Although there are certain technical problems in determining nocturnal BP by ambulatory BP monitoring, the information provided on nocturnal BP has possible clinical significance. Short-term BP variability, an elevated BP during sleep and amplitude and sleep of nocturnal BP decline might be responsible for cardiovascular mortality. Furthermore, circadian BP variation might also be responsible for cardiovascular morbidity and mortality. The nocturnal BP level, even in extreme dippers with diurnal hypertension, is equivalent to or higher than that in normotensive subjects. Antihypertensive effects of drugs with different pharmacologic properties positively correlate with basal ambulatory BP. Therefore, there is a critical BP level at which the antihypertensive effect disappears. The critical BP level for each drug is in normal BP range but not in the hypotensive range. Therefore, an antihypertensive regimen would be safe even in extreme-dipper hypertension without excessive nocturnal hypotension, and might even be beneficial because of the decreasing amplitude and speed of the nocturnal BP decline. We conclude that an antihypertensive drug regimen should control BP throughout a 24-h period regardless of circadian BP variation.  相似文献

Blood pressure (BP) usually peaks in the morning. The circadian variation of the onset of cardiovascular disease mimics this circadian BP variation. To examine the determinants of the BP difference between the self-recorded BP in the morning (home BP) and daytime average ambulatory BP a cross sectional study was done in the general population of Ohasama, Japan. 1207 subjects ≥20 years measured both home (more than 14 times) and ambulatory BPs (326 treated for hypertension and 881 untreated subjects). The prevalence of subjects with the systolic BP difference (home BP in the morning?daytime ambulatory BP) of ≥10?mmHg (high morning BP) was 5.6% in untreated normotensives, 2.9% in untreated hypertensives, and 25.8% in treated hypertensives. This trend was also observed for diastolic pressure. Multiple regression analysis demonstrated that age, male sex, and use of antihypertensive drugs were positively associated and day-night difference of BP was negatively associated with the high morning BP, respectively. These results suggest an insufficient duration of antihypertensive action of widely used antihypertensive drugs in Japan from the 1980s to 1990s. The amplitude of the day-night difference of ambulatory BP in subjects with a high morning BP was lower (non-dipping) than that without high morning BP. The high morning BP is not necessarily accompanied by hypertension but might be mediated, at least in part, by an insufficient duration of action of antihypertensive drugs. The high morning BP accompanies so-called non-dipper pattern of circadian BP variation. An insufficient duration of action of drugs may partly mediate non-dipping in subjects with antihypertensive medication.  相似文献

Treatment of mild hypertension with an antihypertensive drug administered by means of a transdermal therapeutic system (TTS) could produce favorable results, when compared with a traditional oral regimen. Purpose: Using 24-h ambulatory blood pressure (BP) monitoring (ABPM) in mild hypertensive male subjects, to analyze three aspects which have not been completely clarified: a) whether a latency in the antihypertensive effect may be present, recording BP already from the first day of application of the patch, b) the eventual hazardous enhancement of circadian nocturnal fall in BP values in treated mild hypertensive patients and, c) the possible overlapping of antihypertensive effect between the administration of two consecutive patches. Subjects and methods: In 12 caucasian male outpatients (yrs 55 ± 3 SEM) with uncomplicated essential mild hypertension, a patch containing placebo was applied for the first week (T 0 period). At the end of the T 0 period, a 5 mg TTS-2 clonidine patch was applied for one week, and, subsequently, a new patch of 5 mg TTS-2 clonidine was kept for another week. ABPM was performed on the last day of the placebo period (T 0) and on the 1st day (T1), the 7th day (T2) and the 14th day (T3) of transdermal clonidine therapy. Results: Both systolic and diastolic BP (24 h mean, day-night-time) decreased on the 1st, 7th and 14th day, when compared with T0. However, no significant differences were documented between the BP levels on the 1st and the 7th day of treatment. The incidence of nocturnal fall in systolic and diastolic BP was evaluated and no significant differences were found, when compared with night-time reference values. Conclusions: When compared with the placebo period, TTS-2 clonidine lowers SBP and DBP within the first 24 hours of application. The antihypertensive effect persists at the end of the first week, as well as after 14 days. The lowest values of systolic-diastolic BP documented were not below the levels reported in normotensive men. Therefore, TTS-2 clonidine seems to act as an antihypertensive agent rather than a hypotensive drug since it normalizes BP without lowering it below physiological levels.  相似文献

There is scarce information regarding ambulatory blood pressure (BP) achieved in daily practice with a wide range of antihypertensive drug combinations. We looked for differences in office and ambulatory BP among major drug combinations of two and three antihypertensive agents from a different drugs class. A total of 17187 patients treated with six types of two-drug combinations and 9724 treated with six types of three-drug combinations from the Spanish ABPM Registry were analyzed. We compared achieved office and ambulatory BP, as well as office (< 140/90 mmHg) and ambulatory (24-hour BP < 130/80; day BP < 135/85, and night BP < 120/70 mmHg) BP control among groups. The combination of renin-angiotensin system (RAS) blockers with diuretics and the triple combination of RAS blockers with diuretics and calcium channel blockers (CCB) were associated with lower values of 24-hour, daytime and nighttime BP, as well as more pronounced nocturnal BP dip. Compared with such combinations (reference), other double combinations had lower rates of ambulatory BP control. Moreover, triple combinations containing alpha blockers also had lower rates of ambulatory BP control. We conclude that even with similar office BP control, differences exist among antihypertensive two-drug and three-drug combinations with respect to ambulatory BP control achieved during treatment, with RAS blockers/diuretics and RAS blockers/CCBs/diuretics obtaining better control rates. This can help physicians choose among drug combinations in order to obtain further ambulatory BP reductions.  相似文献

The difference in pulse pressure (PP) between peripheral arteries and the aorta, called pulse pressure amplification (PPamp), is a well-described physiological phenomenon independently associated with cardiovascular events. Recent studies suggest that it exhibits circadian variability. Our aim was to detect the factors associated with the circadian variability of PPamp. In 497 consecutive subjects (aged 54 years, 56.7% male, 79.7% hypertensives), we assessed the circadian pattern of peripheral and central arterial hemodynamics by 24-hour evaluation of brachial and aortic blood pressure (BP), augmentation index (AI), and pulse wave velocity (PWV) using a validated oscillometric device (Mobil-O-Graph). All parameters exhibited a circadian variation. Sleep dipping (decrease) pattern was observed for PPamp, brachial and aortic systolic BP, mean BP, and PWV, whereas a rising pattern (higher sleep than wake values) was observed for brachial PP, aortic PP, and AI. The factors independently associated with the less sleep dipping in PPamp were older age, lower height, the use of antihypertensive medication, and sleep decrease in arterial stiffness (PWV), whereas female gender, the presence of hypertension, sleep increase of pressure wave reflections (AI), sleep decrease in heart rate, and mean BP were associated with a greater sleep-dipping in PPamp. These data provide further pathophysiological understanding of the mechanisms leading to PPamp dipping. Several implications regarding the clinical use of the aortic and brachial BP, especially during sleep time, are raised that should be addressed in future research.  相似文献

OBJECTIVE: The C-344T polymorphism in the 5'-flanking region of the aldosterone synthase (CYP11B2) gene has been suggested to be associated with hypertension and disturbed circadian blood pressure (BP) rhythm through its effect on aldosterone synthesis. However, previous findings on this topic have been inconsistent. DESIGN: A cross-sectional study. SUBJECTS AND METHODS: We investigated the CYP11B2 C-344T genotype in 802 subjects, aged 40 and over, in a Japanese community, who gave written informed consent and were monitored for 24 h ambulatory BP. RESULTS: The frequencies of the CC, CT, and TT genotypes in these Japanese subjects were 0.14, 0.44, and 0.42, showing a higher frequency of the T allele (0.64) than in Caucasians. Although there was no significant difference in 24 h ambulatory BP levels among the genotypes, the nocturnal decline in BP was significantly greater in the CC homozygous subjects than in other subjects (P = 0.0065 for systolic and P = 0.031 for diastolic decline in nocturnal BP). Detailed analyses demonstrated that this association was significant only in aged (60 years and over) or male subjects. The prevalence of previous cardiovascular disease was significantly less in these subjects with the CC genotype than in those with the TC and TT genotypes, although age, body mass index, male gender, smoking, use of alcohol and antihypertensive medication did not differ among the three genotypes. There was no significant difference among the three genotypes in biochemical and hormonal parameters. CONCLUSION: Although the C-344 T polymorphism of CYP11B2 did not directly influence the level of 24 h BP, the CC genotype was associated with decreased nocturnal BP in elderly or male Japanese. Since prevalence of previous cardiovascular disease was significantly less in homozygous CC subjects, greater nocturnal BP decline in this genotype appears to be beneficial in the circadian BP rhythm.  相似文献

There is increasing evidence that disruption of diurnal blood pressure (BP) variation is a risk factor for hypertensive target organ damage and cardiovascular events. Especially, the risers (extreme non‐dippers), who exhibit a nocturnal BP increase compared with daytime BP, have the worst cardiovascular prognosis, both for stroke and cardiac events. On the other hand, extreme‐dippers (with marked nocturnal BP falls) are at risk for non‐fatal ischemic stroke and silent myocardial ischemia, particularly extreme‐dippers complicated with atherosclerotic arterial stenosis and excessive BP reduction due to antihypertensive medication. Extreme‐dipping status of nocturnal BP is closely associated with excessive morning BP surge and orthostatic hypertension. Hypertensive patients who have these conditions and exhibit marked BP variations are likely to have silent cerebral infarct and to be at high‐risk with regard to future stroke. Individualized antihypertensive medication targeting disrupted diurnal BP variation might thus be beneficial for such high‐risk hypertensive patients.  相似文献

Insulin resistance (IR) is related to arterial hypertension and target organ damage. Hypertensive individuals exhibiting a diminished nocturnal blood pressure (BP) reduction (non-dippers) have an increased incidence of cardiovascular events. The association, however, of IR with BP circadian variation has not been evaluated so far. Therefore, this study examined 226 (116 male and 110 female) overweight and obese subjects (BMI > 27kg/m2) with newly diagnosed essential hypertension who underwent clinical and laboratory evaluation, including an oral glucose tolerance test and ambulatory BP measurement (ABPM). IR was estimated using the homeostasis model assessment (HOMA-IR). The population was grouped according to HOMA-IR values > 2.75 (insulin resistance type) or < 2.75 (insulin sensitive type). Results. No significant differences were observed between dippers (n = 137) and non-dippers (n = 89) with respect to age, gender, BMI, serum cholesterol, triglycerides, LDL-C, and HDL-C levels, nor smoking habits. The proportion of IR subjects among dippers (59.1%) and non-dippers (56.7%) was similar (p = 0.833). Moreover, no significant association was found when the HOMA-IR was examined as a continuous component (p = 0.96). Conclusions. Insulin resistance is not associated with nocturnal blood pressure reduction in obese hypertensives. This may be explained by the notion that insulin secretion does not follow a circadian mode of variation.  相似文献

The accurate measurement, prediction and treatment of high blood pressure (BP) are essential issues in the management of hypertension. Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) has been shown to be superior to clinic BP measurements as ABPM can provide the following important information: (i) the mean BP levels, (ii) the diurnal variation in BP and (iii) the short-term BP variability. Among these parameters, there is increasing evidence that the mean nocturnal BP level is the most sensitive predictor of cardiovascular morbidity and mortality. Furthermore, several studies have shown that less nocturnal BP dipping, defined as less nocturnal BP decline relative to daytime BP, or a high night-day BP ratio was associated with poor prognosis irrespective of the 24-hour BP levels. These findings can be interpreted in at least two ways: namely, high nocturnal BP or less nocturnal BP dipping might be not only a potent risk factor for cardiovascular disease (CVD), but also a marker of pre-existing or concurrent diseases that can lead to nocturnal BP elevation. In this review, we consider the clinical utility of ABPM and in particular focus on the nocturnal BP levels or nocturnal BP dipping as a potent risk factor for CVD. In addition, the clinical management of high nocturnal BP and blunted nocturnal BP dipping with antihypertensive medications is discussed.  相似文献

Out‐of‐clinic blood pressure (BP) measurement, eg, ambulatory BP monitoring, has a strong association with target organ damage and is a powerful predictor of cardiovascular events compared with clinic BP measurement. Ambulatory BP monitoring can detect masked hypertension or various BP parameters in addition to average 24‐hour BP level. Short‐term BP variability assessed by standard deviation or average real variability, diminished nocturnal BP fall, nocturnal hypertension, and morning BP surge assessed by ambulatory BP monitoring have all been associated with target organ damage and cardiovascular prognosis. Recently, the authors compared the degree of sleep‐trough morning BP surge between a group of Japanese and a group of Western European untreated patients with hypertension and found that sleep‐trough morning BP surge in Japanese persons was significantly higher than that in Europeans. Although Asian persons have been known to have a higher incidence of stroke than heart disease, the difference in characteristics of BP indices assessed by ambulatory BP monitoring might be the cause of racial differences in stroke incidence between Asian and Western populations. This review focuses on Asian characteristics for the management of hypertension using ambulatory BP monitoring.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Liver transplantation remains the only therapeutic method in end-stage liver disease. Cardiovascular system diseases, including arterial hypertension, are considered one of the main risk factors increasing mortality in this population. The aim of the study was the evaluation of circadian blood pressure patterns in liver transplant recipients. In a group of 107 liver transplant recipients, a 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) was performed. The ABPM revealed arterial hypertension in 88.79% and unsatisfactory blood pressure (BP) control in 71.03% of the study participants. The abnormal circadian BP pattern was observed in 90.65% of liver recipients. The subgroup of patients with preserved BP circadian rhythm was characterized by higher standard deviation (SD) and coefficient of variation (CV) values for 24-hour systolic, diastolic and mean arterial blood pressure (SBP, DBP, and MAP). There were no such differences for other short-term blood pressure variability (ST BPV) parameters: SD and CV of day-time and night-time SBP, DBP and MAP values. Arterial hypertension and circadian BP abnormalities are present in a majority of liver transplant recipients. BP circadian rhythm is not associated with ST BPV parameters assessed separately during awake and sleep period which suggests that both groups of parameters could reflect different cardiovascular phenomena after liver transplantation.  相似文献

Data about circadian blood pressure (BP) in normotensive patients with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) are lacking. Thus, we sought to compare dipper and nondipper circadian variation of BP profile between normotensive women complicated with GDM and normal pregnant women. Forty-two women with GDM and 33 normal uncomplicated pregnant women who met the entry criteria for the study were enrolled in the study. Twenty-four-hour noninvasive ambulatory blood pressure monitoring and echocardiography to measure the left ventricle mass index and diastolic parameters were performed. Nocturnal blood pressure dipping was calculated as follows: (awake BP – sleep BP) × 100/awake BP. Patients with a nocturnal reduction in average daytime systolic BP and diastolic BP of less than 10% were classified as nondippers. Left ventricle mass index was higher in normotensive pregnant women with GDM group than in normal pregnant subjects (101.98 ± 24 g/m2 vs. 90.67 ± 15 g/m2, P < .018). Significant nocturnal systolic and diastolic nondippings were observed in GDM groups compared with normal subjects. From diastolic variables, the mitral E velocity and isovolumetric relaxation time were compatible with diastolic dysfunction relaxation abnormalities (P = .003 and P = .015, respectively) in nondipper group. From all confounding factors, only E velocity (P = .002) and diagnosis of GDM (P < .001) were predictive of nondipper circadian variation. This study shows that (i) circadian BP is impaired in normotensive pregnant subjects with GDM, (ii) the left ventricle mass index is higher in pregnant subjects with GDM than in normal pregnant subjects who despite a 24-hour BP are within normal limits, and (iii) in nocturnal nondipper group, the tendency to having diastolic relaxation abnormalities is noted.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: The aim of the study was to evaluate diurnal blood pressure (BP) profiles in patients with primary aldosteronism and to compare them to those in subjects with essential hypertension. The effects of specific therapy on the circadian BP profiles have been studied. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Sixty-four patients with primary aldosteronism were included in the study. Thirty of them revealed an aldosterone-producing adenoma (APA) and 34 had idiopathic hyperaldosteronism (IHA) due to bilateral adrenal hyperplasia. RESULTS: We did not find any significant differences in ambulatory BP monitoring (ABPM) between patients with APA and IHA. However, the circadian BP variation in the patients with primary hyperaldosteronism due to APA was preserved, while the patients with IHA showed lower nocturnal decline in comparison with patients with essential hypertension. There was a significant decline in office and ambulatory BP levels after treatment in the patients with both APA and IHA. The awake-sleep BP difference in patients with APA remained unchanged after surgical treatment, while in patients with IHA the night-time systolic and diastolic BP decline was significantly higher after spironolactone treatment. CONCLUSIONS: Primary hyperaldosteronism due to APA was associated with normal circadian BP variability and the surgical treatment led to highly significant decline in all BP parameters but had no influence on the extent of nocturnal BP variation. Spironolactone therapy restored normal nocturnal BP decline in patients with IHA. Reduction of night-time BP decline in patients with IHA is more likely to be related to the duration of the disease rather than to the aldosterone levels.  相似文献

We evaluated the effect of barnidipine, a dihydropyridine calcium antagonist, administered once daily in the morning in a dose of 5, 10, or 15 mg on ambulatory blood pressure (BP) in 34 patients (51.3 ± 9.6 years). Hypertension was diagnosed based on the clinic BP. The patients were classified into groups according to the ambulatory BP: group 1, dippers with true hypertension; group 2, nondippers with true hypertension; group 3, dippers with false hypertension; and Group 4, nondippers with false hypertension. Barnidipine reduced the clinic systolic BP (SBP) and diastolic BP (DBP) in all groups and significantly reduced the average 24 h ambulatory BP (133.0 ± 16.5/90.7 ± 12.3 mm Hg v 119.7 ± 13.7/81.8 ± 10.3 mm Hg, P < .0001 for both SBP and DBP). Barnidipine significantly reduced the daytime ambulatory SBP in groups 1, 2, and 3, but not in group 4, and significantly reduced daytime ambulatory DBP in group 1 but not in groups 2, 3, and 4. Barnidipine significantly reduced the nighttime ambulatory SBP only in group 2 and the nighttime ambulatory DBP in groups 2 and 4. Once-a-day administration of barnidipine influenced 24 h BP on true hypertensives (the ratio of the trough to peak effect > 50%), but had minimal effect on low BP such as the nocturnal BP in dippers and the ambulatory BP in false hypertensives. These findings suggest that barnidipine can be used safely in patients with isolated clinic (“white coat”) hypertension and in those with dipping patterns of circadian BP variation whose nocturnal BP is low before treatment.  相似文献

For many years, it has been evident that ambulatory blood pressure monitoring is superior to the measurement of office blood pressure as a predictor of target-organ involvement in patients with hypertension. Until recently, there were far fewer data on the relationship between 24 h ambulatory blood pressure and cardiovascular outcomes such as myocardial infarction, stroke, and cardiovascular death. In 1983, Perloff et al. published their seminal report on awake ambulatory blood pressure as a predictor of cardiovascular outcomes. During the 16 years that have passed since that publication, several additional prospective ambulatory blood pressure studies have been completed, in five different countries. The basis for all these investigations has been to assess the predictive value of ambulatory blood pressure as a determinant of either cardiovascular morbidity (myocardial infarction, cerebrovascular accidents, and vascular surgical procedures) or mortality. With the exception of the Systolic Hypertension in Europe (Syst-Eur) trial, all these studies have been uncontrolled for therapeutic interventions. Typically, the average follow-up period for each trial has been 3-9 years. All these studies have shown that ambulatory blood pressure is a much better predictor of cardiovascular events than the standard office or clinic pressure. In addition, hypertensive patients whose nocturnal (or sleep) blood pressure remains high (that is, those who have a 'non-dipper' circadian blood pressure profile) have a worse outcome than patients whose nocturnal blood pressure decline is at least 10%. These data all support the desirability of increased utilization of 24 h ambulatory blood pressure monitoring in clinical trials of antihypertensive drugs and in the management of hypertensive patients in clinical practice.  相似文献

目的探讨在老老年(≥80岁)原发性高血压患者中,动态血压状况与脑白质病变(WML)的相关性。方法我们回顾性地选取了高血压患者共130例,均行头颅磁共振检查和动态血压监测,并同时收集患者的临床和实验室数据,并应用年龄相关的脑白质视觉评定法评分将患者分为三组:轻度WML,中度WML,重度WML。结果在三组患者之间,夜间平均收缩压、夜间平均舒张压及夜间血压下降率的差异有统计学意义;并且与轻度WML组相比,中度WML和重度WML组患者非杓型血压的发生率显著升高。进一步的多因素logistic回归分析示,夜间舒张压升高和夜间血压下降率减小是WML的独立的危险因素。结论在老老年原发性高血压患者中,夜间血压异常升高以及昼夜节律的异常在WML的进展中起重要作用。  相似文献

The impact of a nondipping blood pressure (BP) pattern, defined as (awake systolic BP – sleep systolic BP)/awake systolic BP < 0.1, on cardiovascular events in populations with different degrees of carotid atherosclerosis is uncertain. The authors hypothesized that a nondipping BP pattern would show differential predictive power for cardiovascular events, including total cardiovascular death, sudden death, nonfatal cardiovascular events, and nonfatal stroke, between populations with and without carotid atherosclerosis. To test this hypothesis, the authors analyzed 493 patients (mean age 67.9 years, 47.5% men) from the J‐HOP (Japan Morning Surge‐Home Blood Pressure) study for whom ambulatory BP monitoring and carotid intima‐media thickness data were available. Twenty‐nine cardiovascular events occurred during follow‐up (1867 person‐years). A nondipping BP pattern was independently associated with cardiovascular events in the population without carotid atherosclerosis, defined as carotid intima‐media thickness < 1.1 mm after adjustment for other cardiovascular risk factors including age, sex, diabetes mellitus, chronic kidney disease, and 24‐hour systolic BP (hazard ratio, 8.15; 95% confidence interval, 1.76–37.78 [P < .01]). This association was not found in the population with carotid intima‐media thickness ≥ 1.1 mm. Therefore, in the hypertensive population without carotid atherosclerosis, physicians should consider ambulatory BP monitoring to determine the nocturnal BP pattern as an alternative approach to assessing cardiovascular events.  相似文献

Masked hypertension is reported to have the same level of hazard risk of cardiovascular mortality and stroke morbidity as sustained hypertension. The number of managerial employees suffering from cardiovascular disease and stroke is known to be greater than other employee. The aim of this study was to compare the 24-h blood pressure (BP) recordings between elderly male managerial employees and retirees and to propose a strategy for identifying masked hypertension. A total of 38 males (16 managerial employees aged 50–69 years and 22 retirees aged 60–65 years) who were not taking any antihypertensive medications participated in this study. Their 24-h BP was measured by an ambulatory BP monitoring device. Daytime (9:00–17:00 h) BPs of the employees (mean, 139/92 mm Hg) were significantly higher than in the retirees (mean 124/80 mm Hg), while there was no difference in BP before and during sleep. In all, 5 of 16 employees (31%) who were diagnosed as normotensive (<140/90 mm Hg) at a periodic health check had hypertension (>135/85 mm Hg) in the morning measured by ambulatory BP monitoring, while 6 (38%) had a similar level of hypertension during the daytime (9:00–17:00h). These individuals were diagnosed as having masked hypertension. Multiple regression analyses showed that the job was the only factor that contributed to the difference in BP in the subjects during the daytime. This finding suggested that job stress seemed to be one of the main causes of masked hypertension. We argue that more frequent measurements of BP at the work place are necessary to identify subjects with masked hypertension.  相似文献

Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a risk of hypertension and is associated with cardiovascular disease (CVD) incidence. In Asian countries, the prevalence of OSA is high, as in Western countries. When blood pressure (BP) is evaluated in OSA individuals using ambulatory BP monitoring (ABPM), the BP phenotype often indicates abnormal BP variability, such as increased nighttime BP or abnormal diurnal BP variation, that is, non‐dipper pattern, riser pattern, and morning BP surge, and all these conditions have been associated with increased CVD events. Asians have a higher prevalence of increased nighttime BP or morning BP surge than Westerners. Therefore, this review paper focused on OSA and hypertension from an Asian perspective to investigate the importance of the association between OSA and hypertension in the Asian population. Such abnormal BP variability has been shown to be associated with progression of arterial stiffness, and this association could provoke a vicious cycle between abnormal BP phenotypes and arterial stiffness, a phenomenon recognized as systemic hemodynamic atherothrombotic syndrome (SHATS). OSA may be one of the background factors that augment SHATS. An oxygen‐triggered nocturnal oscillometric BP measurement device combined with a pulse oximeter for continuous SpO2 monitoring could detect BP variability caused by OSA. In addition to treating the OSA, accurate and reliable detection and treatment of any residual BP elevation and BP variability caused by OSA would be necessary to prevent CVD events. However, more detailed detection of BP variability, such as beat‐by‐beat BP monitoring, would further help to reduce CV events.  相似文献
