新版Bethesda指南、微卫星不稳定性检测和免疫组化检查诊断遗传性非息肉性结直肠癌的准确性

背景：挑选适当个体进行遗传性非息肉性结直肠癌（hereditary nonpolyposis colorectal cancer，HNPCC）基因检测有一定难度。最近，美国国立癌症研究所（National Cancer Institute）在新版Bethesda指南中给出了一套新的推荐方案，以明确哪些HNPCC个体应行微卫星不稳定性检测。

促癌蛋白导致癌症发生

据美国BIOCOMPARE科技新闻网（2008／3／6）报道,美国德州大学安德森癌症中心（University of Texas M．D．Anderson Cancer Center）的研究人员发现,两个癌症促进蛋白会伏击一个很重要的抑癌蛋白（tumor suppression protein）-FOXO3a,将其驱逐出细胞核并使其死亡,进而导致癌症的发生。

利用RNAi发现癌症致命弱点

来自埃默里大学（Emory University）医学院，Emory—willship癌症中心（Emory-Winship Cancer Center）的研究人员发现当沉默一个关键基因：14—3—3zeta的时候，肺癌细胞就不能再存活，这说明这种致命的癌症存在一个特异性的弱点，因此研究人员认为这一基因可以作为一种选择性抗癌药物的潜在靶标.这一研究成果公布在美国《国家科学院院刊》（PNAS）杂志上．     

2013年更新的NICE《儿童、青年和成人慢性乙型肝炎诊断和管理指南》解读

2013年6月,英国国立优质卫生和保健研究所（National Institute for Health and Care Excellence,NICE）发布更新的《儿童、青年和成人慢性乙型肝炎诊断和管理指南》[1]。NICE是非政府的公共卫生机构,为英格兰和威尔士医疗系统服务,其前身为1999年成立的国立临床优质研究所（National Institute for Clinical Excellence,NICE）。2005年4月与该所卫生发展所合并为新的国立优质卫生和临床研究所（National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence）,仍简称为NICE。     

国外肿瘤替代/互补医学研究进展

2006年4月中旬,由美国国立卫生研究院(National Institutes of Health, NIH)癌症研究所癌症补充与替代医学办公室(Office of Cancer Complementary and Alternative Medicine,OCCAM)主办,中美双方联合召开的首届"传统中药与癌症研究"研讨会在国立癌症研究所(National Cancer Institute, NCI)召开.这次会议标志着在肿瘤学领域,中医、中西医结合治疗已走向国际化,同时也使我们看到了国外相关研究的概况与进展.     

老年非小细胞肺癌患者完全切除术后长春瑞滨加顺铂辅助化疗

2004—2005年。三个临床试验证实，新型化疗方案可以使Ⅰ～ⅢA期手术完全切除肿瘤的非小细胞肺癌（non-small cell lung cancer，NSCLC）患者提高生存率。加拿大国家癌症中心JBR．10研究项目（National Cancer Institute of Canada Clinical Trials Group，NCICCTG study JBR．10）进行了一项针对IB期或Ⅱ期根治性术后的老年NSCLC患者应用长春瑞滨及顺铂进行辅助化疗的Ⅲ期临床随机对照研究。本研究提示，对于占NSCLC患者多数的老年病人施行基于铂类或长春瑞滨的辅助化疗，在提高总体生存率的同时，毒副反应在可以接受的范围内。[第一段]     

北京大学临床肿瘤学院将成为国内首个使用美国生物医学信息管理系统单位

2007年9月6日，由美国国立卫生研究院癌症研究所（NIH／NCI）副所长Kenneth Buetow教授及杜克大学肿瘤中心Kim Lyerly教授等组成的NCI／Duke代表团访问了北京大学临床肿瘤学院，双方共同召开了“国际医学信息学在临床肿瘤药物试验中的应用”研讨会。美国NCI／Duke代表团向北京大学临床肿瘤学院赠送了生物医学信息管理caBIG（the Cancer Biomedical InformaticsGri）系统，并对临床肿瘤学院部分临床、基础科室人员进行了操作培训。
