This paper investigates the relationship between saving and health spending in a two-period overlapping generations economy. Individuals work in the first period of life and live in retirement in old age. Health spending is an activity that increases quality of life and longevity. Empirical evidence shows that both health spending and saving behave as luxury goods but their behaviour differs markedly according to the level of per capita GDP. The share of saving on GDP has a concave shape with respect to per capita GDP, whereas the share of health spending on GDP increases more than proportionally with respect to per capita GDP. The ratio of saving to spending is nonlinear with respect to income, i.e. first increasing and then decreasing. This ratio, in the proposed model, is equal to the ratio between the elasticity of the utility function with respect to saving and the elasticity of the utility function with respect to health. 相似文献

目的:构建医院无线网络,并对无线网络技术进行分析研究。方法:通过分析无线网络的特点和具有的巨大优势,搭建一个以有线网络为基础的无线网络架构,阐述医院无线网络的应用。结果:无线网络具有网络建设快捷、数据无纸化传递及无纸化查房等优点,医院采用三层无线网络架构,构建了TrapezeMP-422型AP配合TrapezeMX-200R型无线交换机的组网。结论:无线业务在医院广泛应用于无线查房、无线输液系统以及无线护理监控等,具有方便灵活、可扩展性及可靠性等优点,是医院未来信息化发展的趋势。 相似文献

目的:设计内窥镜无线采集系统,用于内窥镜检查的图像采集。方法:内窥镜无线采集系统的发射端和接收端均采用单片机STC12LE2052AD为主控制芯片,nRF24L01为无线传输模块,采集图像时按下发射模块的按键,霍尔传感器接通后发射模块输出无线信号,接收模块收到信号后三极管接通,通过采集软件功能完成图像的采集,对300例患者分别进行电子胃镜检查(100例)、喉镜检查(100例)和腹腔镜检查(100例),并进行图像采集测试。结果:设计的内窥镜无线采集系统,经临床对患者的电子胃镜、喉镜和腹腔镜检查各100例的图像采集测试,系统能够采集到各内窥镜检查的清晰图像,实现内窥镜无线图像采集时操作简单、故障率低和系统性能稳定,可满足临床科室的使用。结论:内窥镜无线采集系统适用于内窥镜检查的图像采集,提高内窥镜检查系统采集图像的自由度,降低内窥镜采集系统的故障和医疗风险。 相似文献

Wireless computing, when integrated with the Web, is poised to revolutionize the practice and teaching of medicine. As vendors introduce wireless Web technologies in the medical community that have been used successfully in the business and consumer markets, clinicians can expect profound increases in the amount of patient data, as well as the ease with which those data are acquired, analyzed, and disseminated. The enabling technologies involved in this transformation to the wireless Web range from the new generation of wireless PDAs, eBooks, and wireless data acquisition peripherals to new wireless network protocols. The rate-limiting step in the application of this technology in medicine is not technology per se but rather how quickly clinicians and their patients come to accept and appreciate the benefits and limitations of the application of wireless Web technology. 相似文献

BACKGROUND: It has been suggested that year-round daylight saving would reduce road traffic injuries. METHODS: and results Using 15 years of police data from north-east England, we estimate that 6.9 (95 per cent CI 1.5-12.6) fewer serious or fatal road traffic injuries to child pedestrians would have occurred in this area over this period had year-round daylight saving operated (equivalent to 0.5 per year). CONCLUSION: The results suggest that operating daylight saving year-round would have a small but tangible effect on the number of serious and fatal road traffic injuries in children in this area. Further work is required to assess the community wide impact of year round daylight saving. 相似文献

目的:设计一种无线监护系统,可以使医护人员远程监控患者睡眠呼吸暂停综合征的发生。方法:把信号检测和ZigBee无线网络技术结合起来,由CC2430控制单元将采集到的睡眠呼吸信号以射频方式进行发送和接收,接收到的数据送到PC进行处理和显示,监护终端可以实时监测患者睡眠情况。结果:该系统实现了呼吸信号的无线传输与监护,使患者摆脱了电极连线的束缚,不影响睡眠质量。结论:该系统具有体积小、功耗低的特点,为社区医疗远程监护提供了一种新的思路。 相似文献
