Objective
To describe the evolution of the recommendations for physical activity to better understand their scientific bases and to summarize the current public health recommendations for physical activity.News
The health-related benefits from physical activity are well-known even if all the mechanisms are not well understood. Some recommendations have been published and guidelines have been provided.Perspectives and projects
Public health recommendations for physical activity are largely shared. However, specific recommendations for management of chronic disease should be precised. Conclusion
Recommendations for physical activity should be disseminate among professionals, and particularly among health professionals because of their capacity to deliver advices to their patients. The challenge consists in defining the optimal quantity and the type of physical activity according to the characteristics of the population and their health. 相似文献5.
Aims
Authors report their personal experience on the surgical treatment of repeated anterior shoulder dislocations, using an anterior bone block in accordance with the procedure suggested by Didier Patte. Results
From the year 1988 and during 10 years, 35 patients suffering from repeated anterior shoulder dislocations were surgically treated by this procedure. It was appropriate to retrospectively review the clinical and functional outcomes after Patte repair for recurrent anterior glenohumeral instability. The mean follow-up was approximately 10 years, with a mean percentage of 75% for the observance. There was no recurrence after surgery. Moreover, 88% of patients had good outcomes, according to the scale suggested by Butel et al., with total resumption of work and physical activities. The occurrence of chronic complication such as osteoathrosis was scarce (only one case for the series), while 20% of subjects showed apprehension during some specific shoulder movements. Conclusion
In order to expect best functional outcomes, the choice of the surgical procedure should take into account the extent of initial injury. Considering these ground requirements, the Patte procedure seems to provide very satisfactory long-term functional outcomes. 相似文献6.
Objective
To assess the effects of aerobic training on physical capacities and quality of life in men with metabolic syndrome (Mets), using field evaluation tools.Synthesis
The physical capacities and the quality of life of eight men with Mets (59.5 ± 4.8 years old) was assessed before and after 8 weeks of aerobic exercise training by the 6 minutes walking test and the quality of life, obesity and dietetics scale. Conclusion
Aerobic exercise training of 8 weeks improves physical capacities and the psychosocial impact dimension of quality of life in men with Mets, without generating anthropometric modification. 相似文献7.

Purpose
The aim of this study was to assess the timing of muscle activation during the acceleration phase of topspin forehand drives in young tennis players.Synthesis
The activity of six muscles was recorded using surface electromyography during topspin forehand drives in 22 players (9–17 years). The timing of muscle activation was characterized by the onset of EMG bursts during the acceleration stage. Conclusion
The proximal-to-distal sequential muscle activity was observed for the agonist muscles while the antagonist muscles were recruited at the end of the acceleration stage. This sequential muscle activity was common to all participants whatever their abilities. 相似文献12.

Duel sports, such as fencing, boxing and table-tennis, like some “face-to-face” individuals in team sports, give rise to extremely fast visuo-motor interactions. These situations, characterized by a high level of uncertainty in space and time, require a very high level of visual attention from protagonists. Investigations carried out in these sports reveal, at the highest level of world ranking, an over-representation of manual left-handers, the majority of them having a right ocular dominance. Right-handers having a left dominant eye are also represented at a relatively high-rate. Experimental tasks with spatio-temporal uncertainty implemented in the laboratory have made it possible to confirm a visuo-motor advantage, in response time, in subjects having an eye–hand crossed laterality. 相似文献

Subject
The use of Fourier transform infrared spectrometry technique (FT-IR) as a pitch technique of the biological control of short and intense exercises close to those of Rugby matches.Material and method
In reference to 28 rugbymen of international level, the biological results of three short and intense exercises and two periods of recovery were analyzed by TF-IR. The exercises are: (1) sprints; (2) 12 × 20 m of swerve running; (3) 6 × 30 s of shuttle run. Results
Lactate, glucose, urea, and to a lesser degree, triglycerides showed a significant evolution. If the evolution of the two first was in conformity with the literature, the increase of urea probably results from the activation of the purins–nucleotides cycle, whereas the evolution of triglycerides is explained by their probable muscular use during periods of active recovery. Among proteins related to the healthy sportsman, only haptoglobin presents a significant variation difficult to explain whereas CRP, orosomucoid and immunoglobulins A, G and M remain close to their rest values. Conclusion
With the use of FT-IR technique, it is possible to intervene directly on the pitches of the sporting practice to control the biological incidences and to adjust the loads individually. It is also possible to detect inflammatory and immunological problems related to the biomechanical and physiological stresses. 相似文献17.
