In recent years I am interested in the role of nucleus raphe magnus (NRM) in acupuncture analgesia, NRM is the one of important descending inhibitory systems included in the intrinsic analgesic systems in brain, and we gave more systematic study on the question. The primary results are as follows: 1. Experiments were performed on male rats, unit discharges of NRM were recorded extracellularly with glass electrode. The neurons respond to noxious stimulation were chosen to observe analgesia of EA. The spontaneous firing rates of NRM neurons were about 0.5-20 Hz, a few of them over 20Hz or have no any discharges. NRM neurons have not often responses to nonnoxious stimulation (to brush hair) or only have a light responses and adaptation appeared fast. But responses of them to noxious stimulation (to clamp or to prick skin) or electro-stimulation (over 6V) were obviously displayed with excitatory (increasing firing rates) or inhibitory (decreasing) types. The spontaneous firing rates of excitatory NRM neurons were lower than that of inhibitory neurons. In addition, a few excitatory-inhibitory reversible type NRM neurons were found unexpected, and the reversal of response were related to background firing rates. During low firing rates, the response was an excitatory one, and during high firing rates, it became an inhibitory one. 2. EA of 'Zusanli' could activate NRM neurons, increasing spontaneous firing rates, and inhibit their nociceptive responses. The effect induced by EA could be reversed by naloxone (I.P.). 3. Raphe-spinal neurons in NRM were identified by antidromic activation and collision technology, their axons project to dorsal horn of spinal cord via dorsal lateral fasciculus (DLF), that seem to be centrifugal units.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)  相似文献

纳洛酮对头针治疗大鼠实验性心律失常效应的影响   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
目的:研究头针治疗大鼠实验性心律失常效应的中枢作用机制.方法:在氯化钡诱发实验性心律失常模型上,在中脑导水管周围灰质(PAG)内注射阿片受体拮抗剂纳洛酮(naloxone,NX),头针电刺激大鼠头部双侧"额旁1线"区域,记录各组大鼠心电图.结果:PAG内注射NX对氯化钡诱发实验性心律失常大鼠心律及心率的变化无明显的影响,头针使实验性心律失常持续时间缩短,能有效调整异常心率(P<0.01),其效应可以被PAG内注射NX完全翻转(P<0.01).结论:头针电刺激治疗大鼠实验性心律失常的作用与PAG内的阿片受体介导有密切关系.  相似文献

The dynamic changes of the pain thresholds (Heat-Withdrawal Latency, HWL and Stimulation-Vocalization Threshold, Voc) in the adjuvant-induced arthritic rats and the effects of EA on the pain thresholds, skin temperature and the circumference of the diseased ankle were observed. Both pain thresholds were obviously decreased in affected limbs in EA and control groups. But in the normal limbs, HWL decreased and Voc, no changed. In EA group, the ankle circumference and skin temperature were markedly lower than that in control group. The increase of the body weight was much more obvious than that in control group. Our experiment revealed that EA could not only increase the pain threshold, but also improve the pathological changes in the inflammation of the ankle, the mechanisms of the changes of the pain thresholds and the effects of EA in the arthritic rats were discussed.  相似文献

The article reviews the main results of recent years study on the relationship between neurons in nucleus raphe magnus (NRM) and moving reflex evoked by noxious stimulation, including: 1. Relative phasic discharge frequency change of on-cell and off-cell in NRM occurred when tail-flick reflex (TF) evoked by noxious stimulation. The relative phasic activity of on-cell and off-cell in NRM was decreased or lost when TF was inhibited by brain stimulation and morphine analgesia. The data suggested that on-cell and off-cell in NRM participated in descending inhibition on spinal cord. 2. The initial EPSPS on neurons of NRM always occurs after the initial digastric EMG elicited by tooth pulp shock. 3. There is a positive feedback loop of reciprocal excitation between descending pathway from NRM and ventral horn neurons projecting to NRM of spinal cord. It was suggested that motor neuron pool in spinal cord possible involved in the mechanism of descending inhibition from the NRM.  相似文献

The present study was to evaluate the effect of melatonin (MT) and EA on the cytotoxic activity of natural killer (NK) cells, the dynamic changes of the induction of interleukin-2(IL-2) and the content of POMC-derived peptides, beta-endorphins (betaE) and ACTH in spleen lymphocytes and in plasma of traumatic rats. The results showed that intraperitioneal (i.p.) injection of MT was able to recover the lower levels of NK cell activity and the induction of IL-2 production; MT could also decrease the higher betaE and ACTH levels induced by trauma in spleen lymphocytes and plasma. EA needling of Zusanli (St.36) and Lanwei (Extra.37) points obviously improved the immunosuppression produced by trauma and antagonized the elevation of betaE and ACTH contents induced by trauma stress in spleen lymphocytes and plasma. MT + EA could further modulate the depressed immune function, and there was a significant difference compared with MT (i.p.) or EA alone. MT + EA group further decreased the betaE and ACTH contents in immune cells and plasma. Yet, the mechanisms of the attenuation of MT and EA on immunosuppression induced by trauma need further study.  相似文献

目的:观察电针同神经节段支配的不同经穴与非穴对实验性类痛经模型大鼠中枢痛觉调制系统内阿片肽类物质的影响,探讨经穴效应的特异性。方法:动情间期雌性SD大鼠80只,随机分为盐水组、模型组、三阴交组、悬钟组、非穴组,每组16只。除盐水组外,其余各组大鼠注射苯甲酸雌二醇及缩宫素制备类痛经模型。电针治疗20min,观察大鼠的扭体反应,并应用免疫组化法和酶联免疫吸附法分别检测大鼠相应节段脊髓背角浅层κ-受体的表达和中脑导水管周围灰质(PAG)内脑啡肽(ENK)、β-内啡肽(β-EP)的含量。结果:与盐水组相比,模型组扭体潜伏期明显缩短(P<0.01),扭体次数和评分明显增加(P<0.01)。与模型组相比,各电针组扭体评分和次数均明显减少(P<0.01),三阴交组扭体潜伏期明显延长(P<0.05);三阴交组各节段脊髓背角浅层κ-受体表达均明显增加(P<0.01),悬钟和非穴组仅分别在S1节段(P<0.05)和L6节段(P<0.01)表达明显增加;三阴交和悬钟组PAG内ENK(P<0.01,P<0.05)和β-EP(P<0.01)含量明显升高。各电针组之间相比,三阴交组L1、L2、L6节段κ-受体表达与悬钟组相比明显升高(P<0.01),三阴交组各节段κ-受体表达与非穴组相比均明显升高(P<0.01,P<0.05);三阴交组的β-EP含量与悬钟组相比明显升高(P<0.01),三阴交组的ENK和β-EP含量与非穴组相比均明显升高(P<0.01),悬钟组的β-EP含量与非穴组相比明显升高(P<0.05)。结论:电针同神经节段支配的穴位与非穴位均可缓解大鼠的类痛经反应,并可通过调节中枢痛觉调制系统内的阿片肽类物质而达到镇痛作用。但穴位不同,其调节程度不同,说明经穴效应具有相对特异性,这种特异性不仅与神经节段有关,而且与其所属经络有关。  相似文献
