Laser Doppler holography (LDH) is a full-field blood flow imaging technique able to reveal human retinal and choroidal blood flow with high temporal resolution. We here report on using LDH in the anterior segment of the eye without making changes to the instrument. Blood flow in the bulbar conjunctiva and episclera as well as in corneal neovascularization can be effectively imaged. We additionally demonstrate simultaneous holographic imaging of the anterior and posterior segments by simply adapting the numerical propagation distance to the plane of interest. We used this feature to track the movements of the retina and pupil with high temporal resolution. Finally, we show that the light backscattered by the retina can be used for retro-illumination of the anterior segment. Hence digital holography can reveal opacities caused by absorption or diffusion in the cornea and eye lens.  相似文献

BackgroundThe p64MW HPC and p48MW HPC flow diverters have reduced thrombogenicity due to hydrophilic coating. The purpose of this study was to evaluate its safety and efficacy in Mongolian patients under single antiplatelet therapy (SAPT) with prasugrel.Materials and methodsWe performed a retrospective review of patients enrolled into our prospectively maintained database to identify all patients treated with either the p48MW HPC or p64MW HPC under SAPT. We recorded baseline demographics, aneurysm size and location, procedural complications, angiographic and clinical results.Results24 patients, (female = 21, 87.5%), age 48.2 ± 11.6 years (range 25–63) underwent treatment of 30 aneurysms with either p64MW HPC or p48MW HPC. All aneurysms were saccular with dome width 8.2 ± 6.5 (range 1.6–26.0 mm) and dome height 7.6 ± 6.7 (range 1.6–30.0 mm). None of the aneurysms were previously treated. The average PRU was 54.6 ± 31.2 (range 1–127) on pre-operative VerifyNow testing. Angiographic follow-up was available for 13 patients (17 aneurysms), 183 ± 36 days post-procedure, at which point 64.7% of aneurysms (n = 11/17) were completely occluded and 11.8% (n = 2/17) had only neck remnants resulting in 76.5% of aneurysms being adequately occluded A single intra-operative complication (4.2%) occurred however all patients were mRS ≤1 at last follow-up. There were two post-operative complications neither of which resulted in permanent neurological morbidity. There were no instances of post-operative aneurysmal rupture or delayed parenchymal haemorrhage. The overall mortality was 0%.ConclusionThe efficacy and safety of p64MW HPC coated devices under SAPT is similar to uncoated flow diverters that require DAPT.  相似文献

[Purpose] The purpose of this study was to evaluate the functioning, extent of activity, and participation of school-aged children with cerebral palsy (CP) using the Manual Ability Classification System (MACS). [Subjects and Methods] The Subjects were 57 school-aged children (7–12 years old) with CP. The MACS, Gross Motor Function Measure (GMFM), International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health for Children and Youth (ICF-CY) Checklist, and a questionnaire were used to measure children’s functioning, activity, and participation. [Results] GMFM scores differed significantly across the MACS levels. The following differed significantly according to MACS level when assessed with the ICF-CY function section: mental functions; sensory function and pain; voice and speech functions; functions of the digestive, metabolic, and endocrine systems; genitourinary and reproductive function; and neuromusculoskeletal and movement related function. The data from the activities and participation section of the ICF-CY also showed statistically significant differences across MACS levels. [Conclusion] These results suggest that the functioning, activity, and participation of school-aged children with CP depend on their MACS level and that the functioning of children with CP affects their activities and participation.Key words: Cerebral palsy, Manual Ability Classification System, ICF-CY  相似文献

[Purpose] The purpose of our study was to investigate the effects of isometric exercises using electromyographic biofeedback (EMGBF) and ultrasound biofeedback (USBF) on maximum voluntary isometric contraction (MVIC), pain assessed by the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS), and vastus medialis oblique (VMO) thickness in patients with knee osteoarthritis (OA). [Subjects and Methods] Thirty females over 65 years of age who had been diagnosed with knee osteoarthritis were recruited and randomly assigned to three groups, each comprising of 10 subjects. The Subjects in the EMGBF training and USBF training groups were trained with the corresponding physical training exercise program targeting the vastus medialis oblique, whereas the subjects in the control group were treated with conventional physical therapies, such as a hot pack, ultrasound, and transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation. Subjects in each group were trained or treated for 20 min, 3 times a week for 8 weeks. [Results] The MVIC in the EMGBF and USBF training groups was significantly increased compared with that in the control group, and the VAS score (for measurement of pain) in the EMGBF and USBF training groups was significantly decreased compared with that in the control group. Only the EMGBF training group showed a significantly increased VMO thickness compared with before training. [Conclusion] These results suggest that USBF training is similar to EMGBF training in terms of its effectiveness and is helpful for treating patients with knee OA.Key words: Conventional physical therapy, Electromyographic biofeedback, Ultrasound biofeedback  相似文献
