External cystic rectal duplication: an unusual presentation of rectal duplication cyst

Duplications of gastrointestinal tract are rare anomalies, and rectal duplications account for five percent of the alimentary tract duplications. We present an unusual case of rectal duplication, which was located externally in a newborn female, and discuss the types of distal hindgut duplications.     

Abdominal pancreatic pseudocyst--an unusual cause of dysphagia

A 44 year old man with a long history of alcohol abuse developed progressive dysphagia. Radiological investigation revealed a pancreatic pseudocyst. Following percutaneous drainage the dysphagia resolved.     

An unusual cause of dysphagia: a vascular ring.

A 40 year old woman presented with dysphagia which was due to one of the forms of vascular ring. Her symptoms were relieved by relatively conservative surgery. The means of diagnosis and the surgical approach are discussed.
