随着改革开放的不断发展,双语教学在我国教育体系中的地位日益突出。双语教学有助于培养对国际医学教育和学科发展具有战略眼光的医学精英人才。本文着重分析了影响医学双语教学质量的因素并提出了相应的解决办法。教学对象、教材.和教学手段以及教师的素质都是影响医学双语教学质量的重要因素。为改变目前医学双语教学质量不高的现状,可以在医学院校中选择英语基础较好的年级、专业尝试开展双语教学,运用合适的现代教育技术手段,搭配合适的双语教材,由受过双语教学培训的医师授课。总之,医学专业课的双语教学是一个新课题.需要广大教育工作者、医务工作者以及医学生共同关注。  相似文献

目的初步探索医学双语教学模式。方法首先阐述双语教学的概念;其次着重说明在我国实行医学双语教学的必要性;最后对医学双语教学模式作了初步探索。结果学生的“专业”和“英语”水平都得到了明显提高,英语思维能力也有了改善:结论各院校根据自己实际情况,转变学生及教师的观念,并选择适当的教材,定会摸索出一条有自己特色的医学双语教学模式。  相似文献

在军校生中开展细胞生物学双语教学的调查分析   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
目的:总结对军校本科生开展细胞生物学双语教学的经验和方法。方法:对第三军医大学医学检验和预防医学专业的军校本科生进行了有关细胞生物学双语教学的问卷调查,并采用Excel2000软件对结果进行分析。结果:74.47%的学员认为开设细胞生物学双语教学有必要,63.83%的学员认为教学过程中使用英语的比例大约在50%,而91.49%的学员将专业词汇和背景知识的缺乏作为制约双语教学效果的重要因素。结论:必须根据实际情况确定教学内容和方式,同时强化学员的专业词汇和背景知识。  相似文献

目的了解安徽省某医科大学临床医学专业学生对循证医学双语教学的认知与需求状况,探讨双语教学方法在高等医学院校应用的前景。方法采取方便抽样的方法,选取临床医学专业的本科生为研究对象,采用自制调查问卷,调查学生对循证医学双语教学的认知和需求。结果共调查323名临床医学专业学生,仅有1.9%的学生深入了解双语教学模式,一般或不了解双语教学的学生占64.1%;54.8%的学生认为循证医学课程很有必要或有必要开展双语教学;40.6%的学生希望双语教学的学时数占该课程总学时的60%~80%;16.4%的学生希望双语教学的重点在系统评价和meta分析;不同年级的学生和既往参与双语教学的经历是循证医学双语教学的认知程度和需求情况的影响因素。结论临床医学专业大学生对循证医学双语教学的认知程度相对较低,但具有较高的需求。采取灵活多变的教学方式、提高教师双语教学的水平、选编难度适宜的教材对双语教学的推广至关重要。  相似文献

OBJECTIVE: Patient satisfaction with health care services is considered an important factor of health care. Although research on patient satisfaction has become standard in Western Europe, in countries such as Lithuania the concept of patient satisfaction is still a relatively new one. This study aimed to investigate how the meeting of patients' expectations is related to increased satisfaction with medical consultation. STUDY DESIGN: The methodology used by Williams et al. in the UK was applied to the Lithuanian health care setting. Forty physicians from 22 primary health care centres attending courses on general practice at Vilnius University were recruited for the study. Every third adult patient coming to a practice during a 5-day period was invited to participate in the study. In all, 609 patients coming to meet their physician regarding health problems were included in the study sample. The patients were asked to complete three standardized questionnaires: the Patient Intentions Questionnaire prior to the consultation, and the Expectations Met Questionnaire and Medical Interview Satisfaction Scale after the consultation. Cronbach's alpha statistic was used for the validation of the questionnaires and principal components analysis was used to determine the factors of patient expectations. RESULTS: The response rate was 78%. ANALYSIS: of 460 sets of questionnaires revealed that satisfaction with medical consultation is higher among patients who have a greater number of expectations met. Physicians' success in meeting different types of patient expectations also had different influences on patient satisfaction. The most important expectations to be met were "understanding and explanation", followed by expectations of "emotional support", while "getting information" was less important. CONCLUSIONS: The most frequently reported expectations on the Patient Intentions Questionnaire were for "getting information" and "understanding and explanation" of the patients' health problem items, and the least mentioned were for emotional support items. Patients with more expectations met were found to have significantly higher scores on the satisfaction index. Satisfaction with the consultation is best predicted by meeting the patient's expectations for understanding and explanation, and for emotional support. Providing desired information to the patient as well as meeting the patient's expectations for diagnostic procedures and treatment is less associated with patient satisfaction.  相似文献

目的:探讨“双语教学”模式在《内科学》教学实践中的应用,带领医学生提高医学英语听、说、读、写的综合能力。方法:根据临床双语教学的需要,编制一批难度适宜、操作可行的《内科学》实践课双语教学教材,购买和自建《内科学》双语教学多媒体资源,在《内科学》实践教学中开展双语教学。结果:学生在提高《内科学》理论知识及技能的同时,对相关医学英语的认知、听、说、读、写的综合能力有了明显提高。带教老师在双语教学的过程中专业英语得到进一步的锤炼和提高。结论:“双语教学”模式在《内科学》教学实践中的应用对提高师生专业英语水平有重要作用,还能有效地调动学生学习的主动性和积极性,提高教学效果,值得推广。  相似文献

通过双语教学问卷调查 ,对学生英语水平、毕业后去向与双语课堂听懂比率之间的相关性予统计学分析。结果显示 :能听懂双语课的 75 %或 5 0 %的比率因通过大学英语考试的级别不同而有显著性差异 ( χ2 =10 .973 0或 9.793 3 ,P<0 .0 0 5 ) ;能听懂双语课的 75 %或以上的比率因毕业后的去向不同而有显著性差异 ( χ2 =4.44 73 ,P <0 .0 5 )。揭示了双语教学的现状及影响因素 ,并指出加强英语语言基本功是提高双语教学质量的核心内容。  相似文献

Although cultural diversity in German metropolises is rapidly increasing, immigrant patients are rarely included in clinical studies. Specific needs of these patients are hardly known. In a comparative study, 320 German and 262 Turkish immigrant women, respectively, were interviewed via bilingual questionnaires to assess their expectations from and their satisfaction with provided health care services. While no significant differences could be found between basic expectations concerning anticipated health care standards between the two study groups, women of Turkish origin were markedly less satisfied with provided health care services. High expectations of immigrant patients towards information during their stay, communication with doctors and nurses and psychosocial services were only insufficiently met. The results indicate that specific health-relevant factors, such as social and educational status, knowledge of German language and health knowledge together with structural deficiencies of a health care service that is not prepared to correspond properly to patients of different social and cultural backgrounds, have a negative impact on patient satisfaction for migrant women.  相似文献

OBJECTIVES: The personality of medical students may have an important impact on both their academic performance and emotional adjustment during medical school. There has been little systematic study of the impact of perfectionism on medical students. The present study sought to compare the perfectionism profile of medical students with that of a general arts student group and to examine the relationship among perfectionism, distress symptoms and academic expectations and satisfaction. DESIGN: Medical students (n=96) and arts students (n=289) completed a baseline assessment including two multidimensional perfectionism scales. The medical students also completed measures of distress symptoms, personality (neuroticism, conscientiousness) and questions about their perceptions of their academic performance. Of the medical students, 58 completed a second set of questionnaires 6 months later (time 2). SUBJECTS: First-, second- and third year medical students and first-year arts students. RESULTS: In comparison with arts students, the perfectionism profile of medical students showed higher personal standards, lower doubts about actions and lower maladaptive perfectionism scores. In the medical students adaptive perfectionism (achievement striving) was significantly correlated with baseline academic performance expectations and conscientiousness and was predictive of dissatisfaction with academic performance at time 2. Maladaptive perfectionism (excessive evaluative concerns) was significantly correlated with baseline distress symptoms and neuroticism and was predictive of symptoms of depression and hopelessness at time 2. CONCLUSIONS: Perfectionism in medical students differs systematically from perfectionism in general arts students. Distinguishing adaptive and maladaptive aspects of perfectionism is important in understanding the cross-sectional and longitudinal implications of perfectionism for medical students.  相似文献
