gallbladder carcinoma (GC) is generally considered as a relatively rare malignancy with poor prognosis. In order to guide clinicians in selecting suitable treatment for GC patients, reliable markers predictive of poor clinical outcome are desirable. This study analyzed the expression of Polo-like kinase 1 (Plk1), Nima related kinases 7 (Nek7) and Forkhead box M1 (FoxM1) in GC tissues and their relationship to clinicopathologic features and survival.

Methods

We immunohistochemically investigated the 76 specimens of gallbladder carcinoma, pericarcinoma and normal tissues using Nek7, FoxM1 and Plk1 antibodies and analyzed the overall survival time of these 76 patients.

Results

There were significant correlations between the high level expression of Nek7, FoxM1 and Plk1 and the tumor differentiation, Nevin staging and metastasis. The high level expression of Nek7, FoxM1 and Plk1 was significantly associated with shorter overall survival time in univariate analysis (log-rank test), also identified as an independent prognostic factor in multivariate analysis.

Conclusion

Nek7, FoxM1 and Plk1 were significantly associated with certain clinicopathologic indices in GC. Evaluation of Nek7, FoxM1 and Plk1 expression may be an important factor in identifying a group of poor GC prognosis.  相似文献

Purpose

To investigate the potential candidate microRNA (miRNA) biomarkers for the clinical diagnosis, classification, and prognosis of gastric cancer (GC).

Methods

We use bioinformatics overlapping subclasses analysis to find the tumor grade and lymphatic metastasis-related GC specific miRNAs from the Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database. Then, we further investigated these GC specific miRNAs distributions in different GC clinical features and their correlations overall survival on the basis of GC patients’ information and their related RNA sequencing profile from TCGA. Finally, we randomly selected some of key miRNAs use qRT-PCR to confirm the reliability and validity.

Results

22 GC specific key miRNAs were identified (Fold-change >2, P < 0.05), 11 of them were discriminatively expressed with tumor size, grade, TNM stage and lymphatic metastasis (P < 0.05). In addition, nine miRNAs (miR-196b-5p, miR-135b-5p, miR-183-5p, miR-182-5p, miR-133a-3p, miR-486-5p, miR-144-5p, miR-129-5p and miR-145-5p) were found to be significantly associated with overall survival (log-rank P < 0.05). Finally, four key miRNAs (miR-183-5p, miR-486-5p, miR-30c-2-3p and miR-133a-3p) were randomly selected to validation and their expression levels in 53 newly diagnosed GC patients by qRT-PCR. Results showed that the fold-changes between TCGA and qRT-PCR were 100 % in agreement. We also found miR-183-5p and miR-486-5p were significantly correlated with tumor TNM stage (P < 0.05), and miR-30c-2-3p and miR-133a-3p were associated with tumor differentiation degree and lymph-node metastasis (P < 0.05). These verified miRNAs clinically relevant, and the bioinformatics analysis results were almost the same.

Conclusion

These key miRNAs may functions as potential candidate biomarkers for the clinical diagnosis, classification and prognosis for GC.

Background

Nodal status is one of the most important prognostic factors in gastric adenocarcinoma (GC). As such, it is important to assess an appropriate number of lymph nodes (LNs) in order to accurately stage patients. However, the number of LNs assessed in each GC case varies, and in many cases the number examined per gastric specimen is less than current recommendations.

Purpose

We aimed to identify and synthesize findings from all articles evaluating the association of clinicopathological features and long-term outcomes with the number of LNs assessed among GC patients.

Methods

Systematic electronic literature searches were conducted using Medline, Embase, and the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials from 1998 to 2009.

Results

Twenty-five articles were included in this review. Extensive resection, increased tumor size, and greater TNM staging were all associated with a greater number of LNs assessed. The disease-free survival was longer and recurrence rate was lower in patients with more LNs assessed. Overall survival, as well as survival by TNM and clinical stage, was improved among patients with an increased number of LNs assessed, but much of this appears to be due to stage migration, with the effect more pronounced in more advanced disease.

Conclusion

More LNs assessed resulted in less stage migration and possibly better long-term outcomes. Although current guidelines suggest 16 LNs to be assessed, especially in advanced GC, a higher number of LNs should be assessed.

Background

Signet ring cell carcinoma (SRC) of the stomach is a histological type based on microscopic characteristics. Although the distinctive clinicopathological features of SRC have been reported, results are inconsistent and survival outcomes are uncertain.

Methods

We retrospectively studied 769 patients with gastric carcinoma who underwent gastrectomy in our institute from 1999 to 2009. Among them, 326 patients (42.4 %) had early gastric cancer (EGC) and 443 patients (57.6 %) had advanced gastric cancer (AGC). Sex, age, tumor location, macroscopic type, tumor size, microscopic invasion, and survival rate were compared between patients with SRC, differentiated-, and undifferentiated-type gastric carcinomas.

Results

Fifty-one patients (15.6 %) had SRC in EGC; there were significant differences in sex, age, location, macroscopic type, and size between SRC and the differentiated histological type. However, there was no difference between SRC and undifferentiated-type gastric carcinoma, except for the macroscopic type. Fifty-seven patients (12.9 %) had SRC in AGC. Sex, age, location, size, macroscopic type, perineural invasion, N stage, and hepatic metastasis were significantly different between SRC and the differentiated histological type. Undifferentiated-type gastric carcinoma differed in sex, macroscopic type, and hepatic metastasis. The overall survival rate differed between SRC and other cell types (P < 0.001). Among all the study patients, age [hazard ratio (HR) 1.013, P = 0.041] and tumor, node, and metastasis (TNM) stage (HR 2.350, P < 0.001) were important factors for predicting survival. Omitting patients with palliative resection or metastases, TNM stage was still an important factor for survival (HR 2.077, P < 0.001).

Conclusions

Patients with SRC showed similar clinicopathological features with undifferentiated histology. The survival of patients with SRC reflected a better prognosis in patients with undifferentiated gastric carcinoma. However, when narrowing the patients to those with EGC only, survival in EGC patients exhibited no difference between histological types. Among AGC patients, SRC patients had a worse prognosis than other cell types.  相似文献

Introduction

Triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) has a poorer survival, despite a higher response rate to neoadjuvant chemotherapy. The purpose of this study was to identify the predictive or prognostic value of Ki-67 among patients with TNBC treated with neoadjuvant chemotherapy, and the role of Ki-67 in further classification of TNBC.

Methods

A total of 105 TNBC patients who received neoadjuvant docetaxel/doxorubicin chemotherapy were included in the present study. Pathologic complete response (pCR) rate, relapse-free survival (RFS), and overall survival (OS) were compared according to the level of Ki-67.

Results

pCR was observed in 13.3% of patients. TNBC with high Ki-67 expression (≥10%) showed a higher pCR rate to neoadjuvant chemotherapy than TNBC with low Ki-67 expression. None of the low Ki-67 group achieved pCR (18.2% in the high Ki-67 group vs. 0.0% in the low Ki-67 group, P = 0.019). However, a high Ki-67 expression was significantly associated with poor RFS and OS in TNBC, despite a higher pCR rate (P = 0.005, P = 0.019, respectively). In multivariate analysis, high Ki-67 was an independent prognostic factor for RFS in TNBC (hazard ratio = 7.82, P = 0.002). The high Ki-67 group showed a similar pattern of recurrence with overall TNBC, whereas the low Ki-67 group demonstrated a relatively constant hazard rate for relapse.

Conclusions

TNBC with high Ki-67 was associated with a more aggressive clinical feature despite a higher pCR rate. High proliferation index Ki-67 can be used for further classification of TNBC into two subtypes with different responses and prognosis.  相似文献

Background

We investigated the superiority of the 8th edition of the tumor-node-metastasis (TNM) system for patients in China with gastric cancer.

Methods

The survival outcomes of 1663 patients with gastric cancer undergoing radical resection were analyzed.

Results

In the 8th edition system, homogeneous 5-year survival rates among different pathological TNM (pTNM) categories belonging to the same stage were observed. However, in the 7th edition system, the differences of 5-year survival rate among pTNM categories belonging to the same stage were observed in stages IIB (P = 0.010), IIIB (P = 0.004), and IIIC (P < 0.001). For patients in the pT1-3 (P < 0.001) and pT4a (P < 0.001) categories, there were significant differences in survival between patients in the pN3a and pN3b categories. Furthermore, partial cases (pT4bN0M0/T4aN2M0) of stage IIIB were downstaged to stage IIIA in the 8th edition system, and the 5-year survival rate of these patients was significantly better than that of patients in stage IIIB in the 8th edition system. Similarly, the 5-year survival rate of patients in p4bN2M0/T4aN3aM0 downstaged from stage IIIC to IIIB was significantly better than that of patients in stage IIIC. Compared with the 7th edition system, the 8th edition system had a higher likelihood ratio and linear trend chi-squared score and a smaller Akaike information criteria value.

Conclusions

The 8th edition system is superior to the 7th edition system in terms of homogeneity, discriminatory ability, and monotonicity of gradients for Chinese patients with gastric cancer.

Background:

The family of polypeptide N-acetylgalactosaminyl transferases is responsible for the altered O-linked glycosylation occurring during the development of various cancers and their progression via altering O-glycan biosynthesis. Our studies were designed to investigate the expression and prognostic values of GalNAc-T5 and improve the risk stratification in patients with gastric cancer.

Methods:

Tissue samples from a training set and a validation set of patients with gastric adenocarcinoma from China were used for analyses. GalNAc-T5 expression was retrospectively analysed by immunohistochemistry. Results were assessed for association with clinicopathological parameters and overall survival by using Kaplan–Meier analysis. Prognostic values of GalNAc-T5 expression and clinical outcomes were evaluated by Cox regression analysis. A molecular prognostic stratification scheme incorporating GalNAc-T5 expression was determined by using receiver operating characteristic analysis.

Results:

GalNAc-T5 expression was markedly reduced in gastric cancer tissues compared with non-malignant gastric mucosa. Low intratumoral GalNAc-T5 density, which was associated with tumour cell differentiation, T classification, N classification, and TNM stage in the two independent sets, was an independent prognosticator for poor prognosis of gastric cancer patients. Applying the prognostic value of intratumoral GalNAc-T5 density to the conventional clinicopathologic TNM stage system showed a better prognostic value in patients with gastric cancer.

Conclusions:

Intratumoral GalNAc-T5 expression was recognised as an independent prognostic marker for the overall survival of gastric cancer patients. Detection of GalNAc-T5 expression in gastric cancer tissues might add some prognostic information for patients with this disease and lead to a more accurate classification under the TNM stage system.  相似文献

Objective: Human carbonic anhydrases II (CAII) gene plays an important role in different cancer. However, its relevance to gastric cancer (GC) remains unclear. In the present study, we aimed to investigate the expression of CAII in GC and explore its correlation with some clinicopathologic characteristics of GC. Methods: The expression of CAII in 20 specimens of normal gastric mucosa, 38 specimens of intraepithelial neoplasia and 112 specimens of gastric carcinoma were detected by immunohistochemical techniques. Survival in GC with CAII expression was studied. Results: The positive rate of CAII protein in normal gastric mucosa was significantly higher than that in intraepithelial neoplasia and gastric carcinoma (100% vs. 63.16% and 28.57%, P<0.001). The positive rate of CAII protein was significantly higher in gastric carcinoma at early stages than that at advanced stages (70.0% vs. 19.57%, P<0.001). The positive rate of CAII protein was significantly lower in gastric carcinoma with lymph node metastases than that without lymph node metastases (10.81% vs. 37.33%, P<0.05). Furthermore, the positive rate of CAII protein was significantly lower in poorly-differentiated gastric carcinoma than in moderately- or well-differentiated gastric carcinoma (15.94% vs. 31.03% or 60.00%, P<0.05). Moreover, CAII expression was not related with sex, age and tumor size. The patients with CAII-positive tumors showed a better survival rate than those with CAII-negative tumors (P=0.024, log-rank test). Conclusion: CAII expression was related with stages and lymph node metastases in gastric carcinoma. The reduction of CAII expression in GC might promote tumor cell motility and contribute to tumor growth and metastasis.  相似文献

Introduction

It has been reported that a local injection of 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) administered endoscopically can have a favorable result in patients with early gastric cancer.

Methods

We report the application of a local injection of 5-FU administered endoscopically in three patients with advanced gastric cancer (AGC) who refused or were not suitable for surgery or systemic chemotherapy. The benefits of locally applied endoscopic chemotherapy (EC) with 5-FU as an alternative therapy were evaluated.

Results

Good tolerance with an important reduction of the tumor size and no adverse reactions was observed in all three patients.

Conclusion

EC with 5-FU is a feasible technique that can be applied in a certain group of patients with AGC. Further studies will be required to corroborate these results.  相似文献

Background

Gastric neuroendocrine neoplasia has been classified as neuroendocrine tumor (NET), a less-malignant type, and neuroendocrine carcinoma (NEC), a more-malignant type. We investigated phenotypic expression profiles to clarify the differences between NET and NEC in terms of histopathology and carcinogenesis.

Methods

We assayed 86 cases of gastric neuroendocrine neoplasms (NET G1, n = 25; NET G2, n = 9; NEC, n = 52), using six exocrine markers (MUC5AC, human gastric mucin, MUC6, M-GGMC-1, MUC2, and CDX2).

Results

NEC frequently coexisted with adenocarcinomatous components (75 %; 39 of 52) and the majority (71.8 %; 28 of 39) showed intraglandular endocrine cell hyperplasia, although no cases of NET showed adenocarcinomatous components. Mucin phenotype significantly differed between NET and NEC; none of NET cases expressed any exocrine markers other than CDX2, although the majority of NEC (86.5 %; 45 of 52) expressed at least one or more exocrine markers with various positive rates for each marker (range, 8.2–74.0 %). Each NEC component showed only the phenotype expressed in the adenocarcinomatous component in the same tumor. Furthermore, double immunohistochemistry revealed dual expression of CDX2 and chromogranin A in half the NEC cases (23 of 46).

Conclusions

These data suggest that gastric NETs (G1 and G2) and NECs have different processes of carcinogenesis, and gastric NECs may be generated from preceding adenocarcinomas.  相似文献

Background

One-year adjuvant S-1 monotherapy following D2 gastrectomy has been the Japanese treatment standard for pathological stage II or III gastric cancer since the Adjuvant Chemotherapy Trial of S-1 for Gastric Cancer (ACTS-GC) was concluded in 2007. Trial patients were selected according to the 13th edition of the Japanese classification (JC-13). The JC-13 and the TNM classification underwent major revisions in 2010 (JC-14/TNM-7). However, neither the recent therapeutic results for patients with stage II/III disease defined by the current system nor comparisons with the ACTS-GC-results have been reported.

Methods

The 390 study patients had pathological stage II/III gastric cancer defined by the JC-14/TNM-7 and treated with S-1 following D2 gastrectomy between 2008 and 2012. The completion rate of 1-year S-1, first relapse site, and stage-specific survival according to the JC-14/TNM-7, JC-13, and TNM-6 were examined and the results compared with those of the ACTS-GC.

Results

The completion rate for 1-year S-1 (69.5%) was slightly higher than in the ACTS-GC. The recurrence pattern was almost identical. The 5-year overall survival rates of pathological IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB, and IIIC in the JC-14/TNM-7 were 96.0, 85.5, 81.8, 72.0, and 51.1%, respectively. Their 5-year overall and relapse-free survival rates by the JC-13 and TNM-6 systems were favorable as compared to those of ACTS-GC patients for all substages.

Conclusions

Survival outcome shown in this study of patients treated with 1-year adjuvant S-1 after D2 gastrectomy at a high-volume cancer hospital will provide a reference for future adjuvant trials targeting JC-14/TNM-7 stage II/III disease.
