Peripheral blood leukocytic migratory activity (LMA) was studied in 63 patients with primary erysipelas. To reveal LMA, a screening cell migration test (SCMT) was used as an indicator of the cooperation of T- and B-lymphocytes and macrophages in the stimulation with polysaccharide A, surface proteins, L-antigen, hyaluronidase, streptolysin O, a complete S. pyogenes antigen complex after Grasse. The prognostic value of MAL parameters was established at week 1 after the onset of erysipelas. A rapid transition of LMA from the phase of acceleration to that of inhibition was shown to characterize the formation of an adequate response, to correspond to the good course of the disease, and to be followed by the low likelihood of recurrences. The probability of a subsequent recurrence is much higher than that when LMA tends to transit from suppression to acceleration and when LMA parameters are constant in the phase of suppression or acceleration. No transition of LMA to the phase of suppression in early convalescence suggests that the formation of an immune response to streptococcus is delayed.  相似文献

The trial entered 66 patients with recurrent erysipelas treated conventionally with addition of either immunostimulator bemitil (0.25-0.5 g/day orally for 5-7 days) or placebo. The bemitil group was free of intoxication symptoms and local manifestations, discharged from hospital sooner than the controls. Therapeutic efficacy of bemitil is due to its promotion of mononuclear phagocytes function which acts as an essential mechanism of antibacterial defence activation in patients with recurrent erysipelas.  相似文献

We report a case of Waterhouse-Friderichsen syndrome associated with group A streptococcus (GAS) toxic shock syndrome in a previously healthy man. The patient presented with neck pain and fevers of 2 days' duration. Computed tomography of the neck revealed a mass in the retropharyngeal space, suggesting an abscess. Despite prompt treatment with appropriate antibiotics, the patient experienced a fulminant course and died within 8 hours of presentation. Antemortem blood cultures grew GAS positive for exotoxins A, B, and C. Postmortem examination revealed bilateral adrenal hemorrhage, consistent with Waterhouse-Friderichsen syndrome. Immunohistochemical analysis of the adrenal glands revealed the presence of GAS antigens. However, no disseminated intravascular coagulation was evident. This case demonstrates that adrenal hemorrhage can occur without associated coagulopathy and may result directly from the action of bacterial toxins.  相似文献

Objective To investigate the differential expression of serial specific antigens in patients with acute leukemia(AL)and its clinical significance.Methods Multi-parameter flow cytometry and CD45/SSC gating were used to analyze the surface and cytoplasmic antigen expression in juvenile cells of 183 AL patients.Results CD13,CD33 and CD117 were the most commonly expressed surface antigens in acute myeloid leukemia(AML)patients(95.0%,95.7%and 81.4% respectively).The specificity of CD117 was higher than that of CD13 and CD33(P<0.01).There were no significant differents in sensitivity and specificity between cytoplasmic antigen MPO and surface antigen CD117(P>0.05).In B-lineage acute lymphocytic leukemia(ALL),the sensitivity of CD19 was higher than CD20,but the specificity was similar tO CD20.cCD79a showed high sensitivity and specificity.In T-lineage ALL,the sensitivity of CD7 was high(95.0%),but the specificity was low(70.8%).But the sensitivity and specificity of cCD3 was 85.0% and 95.7% respectively.Conclusion Muli-parameter flow cytometry is a reliable technique in monitoring the expression of lineage-related surface/cytoplasmic antigens in the diagnosis of acute leukemia.  相似文献

目的探讨细胞系列特异性抗原在急性白血病(AL)中表达的差异及其临床意义。方法采用CD45/SSC双参数设门流式细胞术检测183例AL患者幼稚细胞表面及胞浆抗原表达。结果在AML中,细胞膜抗原CD13、CD33、CD117表达最常见,分别为95.0%、95.7%和81.4%,但CD117特异性高于CD13和CD33(P〈0.01);胞浆抗原cMPO敏感性和特异性与CD117比较,差异无统计学意义(P〉0.05);在B-ALL中胞膜抗原CD19敏感性高于CD20(P〈0.01),两者特异性比较,差异无统计学意义;胞浆抗原cCD79a敏感性与CD19比较,差异无统计学意义(P〉0.05),但特异性高于CD19(P〈0.01);T-ALL中胞膜抗原CD7敏感性较高,达95.0%,但特异性仅为70.8%,胞浆抗原cCD3敏感性和特异性分别为85.0%和95.7%。结论多参数流式细胞术检测细胞系列特异性胞膜/胞浆抗原表达是诊断AL的一项可靠技术。  相似文献

A method is described for the preparation of sera highly active in reactions with Group A Streptococcus lipoteichoic acid. Ultrasound-destroyed biomass of Streptomyces levoris K-3053 strain is used as the antigen. This strain was isolated in studies of soil Streptomyces; it contains sufficient amounts of nonglycosylated glycerolteichoic acid of the first-third types, that is identical in structure to polyglycerophosphate skeleton of Group A Streptococcus lipoteichoic acid.  相似文献

The effect of a water-soluble trimalonic acid derivative of fullerene, carboxyfullerene, against Streptococcus pyogenes infection was tested. Pretreatment with carboxyfullerene was able to protect mice from S. pyogenes infection in an air pouch model. S. pyogenes-induced death and skin injury were inhibited dose dependently by carboxyfullerene. Administration of carboxyfullerene via the peritoneum and air pouch at 3 h post-S. pyogenes infection was able to protect 33% of mice from death. Surveys of exudates of the air pouch of carboxyfullerene-treated mice revealed that survival of infiltrating neutrophils was prolonged and that the bacteria were eliminated as a result of enhanced bactericidal activity of the neutrophils. Furthermore, carboxyfullerene was able to directly inhibit in vitro growth of S. pyogenes. These data suggest that carboxyfullerene can be considered an antimicrobial agent for group A streptococcus infection.  相似文献

Group A streptococcus-associated severe invasive infection (streptococcal toxic shock syndrome) has been described. Streptococcal toxic shock syndrome occurs when the infecting strain of group A streptococcus produces superantigens. Confusion and combativeness are well known as the common symptoms of streptococcal toxic shock syndrome. We encountered a child who suffered from pyogenic sacroiliitis, with confusion and combativeness. Group A streptococcus was isolated from the patient’s blood culture. However, his disease did not fulfill the criteria of streptococcal toxic shock syndrome. Pyogenic sacroiliitis in children is rare, but patients with pyogenic sacroiliitis due to group A streptococcus infection could show confusion and combativeness as clinical signs, similar to the signs in streptococcal toxic shock syndrome.  相似文献
