A new antibiotic, lustromycin, was isolated from the cultured broth of Streptomyces sp. SK-1071. It exhibits selective antibacterial activity against anaerobic bacteria including Clostridium sp. The molecular formula C32H38O13 as determined by high resolution mass spectrometry, and elemental analysis and the NMR spectrum suggest structural resemblance of this antibiotic to luminamicin, an anti-anaerobic antibiotic reported previously.  相似文献

A culture identified as Streptomyces karnatakensis was found to produce a novel cyclic hexadepsipeptide antibiotic designated A83586C. The structure was elucidated by X-ray crystallography, and full 1H and 13C NMR assignments are reported. The absolute configuration was confirmed by the detection of D-threonine in the acid hydrolysate of A83586C. A83586C had potent Gram-positive activity in vitro but lacked in vivo efficacy in mice.  相似文献

In our screening of marine streptomycete isolates for bioactive components, a new macrolide antibiotic designated as chalcomycin B (1b) was isolated from the culture broth of a marine Streptomycete isolate B7064 together with chalcomycin (1a) as the active principles. The structure of the new antibiotic was determined by EI and ESI MS, 1H, 13C and 2D NMR spectroscopy and by comparison of the NMR data with those of chalcomycin.  相似文献

Glycinothricin is a streptothricin-class antibiotic obtained for the first time from the culture broth of a strain of Streptomyces griseus. Glycinothricin, the deformimino derivative of antibiotic LL-AB664, gives N-methylstreptolidine, N-methyl-D-glucosamine and glycine on acid hydrolysis. In comparison with LL-AB664, glycinothricin is less active against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria and less toxic to mice.  相似文献

The ethyl acetate extract of the Streptomyces sp. isolate GW99/1572 exhibited significant biological activity against Gram-positive bacteria and delivered kettapeptin (1), a new hexadepsipeptide antibiotic of the azinothricin type. The structure was elucidated by various 1D and 2D NMR techniques, mass spectrometry and by comparison of the NMR data with those of closely related antibiotics. The absolute configuration of the compound was derived by crystal structure analysis and by comparison with the optical rotation data of related compounds.  相似文献
