目的:分析图书馆服务满意度的影响因素,为今后更好地开展医院图书馆患者服务提供借鉴和思路。方法:对221例住院患者提供健康信息服务并对服务患者进行满意度调查。采用Logistic回归模型分析患者相关特征,以及图书馆服务需求及满意情况的影响因素;采用IPA法评价图书馆开展患者服务的满意度情况。采用SPSS 19.0统计软件进行分析。结果:不同性别、年龄和受教育程度对图书馆服务的重要性和满意度影响差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。总体重要性和满意度均较高;通过IPA法分析,发现患者虽然认为图书馆个性书目的定制和科室自编的健康小册子重要性高,但满意度却较低。结论:患者对图书馆开展信息服务的总体满意度较好,但是对个性书目的制定和健康小册子的编制表现为高重要性和低满意度,因此仍需提高图书馆员的服务能力,鼓励更多的医务人员参与到为患者提供信息服务工作中。  相似文献

目的:本研究在患者需求调查的基础上,为患者开展患者服务,并分析图书馆服务满意度的影响因素,为今后更好地开展医院图书馆患者服务提供借鉴和思路。方法:对2015年11月至2016年10月期间于绍兴市人民医院康复科和放疗科住院的患者开展信息服务,并对服务患者进行满意度调查。采用logistic回归模型分析患者相关特征与图书馆服务需求及满意情况的影响因素;采用IPA法评价图书馆开展患者服务的满意度情况。所有统计分析采用SPSS19.0统计软件,显著性水平为P<0.05。结果:图书馆共对221例患者提供信息服务,并进行满意度调查,回收有效问卷220份,其中男151例(68.6%),女69例(31.4%)。不同性别、年龄和受教育程度对图书馆服务的重要性和满意度影响差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。总体重要性和满意度均较高,均值分别为4.28和4.80;通过IPA法分析,Q3(图书馆为您制定个性书目)和Q5(科室提供自编健康小册子)表现为高重要性低满意度,应当集中精力解决。结论:患者对图书馆开展信息服务的总体满意度较好,但是对个性书目的制定和健康小册子的编制表现为高重要性和低满意度,仍需提高图书馆员的服务能力和鼓励更多的医务人员参与。  相似文献

It remains unclear what patient advocacy actually entails and what values it ought to embody. It will be useful to ascertain whether advocacy means supporting any decision the patient makes, or if the advocate can claim to represent the patient by asserting well-intentioned paternalistic claims on the patient's behalf. This is especially significant because the position of advocate brings with it certain privileges on the basis of of presumed insight into patient-perceived interests, namely, entitlement to take part in clinical decision making and increased professional standing. Three issues related to patient advocacy will be explored: are patient advocates necessary; what does advocacy entail, and who ought to represent patients in this way-arguments for and against prospective candidates will also be covered. The paper considers whether advocates are necessary since not only can they be dangerously paternalistic, but the salutary values advocacy embodies are already part of good professional health care.  相似文献

This paper details the development of a simple webcam joystick, a wireless, or rather cableless, and contactless pointing device by using a webcam and a simple flexible non-electronic joystick. Such a system requires no power source on the joystick, allows for light, robust and very mobile joysticks, and can be extended into a large array of applications. This paper proposes the use of small webcam joysticks as sensors for recording movement, the way wireless sensors are used. Specifically, it could be used as a simple navigation and monitoring system for patient movement in medical wards, where knowledge of patient location and movement could provide instant assistance, pre-emptive action and also hinder untoward patient mix-ups. Experiments and discussions in this paper highlight how a successful implementation is possible, and emphasize the flexibility of such an implementation in a low cost medical environment.  相似文献

The objective of this paper is to present a mathematical model for flexible staff planning when patient demands are uncertain and adjustable. The demand level before adjustment is considered a distribution on a daily basis. The adjustment is done by increasing or decreasing the average and the standard deviation of the daily demand level, with the assumption that the total patient demands for a week are identical. The adjustment of patient demands can be achieved by cooperating with an inpatient admission system to control the patient mix and the variation of an admitted census. Then, the nursing workforce can accommodate patient needs efficiency and economically with quality assurance in an uncertain demand environment.  相似文献

We report our experience of obstetric handling of a deaf pregnant patient antenatally, in labor and postpartum. The patient was deaf from childhood. The attending obstetrician had no training in the necessary skills for communication with the deaf. Fortunately, the patient could read and write English very well and communication was carried out through pen and paper. This proved to be difficult, time-consuming and required a lot of patience. The clinical, psychological and human aspects of the management were gratifying. The patient brought up interesting aspects that need to be considered when dealing with similar patients. Experience of deaf mothers and their ingenious approaches in dealing with babies, in the postpartum period, are quoted in this communication.  相似文献

This paper examines confidentiality and its nature and analyses the guidelines laid down by the Hippocratic Oath as well as the British and World Medical Associations for maintaining such confidentiality between doctor and patient. There are exceptions to practically any code of rules and this is true also for confidentiality. Some of these exceptions make it appear that very little is confidential. The three values implicit in confidentiality would seem to be privacy, confidence and secrecy. Each of these values is discussed and developed in this paper. In conclusion, the question is suggested that maybe in the face of death, doctor and patient need to re-examine the pre-suppositions of privacy, confidence and secrecy on which the confidential relationship is based.  相似文献

When a patient visits his doctor there is, as well as a spoken dialogue, also an unspoken, or tacit, dialogue between them. This may not be evident unless that dialogue breaks down when the psychological or moral terms of reference of each are seen to be different. The author of this paper tries to elucidate the framework in which physician and patient think, and in so doing allow an understanding of why the physician may appear to be rigid and authoritarian in his dealing with his patients and the patient uncooperative.  相似文献

In determining optimal treatment for a patient conventional trials of therapy are susceptible to bias. Large-scale randomized trials can provide only a partial guide and have not been or cannot be carried out for most clinical disorders. However, randomized controlled trials (RCTs) in individual patients (N of 1 RCTs) may in some circumstances provide a solution to this dilemma. In an N of 1 RCT a patient undergoes pairs of treatment periods (one period of each pair with the active drug and one with matched placebo, assigned at random); both the patient and the clinician are blind to allocation, and treatment targets are monitored. N of 1 RCTs are useful for chronic, stable conditions for which the proposed treatment, which has a rapid onset of action and ceases to act soon after it is discontinued, has shown promise in an open trial of therapy. The monitoring of treatment targets usually includes quantitative measurement of the patient's symptoms with the use of simple patient diaries or questionnaires. Pairs of treatment periods are continued until effectiveness is proved or refuted. The cooperation of a pharmacy is required for the preparation of matching placebos and conduct of the trial. Formal statistical analysis may be helpful for interpreting the results. The practical approach presented in this paper allows clinicians to conduct their own N of 1 RCTs.  相似文献

Although telephone consultations are widely used in the delivery of healthcare, they are vulnerable to breaches of patient confidentiality. Current guidelines on telephone consultations do not address adequately the issue of confidentiality. In this paper, we propose a solution to the PROBLEM: a password system to control access to patient information. Authorised persons will be offered the option of selecting a password which they will use to validate their request for information over the telephone. This simple yet stringent method of access control should improve security while allowing the continuing evolution of telephone consultations.  相似文献
