Medical equipment displayed at the "Healthcare-2003" exhibition, that was most representative in the recent years, is surveyed in the paper including the most novel medical devices and apparatuses as well as X-Ray, radiological, intensive-care and neonatal equipment. Besides, outfit for diagnostics, ophthalmology and dentistry, laboratory medical equipment, medical instruments, technological medical equipment and portable medical devices were demonstrated at the exhibition. Therefore, considering the diversity of medical equipment displayed, any medical facility in Russia would be able to choose the devices it needs.

The paper presents a review of medical equipment displayed at the 11th International Exhibition "Public Health, Medical Equipment, and Drugs" ("Public Health-2001"). The exhibition was held in Moscow on December 3-7, 2001.

The conclusion is that an extensive range of medical equipment is represented at the exhibition; any medical institution would be able to choose their instruments it needs.

随着社会进步与时代发展带来了不少利于总量增加的因素,诸如新技术应用使各种设备检查适应症有所扩展、医疗手段进步使疾病检出率提高,从而带来更多的大型设备如DSA、LA治疗量、大型医用设备价格降低减少配置成本使回收周期相应缩短等。但是除了这些激励性因素外,还应该注意到一些风险性因素也确实存在。全文主要分析几种可能出现的风险性因素。提示在制定地方大型医用设备配置规划时需要注意两权相轻、综合考虑。     

A survey of environmental safety issues at 20 medical clinics

In the study described in this article, the authors performed safety walk-throughs or inspections for 20 clinics located both inside a major medical center clinic (onsite) and away from the main clinic site (offsite). A checklist was used to evaluate compliance with institutional, local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations. The results obtained at onsite clinics were compared with the results from offsite clinics. Findings suggested no overall difference in the number of yes (desirable) answers. A marginally significant difference, however, was observed between the onsite and offsite clinics with regard to knowledge of infection control and waste/infection control questions. The walk-throughs helped create an improved working relationship between clinic personnel and environmental safety personnel, allowed for correction of safety issues, enabled an informal training opportunity, and increased institutional compliance with guidelines and regulations.

A controller for medical equipment

The structure and parameters of a universal module designed for the control systems of medical devices are presented in the paper. An example of applying the module with an actual medical device, i.e. the humidifier of medical gases, is described.     

A survey of fluoroscopic equipment in Victoria

A survey of fluoroscopic units in the state of Victoria has been carried out. For fixed fluoroscopy equipment, routine quality assurance tests were carried out on the x-ray tube used for conventional radiographs, and factors relating to image quality and patient dose were measured for the screening tube. For the mobile image intensifiers, quality assurance tests were carried out and factors relating to image quality and patient dose were measured. There was a ratio of about 20 in the dose rates between the units with the highest and lowest screening dose rates with the same size phantom. Guidance levels based on the third quartile values of the entrance dose rates and spot film doses are recommended. The recommended guidance doses are: mobile image intensifier: dose rate: 30 mGy/min; fixed screening unit: dose rate: 42 mGy/min and spot film: 5 mGy.     

Designing and manufacturing of medical equipment by OAO MNPK "Avionika"

The paper is dedicated to the activity of Research and Production Enterprise "Avionika", a leader in the field of designing and manufacturing of medical equipment. Technical data of medical suction units produced by the enterprise were comparatively analyzed versus those made by other manufacturers. Additionally, failures of suction equipment were analyzed and technical solutions enhancing the operational safety are suggested. Promising trends are defined for perfecting the discussed equipment type.     

介入放射学设备参考点剂量显示值与实测值的比较与评估研究

目的 通过测量介入放射学设备透视时的介入参考点剂量和设备显示剂量的关系,验证设备显示剂量的准确性,评估使用显示介入参考点剂量来指导医师进行辐射防护最优化的合理性。方法 选择两台不同品牌的平板探测器介入放射学设备,分别记录为设备A和设备B。分别将30 cm×30 cm,厚20 cm的PMMA模体和不同厚度铜板组合,放置在平板探测器一侧,使用unfors Xi剂量仪的RF探头测量介入参考点位置的剂量率,比较介入参考点位置入射剂量测量值与设备显示值。使用不同厚度模体测量介入参考点的剂量率,拟合每mA·min输出量与kV的关系。结果 对于设备A,设备显示剂量率和现场实测剂量率的偏差在6%以内;而对于设备B,设备显示剂量率和现场实测剂量率的偏差达到85.6%及以上。设备每mA·min输出量,与kV成幂指数关系。结论 介入放射学医技人员应该意识到介入放射学的X射线系统所显示的参考剂量的准确性,对介入放射学设备定期进行验证和质量控制,以保证显示剂量的准确性和可参考性。介入医师和技师可以利用设备显示剂量估计患者体表受照剂量的水平,避免患者发生确定性效应。
