The mechanisms that govern the initial interaction between Paracoccidioides brasiliensis, a primary dimorphic fungal pathogen, and cells of the innate immunity need to be clarified. Our previous studies showed that Toll-like receptor 2 (TLR2) and TLR4 regulate the initial interaction of fungal cells with macrophages and the pattern of adaptive immunity that further develops. The aim of the present investigation was to assess the role of MyD88, an adaptor molecule used by TLRs to activate genes of the inflammatory response in pulmonary paracoccidioidomycosis. Studies were performed with normal and MyD88(-/-) C57BL/6 mice intratracheally infected with P. brasiliensis yeast cells. MyD88(-/-) macrophages displayed impaired interaction with fungal yeast cells and produced low levels of IL-12, MCP-1, and nitric oxide, thus allowing increased fungal growth. Compared with wild-type (WT) mice, MyD88(-/-) mice developed a more severe infection of the lungs and had marked dissemination of fungal cells to the liver and spleen. MyD88(-/-) mice presented low levels of Th1, Th2, and Th17 cytokines, suppressed lymphoproliferation, and impaired influx of inflammatory cells to the lungs, and this group of cells comprised lower numbers of neutrophils, activated macrophages, and T cells. Nonorganized, coalescent granulomas, which contained high numbers of fungal cells, characterized the severe lesions of MyD88(-/-) mice; the lesions replaced extensive areas of several organs. Therefore, MyD88(-/-) mice were unable to control fungal growth and showed a significantly decreased survival time. In conclusion, our findings demonstrate that MyD88 signaling is important in the activation of fungicidal mechanisms and the induction of protective innate and adaptive immune responses against P. brasiliensis.  相似文献

Role of interleukin (IL)-18 in experimental paracoccidioidomycosis.   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Interleukin (IL)-18 has been regarded as a Th1 type cytokine involved in many fungal and parasitic infections. Since there have been no studies, as of yet, evaluating the role of this cytokine in paracoccidioidomycosis (PCM), we assessed the function of IL-18 by using an experimental PCM model. Our results showed that IL-18 knockout (IL-18 -/-) BALB/c were more resistant to Paracoccidioides brasiliensis than their littermate controls (WT). In fact, mortality rate was higher in WT mice and in the first month of infection, the number of colony forming units of the etiologic agent recovered from the lungs was greater in WT mice. In histopathological analyses, well-formed granulomas were seen in both WT and IL-18(-/-) mice. However, substantial differences were observed at the second month of infection when epithelioid cells predominated in the lesions of IL-18(-/-) mice, which could infer that IL-18 postpones pulmonary healing. The levels of IL-10 were significantly higher in IL-18 sufficient mice at early stages of infection and therefore account for the delayed fungal clearance observed in WT mice. TNF-alpha augmented later in the infection of WT mice, seemingly to compensate high levels of IL-10. Our results demonstrated that IL-18 has a critical role in protecting BALB/c mice against disseminated PCM.  相似文献

We investigated experimental leishmaniasis in CD18-deficient mice. Whereas wild-type (WT) CD18-/- mice (129SV/C57BL/6) were resistant to infection, CD18-/- mice revealed increasing visceral dissemination of parasites. Unlike in other susceptible strains, infected footpads of CD18-/- mice did not ulcerate, due to an abolished recruitment of granulocytes. In vitro, CD18-/- macrophages were able to phagocytose opsonized Leishmania major despite absence of CR3, albeit phagocytosis rate was 50% lower than in WT macrophages. We found that uptake was partially mediated by scavenger receptors. As infected CD18-/- macrophages showed impaired ability to produce NO and to eliminate parasites, CD18 is one mediator of NO production. CD18 is also involved in reduction of IL-12 release by L. major-infected macrophages, as uptake of opsonized parasites (via CR3) decreased IL-12 release only in WT, but not in CD18-/- macrophages. When T cells from infected CD18-/- mice were restimulated with antigen-presenting cells (APC), they released no IL-2 or IL-4, but a little IFN-gamma, associated with lack of proliferation. This deficiency was linked to absence of CD18 on T cells, but not on APC. Substitution with IL-2 specifically restored a Th1-like response with proliferation and release of IFN-gamma. Thus, while impaired phagocytosis, NO production, and recruitment of granulocytes in CD18-/- mice may not reverse resistance, and while unrestricted IL-12 release supports development of Th1 cells, the failure of T cells to release IL-2 and to proliferate causes susceptibility.  相似文献

We examined the immunobiological responses to Histoplasma capsulatum in lungs of gamma interferon (IFN-gamma) knockout mice (GKO mice). Naive GKO mice succumbed by day 9 to intranasal challenge with 2.5 x 10(6) yeasts, whereas all wild-type (WT) mice survived for 45 days. Compared to lungs of WT mice, the lungs of acutely infected GKO mice exhibited dramatically elevated numbers of CFU in lungs and significantly higher levels of tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-alpha) and granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF) but not interleukin-12 (IL-12) or IL-4. To determine if IFN-gamma is necessary in reexposure histoplasmosis, GKO and WT mice were inoculated with 10(4) yeasts intranasally and given amphotericin B for 3 weeks. Six weeks later, mice were rechallenged with 2.5 x 10(6) yeasts. All GKO mice died by day 6, whereas all WT mice survived for 45 days. Lungs of GKO mice contained substantially elevated numbers of CFU and higher TNF-alpha and GM-CSF levels but not IL-12 or IL-4. Thus, IFN-gamma is requisite for control of pulmonary histoplasmosis in naive and reexposed mice.  相似文献

Schistosoma mansoni-infected wild-type (WT) mice develop a Th2 response and chronic disease. In contrast, infected interleukin-4 double-deficient (IL-4(-/-)) mice develop a Th1-like response and an acute, lethal syndrome. Disease severity in these animals correlates with excessive and prolonged production of nitric oxide (NO) associated with enhanced antigen-driven gamma interferon (IFN-gamma) production in the absence of IL-4. Strikingly, splenic lymphocytes from infected IL-4(-/-) mice failed to proliferate as well as those from infected WT mice following stimulation in vitro with antigen or anti-CD3 antibody. Contrary to antigen-driven IFN-gamma responses, anti-CD3 antibody stimulation of splenocytes resulted in significantly less IFN-gamma being produced by CD8 cells from infected IL-4(-/-) mice than by those from infected WT mice or normal mice. NO is largely responsible for the impaired T-cell functions in infected IL-4(-/-) mice, as inhibition of iNOS significantly enhanced proliferation and IFN-gamma production.  相似文献

Although protective immunity in C57BL/6 mice induced by a single dose of the radiation-attenuated schistosome vaccine is believed to be mediated by Th1-type immune responses, we here report that in BALB/c mice protection can also depend upon signaling via the interleukin-4 (IL-4) receptor which conventionally governs the development of Th2-type immune responses. We show that in BALB/c mice deficient for the IL-4 receptor alpha chain (IL-4Ralpha(-/-)), which are unresponsive to IL-4 and IL-13, vaccine-induced protection is abrogated compared with that in wild-type (WT) mice. In vaccinated IL-4Ralpha(-/-) mice, IL-12p40 production by cells from the skin exposure site was elevated, although gamma interferon (IFN-gamma) production in draining lymphoid tissues was similar in WT and IL-4Ralpha(-/-) mice. Nevertheless, the effector response in IL-4Ralpha(-/-) mice was Th1 biased with elevated IFN-gamma in the lungs and higher immunoglobulin G2a (IgG2a) and IgG2b titers but negligible quantities of Th2-associated IgG1 and IgE. Interestingly, levels of IL-4 were equivalent in WT and IL-4Ralpha(-/-) mice, indicating that Th2 responses were not dependent upon signaling by IL-4 or IL-13. No differences in the phenotype and composition of the pulmonary effector mechanism that might explain the failure to induce protection in IL-4Ralpha(-/-) mice were detected. However, passive transfer of partial protection to naive IL-4Ralpha(-/-) mice, using serum from vaccinated WT mice, indicates that Th2-associated antibodies such as IgG1 have a role in parasite elimination in BALB/c strain mice and that signaling via IL-4R can be an important factor in the generation of protection.  相似文献

Tropical pulmonary eosinophilia (TPE) is a severe asthmatic syndrome of lymphatic filariasis, in which an allergic response is induced to microfilariae (Mf) in the lungs. Previously, in a murine model for TPE, we have demonstrated that recombinant interleukin-12 (IL-12) suppresses pulmonary eosinophilia and airway hyperresponsiveness (AHR) by modulating the T helper (Th) response in the lungs from Th2- to Th1-like, with elevated gamma-interferon (IFN-gamma) production and decreased IL-4 and IL-5 production. The present study examined the immunomodulatory roles of IL-4 and IFN-gamma in filaria-induced AHR and pulmonary inflammation using mice genetically deficient in these cytokines. C57BL/6, IL-4 gene knockout (IL-4(-/-)), and IFN-gamma(-/-) mice were first immunized with soluble Brugia malayi antigens and then inoculated intravenously with 200,000 live Mf. Compared with C57BL/6 mice, IL-4(-/-) mice exhibited significantly reduced AHR, whereas IFN-gamma(-/-) mice had increased AHR. Histopathologically, each mouse strain showed increased cellular infiltration into the lung parenchyma and bronchoalveolar space compared with na?ve animals. However, consistent with changes in AHR, IL-4(-/-) mice had less inflammation than C57BL/6 mice, whereas IFN-gamma(-/-) mice had exacerbated pulmonary inflammation with the loss of pulmonary architecture. Systemically, IL-4(-/-) mice produced significantly higher IFN-gamma levels compared with C57BL/6 mice, whereas IFN-gamma(-/-) mice produced significantly higher IL-4 levels. These data indicate that IL-4 is required for the induction of filaria-induced AHR, whereas IFN-gamma suppresses AHR.  相似文献

T cell responses of interleukin (IL)-4(-/-) and wild-type (WT) mice infected with the helper T cell 2 (Th2) response-inducing pathogen Schistosoma mansoni were compared. As expected, given the important role of IL-4 in Th2 response induction, the absence of IL-4 resulted in diminished Th2 responses, apparent as reduced production of IL-4, -5, and -10 by CD4(+) cells isolated from the spleens of infected IL-4(-/-) mice. Surprisingly, these cells produced significantly less interferon (IFN)-gamma and proliferated less than did those from infected WT mice after T cell receptor ligation. CD8(+) cells isolated from infected IL-4(-/-) mice also produced less IFN-gamma than WT CD8 cells, although there was no difference in the proliferative responses of these cell populations. After infection, spleens of infected IL-4(-/-) mice did not enlarge to the same extent as those of WT mice, and attrition of the CD8(+) cell population within this lymphoid organ was noted. Taken together, the data indicate that in addition to inhibiting Th2 response development, the lack of IL-4 during schistosomiasis significantly affects additional aspects of T cell responses.  相似文献

The immunoprotective and immunomodulatory role of neutrophils during pulmonary infection of resistant (A/J) and susceptible (B10.A) mice to Paracoccidioides brasiliensis was investigated. First, comparative studies about early cellular influx to the lungs demonstrated higher numbers of neutrophils in susceptible rather than in resistant mice. Neutrophil depletion resulted in decreased survival times of susceptible but not resistant mice. In both mouse strains, depletion led to increased fungal burdens at Week 1 of infection; however, only susceptible mice remained with increased pulmonary fungal loads and presented a dramatic fungal dissemination to liver and spleen. At Week 1 of infection, treated and untreated B10.A and A/J mice were negative for delayed-type hypersensitivity (DTH) reactions, which remained negative for the susceptible strain. In contrast, from the second week onward, control and neutrophil-depleted, resistant mice became positive for DTH reactions. In B10.A mice, neutrophil depletion resulted in increased levels of interleukin (IL)-12 and IL-4 in the lungs, high levels of hepatic cytokines, and increased synthesis of T helper cell type 1 (Th1)- and Th2-regulated antibodies [immunoglobulin G1 (IgG1), IgA, and IgG3]. In neutrophil-depleted A/J mice, high levels of pulmonary IL-12 and granulocyte macrophage-colony stimulating factor were concomitant to diminished levels of hepatic cytokines and increased amounts of Th1-regulated isotypes (IgG2a, IgG2b, and IgG3). Differently from primary infection, neutrophil depletion did not alter immunoprotection in secondary paracoccidioidomycosis. As a whole, our data showed that the genetic patterns of hosts exert an important influence on the immunoprotective and immunoregulatory functions of neutrophils, which appear to be essential in situations devoid of cell-mediated immunity.  相似文献

With a view to determining whether failure of mice to resolve Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) infection is a consequence of downregulation of T helper 1 (Th1) immunity by interleukin (IL)-10, mice deleted of the gene for IL-10 were compared with wild-type (WT) mice in terms of their ability to make IL-10 mRNA, generate Th1-mediated immunity [as measured by synthesis of mRNA for interferon-gamma (IFN-gamma)], IL-12p40 and inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS), and to control lung infection. It was found that the response of WT mice to infection included a substantial and sustained increase in IL-10 mRNA synthesis in the lungs. A Th1 response in the lungs of WT and IL-10-/- mice was evidenced by a large and sustained increase in the synthesis of mRNA for IFN-gamma, IL-12p40 and iNOS, with somewhat higher levels of these mRNA species being made in the lungs of IL-10-/- mice, particularly at an early stage of infection. However, IL-10-/- mice were no more capable than WT mice at combating infection.  相似文献

Blood-stage Plasmodium chabaudi AS infection was controlled by 4 weeks in mice with deletion of tumor necrosis factor p55 and p75 receptors (TNFR-knockout [KO]) and control wild-type (WT) mice, although female TNFR-KO mice showed slightly but significantly higher parasitemia immediately following the peak. Serum interleukin 12 (IL-12) p70 and gamma interferon (IFN-gamma) levels were similar but tumor necrosis factor alpha levels were significantly higher in TNFR-KO mice than in WT controls. Splenic IL-12 receptor beta1 and beta2 and IFN-gamma mRNA expression, as well as spleen cell production of IFN-gamma and IL-4, were comparable in both mouse types, but IL-10 production was significantly higher in cells from TNFR-KO mice than in cells from WT mice. Lipopolysaccharide-induced NO secretion by splenic macrophages in vitro was significantly reduced but systemic NO3- levels were similar in infected TNFR-KO and WT mice.  相似文献

Resistance to paracoccidioidomycosis, the most important endemic mycosis in Latin America, is thought to be primarily mediated by cellular immunity and the production of gamma interferon. To assess the role of interleukin-4 (IL-4), a Th2 cytokine, pulmonary paracoccidioidomycosis in IL-4-depleted susceptible (B10.A) and intermediate (C57BL/6) mice was studied. Two different protocols were used to neutralize endogenous IL-4 in B10.A mice: 1 mg of anti-IL-4 monoclonal antibody (MAb)/week and 8 mg 1 day before intratracheal infection with 10(6) Paracoccidioides brasiliensis yeast cells. Unexpectedly, both protocols enhanced pulmonary infection but did not alter the levels of pulmonary cytokines and specific antibodies. Since in a previous work it was verified that C57BL/6 mice genetically deficient in IL-4 were more resistant to P. brasiliensis infection, we also investigated the effect of IL-4 depletion in this mouse strain. Treatment with the MAb at 1 mg/week led to less severe pulmonary disease associated with impaired synthesis of Th2 cytokines in the lungs and liver of control C57BL/6 mice. Conversely, in IL-4-depleted C57BL/6 mice, increased levels of tumor necrosis factor alpha and IL-12 were found in the lungs and liver, respectively. In addition, higher levels of immunoglobulin G2a (IgG2a) and lower levels of IgG1 antibodies were produced by IL-4-depleted mice than by control mice. Lung pathologic findings were equivalent in IL-4-depleted and untreated B10.A mice. In IL-4-depleted C57BL/6 mice, however, smaller and well-organized granulomas replaced the more extensive lesions that developed in untreated mice. These results clearly showed that IL-4 can have a protective or a disease-promoting effect in pulmonary paracoccidioidomycosis depending on the genetic background of the host.  相似文献

In the absence of interleukin-4 (IL-4), infection with Schistosoma mansoni leads to a severe fatal disease rather than the chronic survivable condition that occurs in wild-type (WT) mice. Because the sustained production of NO most closely correlates to weight loss and fatality in infected IL-4(-/-) mice and because gamma interferon (IFN-gamma) is an important inducer of inducible NO synthase, infected IL-4(-/-) mice were treated with anti-IFN-gamma antibodies to determine the role of IFN-gamma during schistosomiasis in WT and IL-4(-/-) animals. When IFN-gamma was neutralized, Th2 responses were enhanced and NO production was reduced in both WT and IL-4(-/-) mice. The decreased NO production correlated with a rescue of proliferation in splenocytes from infected IL-4(-/-) mice. Furthermore, the neutralization of IFN-gamma in vivo improved the gross appearance of the liver and led to a reduction in granuloma size in infected IL-4(-/-) but not WT mice. However, the neutralization of IFN-gamma in vivo did not affect the development of severe disease in infected IL-4(-/-) mice. These results suggest that while the increased production of IFN-gamma does lead to some of the pathology observed in infected IL-4(-/-) mice, it is not ultimately responsible for cachexia and death.  相似文献

A Th1 immune response involving gamma interferon (IFN-gamma) production is required to eliminate Chlamydophila abortus infections. In this study, the role of interleukin-12 (IL-12) in protecting against C. abortus infection was investigated using IL-12(-/-) and wild-type (WT) C57BL/6 mice to determine the role of this Th1-promoting cytokine. IL-12(-/-) mice were able to eliminate the C. abortus infection in a primary infection. However, there was a delay in the clearance of bacteria when IL-12(-/-) mice were infected with a sublethal dose of C. abortus, the delay being associated with a lower production of IFN-gamma. The low level of IFN-gamma was essential for survival of IL-12(-/-) infected mice. Both WT and IL-12(-/-) mice developed a Th1 immune response against C. abortus infection, since they both produced IFN-gamma and immunoglobulin G2a antibody isotype. In addition, when mice were given a secondary infectious challenge with C. abortus, a protective host response which resolved the secondary infection was developed by both WT and IL-12(-/-) mice. The lack of IL-12 resulted in few infiltrating CD4(+) T cells in the liver relative to the number in WT mice, although the number of CD8(+) T cells was slightly higher. The more intense Th1 response presented by WT mice may have a pathogenic effect, as the animals showed higher morbidity after the infection. In conclusion, these results suggest that although IL-12 expedites the clearance of C. abortus infection, this cytokine is not essential for the establishment of a protective host response against the infection.  相似文献

The role of endogenous gamma interferon (IFN-gamma) in protective immunity against blood-stage Plasmodium chabaudi AS malaria was studied using IFN-gamma gene knockout (GKO) and wild-type (WT) C57BL/6 mice. Following infection with 10(6) parasitized erythrocytes, GKO mice developed significantly higher parasitemia during acute infection than WT mice and had severe mortality. In infected GKO mice, production of interleukin 12 (IL-12) p70 and tumor necrosis factor alpha in vivo and IL-12 p70 in vitro by splenic macrophages was significantly reduced compared to that in WT mice and the enhanced nitric oxide (NO) production observed in infected WT mice was completely absent. WT and GKO mice had comparable numbers of total nucleated spleen cells and B220(+) and Mac-1(+) spleen cells both before and after infection. Infected WT mice, however, had significantly more F4/80(+), NK1.1(+), and F4/80(+)Ia(+) spleen cells than infected GKO mice; male WT had more CD3(+) cells than male GKO mice. In comparison with those from WT mice, splenocytes from infected GKO mice had significantly higher proliferation in vitro in response to parasite antigen or concanavalin A stimulation and produced significantly higher levels of IL-10 in response to parasite antigen. Infected WT mice produced more parasite-specific immunoglobulin M (IgM), IgG2a, and IgG3 and less IgG1 than GKO mice. Significant gender differences in both GKO and WT mice in peak parasitemia levels, mortality, phenotypes of spleen cells, and proliferation of and cytokine production by splenocytes in vitro were apparent during infection. These results thus provide unequivocal evidence for the central role of endogenous IFN-gamma in the development of protective immunity against blood-stage P. chabaudi AS.  相似文献

The immune response to Cryptococcus neoformans following pulmonary infection of C57BL/6 wild-type (WT) mice results in the development of persistent infection with characteristics of allergic bronchopulmonary mycosis (ABPM). To further clarify the role of Th1/Th2 polarizing cytokines in this model, we performed kinetic analysis of cytokine responses and compared cytokine profiles, pathologies, and macrophage (Mac) polarization status in C. neoformans-infected WT, interleukin-4-deficient (IL-4(-/-)), and gamma interferon-deficient (IFN-γ(-/-)) C57BL/6 mice. Results show that cytokine expression in the infected WT mice is not permanently Th2 biased but changes dynamically over time. Using multiple Mac activation markers, we further demonstrate that IL-4 and IFN-γ regulate the polarization state of Macs in this model. A higher IL-4/IFN-γ ratio leads to the development of alternatively activated Macs (aaMacs), whereas a higher IFN-γ/IL-4 ratio leads to the generation of classically activated Macs (caMacs). WT mice that coexpress IL-4 and IFN-γ during fungal infection concurrently display both types of Mac polarization markers. Concurrent stimulation of Macs with IFN-γ and IL-4 results in an upregulation of both sets of markers within the same cells, i.e., formation of an intermediate aaMac/caMac phenotype. These cells express both inducible nitric oxide synthase (important for clearance) and arginase (associated with chronic/progressive infection). Together, our data demonstrate that the interplay between Th1 and Th2 cytokines supports chronic infection, chronic inflammation, and the development of ABPM pathology in C. neoformans-infected lungs. This cytokine interplay modulates Mac differentiation, including generation of an intermediate caMac/aaMac phenotype, which in turn may support chronic "steady-state" fungal infection and the resultant ABPM pathology.  相似文献

We have previously reported on the alternate regulation of gamma interferon (IFN-gamma) and interleukin-4 (IL-4) in inbred mouse strains which differ in their susceptibility to Coccidioides immitis. The genetically resistant DBA/2 mice manifest a predominant T-helper 1 (Th1) response, with early production of IFN-gamma, whereas susceptible BALB/c mice show an early production of the Th2 cytokine IL-4. Since IL-12 is one cytokine that can act early during host defenses to promote the differentiation of cytokine production towards IFN-gamma and thus may promote expression of a protective immune response, we investigated the role of IL-12 in resistance to C. immitis. Administration of recombinant IL-12 to the susceptible mouse strain before and after systemic (intraperitoneal) challenge with C. immitis significantly ameliorated the course of the disease, as measured by a reduction in the fungal load in the lungs, liver, and spleen. Analysis of the cytokine mRNA in lungs from infected BALB/c mice revealed that the protective effect of recombinant IL-12 was accompanied by a shift from a Th2 to a Th1 response. The importance of IL-12 in resistance to this fungus was further established by showing that neutralization of endogenous IL-12 in the resistant DBA/2 mouse strain led to a significant increase in the fungal burden in pulmonary and extrapulmonary tissues. These results establish that IL-12 plays a pivotal role in the host defense against systemic challenge with C. immitis.  相似文献

Dectin-2 is a C-type lectin receptor that recognizes high mannose polysaccharides. Cryptococcus neoformans, a yeast-form fungal pathogen, is rich in polysaccharides in its cell wall and capsule. In the present study, we analyzed the role of Dectin-2 in the host defense against C. neoformans infection. In Dectin-2 gene-disrupted (knockout) (Dectin-2KO) mice, the clearance of this fungus and the inflammatory response, as shown by histological analysis and accumulation of leukocytes in infected lungs, were comparable to those in wild-type (WT) mice. The production of type 2 helper T (Th2) cytokines in lungs was higher in Dectin-2KO mice than in WT mice after infection, whereas there was no difference in the levels of production of Th1, Th17, and proinflammatory cytokines between these mice. Mucin production was significantly increased in Dectin-2KO mice, and this increase was reversed by administration of anti-interleukin 4 (IL-4) monoclonal antibody (MAb). The levels of expression of β1-defensin, cathelicidin, surfactant protein A (Sp-A), and Sp-D in infected lungs were comparable between these mice. In in vitro experiments, IL-12p40 and tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) production and expression of CD86 and major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class II by bone marrow-derived dendritic cells and alveolar macrophages were completely abrogated in Dectin-2KO mice. Finally, the disrupted lysates of C. neoformans, but not of whole yeast cells, activated Dectin-2-triggered signaling in an assay with nuclear factor of activated T cells (NFAT)-green fluorescent protein (GFP) reporter cells expressing this receptor. These results suggest that Dectin-2 may oppose the Th2 response and IL-4-dependent mucin production in the lungs after infection with C. neoformans, and it may not be required for the production of Th1, Th17, and proinflammatory cytokines or for clearance of this fungal pathogen.  相似文献
