A brief review has been made of the literature on chronic inflammatory tumors of the ileocecal region.A case has been recorded of an ileocecal tumor mass which presented an extensive involvement of the adjacent structures as the result of a chronic proliferative inflammation.The mass was not resectable. The appendix, ovary, uterine tube and a portion of the mesentery were surgically removed. A cecostomy was done for drainage of the cecum. 相似文献
