目的:了解杭州市10岁以下儿童血铅水平及高血铅检出率。方法:用原子吸收光谱分析法对3 528例儿童进行血铅含量测定,比较不同性别和年龄组之间的差异。结果:3 528例儿童血铅平均值为24.91μg/L,其中>100μg/L有37例,占1.04%;不同性别儿童间血铅水平几何均值差异有统讲学意义,而高血铅检出率差异无统计学意义;不同年龄儿童的血铅水平几何均值差异无统计学意义,高血铅检出率有统计学差异。结论:杭州市儿童血铅水平较低,但铅中毒情况依然存在,应采取进一步措施减少儿童铅接触。  相似文献

Abstract: To investigate the distribution of blood lead levels in a sample of Victorian children, and to compare current levels with those from a similar survey in 1979, blood was tested for lead in 252 children (123 under five years) attending Royal Children's Hospital as outpatients and having venepuncture blood samples for medical reasons. Blood lead levels were determined by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrophotometer. The mean blood lead level was 0.26 μmol/L (5.4 μg/dL). In the under-five age group, the mean was 0.28 μmol/L (5.7 μg/dL). Only 1.6 per cent of this group exceeded the National Health and Medical Research Council action level of 0.72 μmol/L (15 μg/dL). Levels in this age group have declined significantly since 1979, when the mean was 0.54 μmol/L (11.1 μg/dL) and 12.9 per cent exceeded 0.72 μmol/L (15 μg/dL). Average blood lead levels have halved since 1979, with likely contributing factors being reduced exposure from lead in diet, reduced access to lead in paint and reduced lead in ambient air. Children with elevated levels had identifiable risk factors such as pica or exposure to lead-based paint, suggesting the need for ongoing public health action to prevent exposure in these groups.  相似文献

A prevalence study of cadmium absorption was carried out among 396 children aged 1 to 9 years living at less than 900 m from a primary lead smelter in Santo Amaro City, northeast Brazil. Geometric mean and geometric standard deviation of cadmium concentrations in blood (CdB) were 0.087 and 2.5 mumole/liter, respectively, ranging from 0.004 to 0.511 units. Ninety-six per cent of these children presented CdB higher than 0.0089 mumole/liter (or 1.0 microgram/liter) which is usually taken as a reference level. Higher CdB levels were significantly associated with shorter distance from child's home to smelter chimney, residence time in the area greater than 7 months, racial groups Light and Medium, and heavy infection by hookworm. The variation in CdB levels was not associated with child's age, nutritional status, iron status, family per capita income, blood lead level, being a child of a lead worker, the habit of pica, and contamination of child's peridomiciliar environment by smelter dross.  相似文献

目的探讨胶南市儿童血铅水平及其影响因素。方法使用原子吸收分光谱仪(北京博辉)测定末梢血全血铅含量。结果0~6岁儿童血铅水平平均浓度为43.3μg/L,其中≥100μg/L的占8.58%。不同性别间儿童血铅水平均值和铅中毒率差别有显著性,不同年龄组的儿童血铅水平均值随年龄的增长逐步上升。结论为降低儿童铅水平,应增加锌、铁供给,培养良好的卫生习惯和良好的饮食习惯,不吃含铅量高的食品,避免去铅污染严重的地方。  相似文献

目的:了解丰台区目前学龄前儿童血铅水平,为制定积极有效的干预措施提供科学依据。方法:采取整群分层随机抽样的方法,选择北京市丰台区6所城区幼儿园和6所农村幼儿园在园2~6岁儿童2 141名,采用阳极溶出分析法测定血铅水平。结果:丰台区学龄前儿童血铅水平均数为73.90μg/L,其中铅中毒发生率为10.46%;儿童血铅水平存在显著的性别差异,男童铅中毒发生率高于女童,且具有统计意义;血铅水平以2岁组儿童血铅水平最高;儿童血铅水平无显著的地域差异,城市儿童血铅水平和血铅≥100μg/L的发生率与农村儿童无差别(P>0.05)。结论:目前丰台区儿童铅中毒绝大多数处于轻中度铅中毒水平,应采取积极、多样的健康宣教等干预措施防治儿童铅中毒。  相似文献

Ninety‐seven blood samples of occupationally and non‐occupationally exposed Nigerians were analysed by trichloro acetic acid precipitation (TCA) method. The values of lead in the samples range from ≤ 10.5–55.0 μg/100 ml. The mean blood levels for the occupationally exposed group vary between 28.5 ± 17.3 (SD), μg/100 ml, and 35.5 ± 15 (SD), μg/100 ml. The mean values for the non‐occupationally exposed group range from ≤ 10.5–16.3 ± 8.8 (SD) μg/100 ml. Blood lead levels are low in non‐occupationally exposed group and values are generally lower than the quoted threshold values. The lead levels are higher in blood of exposed group and most of the values exceed the quoted threshold values although lower than critical lead value that could cause poisoning. The mean blood levels in painters, drivers and motor mechanics are 30.4 ug/100 ml, 37–39 μg/100 ml and 36.7 μ.g/100 ml, respectively. The lead levels obtained in this study are consistent with low industrialization in Nigeria and with the small car population in relation with vast size of the country.  相似文献

The Evaluation of the US Department of Housing and Urban Development Lead-Based Paint Hazard Control Grant Program studied the effectiveness of the housing intervention performed in reducing the blood lead of children at four post-intervention times (6-months, 1-year, 2-years, and 3-years). A repeat measures analysis showed that blood lead levels declined up to three-years post-intervention. The results at each successive collection time were significantly lower than at the previous post-intervention time except for the difference between the levels at two and three years. At two-years post-intervention, geometric mean blood lead levels were approximately 37% lower than at pre-intervention. Children with pre-intervention blood lead levels as low as 10 μg/dL experienced substantial declines in blood lead levels. Previous studies have found substantial improvements only if a child's pre-intervention blood lead level was above 20 μg/dL. Individual interior lead hazard control treatments as grouped by Interior Strategy were not a significant predictor of post-intervention blood lead levels. However, children living in dwellings where exterior lead hazard control interventions were done had lower blood lead levels at one-year post-intervention than those living in dwellings without the exterior interventions (all other factors being equal), but those differences were only significant when the mean exterior paint lead loading at pre-intervention was about the 90th percentile (7.0 mg/cm2). This observation suggests that exterior lead hazard control can be an important component of a lead hazard control plan. Children who were six to eleven months of age at pre-intervention had a significant increase in blood lead at one-year post-intervention, probably due to other exposures.  相似文献

目的 调查本地区儿童铅暴露现状及影响因素, 为制定干预对策提供依据。方法 采用钨舟原子吸收光谱法对青岛市城区1 285名7岁以下儿童检测末梢血铅值, 并对家庭环境、饮食生活习惯等相关因素进行问卷调查。结果 1 285名城区0~7岁儿童血铅值为48.79 μg/L, 高铅血症检出率为1.03%, 3~7岁学龄前儿童血铅水平高于0~3岁散居儿童, 差异有高度统计学意义(P<0.01)。母亲从事高危职业, 住所邻近交通主干道及儿童厌食是发生高铅血症的危险因素。结论 青岛市城区0~7岁儿童血铅水平较前有所下降。母亲职业接触、家庭居住环境以及儿童饮食不良与高铅血症发生相关。需加强相关健康教育, 定期监测儿童血铅水平, 合理干预, 减少铅对儿童健康的危害。  相似文献

Despite the widespread use of lead paint hazard control for children with lead poisoning, few controlled studies that estimate the effect of such control on children's blood lead levels have been published. This retrospective follow-up study examined the effects of lead hazard remediation and its timing on the blood lead levels of lead-poisoned children. From the New York City child blood lead registry, 221 children were selected who had an initial blood lead level of 20-44 micro g/dL between 1 July 1994 and 31 December 1996; were 6 months to 6 years of age; had a report of a follow-up blood lead test between 10 and 14 months after the initial test; had a lead-based paint hazard identified in the primary dwelling unit prior to the 10- to 14-month follow-up blood lead test; had resided or spent time at only one address with an identified lead-based paint hazard; and were not chelated. The decline in geometric mean blood lead levels from baseline to 10-14 months later was compared for children whose homes were remediated and whose homes were not remediated during the follow-up period. Regardless of remediation, geometric mean blood lead levels declined significantly from 24.3 micro g/dL at the initial diagnosis to 12.3 micro g/dL at the 10- to 14-month follow-up blood lead test (P<0.01). Among the 146 children whose homes were remediated the geometric mean blood lead levels declined 53% compared to 41% among the 75 children whose homes were not remediated by the follow-up blood lead test, a remediation effect of approximately 20% (P<0.01). After adjusting for potential confounders, the remediation effect was 11%, although it was no longer significant. Race was the only factor that appeared to confound the relationship: Black children had higher follow-up blood lead levels even after controlling for other factors, including the natural logarithm of the initial blood lead level. The effect of remediation appeared to be stronger for younger (10 to <36 months old) than for older (36 to 72 months old) children (P=0.06). While children in homes with earlier remediation (within less than 3 months) appeared to have greater declines in blood lead levels at the follow-up test than children in homes with later remediation (after 3 or more months), this trend was not significant when controlling for confounding factors. The findings of this study suggest that early identification of lead-poisoned children and timely investigation and abatement of hazards contribute to reducing blood lead levels. However, the apparent effect is modest and further research is needed to systematically test and improve the effectiveness of lead hazard controls.  相似文献

目的:了解珠江三角洲中心地区儿童铅暴露水平及相关因素。方法:对1 866例1-3岁入托体检儿童进行静脉血铅、锌、钙、铁、铜、锰测定,并做铅暴露危险因素问卷调查。结果:儿童血铅水平均数为116.72 μg/L,≥100 μg/L者占48.77%,年龄、喜饮罐装饮料、母亲职业、居住的楼龄及楼层、居住环境是儿童铅暴露的危险因素,血锌是保护因素。结论:环境铅污染是儿童铅暴露的主要来源,环境污染对儿童已构成严重的威胁,应引起社会的关注。  相似文献

[目的]调查广州市0~14岁儿童血铅水平,为防治儿童铅中毒提供科学依据。[方法]收集2010年1月至2011年6月在广东省中医院就诊的0~14岁儿童1517名血铅资料,按照年龄划分为3组:〈3岁、3~7岁及〉7岁儿童组。采用原子吸收光谱法测定血铅含量。[结果]0~14岁儿童血铅均值为57.05μg/L;血铅≥100μg/L者39例,占调查人数的2.57%。不同年龄组间儿童血铅水平差异有统计学意义(P〈0.05);3~14岁年龄段男童血铅水平明显高于女童(P〈0.05)。[结论]本次调查儿童血铅水平及铅中毒率较低。但铅对儿童健康的潜在风险不能忽视,应加强儿童铅中毒防治健康教育。  相似文献

目的:了解天津市0~15岁儿童血铅水平。方法:采用严格质量控制的流行病学研究方法,于2000年7月~2003年7月对天津市8836例0~15岁儿童进行血铅水平测定。结果:8836名儿童血铅均值为83·86μg/L。其中血铅≥100μg/L者2097例,占23·73%,男童高于女童,有显著性差异(P<0·001)。结论:铅中毒已经对儿童健康造成了潜在的危害,所以要采取措施,查找铅污染源,预防铅中毒。  相似文献

Blood lead levels in some pre-schoolchildren living near a lead works and particularly in some children with fathers employed at the lead works showed evidence of increased exposure. Forty-seven of them took part three years later in a follow-up study of their developmental and behavioural functions. The children were aged between 4 and 5 1/2 years and were closely matched for age, sex, social class, parental education, area, and length of residence. Only three children had moved house since their blood lead levels had been examined at two years of age; these levels ranged between 18 and 64 microgram/100 ml. None of the children had clinical symptoms of plumbism. No statistically significant (P less than or equal to 0.05) differences were found on developmental and behavioural scores when the children were divided into two groups of less than or equal to 35 microgram/100 ml (n = 23) and greater than 35 microgram/100 ml (n = 24). The differences in scores were of the same order as those between boys and girls, which were themselves generally not significant. Behaviour ratings did not differ. The variations in developmental skills were generally found to be more related to age and schooling; neither these factors nor the difference in sex was related to blood lead levels.  相似文献

An epidemiological survey was conducted in August 1991 to evaluate the impact of a public health program. The objective of the program was to decrease the level of exposure to lead of children who lived within 200 m of a lead-reclamation plant. In 1989, these children had a geometric mean blood lead level of 9.2 μg/dl (0.44 μmol/l). Children who were 6 mo to 10 y of age (N = 101) participated in the survey. Demographic and behavioral characteristics of the children and their parents were ascertained by interviewers. Blood samples were taken by venipuncture. Geometric mean blood lead levels were calculated by age in 1991 and by residence in 1989. In 1991, the geometric mean blood lead level had decreased to 5.0 μg/dl (0.24 μmol/l) in children. There was no difference in mean blood lead levels with respect to age or residence. From 1989 to 1991, a significant decrease in the proportion of children who engaged in hand-to-mouth activities was also observed. The lead-poisoning prevention program reached its main objective stated above. The success of this program was attributed to the coordinated actions of public agencies at both the provincial and local levels.  相似文献

目的 描述中国农村儿童血铅总体水平及分布特征,为改善农村铅污染状况提供依据.方法 通过计算机检索中国期刊全文数据库及相关文献追溯等途径,依照严格的入选标准收集并筛选国内1994-2008年10月公开发表的关于农村儿童血铅水平研究的文献进行分析.结果 我国农村儿童血铅均值为74.93μg/L(范围:41.14~193.54μg/L),铅中毒率为19.32%(范围:2.2%~43%).禁止含铅汽油使用后儿童血铅从87.53μg/L降至71.16μg/L(u=7.13,P<0.01),禁止含铅汽油使用前后农村儿童血铅水平均低于同时期全国儿童血铅水平.调整无铅汽油使用的影响后,北京、山东农村儿童血铅均值较高.分别为99.16和92.13μg/L;吉林、河北较低,分别为41.14和56.14μg/L;18篇文献的综合分析显示,农村儿童和城市儿童的血铅均值分别为77.90和87.24 μg/L(u=3.73,P<0.01);8篇文献的综合分析显示,农村儿童和工业区儿童血铅均值分别为70.25和80.86μg/L(u=10.00.P<0.01).结论 农村地区儿童血铅水平低于全国总体水平,低于城市和工业区儿童血铅水平,推广无铅汽油后农村儿童血铅水平有了明显改善.
Abstract:
Objective To evaluate Chinese rural children's blood lead levels (BLLs) and identify its distribution features and to provide data for policy development to the prevention of rural environmental lead pollution. Methods The papers on rural children's BLLs published from 1994 to Oct. 2008 were collected by using CNKI's (China National Knowledge Infrastructure) Chinese Journal Full-test Database and other ways. The papers which were eligible for the following criteria were reviewed:(l) BLLs measured by atomic absorption spectroscopy (graphite or others) or inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry; (2) strict quality control; (3) no local lead pollution sources in the areas where the screened subjects live in; (4) children aged from 0 to 14 years old; (5)sample size more than 40. Results Analysis on the included 32 papers indicated that, the mean BLLs of Chinese rural children between 1994 and 2008 was 74.93μg/L (range:41.14-193.54 μg/L)and 19.32%(range:2.2%-43%) of the subjects had BLLs higher than 100 μg/L. The rural children's BLLs changed from 87.53 μg/Lto 71.16 μg/L after the use of lead free gasoline in 2000 in China, which were both lower than the general children's BBLs before 2000 and after 2001. The children in Beijing city and Shandong province showed the highest mean BLLs , with 99.16 μg/L and 92.13 μg/L respectively; while the children in Jilin province and Hebei province showed the lowest levels, with 41.14 μg/L and 56.14 μg/L respectively. The comprehensive analysis of 18 papers indicated that the mean BLLs in rural areas and urban areas were 77.90 μg/L and 87.24μg/L respectively (u=3.73, P<0.01 ). The comprehensive analysis of 8 papers indicated that the mean BLLs in rural areas and industrial areas were 70.25 μg/Land 80.86 μg/L respectively(u=10.00,P<0.01). Conclusion The BLLs of rural children in China are lower than the general levels of children in China, and also lower than urban areas and industrial areas. Promoting lead free gasoline can make a considerable decrease in the blood lead levels of rural children.  相似文献

Blood lead level (Pb-B), erythrocyte δ-aminolevulinic acid dehydratase (ALA-D), zinc protoporphyrin (ZnPP), and free-erythrocyte porphyrin (FEP) were compared for groups of children of the nursery and primary school living near a lead smelter and in a village 4 km from the factory. A definite increase of Pb-B levels was found in the children living near the lead smelter, who proved to have average values about twice those of the control groups: 17.3 ± 6.9 μg/100 ml for the nursery school and 16.9 ± 5.5 μg/100 ml for the primary school children against 8.7 ± 2.8 and 7.6 ± 2.9 μg/100 ml for the respective controls. A significant decrease of ALA-D activity and an increase of FEP values were demonstrated among the children exposed. For FEP a graded response was evidenced at Pb-B levels ranging between 10 and 20 μg/100 ml blood so that the no-response level in children seems to be lower than 10 μg/100 ml of Pb-B.  相似文献

目的:了解丽水市区3~6岁儿童的血铅水平,并探讨儿童血铅水平对身高体重的影响。方法:于2005年4~6月对丽水市区2369名3~6岁儿童进行了血铅测定,同时进行身高、体重测量。结果:丽水市区3~6岁儿童铅中毒(血铅值≥100μg/L)检出率为13.55%,血铅水平为(64.0±38.3)μg/L;5岁年龄组儿童血铅均值(66.15±38.69)μg/L、铅中毒检出率17.41%,分别高于其他年龄组,均有显著性差异(P<0.05)。男女儿童血铅水平和铅中毒检出率均无显著差异,儿童血铅水平与身高体重无显著性相关。结论:3~6岁儿童血铅水平与身高体重无统计学意义,但儿童铅污染影响儿童身心健康,应对重点人群采取行之有效的措施,引起高度重视。  相似文献

We retrospectively reviewed 3 679 pediatric records from King/Drew Medical Center, south central Los Angeles, between 1991 and 1994. Blood lead levels of children were followed to age 18 y. Patients were not referred specifically for lead poisoning. The sample was primarily Latino. Geometric mean blood lead peaked at 6.7 μg/dl (0.32 μmol/l) between 2 and 3 y of age. There was a downward secular trend and a seasonal trend. Males had higher lead levels than females. Children who lived in several zipcode areas, in which the lowest family incomes were reported, had higher lead levels. More Latino children had higher lead levels than African American children. Latino children (i.e., 20.2%) who were 1–5 y of age had blood lead levels that were ≤ 10 μg/dl. Young Latino children in this zone of Los Angeles may be at increased risk for lead exposure.  相似文献

The objectives of this study were to determine blood lead levels in 2-y-old children in the Greater Bilbao Area (Basque Country, Spain) and to compare those levels with the lead content of different media (i.e., house dust, park dust and soil, and water) in the child's environment. Between May and September of 1992, 138 children, aged 2 to 3 y, were studied. All children were attended by pediatricians within the public health-care network, and their parents volunteered for the study. A venous blood sample was drawn from each child and was analyzed for lead level, and the parents answered a questionnaire that addressed the socioeconomic background and habits of the children. The environment was investigated in 42 cases. Blood lead levels exceeded 15 μg/dl in 2% of the children, and 14% of the children had levels that exceeded 10 μg/dl (geometric mean = 5.7 μg/dl [4.7–6.7 μg/dl]). Blood lead levels were higher among (a) children whose mothers worked outside the home, (b) children whose fathers had only a primary-level education, and (c) children who lived in houses constructed prior to 1950. The geometrical averages of lead in house dust, park soil, and park dust were 595, 299, and 136 μg/g, respectively. Statistically significant linear correlation was found between blood lead level and lead content in park dust, a finding that explained a 9% variation in blood lead level; a subgroup of these children was also found to have a strong linear association between blood lead and lead content in house dust.  相似文献
