The toxic and phototoxic growth inhibitory and killing effect of Staphylococcus aureus, S. epidermidis, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Streptococcus pyogenus gr. A, St. viridans, Pityrosporum ovale and Candida albicans were studied. P. ovale and St. viridans were the only micro-organisms with any toxic effect against the other micro-organisms tested. P. ovale inhibited the growth of S. aureus, S. epidermidis, Ps. aeruginosa and E. coli. St. viridans inhibited the growth of S. aureus, S. epidermidis, Ps. aeruginosa, E. coli, St. pyogenus gr. A and P. ovale. This effect was only growth inhibitory and not direct killing. The activity was increased by UVA on S. aureus, S. epidermidis and Ps. aeruginosa but not on E. coli and St. pyogenes gr. A. These effects of P. ovale and St. viridans may be of importance in the defense against infections.  相似文献

In a search for the wound healing accelerators, we found that tetraacetyl-phytosphingosine (TAPS), a sphingolipid metabolite produced by phytosphingosine acetylation, has significant inhibitory potential on healing of rabbit ear wound. As angiogenesis is fundamental to proper wound healing, we examined the effect of TAPS on angiogenesis using human umbilical vein endothelial cells cultured in vitro. TAPS markedly decreased vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF)-induced chemotactic migration and capillary-like tube formation. Recognizing its inhibitory potential on angiogenesis, we further investigated the action mechanism of TAPS. TAPS significantly inhibited VEGF-induced proteolytic enzyme production, including matrix metalloproteinase-2, urokinase-type plasminogen activator and plasminogen activator inhibitor-1. TAPS also suppressed VEGF-induced phosphorylation of p42/44 extracellular signal-regulated kinase and c-Jun N-terminal kinase. In addition, TAPS abolished VEGF-induced intracellular calcium increase, measured using laser scanning confocal microscopy. Together, these results suggest that TAPS exerts its inhibitory action on angiogenesis through the inhibition of mitogen-activated protein kinase activation and intracellular calcium increase, thereby affecting the process of wound healing negatively.  相似文献

目的:观察分析包皮环切术整形改良的临床疗效。方法:选取从2012年3月至2014年3月收治的包皮过长和包茎患者共234例。随机将患者分为观察组和对照组。其中观察组患者采用改良包皮环切术,共117例;对照组患者则采用传统包皮环切术共117例。结果:观察组和对照组的手术时间对比没有统计学意义。但观察组的手术出血量以及术后疼痛持续时间则明显比对照组要短,两组数据对比有统计学差异。观察组术后不良反应率为23.1%,对照组的不良反应率为66.7%,两组数据对比有显著性差异。观察组患者的IIEF-5评分在术后评分出现下降,并且对照组患者下降的幅度大于对照组,说明患者术后性功能受到影响,但观察组的影响要少于对照组患者,两组数据对比有显著性差异。而患者在TSS评分方面,对照组对比手术前后改变不大,观察组患者则是在术后患者性生活满意度得到提高,两组数据对比有显著性差异。结论:改良包皮环切术安全、美观,能够有效治疗包皮过长和包茎,可为患者提供满意的临床效果。  相似文献

白介素12是抗肿瘤细胞因子,主要由单核细胞、树突细胞和巨噬细胞分泌.其主要抗肿瘤机制为:促进固有免疫和获得性免疫、间接抑制肿瘤血管生成、延长并增强免疫记忆.皮下或瘤体内给予白介素12的单独应用即有明显的抗肿瘤作用,与其他免疫制剂联用其抗肿瘤效力增强.白介素12治疗的不良反应主要包括:注射局部的炎症反应以及全身反应.在抗肿瘤免疫治疗中,白介素12疫苗佐剂值得进一步研究.  相似文献

Twenty patients with chronic plaque psoriasis were treated with short-contact anthralin followed by 10% triethanolamine application to one side of the body and aqueous cream to the other. Anthralin-induced inflammation was inhibited on the triethanolamine-treated side whereas anthralin therapy had to be temporarily stopped in 18 patients on the aqueous cream side because of anthralin-induced inflammation. Therapeutic response was not different in the two sides. This study shows that anthralin-induced inflammation and its therapeutic effect can be dissociated.  相似文献
