Background

Reduced forced expiratory volume in 1 second percentage (FEV1%) predicted is closely related to cardiovascular mortality. However, evidence regarding the correlation between FEV1% predicted and the severity of coronary atherosclerosis observed on coronary angiography is still limited. We aimed to explore whether a decline in FEV1% predicted was associated with diffuse coronary atherosclerosis in hospitalized patients.

Methods

A cross-sectional study enrolling hospitalized patients with cardiovascular symptoms undergoing both coronary angiography and lung function testing was conducted. The correlation between FEV1% predicted and angiographic characteristics, including the number of diseased vessels, total number of coronary lesions and Gensini score was analyzed.

Results

Eighty-five patients were included. Patients with ≥2-vessel disease had significantly lower FEV1% predicted than patients with <2-vessel disease (60.9% ± 19.7% versus 77.2% ± 19.7%, P < 0.001). FEV1% predicted was inversely related to the total number of coronary lesions (β = ?0.029, P = 0.002) and Gensini score (β = ?0.525, P = 0.006). FEV1% predicted was independently associated with ≥2-vessel disease (odds ratio = 0.961, P = 0.007), total number of coronary lesions (adjusted β = ?0.039, P < 0.001) and Gensini score (adjusted β = ?0.602, P = 0.005) after adjustment for other traditional cardiovascular risk factors. In the coronary artery disease subgroup, FEV1% predicted maintained an independent and negative relationship with ≥2-vessel disease, total number of coronary lesions and Gensini score.

Conclusions

Reduced FEV1% predicted was closely associated with multivessel coronary disease and diffuse coronary atherosclerosis in hospitalized patients undergoing coronary angiography.  相似文献

Background

Residents in the district struck by the Great East Japan Earthquake Tsunami (GEJET) suffered from adverse living conditions and various pulmonary diseases.

Objectives

To evaluate the influence of GEJET, we performed serial assessment of pulmonary function of approximately 10,000 residents in the district struck by GEJET.

Methods

Using a spirometer, we assessed the pulmonary function of approximately 10,000 residents older than 18 years in the Sanriku seacoast, which was struck by the tsunami. Measurements were performed in 2011 and 2012.

Results

We compared FVC (forced vital capacity) % pred. and FEV1 (forced expiratory volume in 1 second) % pred. of subjects between 2011 and 2012, by serial spirometry. Of the 7053 subjects studied, including 2611 men and 4442 women, FVC% pred. and FEV1% pred. were significantly higher in 2012 than in 2011. Physical indices including height, body weight and the body mass index (BMI) did not change significantly during this period. Smoking prevalence changed significantly between 2010, 2011, and 2012. Both FVC% pred. and FEV1% pred. of subjects who had quit smoking increased significantly on spirometry carried out in 2012, compared with those in 2011.

Conclusions

The pulmonary function expressed as FVC% pred. and FEV1% pred. were significantly higher in 2012 than in 2011 among the subjects studied. The changes in the smoking status may be one of the reasons for the increase in values observed. However, other undetermined factors during recovery from a disaster might have resulted in improved pulmonary function.  相似文献

Background

Severe asthma is increasingly being recognized as an important public health issue. Obesity has been identified as a risk factor for poor asthma control and for worsening of asthma severity. However, most studies investigating obese patients with asthma have been performed in Western countries. Reports on the characteristics of obese Japanese individuals with severe asthma are lacking. Herein, we investigated the clinical characteristics of patients with obesity-associated severe asthma in a Japanese population and the association between obesity and poor asthma control.

Methods

We conducted a retrospective observational study of adult patients with severe asthma. Patients were classified into two groups based on the definition of obesity recommended by the Japan Society for the Study of Obesity: obese (OB) group (body mass index [BMI] ≥25?kg/m2) and non-obese (NOB) group (BMI <25?kg/m2). The two groups were compared. The characteristics of obesity and the metabolic functions are known to differ between males and females; therefore, we analyzed male-only and female-only cohorts separately.

Results

A total of 492 patients were enrolled. Age, smoking history in terms of number of pack-years, daily controller medications use, and spirometric data were not significantly different between the OB and NOB groups in either cohort. In the female cohort, the annual exacerbation ratio and the percentage of frequent exacerbators were significantly higher in the OB group compared to the NOB group. A multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that obesity was independently associated with frequent asthma exacerbations in the female cohort.

Conclusions

Our study revealed that obesity, defined as a BMI ≥25?kg/m2, was independently associated with poor asthma control (including acute exacerbations) in adult Japanese females with severe asthma.  相似文献

Introduction

In the new GOLD classification the reduction of FEV1, expressed as percentage of predicted value (FEV1PP), is considered an important prognostic factor. However, the use of FEV1PP may introduce bias, especially if based on equations derived from populations different from the one under study. We evaluated how well the GOLD classification stratifies the mortality risk when FEV1PP is based on an equation developed in the same population that gave rise to cases, externally developed equations, or as FEV1 divided by cubed height (FEV1/Ht3).

Methods

We studied 882 participants aged ≥65 years. Bronchial obstruction was defined using a fixed cut-off of 0.7 for FEV1/FVC. Predicted values of FEV1 were derived from equations based on the same sample of the cases included in this study and from the European Respiratory Society equations. Severity of bronchial obstruction was also classified according to quartiles of FEV1/Ht3.

Results

All the classification systems showed a non-statistically significant linear tendency with 5-years mortality risk. For the 15-years mortality, the linear trend across severity stages is more evident for GOLD classifications, with significant increments in the hazard ratio. Stratification by FEV1/Ht3 could better discriminate the functional status of participants.

Conclusion

The severity of bronchial obstruction according to GOLD classes may stratify mortality risk better than quartiles of FEV1/Ht3, whereas the second seems to be more suited to stratify the risk of clinical outcomes. Concerns about the use of externally developed reference values to calculate FEV1PP do not seem confirmed, at least for GOLD classification.  相似文献

Background

Few studies are available regarding the annual decline of forced expiratory volume in 1 s (FEV1) in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease patients with mild airflow obstruction. This study sought to clarify to what extent cigarette-smoking individuals with mild airflow obstruction lose pulmonary function annually.

Methods

From 2004 to 2006, pulmonary function tests were performed on people >40 years of age, during the annual health checkup held in Takahata, Yamagata, Japan (initial study population, n=3253). In 2011, pulmonary function tests were performed again on participants who agreed to undergo reexamination (follow-up study population, n=838).

Results

Smokers have decreased pulmonary function in terms of percent forced vital capacity (FVC), %FEV1, and FEV1/FVC; the stages of airflow obstruction were also more severe in smokers than never-smokers. The annual decline in FEV1 was significantly greater in smokers than in never-smokers. The median annual decline in FEV1 was most significant in individuals with mild airflow obstruction. The annual decline in FEV1 was greater in smokers with mild airflow obstruction than in smokers with moderate airflow obstruction. In analyzing the decline in %FEV1, the annual change in smokers with mild airflow obstruction was greater than that in smokers with normal spirometric values.

Conclusion

The annual decline in FEV1 was most significant in smokers with mild airflow obstruction in a Japanese general population. This highlights the importance of early detection of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease patients among the general population in order to prevent disease progression in undiagnosed patients.  相似文献

Background

Lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM) is a progressive, cystic lung disease that causes an obstructive ventilatory impairment similar to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and impairs the health-related quality of life (HRQoL). Here, we extended the use of the COPD assessment test (CAT) to patients with chronic respiratory diseases other than COPD. Specifically, the CAT was administered to patients with LAM for the first time.

Methods

Using data from 25 patients with LAM at Juntendo University who participated in the Multicenter Lymphangioleiomyomatosis Sirolimus Trial for Safety (MLSTS), we evaluated changes in pulmonary function, responses to HRQoL questionnaires (the CAT, St. George?s Respiratory Questionnaire [SGRQ], EuroQOL Visual Analogue Scale [EuroQOL-VAS], and Functional Performance Inventory [FPI]), and the association between pulmonary function and HRQoL during a 24-month period of sirolimus treatment.

Results

Forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV1), forced vital capacity (FVC), and CAT total scores improved over the 24 months of sirolimus treatment (5.33 ± 1.20?ml/month, 2.61 ± 1.16?ml/month, and ?0.127 ± 0.022 score/month, respectively), whereas SGRQ total score, EuroQOL-VAS score, and FPI score did not. Most pulmonary functions at baseline were associated with the CAT breathlessness score during the first year. Longitudinal changes in FEV1, FEV1%predicted, or FEV1/FVC correlated significantly with the scores of CAT total, CAT breathlessness, and SGRQ activity. When analyzed by stepwise multivariate regression within a linear mixed-effects model, CAT breathlessness and confidence scores were significantly associated with a change in FEV1 from the baseline value (P = 0.0011, and P = 0.0441).

Conclusion

Our results suggest that the CAT is a useful instrument for assessing HRQoL in sirolimus-treated patients with LAM.  相似文献

Background

Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) is a disease with a worse prognosis than some types of cancer. In patients with IPF, lung cancer is critical because of the associated high mortality rate from its progression and fatal complications from anticancer treatments. Therefore, preventing lung cancer in patients with IPF is primordial. Pirfenidone is an anti-fibrotic agent that reduces the decline in forced vital capacity. This study aimed to assess the effect of pirfenidone in the development of lung cancer in patients with IPF.

Methods

Data from 261 patients with IPF with and without pirfenidone were retrospectively reviewed, and the incidence of lung cancer was analyzed.

Results

In the pirfenidone group, the incidence of lung cancer was significantly lower than in the non-pirfenidone group (2.4% vs. 22.0%, P < 0.0001). Multivariate Cox proportional hazards regression analysis demonstrated that pirfenidone decreased the risk of lung cancer (hazard ratio, 0.11; 95% confidence interval, 0.03 to 0.46; P = 0.003), whereas coexisting emphysema increased the incidence of lung cancer (hazard ratio, 3.22; 95% confidence interval, 1.35 to 7.70; P = 0.009).

Conclusions

Pirfenidone might correlate with a decreased risk of lung cancer in patients with IPF. However, no definite conclusion can be drawn from this retrospective study, and a multicenter, prospective cohort study is still warranted to confirm the effect of pirfenidone on lung cancer in patients with IPF.  相似文献

Background

Cough and sputum production (symptoms of bronchitis) are common in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Extrapulmonary comorbidities, such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and post-nasal drip, also cause bronchitis symptoms. The impact of extrapulmonary comorbidities on the severity of bronchitis symptoms in COPD is unknown. The aim of this study was to quantify bronchitis symptoms and assess the impact of GERD and nasal symptoms on the severity of bronchitis symptoms in COPD.

Methods

In this cross-sectional study, stable COPD patients were recruited and completed the COPD assessment test (CAT) and Cough and Sputum Assessment Questionnaire (CASA-Q) to quantify bronchitis symptoms. To evaluate extrapulmonary comorbidities, the Frequency Scale for Symptoms of GERD (FSSG) questionnaire and nasal symptom questionnaire were completed. The impact of these comorbidities on the severity of bronchitis symptoms was analyzed.

Results

Ninety-nine COPD patients were recruited. The presence of GERD symptoms (24.2% in the study population) was associated with more sputum symptoms. The presence of nasal discharge (43.4%) was associated with more cough and sputum symptoms, whereas post-nasal drip (13.1%) was associated with more sputum symptoms. On multivariate analyses, nasal discharge was associated with more cough symptoms. GERD and post-nasal drip were associated with more sputum symptoms.

Conclusion

This study showed that the presence of GERD and/or nasal symptoms is associated with an increase in bronchitis symptoms. Careful assessment of extrapulmonary comorbidities is necessary in the evaluation of bronchitis symptoms in COPD patients.  相似文献

Background

Cigarette smoking in patients with asthma leads to poor symptom control. As patients who are current smokers have been excluded from enrollment in many clinical trials on asthma, there are few reports on the treatment in current smokers with asthma. In this study, we aimed to assess how respiratory physicians manage asthma in current smokers in Japan.

Methods

Respiratory physicians in 16 Japanese hospitals answered a questionnaire on treatment for patients with asthma between December 2014 and February 2015. Medical records were reviewed for 1756 patients with asthma.

Results

The mean patient age was 61.1 years, and 62.9% of the patients were female. A total of 102 patients (5.8%) were current smokers, and 546 patients (31.1%) were former smokers. Long-acting muscarinic antagonists (LAMA) were prescribed more frequently for current smokers with asthma than for former smokers and never smokers with asthma (10.8% vs 4.6%, p = 0.01, 10.8% vs 3.8%, p < 0.01). In contrast, macrolides were prescribed more frequently for former smokers and never smokers with asthma than for current smokers with asthma (7.7% vs 1.0%, p = 0.01, 6.4% vs 1.0%, p = 0.03). Triple therapy, i.e., inhaled corticosteroids, long-acting beta agonists, and LAMA concomitantly, was prescribed for current smokers with asthma more frequently than for former smokers and never smokers with asthma (9.8% vs 4.0%, p = 0.01, 9.8% vs 3.3%, p < 0.01).

Conclusions

According to this survey, current smokers with asthma received more intensive therapy, including LAMA, than did former smokers with asthma.  相似文献

Background

The designation of some cardiac-specific proteins as prognostic biomarkers in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) exacerbations suggest that the process of exacerbation involves cardiomyocyte injury. Among these cardiac biomarkers, heart-type fatty acid binding protein (h-FABP) is considered a very sensitive diagnostic marker for cardiomyocyte injury and a prognostic marker in chronic heart failure. However, the prognostic usefulness of h-FABP in patients with COPD remains unclear.

Methods

Sixty-six patients were enrolled in this study. Subjects who recovered from COPD exacerbation and were discharged without needing home oxygen therapy were defined as the improved group. Those who died of the COPD exacerbations, were discharged but needed home oxygen therapy, or were transferred to a rehabilitation hospital for respiratory failure and the remaining aftereffects of exacerbation were defined as the unimproved group.

Results

The improved and unimproved groups included 54 and 12 subjects, respectively. Compared with the improved group, the unimproved group had significantly higher white blood cell counts and alanine aminotransferase, lactate dehydrogenase, blood urea nitrogen (BUN), uric acid, potassium, and h-FABP levels, and significantly lower total protein and total cholesterol levels and estimated glomerular filtration rates, either at admission or during the early morning within 24 h after admission. A multivariate analysis revealed that higher serum h-FABP and potassium levels were independently predictive of a poor prognosis following a COPD exacerbation, and a receiver operating characteristic curve analysis yielded a cutoff of 4.5 ng/ml for predicting lack of improvement.

Conclusion

H-FABP may predict the outcomes of COPD exacerbation.  相似文献

Background

Diabetes has been reported as a comorbidity of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in Western countries, but it has not been demonstrated in epidemiological reports in Japan. The purpose of this study was to clarify whether the relationship between airflow obstruction and diabetes can be confirmed in a Japanese general population.

Methods

From 2004 to 2006, blood sampling and pulmonary function tests were performed on 3045 people over the age of 40 years in annual health check-ups held in Takahata, Yamagata Prefecture, Japan. Pulmonary function was re-evaluated in 2009 and 2011.

Results

The prevalence of diabetes did not differ between subjects with and without airflow obstruction. Furthermore, although body mass index decreased, no increase in the prevalence of diabetes was observed with the progression of airflow obstruction. The annual changes in forced expiration volume in 1 s (FEV1) did not differ depending on the presence or absence of diabetes in the study population.

Conclusion

There was no difference in the prevalence of diabetes between subjects with airflow obstruction and those without. As patients with COPD in Japan are thinner than in the West, diabetes may not be a common comorbidity in Japanese patients with COPD.  相似文献

Background

In current guidelines, the role of immune checkpoint inhibitors is not yet determined in the treatment strategy for NSCLC harboring ALK translocations.

Case

A 51-year-old woman with lung adenocarcinoma harboring ALK translocation was treated with alectinib until PD. After the second (CDDP/PEM) and third (crizotinib) line treatment, a second biopsy was performed, revealing PD-L1 tumor proportion score of 70–80% and G1202R mutation of ALK. Pembrolizumab was selected for the fourth line, leading to PR for more than 6 months.

Conclusions

While alectinib might induce resistance to ALK-TKI, it could increase PD-L1 positive cells to become sensitive to PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors.  相似文献

Background

Breath sound parameters have been suggested to be new biomarkers of airway function in patients with asthma.

Methods

We investigated the effect of bronchodilation on breath sound parameters in sixty-four children (mean age, 8.9 years; range, 6–16 years) using a breath sound analyzer. The breath sound parameters included frequency limiting 50% and 99% of the power spectrum (F50 and F99), roll-off from 600–1200?Hz (slope), and spectrum curve indices such as the ratios of the third and fourth power area to the total area of the power spectrum (P3/PT and P4/PT), total area under the curve (A3/AT and B4/AT), and the ratio of power and frequency at 50% and 75% of the highest frequency of the power spectrum (RPF75 and RPF50). Lung function was assessed using spirometry and the forced oscillation technique (FOT). All variables were assessed before and after inhalation of a β2-agonist.

Results

The spectrum curve indices, A3/AT, B4/AT, RPF75, and RPF50, showed statistically significant increase following β2-agonist inhalation. The increase in RPF50 was correlated with the decrease in the difference between resistance at 5?Hz and 20?Hz, R5-R20, measured by FOT. In the multiple regression analysis adjusted for the effect of ΔRPF75, the changes in A3/AT and B4/AT were positively correlated with that in the forced expiratory volume in one second.

Conclusions

The spectrum curve indices indicated bronchodilation, and may be useful for the assessment of bronchial reversibility in children with asthma.  相似文献

Background

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and type 2 diabetes (T2DM) are common comorbidities. COPD is a known risk factor for incident T2DM, however few studies have examined the relationship in reverse. The primary aim of this study was to compare the incidence of COPD in people with and without T2DM.

Materials and methods

We conducted a retrospective case-control study using a long-established English general practice network database (n = 894,646). We matched 29,217 cases of T2DM with controls, adjusting for age, gender, smoking status, BMI and social deprivation, to achieve 1:1 propensity matching and compared the rate of incident COPD over eight years of follow-up. We performed a secondary analysis to investigate the effect of insulin, metformin and sulphonylureas on COPD incidence.

Results

People with T2DM had a reduced risk of COPD compared to matched controls over the follow-up period (HR 0.89, 95%CI 0.79–0.93). 48.5% of those with T2DM were ex-smokers compared with 27.3% of those without T2DM. Active smoking rates were 20.4% and 23.7% respectively. Insulin, metformin and sulphonylureas were not associated with incident COPD.

Conclusions

People with T2DM are less likely to be diagnosed with COPD than matched controls. This may be due to positive lifestyle changes, such as smoking cessation in those with T2DM.  相似文献

Background

Persons with HIV infection who do not achieve virologic suppression contribute significantly to the ongoing HIV epidemic and have an increased risk of clinical sequelae related to immunosuppression. The extent to which substance use and mental health diagnoses affect HIV outcomes and the care continuum has not been previously assessed at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), a large academic HIV clinic.

Methods

To address this knowledge gap and identify targets for intervention, we performed a retrospective chart review to examine associations of substance use and mental health diagnoses with hospitalization and virologic suppression.

Results

Patients with substance use or mental health diagnoses had increased rates of hospitalization and lower rates of sustained longitudinal HIV suppression. Prevalence of distinct substance-related disorders differed by race and sex. Although cocaine, alcohol and cannabis use were common, documented opiate use disorder was surprisingly infrequent given the ongoing opioid epidemic in South Carolina.

Conclusions

These data suggest effective assessment and treatment of substance use disorders will help improve the HIV care continuum in South Carolina.  相似文献

Background

Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) is characterized by progressive impairment of lung function and degradation of daily activity; however, this degradation has not been adequately elucidated. The objective of this study was to measure the physical activity of patients with IPF to determine its relationships with physiological parameters and survival rate.

Methods

In total, 31 patients with IPF and 20 age-matched healthy participants were enrolled in this study. Physical activity was assessed using a physical activity monitor. The relationships among physical activity, physiological data, questionnaire-based patient-centered data, and survival were examined.

Results

Physical activity, expressed as daily activity energy expenditure (AEE), was significantly lower, and the percentage of sedentary time was significantly longer in patients with IPF than in healthy participants. Moreover, AEE was moderately correlated with body-mass index, forced vital capacity, diffusing capacity of carbon monoxide, and partial arterial pressure of oxygen. Relatively strong correlation was also observed between AEE and the 6-min walk distance, but not with daily dyspnea, depression, and health-related quality of life scores. Prognostic analysis indicated that daily AEE was a significant predictor of survival.

Conclusions

Patients with IPF were significantly inactive compared with age-matched healthy participants. In patients with more impaired physiological functions, the lower the physical activity was, the more was the sedentary time increased. Furthermore, lower daily physical activity resulted in significantly worse survival.  相似文献

Background

This study was conducted to assess associations of pleural plaques (PP) and longitudinal lung function in vermiculite miners of Libby, Montana who are occupationally exposed to asbestos. High-resolution computed tomography (HRCT) was used to identify asbestos-related findings in former Libby vermiculite miners. We investigated annual lung function decline in miners with PP only and compared them to miners with normal HRCT findings.

Materials and Methods

HRCTs from 128 miners were categorized into the following 4 diagnostic groups: (1) normal computed tomography scan (n = 9); (2) PP only (n = 72); (3) PP and interstitial fibrosis (n = 26) and (4) additional HRCT abnormalities (n = 21) such as rounded atelectasis, diffuse pleural thickening, pleural effusions or pulmonary nodules or tumor >1 cm in diameter. Random intercept and slope linear mixed-effect regression models identified differences in lung function decline between miners with asbestos-associated outcomes and those with normal HRCT. Models were adjusted for follow-up time, body mass index, smoking status, latent exposure period and employment years. Interactions for smoking status with age and smoking status with pleural plaque severity were examined.

Results

Miners with PP only did not have an accelerated decline in lung function between 40 and 80 years. Miners with PP and additional HRCT abnormalities displayed significantly accelerated declines in forced expiratory volume in 1 second and diffusing capacity of the lungs for carbon monoxide (P = 0.05 and P < 0.01, respectively). Plaque severity did not affect lung function decline. However, smokers with extensive plaques displayed accelerated loss in diffusing capacity of the lungs for carbon monoxide and forced expiratory volume in 1 second when compared to nonsmoking miners with mild plaque formation.

Conclusions

PP alone did not significantly affect lung function decline in vermiculite miners of Libby, Montana.  相似文献

Background

In developing countries, the number of adults who develop myocardial infarction (MI) at a young age is high. The popularity of waterpipe smoking (WPS) has increased among the same age group. It is unknown if WPS contributes to the incidence of early-onset MI.

Objective

To study the association of WPS with early-onset MI, which is defined as first MI occurring in individuals 18 ≥ age ≤ 45 years compared to those older than 45 years.

Methods

This was a cross-sectional study. The association of WPS with first-time MI was compared between younger and older adults (N = 225).

Results

Twenty-five percent of all participants developed an acute MI before the age of 46 years. Both cigarette and WPS were more common among younger first-time MI patients than older first-time MI patients.

Conclusions

WPS is one risk factor that distinguishes the risk profile of young adults with early-onset MI.  相似文献

Background

This study aimed to determine the radiologic predictors and clarify the clinical features related to survival in patients with combined pulmonary fibrosis and emphysema (CPFE) and lung cancer.

Methods

We retrospectively reviewed the medical chart data and high-resolution computed tomography (HRCT) findings for 81 consecutive patients with CPFE and 92 primary lung cancers (70 men, 11 women; mean age, 70.9 years). We selected 8 axial HRCT images per patient, and visually determined the normal lung, modified Goddard, and fibrosis scores. Multivariate analysis was performed using the Cox proportional hazards regression model.

Results

The major clinical features were a high smoking index of 54.8 pack-years and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (n = 44). The major lung cancer profile was a peripherally located squamous cell carcinoma (n = 40) or adenocarcinoma (n = 31) adjacent to emphysema in the upper/middle lobe (n = 27) or fibrosis in the lower lobe (n = 26). The median total normal lung, modified Goddard, and fibrosis scores were 10, 8, and 8, respectively. TNM Classification of malignant tumors (TNM) stage I, II, III, and IV was noted in 37, 7, 26, and 22 patients, respectively. Acute exacerbation occurred in 20 patients. Multivariate analysis showed that a higher normal lung score and TNM stage were independent radiologic and clinical predictors of poor survival at the time of diagnosis of lung cancer.

Conclusions

A markedly reduced area of normal lung on HRCT was a relevant radiologic predictor of survival.  相似文献
