ELONGATED-NEEDLE TREATMENT OF URINARY INCONTINENCE CAUSED BY APOPLEXY

In the present paper, the effect of deep insertion of elongated needle onto pelvic nerve(pelvic plexus) for treatment of 32 cases of urinary incontinence caused by apoplexy was observed andcompared to that of filiform needle group (25 cases). Results showed that the total effective rates ofthe elongated needle group and the filiform needle group were 96. 88 % and 68 % respectively, display-ing a significant difference (P<0.05) between the two groups. In addition, mechanisms of elongatedneedle in treatment of incontinence of urine were analyzed preliminarily.     

CLINICAL OBSERVATION ON TREATMENT OF 89 CASES OF URINE RETENTION WITH ACUPUNCTURE

In the present paper,89 cases of urine retention patients were treated with acupuncture therapy.Qugu(CV2) and Zhaohai(Kl 6) were punctured and stimulated with reinforcing or reducing needling method according to syndrome differentiation.Following treatment,of the 89 cases,69(77.5%)had remarkble improvement of their symptome,19(21.3%) experienced improvement and one had no apparent change,with the total effective rate being 98.8%.

A REPORT OF THE TREATMENT OF 103 CASES WITH POSTPARTUM RETENTION OF URINE

The acupuncture treatment with Zi Wu Dao Jiu needling was used to treat thepostpartum retention of urine and produced a therapeutic effect better than that of urethral catheteri-zation. The remarkable effectiveness rate in patients with a clinical course less than 4 days was 99％.The acupuncture at Huiyang (BL 35) point might stimulate pudendal nerve and relax muscles of uri-nary bladder and urethra to facilitate the discharge of urine.     

针刺配合语言训练治疗脑梗死致运动性失语的临床研究

目的：观察针刺配合语言训练治疗缺血性中风失语症的临床疗效，探讨针刺治疗本病的机理。方法：两组共60例病人纳入研究，以随机数字表法将合格的研究对象分为实验组与对照组，实验组为针刺配合语言训练治疗，对照组为单纯语言训练。针刺治疗以舌针取穴为主；语言训练分口腔发音器官的训练，口形及声音训练，口语表达训练以及实用交流能力的训练。在疗程前后以《汉语标准失语症检查表》（ABC法）各作一次语言检测评价；以及疗程前后进行事件相关电位（P300）检测。结果：两组疗效有差异，其中治疗组疗效比对照组疗效好（P〈0．05），治疗组（ABC）汉语失语检查法各亚项（信息量，流利性，复述，词命名，颜色命名，反应命名，是否，听辨认，执行指令）分值明显高于对照组，两组比较差异有显著性意义（P〈0．05），治疗一个疗程后，治疗组P。电位成分中N2，P3波潜伏期缩短，和P3波幅升高明显，与对照组比较差异有显著性意义（P〈0．05）。结论：针刺配合语言训练治疗脑梗死致运动性失语疗效显著，其效果优于单纯的语言训练组。汉语失语检查法各亚项（信息量，流利性，复述，词命名，颜色命名，反应命名，是否，听辨认，执行指令）分值提高，P湖电位成分中N2，P3波潜伏期缩短，和P3波幅升高，可作为临床评价和预测针刺治疗缺血性中风运动性失语症的疗效指标，也是临床治疗机理之一。

ACUPUNCTURE THERAPY AND POINT-INJECTION OF MEDICINE FOR TREATMENT OF 32 CASES OF INFANTILE CEREBRAL PALSY

In the present study, 32 cases of infantile cerebral palsy were treated with acupunc-ture and point-injection therapies. Among them, 15 cases were cured basicaly, 7 markedly efec-tive, 9 improved and 2 failed, with a total effective rate being 93. 8%. The results showed thatthe therapies both could improve the microcirculation of the brain tissues in favour of recovery ofcerebral functions.     

ACUPUNCTURE TREATING 32 CASES OF MUSCULUS QUADRICEPS FEMORIS INJURY CAUSED BY QUINIMAX
