The purpose of this study was to compare the antifungal efficacy of 6% sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl), 2% chlorhexidine gluconate (CHX), 17% ethylene-diaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA), and BioPure MTAD as a final rinse on Candida albicans in vitro. Forty-eight, single rooted teeth were randomly divided into four groups each with a positive and a negative control. After root canal preparation, experimental teeth were inoculated with Candida albicans (ATCC 60193) and incubated for 72 hours. The groups were rinsed as follows: 1 ml of 6% NaOCl, 0.2 ml of 2% CHX, 1 ml of 17% EDTA, and 5 ml of BioPure MTAD. Aliquots from the experimental teeth were plated on Sabouraud 4% dextrose agar plates and colony-forming units were counted as a measure of antifungal activity. The results showed that 6% NaOCl and 2% CHX were equally effective and statistically significantly superior to BioPure MTAD and 17% EDTA (p < 0.05) in antifungal activity.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to evaluate the residual antibacterial activity of Tetraclean, MTAD and 5.25% sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) in bovine root dentin in vitro. One hundred and ten dentin tubes prepared from bovine incisor teeth were infected in vitro for 14 days with Enterococcus faecalis. Thereafter, the specimens were divided into five groups as follows: Tetraclean; MTAD; 5.25% NaOCl; infected dentin tubes (positive control); and sterile dentin tubes (negative control). Dentin chips were collected using round burs into tryptic soy broth and after culturing, the number of colony‐forming units (CFU) was counted. The number of CFU in all experimental groups was minimum after treatment, and the results obtained were significantly different from each other at any time period (P < 0.05). The Tetraclean group showed the most effective antibacterial action at all five experimental periods (P < 0.05). MTAD group showed the least antibacterial activity after treatment. However, at days 7, 14, 21 and 28 MTAD showed more effective antibacterial action than NaOCl. In each group, the number of CFU increased significantly by time‐lapse (P < 0.05). In conclusion, the residual antibacterial activity of Tetraclean was significantly greater than MTAD and 5.25% NaOCl.  相似文献

IntroductionClinical assessment of the efficacy of novel root canal disinfection protocols is an important focus in endodontic research. This randomized double-blinded study assessed the antibacterial efficacy of a final rinse with BioPure MTAD (MTAD) and intracanal medication with 2% chlorhexidine gel (CHX) in teeth with apical periodontitis.MethodsCanals in 30 teeth (single-rooted and multi-rooted) were prepared by using 1.3% NaOCl, rinsed with MTAD or saline in random sequence, medicated with CHX for 7 days, irrigated with 1.3% NaOCl, and filled. Bacteriologic root canal samples were obtained by aspiration before (1A) and after (1B) canal preparation, after the final rinse (1C), after CHX was flushed (2A), and after final irrigation (2B). Bacteria were enumerated by epifluorescence-microscopy (EFM) by using 2 staining methods and by colony-forming-unit (CFU) counts after 14 days of incubation.ResultsBacterial counts (EFM) in 1B were greater than 95% decreased from 1A. Low bacterial densities in 1B, 1C, 2A, and 2B did not differ significantly from each other. EFM counts were consistently higher than CFU counts.ConclusionsThe final rinse with MTAD and medication with CHX did not reduce bacterial counts beyond levels achieved by canal preparation with NaOCl.  相似文献

This study aimed to compare the effects of different irrigants on root dentine microhardness, erosion and smear layer removal. A total of 72 root dentine slices were divided into six groups, according to the final irrigants used: Group 1: 17% ethylenediamine tetra‐acetic acid (EDTA) + 2.5% NaOCl, Group 2: 7% maleic acid (MA) + 2.5% sodium hypochloride (NaOCl), Group 3: 1.3% NaOCl + mixture of tetracycline, acid and detergent (MTAD), Group 4: Smear Clear + 2.5% NaOCl, Group 5: 5% NaOCl, Group 6: saline. Vickers microhardness values were measured before and after treatment. In total, 42 root‐halves were prepared for scanning electron microscope to evaluate the amount of smear and erosion in the coronal, middle and apical thirds. Data were analysed using two‐way anova , Duncan and two‐proportion z‐tests. Maleic acid showed the greatest reduction in dentine microhardness (P < 0.05), followed by EDTA and MTAD. EDTA, maleic acid, MTAD and Smear Clear removed smear layer efficiently in the coronal and middle thirds of root canal. However, in the apical region, maleic acid showed more efficient removal of the smear layer than the other irrigants (P < 0.05).  相似文献

The purpose of this in vitro study was to compare the antimicrobial substantivity of BioPure MTAD, 2% chlorhexidine (CHX) and 2.6% sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) in human root dentin. One hundred and ten dentin tubes prepared from human maxillary incisors were infected in vitro for 14 days with Enterococcus faecalis. The specimens were divided into five groups as follows: CHX; BioPure MTAD; NaOCl; infected dentin tubes (positive control); and sterile dentin tubes (negative control). Dentin chips were collected with round burs into Brain Heart Infusion (BHI) broth. After culturing, the number of colony-forming units (CFU) was counted. In all experimental groups, CFU was minimum after treatment (day 0), and the results obtained were significantly different from each other at any time period (P < 0.05). After treatment, the NaOCI group and BioPure MTAD group showed the lowest and highest number of CFU, respectively. In each group, the number of CFUs increased significantly by time-lapse (P < 0.05). In conclusion, the substantivity of BioPure MTAD was significantly greater than CHX and NaOCl.  相似文献

Abstract

Objective: The purpose of this study was to compare the effects of five calcium hydroxide removal methods on the bond strength of Epiphany SE sealer after canal irrigation with NaOCl+EDTA or NaOCl+MTAD. Materials and methods: The 120 roots were instrumented by using the ProTaper rotary system under irrigation with 2.5% sodium hypochlorite and randomly divided into two major groups according to the final irrigation: 1.3% NaOCl + MTAD and 5% NaOCl + 17% EDTA. For controls, 10 roots from each of the final irrigations with NaOCl + MTAD and NaOCl + EDTA (20 roots) were not filled with Ca(OH)2. The intra-canal paste, Ca(OH)2 was applied to each of the 100 remaining roots and stored at 37°C for 7 days. Each group was sub-divided into five sub-groups (n = 10) according to the removal technique for the intra-canal dressing: Group-1: recapitulation with size 30 K file + 3 ml of saline solution, Group-2: recapitulation with size 30 K file + 3 ml of 5% NaOCl, Group-3: using 5% NaOCl + 17% EDTA, Group-4: using 5%NaOCl + 15% citric acid, and Group-5: using 1.3% NaOCl + 5 ml MTAD. The root canals were filled with Resilon and Epiphany SE sealer. The bond strength was measured. Results: The mean bond strength of Epiphany SE to root dentine irrigated with NaOCl + MTAD was lower than that of NaOCl + EDTA. The highest bond strengths were 3.31 ± 0.057 and 2.60 ± 0.054 in the NaOCl + citric acid group when Ca(OH)2 was applied to roots treated with NaOCl + EDTA and NaOCl + MTAD, respectively (p < 0.05). Conclusion: For root canals treated with NaOCl + EDTA or NaOCl + MTAD, the use of NaOCl + chelating agent for Ca(OH)2 removal does not adversely affect the bond strength of Epiphany SE to dentin.  相似文献

This in vitro study was performed to evaluate the effect of a diode laser and common disinfectants used in combination on mono-infected dental canals. One hundred and six single-rooted human premolars were prepared and contaminated with Enterococcus faecalis. After two weeks of incubation, samples were divided into two experimental groups (n = 48) and two control groups (n = 5). In the first group, the teeth were rinsed for 5 min with either sterile saline, 2.5% NaOCl, or MTAD, or for 1 min with 2% chlorhexidine gluconate (CHX). In the other group, samples were additionally irradiated with a 810-nm diode laser at 2 W output for 5 × 5 s. Intracanal bacterial sampling was done, and the samples were plated to determine the CFU count. In the first group, 2.5% NaOCl was as effective as 2% CHX and significantly more effective than MTAD (P < 0.008). In the second group, either MTAD, 2% CHX or 2.5% NaOCl in combination with laser treatment had a similar effect. Absence of growth was seen only for MTAD plus laser treatment. Complete elimination of E. faecalis was seen only for the combination of MTAD with diode laser irradiation. Combination therapy with MTAD irrigation and diode laser irradiation, within the parameters used in this study, can be recommended as an effective treatment option for complete elimination of E. faecalis from the root canal system.  相似文献

The objective of this study was to compare the antimicrobial activity of sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl), chlorhexidine gluconate (CHX) and octenidine hydrochloride (OCT) in different concentrations against endodontic pathogens in vitro. Agar diffusion procedure was used to determine the antimicrobial activity of the tested materials. Enterococcus faecalis, Candida albicans and the mixture of these were used for this study. In the agar diffusion test, 5.25% NaOCl exhibited better antimicrobial effect than the other concentrations of NaOCl for all strains. All concentrations of OCT were effective against C. albicans and E. faecalis. Some 0.2% CHX was ineffective on all microorganisms. Antibacterial effectiveness of all experimental solutions decreased on the mixture of all strains. Decreasing concentrations of NaOCl resulted in significantly reduced antimicrobial effect.  相似文献

The purpose of this study was to compare the antimicrobial efficacy of 1.3% NaOCl/BioPure MTAD to 5.25% NaOCl/15% EDTA for root canal irrigation. Twenty-six bilaterally matched pairs of human teeth were collected. The teeth were incubated with Enterococcus faecalis for 4 weeks. The teeth were divided into two experimental groups and one positive control group. The canals were instrumented and irrigated with either 5.25% NaOCl/15% EDTA or 1.3% NaOCl/BioPure MTAD. Bacterial samples were collected after instrumentation/irrigation and after additional canal enlargement. Statistical analysis of the data using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank test showed significant differences between the experimental groups. The first bacterial samples revealed growth in 0 of 20 samples with 5.25% NaOCl/15% EDTA irrigation and in 8 of 20 samples with 1.3% NaOCl/BioPure MTAD irrigation. Samples taken after additional canal enlargement revealed growth in 0 of 20 samples in 5.25% NaOCl/15% EDTA and in 10 of 20 samples in 1.3% NaOCl/BioPure MTAD group. This investigation showed consistent disinfection of infected root canals with 5.25% NaOCl/15% EDTA. The combination of 1.3% NaOCl/BioPure MTAD left nearly 50% of the canals contaminated with E. faecalis.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to compare the antimicrobial efficacy of 5.25% NaOCl, BioPure MTAD (Dentsply Tulsa Dental, Johnson City, TN), and Tetraclean (Ogna Laboratori Farmaceutici, Milano, Italy) against Enterococcus faecalis biofilm generated on cellulose nitrate membrane filters. After incubation, the membrane filters were transferred into tubes containing 5 mL of the selected antimicrobial solution test agent or NaCl 0.9% (positive control) and incubated for 5, 30, and 60 minutes at 20 degrees C. After each period of time, the test agents were vortexed for 60 seconds to resuspend the microorganisms. Ten-fold serial dilutions were generated in reduced transport fluid. Each dilution was plated onto a brain heart infusion plates. The plates were then incubated for 48 hours in an aerobic atmosphere at 37 degrees C and colony-forming units per membrane was calculated. Statistical analysis showed that only 5.25% NaOCl can disgregate and remove the biofilm at every time; however, treatment with Tetraclean caused a high degree of biofilm disgregation in every considered time intervals as compared with MTAD (T5 p < 0.05, T30 p < 0.01, and T60 p < 0.001).  相似文献

Aim To investigate, in vitro, the efficacy of sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl), super‐oxidized water (Sterilox® Optident, Ilkely, UK) and chlorhexidine gluconate (CHX) as endondontic irrigants using an extracted human tooth model in a cross over Latin square study design. Methodology Twelve extracted, human single rooted teeth were prepared for endodontic treatment using the modified double flare method to a master apical file size 40 K‐file. The roots and apices of all teeth were sealed using a dentine bonding agent. The teeth were mounted in cold cure silicone and placed in glass jars before autoclaving. An overnight sample of Enterococcus faecalis grown in brain heart infusion (BHI) was centrifuged and washed using phosphate buffered solution (PBS) before being suspended in fresh BHI. Optical density of the culture was adjusted to 0.1 units at 650 nm before inoculating 20 μL into the canals of the prepared teeth. Inoculated teeth were incubated at 37 °C for 48 h. The teeth were divided into four groups of three teeth, which were irrigated with NaOCl (1%), Sterilox, CHX (2%), and the control, PBS during cycles of experimentation. The teeth were irrigated using 5 × 200 μL of an endodontic irrigant using an electronic pipette, according to the Latin square. Irrigants were left in situ for 60 s after which teeth were flushed with PBS. Five size 40 sterile paper points were used to collect the microbial sample from the root canals. The number of viable bacteria recovered from the canals was determined through serial dilutions and plating of these onto nutrient agar. The logarithm of the colony forming units was used to carry out statistical analysis. The antimicrobial efficacy of the irrigants was compared using analysis of variance (anova ) and Tukey post‐hoc analysis at a significance level of P < 0.05 to determine whether there are differences in efficacy of the irrigants investigated. Results NaOCl, Sterilox and CHX were significantly more effective than the control, PBS, at reducing the bacterial load within the root canals. There was no significant difference between the efficacy of NaOCl, Sterilox and CHX in reducing bacterial load. Conclusion The study showed that using a cross over Latin square design eliminates bias in results due to the use of different teeth. NaOCl, Sterilox and CHX had a greater antibacterial efficacy that the control, PBS. Statistically there was no significant difference between NaOCl, Sterilox and CHX.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to investigate the extent of calcium ion (Ca2+) removal on root dentin after treatment with 1.25% NaOCl, 2.5% NaOCl, 5.25% NaOCl, 2% chlorhexidine (CHX), 2% iodine potassium iodide (IKI), and MTAD in 3 immersion time periods. Extracted human mandibular premolars were bisected longitudinally, and the root halves (n = 70) were isolated with nail varnish, leaving the root canal exposed. The specimens were immersed in the test solutions, during which the amount of Ca2+ release into the solutions was determined at 5, 10, and 15 minutes by flame photometry. The decalcifying effect of 5%, 2.5%, and 1.25% NaOCl and 2% IKI significantly increased within time (P < .05), with 5% NaOCl extracting the greatest amount of Ca2+ at all treatment times. For 2% CHX and distilled water, a significant increase in the amount of Ca2+ extraction from root dentin was only evident at 10 minutes (P < .05) and did not change at 15-minute readings. Between the 5- to 10-minute and 10- to 15-minute intervals, the greatest amount of increase in the rate of Ca2+ extraction from root dentin was observed in the 2.5% NaOCl group. At 15 minutes, 2% CHX and distilled water showed the least amount of change. Among the test solutions, MTAD extracted the least amount of Ca2+ at 5 minutes.  相似文献

J Oral Pathol Med (2011) 40 : 90–96 Objective: The aim of this study was to determine the antifungal activity of lawsone methyl ether mouthwash (LME) in comparison with chlorhexidine mouthwash (CHX) in vitro and in vivo. Materials and methods: For in vitro study, each mouthwash preparation was added into the inoculum of Candida. The turbidity was recorded after incubation at 37°C for 48 h. Candidal culture was performed and the number of colony of Candida albicans was recorded. For in vivo study, a crossover clinical trial was conducted in 22 HIV‐infected subjects and 32 denture wearers. Clinical examination was performed and oral rinse technique was carried out immediately before and 0, 1, 2 h after using each mouthwash. Allergy and subjective assessment of the mouthwashes were recorded. Statistical analysis was performed using one‐way ANOVA and linear mixed effect modeling. Results: In vitro, antifungal activity of 0.25% LME was significantly greater than that of 0.12% CHX (P < 0.05) and comparable with that of 0.2% CHX. In vivo, antifungal activity up to 2 hours of 0.025% LME mouthwash was evidenced in both groups of subjects, although significantly lower than that of 0.12% CHX. No allergic reaction was reported. LME mouthwash was graded to have less bitter taste than that of CHX. Subjects’ satisfaction on taste and smell of LME mouthwash was significantly greater than that of CHX (P < 0.05). Conclusions: Lawsone methyl ether mouthwash possesses potent antifungal activity both in vitro and in vivo. However, concentration of the mouthwash needs to be adjusted in addition to further clinical trials on long‐term use.  相似文献

IntroductionThe purpose of this study was to evaluate the microtensile bond strength of a total etch (XP-Bond) and a self-etch (Clearfil SE Bond) adhesive system to dentine surfaces treated using endodontic irrigants.MethodsTwenty-four freshly extracted third molars were used. After creating a smear layer on the coronal midthird portion of the crowns, the teeth were divided into three groups and surfaces were irrigated with distilled water, 5.25% NaOCl + 17% EDTA, and 1.3% NaOCl + BioPure MTAD, respectively. Each group was divided into two subgroups, and a self-etching adhesive and an etch-and-rinse adhesive were applied respectively. The teeth were restored with a composite material and sectioned to produce sticks for microtensile bond testing.ResultsThe microtensile bond strength of the MTAD + Clearfil SE group was found to be significantly lower than the microtensile bond strength of the distilled water + Clearfil SE Bond group and the NaOCl, EDTA, + Clearfil SE Bond group (p = 0.0001, p = 0.009).ConclusionsBecause of the significant reduction of Clearfil SE Bond to coronal dentine after MTAD application, an etch-and rinse adhesive such as XP-Bond may be preferred if this irrigant has been chosen during endodontic treatment.  相似文献

Objective:

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the action of sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) associated with an intracanal medication against Candida albicans and Enterococcus faecalis inoculated in root canals.

Material and Methods:

Thirty-six human single-rooted teeth with single root canals were used. The canals were contaminated with C. albicans and E. faecalis for 21 days and were then instrumented with 1% NaOCl. The roots were divided into 3 groups (n=12) according to the intracanal medication applied: calcium hydroxide paste, 2% chlorhexidine (CHX) gel, and 2% CHX gel associated with calcium hydroxide. The following collections were made from the root canals: a) initial sample (IS): 21 days after contamination (control), b) S1: after instrumentation, c) S2: 14 days after intracanal medication placement; S3: 7 days after intracanal medication removal. The results were analyzed statistically by the Kruskal-Wallis test at 5% significance level.

Results and Conclusions:

Both 1% NaOCl irrigation and the intracanal medications were effective in eliminating E. faecalis and C. albicans inoculated in root canals.  相似文献

Objective. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of various irrigating solutions and photoactivated disinfection (PAD) on the push-out bond strengths of fiber posts to root dentin. Materials and methods. Thirty-two human teeth were divided into eight groups, as follows: (1) irrigation with physiologic saline (control), (2) NaOCl irrigation, (3) chlorhexidine (CHX) irrigation, (4) ethanol (EtOH) irrigation, (5) NaOCl followed by 17% EDTA irrigation, (6) NaOCl-EDTA supplemented with CHX irrigation, (7) NaOCl-EDTA supplemented with EtOH irrigation and (8) NaOCl-EDTA irrigation supplemented with PAD. After the posts were cemented, the roots were transversally sectioned to obtain four slices (1 mm thick) (n = 16). Push-out tests were conducted by applying a load at 0.5 mm/min, types of fracture failures were recorded and data were analyzed with one-way ANOVA and Tukey post-hoc tests (p = 0.05). Results. Push-out bond strength was significantly affected by the type of irrigating solution and the disinfection protocol (p < 0.05). The bond strength of the EtOH, NaOCl and NaOCl-EDTA-CHX irrigated groups was significantly higher than that of the other groups. The highest bond strength was observed in the EtOH irrigated group and the lowest was the NaOCl-EDTA irrigated group. Conclusions. Irrigation with NaOCl and EDTA combined caused lower bond strength than observed in the control group. However, supplementing this combination with CHX improved the post-dentin bond strengths; supplementing with PAD did not.  相似文献

The purpose of this study was to compare the effect of MTAD (a mixture of a tetracycline isomer [doxycycline], an acid [citric acid], and a detergent [Tween 80]) and phosphoric acid on the bond strength to enamel and dentin using a conventional OptiBond Solo Plus dentin adhesive system. One hundred flat surfaces (50 enamel/50 dentin) were prepared for bonding. Specimens were embedded in acrylic with the flat surface exposed. One of the following surface treatments was applied before bonding composite with Optibond Solo Plus (Kerr Corp): 1 min NaOCl/1 min EDTA; 1 min NaOCl/1 min MTAD; 30 s etch with H3PO4 (positive control), 2 min saline (negative control), or 20 min NaOCl/5 min MTAD (clinical protocol for MTAD). Shear bond strength was tested 30 min after bonding. Data were analyzed using a one-way ANOVA followed by the Student-Newman-Keuls multiple comparison method. Surface pretreatment with acid etch resulted in the greatest enamel bond strengths (p < 0.05). All surface pretreatments were superior to saline for dentinal bonding (p < 0.05). On the basis of our findings, it appears that teeth endodontically treated with the MTAD protocol for clinical use (20 min 1.3% NaOCl/5 min MTAD) may not need any additional dentin conditioning before the application of the dental adhesive.  相似文献

IntroductionThis study compared the clinical and radiographic outcome of endodontic retreatment of teeth with apical periodontitis using either 1% sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) or 2% chlorhexidine digluconate (CHX) as the irrigant. The influence of residual infection detected by a molecular method on the outcome was also examined.MethodsFifty-two root-filled teeth with apical periodontitis were randomly assigned into 2 groups according to the irrigant used during retreatment. Root canal microbiological samples taken before (S1) and after (S2) preparation using either NaOCl or CHX irrigation and after calcium hydroxide medication (S3) were subjected to 16S ribosomal RNA gene-based real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) to quantify total bacteria. The periapical status was scored using the periapical index and dichotomized as healed (<3) or not healed (≥3) at the 1- and 4-year follow-up.ResultsForty-five (NaOCl, n = 20; CHX, n = 25) and 33 teeth (NaOCl, n = 16; CHX, n = 17) were available at the 1- and 4-year follow-up, respectively. After 1 year, 65% in the NaOCl group and 64% in the CHX group healed, with no differences between them (P > .05). At the later follow-up, the corresponding figures were 81% and 82%, respectively (P > .05). Canals that yielded qPCR-negative results in S3 had a higher healing rate (79%) than qPCR-positive canals (45%, P < .05). The mean bacterial load increased from S2 to S3 in half of the unhealed cases (P < .05). All S3-positive canals containing <3.12 × 103 bacterial cell counts healed. Increasing the apical level of the root canal filling influenced the outcome (P < .05).ConclusionsNo significant differences in the clinical outcome between 1% NaOCl and 2% CHX were found. Bacterial persistence at the time of filling as detected by qPCR significantly affected the outcome.  相似文献

Certain irrigants leave antimicrobial residues on dentine. This study assessed if residues from MTAD, Endo-CHX, Peridex Oral Rinse or 6% NaOCl were inactivated by exposure to simulated leakage. Extracted teeth (15/group) were cut and drilled to produce a cylindrical canal space. They were irrigated, dried with paper points and transferred into 1 mL of simulated leakage (Enterococcus faecalis in tryptic soy broth) every 24 h. After one, two or three transfers, the number of colony forming units was measured by drilling the canal space and recovering the dentine shavings in antimicrobial-inactivating broth. Two-way anova of the log-transformed data showed irrigation method, leakage volume and their interaction were significant factors (P < 0.001). Compared with the positive control, the logarithmic reductions in the number of E. faecalis colonies after the first and third millilitre of leakage were: Endo-CHX 6.2 and 2.4; MTAD 3.4 and 2.7; Peridex 1.6 and 0.4; NaOCl 1.0 and 0.0.  相似文献

This study evaluated the antimicrobial effectiveness of 6.5% Vitis vinifera grape seed extract (GSE) against Enterococcus faecalis biofilm using confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM). Saline solution (SS), 5.25% sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) and 2% chlorhexidine (CHX) were used for comparison. Dentin discs were inoculated with E. faecalis strain establishing a 3‐week‐old biofilm. Discs (n = 10) were exposed to 5.25% NaOCl, 2% CHX, 6.5% GSE and SS (negative control) for 10 min. Discs were stained with the fluorescent LIVE/DEAD‐BacLight? dye and analysed using CLSM. The proportion of dead cells in biofilm was analysed using one‐way anova and Tukey tests (P < 0.05). A higher proportion of dead cells was found in GSE group compared with CHX and SS (P < 0.05). NaOCl group was associated with the highest proportion of dead cells (P < 0.05). GSE presented antimicrobial activity against E. faecalis; however, NaOCl was the most effective irrigant solution. GSE was more effective than CHX and SS.  相似文献
