唇形科鼠尾草属植物具有多种药理活性。本文对野生于西班牙格拉那达省的薰衣草叶鼠尾草(Salvialavandulifolia)进行动物降血糖药理试验。采集薰衣草叶鼠尾草花枝顶部,于20~25℃烘干研碎,用蒸馏水制成10%浸剂和25%(P/V)混悬剂供试。实验取体重2~3kg 兔(雌雄兼用)进行试验。给正常和高血糖动物(由葡萄糖或四氧嘧啶诱发)薰衣草叶鼠尾草浸剂或混悬剂后进行血胰岛素水平测定。结果表明,正常血糖兔灌服薰衣草叶鼠尾草浸剂>0.250g/ 相似文献

Kang-chih-ma is the dried roots and stems of Helicteres angustifolia (Sterculiaceae) and a commonly used folk herbal drug in Taiwan. It possesses anti-dotal, analgesic, anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial effects and is also known as a kind of tumor inhibitory plant. To evaluate the quality of H. angustifolia, a simple, rapid and accurate high-performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) method was developed for the assay of three lupane type triterpenes: 3β-acetoxy-27-benzoyloxylup-20(29)-en-28-oic acid methyl ester (methyl helicterate), 3β-acetoxy-27-benzoyloxylup-20(29)-en-28-oic acid, and 3β-acetoxy-27-(p-hydroxyl) benzoyloxylup-20(29)-en-28-oic acid methyl ester. The present HPLC system used an Inertsil ODS-2 column by gradient elution with acetonitrile and water as the mobile phase and detected at UV 230 nm. Regression equations revealed good linear relationships (correlation coefficients: 0.9922–0.9997). The relative standard deviations of these three constituents ranged between 1.05–3.14% (intraday) and 2.12–4.38% (interday). The contents of these three constituents of the heartwood and the bark of the roots of H. angustifolia in five different samples have also been determined. 相似文献

Context The root of Helicteres angustifolia L. (Sterculiaceae) has been used as folk herbal drug to treat cancer, bacterial infections, inflammatory, and flu in China. However, there is no report on its antidiabetic activity.Objective This study evaluates the antidiabetic activity of ethanol extract from H. angustifolia root.Materials and methods The promoting effect of H. angustifolia root ethanol extract (25, 50, and 100 μg/mL) on glucose uptake was evaluated using HepG2 cell, differentiated C2C12 myotubes, and differentiated 3T3-L1 adipocytes. The antidiabetic activity of the extract was assessed in vivo using STZ-induced diabetic rats by orally administration of the extract (200 and 400?mg/kg b.w.) once per day for 28 d. Blood glucose, TG, TC, TP, HDL-C, UA, BUN, AST, ALT, insulin, and HOMA-IR were analyzed.Results The results showed that the extract increased glucose uptake in C2C12 myotubes and 3T3-L1 adipocytes with an IC50 value of 79.95 and 135.96 μg/mL, respectively. And about 12%, 19%, and 10% (p < 0.05) in HepG2 cells when compared with the control at the concentration of 25, 50, and 100 μg/mL, respectively. After 28 days’ treatment with the extract, significant reduction was observed in blood glucose, HOMA-IR, TC, TG, UA, BUN, AST, and ALT levels, while the levels of TP and HDL cholesterol increased.Discussion and conclusion These results suggest that H. angustifolia root ethanol extract possess potent antidiabetic activity, which is the first report on antidiabetic activity of this plant. 相似文献

instrumental methods of analysis proved the presence of polysaccharides, flavonoids, coumarins, phenolcarboxylic acids, amino
acids, saponins, carotenoids, vitamins, and tannins. The quantitative content of the biologically active compounds has been
estimated. It is shown that the fruits of Elaeagnus angustifolia occurring in Russia are a promising source of compounds presenting considerable interest for the pharmacy and food industry.
