Species of the Metastrongylus genus, the lung nematodes of pigs that require an intermediate host (earthworm) to complete their cycle, pose a potential risk to both livestock and humans. This parasite which can result in lung pathology and mixed infections with other pathogens (e.g. viruses) can be fatal to pigs. Although this genus is distributed worldwide, there are no classification keys for identifying this common parasite species. In this work, we take advantage of parasitological surveys of wild boar (Sus scrofa) in northern and central Spain and southern Poland to develop a morphological identification key for the five most common Metastrongylus species (Metastrongylus apri, Metastrongylus pudendotectus, Metastrongylus salmi, Metastrongylus confusus and Metastrongylus asymetricus). In addition, we provide the first record of M. confusus in Spain, probably unidentified until now due to the lack of appropriate identification keys. We hope that this user-friendly identification key will enable parasitologists and veterinary practitioners to avoid further misclassifications of Metastrongylus species.  相似文献

Maternal pertussis-specific antibodies are passively acquired by infants during pregnancy. An IgG pertussis toxin (IgG-PT) concentration of >20 U/ml is considered to protect neonates against pertussis. To evaluate the IgG concentration at birth and during the first two months of life, we examined the IgG-PT concentration in the umbilical cord blood and three times during the neonatal and early infant period. IgG-PT was measured by validated IgG-specific enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA) in umbilical cord blood and in Guthrie card blood samples of umbilical cord blood in 2,790 children, born between 1 August 2006 and 1 December 2008. These measurements were comparable. All children with concentrations of IgG-PT >30 U/ml were included. IgG-PT was also measured in Guthrie card blood samples, when the neonates or early infants were 5 days, 1 month and 2 months old. The mean concentrations of IgG-PT were calculated. The mean concentration of IgG-PT in umbilical cord blood was 60.1 U/ml (LN 4.1; 0.6 SD; n?=?103). At the age of 5 days, 1 month and 2 months, the mean concentration of IgG-PT was 40.6 U/ml (LN 3.7; 0.5 SD; n?=?103), 20.7 U/ml (LN 3.0; 0.7 SD; n?=?62) and 16.7 U/ml (LN 2.8; 0.9 SD; n?=?61), respectively. Four percent of the neonates had a concentration of IgG-PT >30 U/ml in umbilical cord blood, which declined to levels around the concentration needed for protection against pertussis (>20 U/ml) in the first two months of life. Hence, it is of great importance to further investigate the safety of maternal immunisation during pregnancy to prevent life-threatening pertussis in newborns.  相似文献

Friedreich ataxia (FRDA), a recessive neurodegenerative disorder commonly associated with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, is due to GAA repeat expansions within the first intron of the frataxin (FXN) gene encoding the mitochondrial protein involved in iron–sulfur cluster biosynthesis. The triplet codon repeats lead to heterochromatin-mediated gene silencing and loss of frataxin. Nevertheless, inadequacy of existing FRDA-cardiac cellular models limited cardiomyopathy studies. We tested the hypothesis that iron homeostasis deregulation accelerates reduction in energy synthesis dynamics which contributes to impaired cardiac calcium homeostasis and contractile force. Silencing of FXN expressions occurred both in somatic FRDA-skin fibroblasts and two of the induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC) clones; a sign of stress condition was shown in FRDA-iPSC cardiomyocytes with disorganized mitochondrial network and mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) depletion; hypertrophic cardiac stress responses were observed by an increase in α-actinin-positive cell sizes revealed by FACS analysis as well as elevation in brain natriuretic peptide (BNP) gene expression; the intracellular iron accumulated in FRDA cardiomyocytes might be due to attenuated negative feedback response of transferring receptor (TSFR) expression and positive feedback response of ferritin (FTH1); energy synthesis dynamics, in terms of ATP production rate, was impaired in FRDA-iPSC cardiomyocytes, which were prone to iron overload condition. Energetic insufficiency determined slower Ca2+ transients by retarding calcium reuptake to sarcoplasmic reticulum (SR) and impaired the positive inotropic and chronotropic responses to adrenergic stimulation. Our data showed for the first time that FRDA-iPSCs cardiac derivatives represent promising models to study cardiac stress response due to impaired iron homeostasis condition and mitochondrial damages. The cardiomyopathy phenotype was accelerated in an iron-overloaded condition early in calcium homeostasis aspect.  相似文献

In the majority of cytomegalovirus (CMV) immunoglobulin G (IgG) avidity assays, avidity determination can be performed on the entire CMV IgG measurable positive concentration range. However, in some exceptional samples with very low IgG levels, inappropriately low avidity indexes have been described. In this study, we addressed some possible causes and the clinical importance of these inappropriately low avidity indexes. We compared VIDAS (bioMérieux), Liaison (DiaSorin), and Architect (Abbott) CMV IgG avidity assays on 129 samples from patients with past CMV infections, focusing on samples with low IgG levels. Inappropriately low avidity samples were further evaluated using seven different urea-based IgG avidity assays. We confirmed that inappropriately low avidity indexes in samples with very low IgG levels occur, but are rare. We could show that this phenomenon is not confined to a single assay and that assays employing chaotropic agents are affected more frequently and profoundly. In situations where the CMV IgG avidity is performed on CMV immunoglobulin M (IgM)-negative samples, the avidity index should be interpreted cautiously in cases of very low CMV IgG levels, whatever the technique used.  相似文献

Clonorchis sinensis excretory/secretory products (ESP) have gained high attentions because of their potential to be vaccine candidates and drug targets in C. sinensis prevention. In this study, we extensively profiled the characteristics of four C. sinensis cathepsin B cysteine proteases (CsCB1, CsCB2, CsCB3, and CsCB4). Bioinformatics analysis showed all CsCBs contained signal peptides at the N-terminal. Functional domains and residues were found in CsCB sequences. We expressed four CsCBs and profiled immune responses followed by vaccine trials. Recombinant CsCBs could induce high IgG titers, indicating high immunogenicity of CsCB family. Additionally, ELISA results showed that both IgG1 and IgG2a levels apparently increased post-immunization with all four CsCBs, showing that combined Th1/Th2 immune responses were triggered by CsCB family. Both Real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and Western blotting confirmed that four CsCBs have distinct expression patterns in C. sinensis life stages. More importantly, we validated our hypothesis that CsCBs were C. sinensis excretory/secretory products. CsCBs could be recognized by C. sinensis-infected sera throughout the infection period, indicating that secreted CsCBs are immune triggers during C. sinensis infection. The protective effect was assessed by comparing the worm burden and egg per gram (EPG) between CsCB group and control group, showing that worm burden (P?P?CsCB2 and CsCB3 groups were significantly lower than in control group. In conclusion, we profiled secreted cathepsin B cysteine proteases family for the first time and demonstrated that all CsCB family were C. sinensis excretory/secretory products that may regulate host immune responses.  相似文献

Heat-shock protein 60 (Hsp60) has been shown to provoke inflammation, and anti-Hsp60 may facilitate the development of atherosclerosis. In this study, we have investigated 30 patients with mixed connective tissue disease (MCTD) and assessed anti-Hsp60 and their relationship to cardiovascular diseases (CVD). Out of 30 patients with MCTD, 15 had CVDs. Anti-Hsp60 antibody was determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Since endothelial dysfunction and accelerated atherosclerosis are characteristic to MCTD, a wide array of MCTD-, endothelial dysfunction- and CVD-associated parameters was investigated: serum lipid levels, paraoxonase activity (PON1), rich nuclear ribonucleoprotein U1 (anti-U1RNP), anti-endothelial cell antibodies, anti-cardiolipin and anti-β2-glycoprotein I antibody isotypes (anti-CL and anti-β2GPI), endothelin-1 (ET-1) levels, also intima–media thickness (IMT), a quantitative indicator of atherosclerosis. In MCTD, anti-Hsp60 antibody levels were significantly higher than in healthy individuals (p < 0.02). MCTD patients with CVD had significantly higher levels of anti-Hsp60 compared to MCTD without CVD (p = 0.001). Patients with MCTD had significantly lower high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (p = 0.02) and PON activity (p < 0.001), and significantly increased systolic (p < 0.0002) and diastolic (p < 0.001) blood pressure compared to healthy individuals. Anti-U1RNP levels (p < 0.002) and IMT were higher in patients compared to controls (p = 0.002). The CVD-positive MCTD patients had increased anti-Hsp60 (p < 0.0013), anti-CL IgG (p = 0.0005), ET-1 serum concentration (p < 0.05) and IMT levels (p < 0.001) compared to MCTD patients without CVD. Anti-Hsp60 showed a strong correlation with anti-oxLDL (r = 0.36, p = 0.01) and serum ET-1 (r = 0.62, p < 0.001) and negative correlation with PON activity (r = ?0.47, p = 0.01). Anti-Hsp60 indicates endothelial injury, CVD, and can function as a novel atherosclerotic risk factor, also a valuable diagnostic marker in patients with MCTD.  相似文献

Objective

Mononuclear cell infiltration in valvular tissue is one of the characteristics in calcific aortic valve disease. The inflammatory responses of aortic valve interstitial cells (AVICs) play an important role in valvular inflammation. However, it remains unclear what may evoke AVIC inflammatory responses. Accumulation of biglycan has been found in diseased aortic valve leaflets. Soluble biglycan can function as a danger-associated molecular pattern to induce the production of proinflammatory mediators in cultured macrophages. We tested the hypothesis that soluble biglycan induces AVIC production of proinflammatory mediators involved in mononuclear cell infiltration through Toll-like receptor (TLR)-dependent signaling pathways.

Methods

Human AVICs isolated from normal aortic valve leaflets were treated with specific siRNA and neutralizing antibody against TLR2 or TLR4 before biglycan stimulation. The production of ICAM-1 and MCP-1 was assessed. To determine the signaling pathway involved, phosphorylation of ERK1/2 and p38 MAPK was analyzed, and specific inhibitors of ERK1/2 and p38 MAPK were applied.

Results

Soluble biglycan induced ICAM-1 expression and MCP-1 release in human AVICs, but had no effect on IL-6 release. TLR4 blockade and knockdown reduced ICAM-1 and MCP-1 production induced by biglycan, while knockdown and neutralization of TLR2 resulted in greater suppression of the inflammatory responses. Biglycan induced the phosphorylation of ERK1/2 and p38 MAPK, but ICAM-1 and MCP-1 production was reduced only by inhibition of the ERK1/2 pathway. Further, inhibition of ERK1/2 attenuated NF-κB activation following biglycan treatment.

Conclusions

Soluble biglycan induces the expression of ICAM-1 and MCP-1 in human AVICs through TLR2 and TLR4 and requires activation of the ERK1/2 pathway. AVIC inflammatory responses induced by soluble biglycan may contribute to the mechanism of chronic inflammation associated with calcific aortic valve disease.  相似文献

Hyaluronan (HA) regulates malignant tumor growth, invasion, and metastasis. However, few studies have focused on the roles of HA in tumorigenicity in malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumors (MPNST). In this study, we sought to clarify the prognostic value of HA in patients with MPNST. Specimens obtained from 15 patients with neurofibroma and 30 with MPNST were subjected to HA staining and scored as three grades. Protein expressions of HA synthase 1–3 were examined in the 22 MPNST tissue samples available. Statistically higher HA positivity was observed in MPNST as compared with neurofibroma (P = 0.020). The univariate analysis revealed that increased HA expression, age, neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) status, large tumor size, and histological grade were significantly associated with reduced overall survival of patients with MPNST; while increased HA expression, NF1 status, tumor size, and histological grade were correlated with disease-free survival. However, HA synthase 1–3 expression related to neither overall survival nor disease-free survival of these patients. In multivariate analysis, large tumor size (P = 0.022) was an independent prognostic factor for overall survival, and HA expression (P = 0.028) and tumor size (P = 0.002) were independent prognostic factors for disease-free survival. Statistically higher levels of HA in the human MPNST cells were observed compared with neurofibroma cells in vitro. Our results demonstrate that HA expression can be a useful marker in differentiating MPNST from neurofibroma, and in identifying patients with a poor prognosis. Hyaluronan-targeting therapy for patients with MPNST may have potential as a therapeutic tool.  相似文献

Objectives and design

Inflammation has a prominent role in the development of atherosclerosis. Type 2 diabetes could contribute to atherosclerosis development by promoting inflammation. This status might accelerate changes in intrinsic vascular wall cells and favor plaque formation. Cyclooxygenase 2 (COX-2) is highly expressed in atherosclerotic plaques. COX-2 gene expression is promoted through activation of toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) and pro-inflammatory cytokine interleukin 1β (IL1-β). Aim of this study is to investigate whether expression profiles of pro-inflammatory genes such as COX-2, TLR4 and IL1-β in atherosclerotic plaques are altered in type 2 diabetes (T2D).

Methods

Total RNA was isolated from plaques of atherosclerotic patients and expression of COX-2, TLR4, IL1-β analyzed using real-time PCR. Histological analysis was performed on sections of the plaque to establish the degree of instability.

Results

Statistically significant differences in mRNA expression of COX-2 and IL1-β were found in plaques of T2D compared with non-T2D patients. A multi-variable linear regression model suggests that COX-2 mRNA expression is affected by T2D pathology and IL1-β mRNA expression in atherosclerotic plaques.

Conclusions

Our results support the hypothesis that T2D pathology contributes in vivo to increase the inflammatory process associated with the atherosclerotic plaque formation, as shown by an increment of COX-2 and IL1-β mRNA expression.  相似文献

Purpose

IPEX (Immunodysregulation, Polyendocrinopathy, Enteropathy, X-linked) is a rare X-linked recessive life-threatening disorder characterized by autoimmunity and early death. Pulmonary complication related with IPEX has not been elucidated exactly. Here, we report 4 IPEX patients, 3 of which died from severe pulmonary disease.

Methods

Clinical data and laboratory findings including autoantibodies, immunoglobulin levels as well as number of T, B and NK cells were evaluated. FOXP3 expression and T reg activity were analyzed. The FOXP3 gene was sequenced and RNA analysis was performed.

Results

Patient I (PI) presented with nephrotic syndrome at 3 years of age and then developed autoimmune hepatitis without eczema, enteropathy or high IgE and died at 9 years of age due to acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). Two cousins of PI had the same hypomorphic splice site mutation leading to a deletion of 27 amino acids, but normal FOXP3 protein expression and normal suppressive capacity of T reg in a proliferation inhibition assay. However, they exhibited typical symptoms such as eczema, diabetes and enteropathy with eosinophilia at early age (PII, PIII) and were transplanted in infancy. One of them had severe respiratory distress right after birth (PIII). Patient IV from another family presented with chronic diarrhea without autoimmune manifestations and died due to ARDS.

Conclusion

Lung disease related to IPEX syndrome has not been reported before and this entity could be a critical factor in disease outcome.  相似文献

Objectives

We have previously demonstrated that a stable synthetic analog of 20-hydroxyeicosatetraenoic acid (20-HETE), N-(20-hydroxyeicosa-5[Z],14[Z]-dienoyl)glycine (5,14-HEDGE), which mimics the effects of endogenously produced 20-HETE, prevents vascular hyporeactivity, hypotension, tachycardia, inflammation, and mortality in a rodent model of septic shock. The present study was performed to determine whether decreased renal and cardiovascular expression and activity of myeloid differentiation factor 88 (MyD88)/transforming growth factor-activated kinase 1 (TAK1)/inhibitor of κB (IκB) kinase β (IKKβ)/IκB-α/nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB) pathway and reduced circulating microRNA (miR)-150, miR-223, and miR-297 expression levels participate in the protective effect of 5,14-HEDGE against hypotension, tachycardia, and inflammation in response to systemic administration of lipopolysaccharide (LPS).

Methods

Conscious male Wistar rats received saline (4 ml/kg) or LPS (10 mg/kg) at time 0. Blood pressure and heart rate were measured using a tail-cuff device. Separate groups of LPS-treated rats were given 5,14-HEDGE (30 mg/kg) 1 h after injection of saline or LPS. The rats were killed 4 h after LPS challenge and blood, kidney, heart, thoracic aorta, and superior mesenteric artery were collected for measurement of the protein expression.

Results

LPS-induced fall in blood pressure and rise in heart rate were associated with increased MyD88 expression and phosphorylation of TAK1 and IκB-α in cytosolic fractions of the tissues. LPS also caused an increase in both unphosphorylated and phosphorylated NF-κB p65 proteins in the cytosolic and nuclear fractions as well as nuclear translocation of NF-κB p65. In addition, serum miR-150, miR-223, and miR-297 expression levels were increased in LPS-treated rats. These effects of LPS were prevented by 5,14-HEDGE.

Conclusions

These results suggest that downregulation of MyD88/TAK1/IKKβ/IκB-α/NF-κB pathway as well as decreased circulating miR-150, miR-223, and miR-297 expression levels participate in the protective effect of 5,14-HEDGE against hypotension, tachycardia, and inflammation in the rat model of septic shock.  相似文献

Actin is a globular multi-functional protein that forms microfilaments, and participates in many important cellular processes. Previous study found that Haemonchus contortus actin could be recognized by the serum of goats infected with the homology parasite. This indicated that H. contortus actin could be a potential candidate for vaccine. In this study, DNA vaccine encoding H. contortus actin was tested for protection against experimental H. contortus infections in goats. Fifteen goats were allocated into three trial groups. The animals of Actin group were vaccinated with the DNA vaccine on day 0 and 14, and challenged with 5000 infective H. contortus third stage larval (L3) on day 28. An unvaccinated positive control group was challenged with L3 at the same time. An unvaccinated negative control group was not challenged with L3. The results showed that DNA vaccine were transcribed at local injection sites and expressed in vivo post immunizations respectively. For goats in Actin vaccinated group, higher levels of serum IgG, serum IgA and mucosal IgA were produced, the percentages of CD4+ T lymphocytes, CD8+ T lymphocytes and B lymphocytes and the concentrations of TGF-β were increased significantly (P<0.05). Following L3 challenge, the mean eggs per gram feces (EPG) and worm burdens of Actin group were reduced by 34.4% and 33.1%, respectively. This study suggest that recombinant H. contortus Actin DNA vaccine induced partial immune response and has protective potential against goat haemonchosis.  相似文献

Thec-erbB-2 proto-oncogene encodes a 190-kD putative membrane receptor that shows considerable homology to the epidermal growth factor (EGF) receptor.c-erbB-2 is overexpressed in many human tumors but has not previously been studied in pituitary tumors. In the normal pituitary gland, EGF is believed to play a regulatory role, but EGF receptors were found to be absent in a study of 22 pituitary adenomas. In the present study, 32 human pituitary adenomas and 7 samples of normal human pituitary were stained for thec-erbB-2 oncoprotein. All were negative for membrane staining, which suggests that amplification of thec-erbB-2 oncogene is not important in the etiology and progression of human pituitary adenomas.  相似文献

Soluble guanylyl cyclase (sGC), phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5), and guanosine 3′,5′-cyclic monophosphate (cGMP)-dependent protein kinase (PKG) are all dimeric. The present study was to determine the role of their dimeric status in nitric oxide-induced vasodilatation. In isolated porcine coronary arteries, after 20 h incubation with serum-free medium, serum-containing medium, or phosphate-buffered saline solution, the protein levels of the dimers of sGC, PDE5, and PKG were diminished while the monomer levels remained unchanged, associated with reduced cGMP elevation in response to DETA NONOate and decreased PDE5 activity; the activity of PKG was not significantly altered. DETA NONOate caused a greater relaxation in arteries incubated for 20 vs. 2 h. The relaxant response was largely abolished by 1H-[1, 2, 4]oxadiazolo[4,3-a]quinoxalin-1-one, an sGC inhibitor. Zaprinast, a PDE5 inhibitor, had no effect on relaxation caused by DETA NONOate of arteries incubated for 20 h but augmented the response incubated for 2 h. A greater relaxation to 8-bromo-guanosine 3′5′-cyclic monophosphate occurred in arteries incubated for 20 than for 2 h. The protein level of the dimers but not monomers of PDE5 was reduced by dithiothreitol and unaffected by hydrogen peroxide, accompanied with decreased PDE5 activity and reduced response to DETA NONOate. These results demonstrate that the dimeric but not monomeric status of sGC and PDE5 of coronary arteries are closely related to their activities. The preserved vasodilator response after 20 h incubation may result in part from a synchronous reduction of the dimer levels of sGC and PDE5 as well as an augmented response to cGMP.  相似文献

The first clinical case of canine angiostrongylosis from Slovakia, previously infection-free country, is described. 18-month old male Bernese mountain dog living in south-eastern part of Slovakia showed poor health condition characterized by weight loss, irritating cough, dispnoe, intense salivation, vomiting and bilateral scleral bleeding. Two times even the acute physical collapse occurred. Blood analysis was provided and revealed increase of total protein, eosinophilia, monocytosis, and mild thrombocytopenia. Anaemia characterized by reduced number of erythrocytes and reduced levels of haemoglobin, packed cell volume and iron was also diagnosed. Larvoscopic Baermann technique revealed the presence of Angiostrongylus first stage larvae. Infected dog excreted larvae in high numbers — in 10 g of the faecal material more than 800 larvae were counted. DNA analysis using PCR confirmed the presence of Angiostrongylus vasorum species. The first clinical case of angiostrongylosis has evidenced that the new life-threatening parasitic disease of dogs has spread to the territory of Slovakia. A serious effort is therefore inevitable to increase the professional awareness and knowledge on diagnosis, treatment and prevention.  相似文献

Detection of antibodies to nonstructural proteins (NSP) of foot-and-mouth disease virus is the preferred diagnostic method to differentiate infected from vaccinated animals. In India, an endemic region practising preventive biannual vaccination, 3AB3 indirect ELISA (r3AB3 I-ELISA) has been employed as the primary screening test for serosurveillance. However, because of the variability observed in the immune response to the NSPs, the likelihood of detecting or confirming an infected animal is increased if an antibody profile against multiple NSPs is considered for diagnosis. In this study, all three copies of NSP 3B were expressed in a prokaryotic system to develop an indirect ELISA (r3B I-ELISA). At the decided cutoff of 40 percent positivity, the diagnostic sensitivity and specificity of the r3B I-ELISA were estimated to be 92.1 % (95 % CI: 89.0–94.5) and 98.1 % (95 % CI: 96.9–98.8), respectively, as compared to 97.04 % and 95.04 % for r3AB3 I-ELISA. Although r3B I-ELISA displayed lower sensitivity compared to the screening assay, which could possibly be attributed to additional relevant B-cell epitopes in the carboxy-terminal half of the 3A protein, the former achieved considerably higher specificity on repeatedly vaccinated animals. NSP antibodies could be detected from 10 to as late as 998 days postinfection in experimental calves. Substantial agreement in the test results (90.6 %) was found between the two ELISAs. The r3B I-ELISA, when used in conjunction with the r3AB3 I-ELISA as an integrated system, can potentially augment the efficiency and confidence of detection of infected herds against the backdrop of intensive vaccination.  相似文献

Objective

It was previously reported that docosahexanoic acid (DHA) reduces TNF-α-induced necrosis in L929 cells. However, the mechanisms underlying this reduction have not been investigated. The present study was designed to investigate cellular and biochemical mechanisms underlying the attenuation of TNF-α-induced necroptosis by DHA in L929 cells.

Methods

L929 cells were pre-treated with DHA prior to exposure to TNF-α, zVAD, or Necrostatin-1 (Nec-1). Cell death and survival were assessed by MTT and caspase activity assays, and microscopic visualization. Reactive oxygen species (ROS) were measured by flow cytometry. C16- and C18-ceramides were measured by mass spectrometry. Lysosomal membrane permeabilization (LMP) was evaluated by fluorescence microscopy and flow cytometry using Acridine Orange. Cathepsin L activation was evaluated by immunoblotting and fluorescence microscopy. Autophagy was assessed by immunoblotting of LC3-II and Beclin.

Results

Exposure of L929 cells to TNF-α alone for 24 h induced necroptosis, as evidenced by the inhibition of cell death by Nec-1, absence of caspase-3 activity and Lamin B cleavage, and morphological analysis. DHA attenuated multiple biochemical events associated with TNF-α-induced necroptosis, including ROS generation, ceramide production, lysosomal dysfunction, cathepsin L activation, and autophagic features. DHA also attenuated zVAD-induced necroptosis but did not attenuate the enhanced apoptosis and necrosis induced by the combination of TNF-α with Actinomycin D or zVAD, respectively, suggesting that its protective effects might be limited by the strength of the cell death insult induced by TNF-α.

Conclusions

DHA effectively attenuates TNF-α-induced necroptosis and autophagy, most likely via its ability to inhibit TNF-α-induced sphingolipid metabolism and oxidative stress. These results highlight the role of this Omega-3 fatty acid in antagonizing inflammatory cell death.  相似文献
