Indocyanine green iris angiography of lung carcinoma metastatic to the iris   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
· Background: To investigate the usefulness of indocyanine green (ICG) iris angiography for monitoring vascular abnormalities and the clinical course of metastatic iris tumor during chemotherapy. · Methods: We performed ICG iris angiography at several points during systemic chemotherapy for a 67-year-old man who had been diagnosed as having small-cell carcinoma of the lung with metastatic iris tumors. · Results: ICG iris angiography clearly demonstrated hyperfluorescent tumor vessels, rubeosis iridis, and dilated iris stromal vessels. After chemotherapy, these hyperfluorescent vessels and rubeosis regressed. · Conclusion: ICG iris angiography appears to be an effective and useful method for observing abnormal vessels associated with metastatic iris tumors. Epidermoid cyst of the iris is a primary cysts of the iris, and more precisely a congenital cyst of the iris stroma. The embryological origin of these tumours is controversial owing to the clinical and histological aspects. Because the possibility of complications, excision is often necessary and permits accurate histologic diagnosis.  相似文献

Clinicopathologic case report of a boy aged 17 with a ring melanoma of the iris with endothelial overgrowth and glaucoma, with reference to the first case of the iridocorneal endothelial syndrome reported from the same laboratory by Rochat & Mulder in 1924. When a melanoma spreads around the globe within the ciliary body, or around the angle of the anterior chamber, or diffusely over the surface of the iris, it is called a ring melanoma (5).  相似文献

Iris prolapse has become an unusual and generally benign event in routine cataract surgery using endocapsular phacoemulsification techniques. We operated on the second eye of a patient with hyperopia whose first eye surgery in our care had been uneventful. In the second eye, as soon as the phaco incision was made and hydrodissection begun through the primary incision, the iris repeatedly prolapsed through the incision. This was managed definitively by applying iris hooks, 1 at each side of the primary incision, to the pupillary border so the prolapsing iris was held peripherally in the anterior chamber and under modest tension.  相似文献
