A prospective cohort study was used to quantify risk factors for sports concussions. Analysis was based on a stratified cluster sample of North Carolina high school athletes followed during 1996-1999. Clustering was by school and sport, and the sample included 15,802 athletes with 1-8 seasons of follow-up per athlete. Concussion rates were estimated for 12 sports, and risk factors were quantified using generalized Poisson regression. Concussion rates ranged from 9.36 (95% confidence interval: 1.93, 16.80) per 100,000 athlete-exposures in cheerleading to 33.09 (95% confidence interval: 24.74, 41.44) per 100,000 athlete-exposures in football, where "athlete-exposure" is one athlete participating in one practice or game. The overall rate of concussion was 17.15 (95% confidence interval: 13.30, 21.00) per 100,000 athlete-exposures. Cheerleading was the only sport for which the practice rate was greater than the game rate. Almost two thirds of cheerleading concussions involved two-level pyramids. Concussion rates were elevated for athletes with a history of concussion, and they increased with the increasing level of body contact permitted in the sport. After adjustment for sport, body mass index, and year in school, history of concussion(s) remained a moderately strong risk factor for concussion (rate ratio = 2.28, 95% confidence interval: 1.24, 4.19). The fact that concussion history is an important predictor of concussion incidence, even in this young population, underscores the importance of primary prevention efforts, timely identification, and careful clinical management of these injuries.  相似文献

Use of protective equipment is an important sports injury prevention strategy, yet use of protective equipment by high school athletes has seldom been studied. The authors analyzed data from a 3-year (1996-1999), stratified, two-stage cluster sample of athletes from 12 organized sports in 100 North Carolina high schools (n = 19,728 athlete-seasons). Information on each athlete's use of protective equipment and prior injury was collected during the preseason. Prospective information on injuries and weekly participation in games and practices was collected during the playing season. Use of lower extremity discretionary protective equipment tended to decrease the overall rate of lower extremity injury (rate ratio (RR) = 0.91, 95% confidence interval (CI): 0.72, 1.15). However, this slight protective effect was entirely due to kneepad use (for knee injury, RR = 0.44, 95% CI: 0.27, 0.74). Knee brace use and ankle brace use were associated with increased rates of knee injury (RR = 1.61, 95% CI: 1.08, 2.41) and ankle injury (RR = 1.74, 95% CI: 1.11, 2.72), respectively. This could be due to slippage of the brace during use, increased fatigue due to the energy cost of wearing a brace, or bias in the study. Further investigation into the effects of brace use is warranted.  相似文献

PurposeSchool-based athletic programs remain an important context for violence prevention efforts although a better understanding of how gender attitudes and abuse perpetration differ among athletes is needed.MethodsWe analyzed baseline survey data from the “Coaching Boys into Men” study—a school-based cluster-randomized trial in 16 high schools in Northern California. We describe relationships among gender-inequitable attitudes, sport type, and recent adolescent relationship abuse perpetration among a sample of male athletes (n = 1,648).ResultsGender-inequitable attitudes (adjusted odds ratio (AOR), 3.26; 95% confidence interval (CI), 2.56, 4.15), participation in both high school football and basketball (AOR, 2.08; 95% CI, 1.37, 3.18), and participation in football only (AOR, 1.50; 95% CI, 1.02, 2.22) emerged as independently associated with recent ARA perpetration.ConclusionsFindings warrant targeted violence prevention efforts among male high school athletes that incorporate discussions of gender attitudes and healthy relationships, especially among sports teams at greater risk of adolescent relationship abuse perpetration.  相似文献

Participation in high school sports helps promote a physically active lifestyle. High school sports participation has grown from an estimated 4 million participants during the 1971-72 school year to an estimated 7.2 million in 2005-06. However, despite the documented health benefits of increased physical activity (e.g., weight management, improved self-esteem, and increased strength, endurance, and flexibility), those who participate in athletics are at risk for sports-related injuries. High school athletes account for an estimated 2 million injuries, 500,000 doctor visits, and 30,000 hospitalizations annually. To date, the study of these injuries has been limited by inabilities to calculate injury rates, compare results among groups, and generalize findings from small, nonrepresentative samples. During the 2005-06 school year, researchers at a children's hospital in Ohio used an Internet-based data-collection tool to pilot an injury surveillance system among athletes from a representative national sample of U.S. high schools. This report summarizes the findings of that study, which indicated that participation in high school sports resulted in an estimated 1.4 million injuries at a rate of 2.4 injuries per 1,000 athlete exposures (i.e., practices or competitions). Surveillance of exposure-based injury rates in a nationally representative sample of high school athletes and analysis of injury patterns can help guide activities aimed at reducing these injuries.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to explore whether there is a relationship between cataract and Alzheimer’s disease in older people in Taiwan. We conducted a retrospective cohort study by using the database of the Taiwan National Health Insurance Program from 1999 to 2004. There were 19,954 subjects aged 65–84 with newly diagnosed cataract as the cataract group and 19,954 randomly selected subjects without cataract as the non-cataract group. Both groups were matched with sex, age and index year of diagnosing cataract. The risk of Alzheimer’s disease associated with cataract was assessed. The overall incidence of Alzheimer’s disease was 1.21 per 1,000 person-years in the cataract group and 0.73 per 1,000 person-years in the non-cataract group (crude hazard ratio 1.62, 95 % CI 1.28, 2.04). After adjustment for potential confounders, the adjusted HR of Alzheimer’s disease was 1.43 (95 % CI 1.13, 1.82) for the cataract group, compared to the non-cataract group. Male (HR 1.36, 95 % CI 1.09, 1.70), age (every 1 year, HR 1.08, 95 % CI 1.06, 1.10) and head injury (HR 1.79, 95 % CI 1.08, 2.96) were other factors significantly associated with Alzheimer’s disease. Older people with cataract are at 1.43-fold increased risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease. More research is necessary to determine whether cataract is one of non-memory features of Alzheimer’s disease.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: Contact sports have high rates of injury. Protective equipment regulations are widely used as an intervention to reduce injury risk. The purpose of this study was to investigate the injury prevention effect of regulations governing protective equipment in two full-body contact sports. METHODS: Injury rates in US collegiate football were compared to New Zealand club Rugby Union. Both sports involve significant body contact and have a high incidence of injury. Extensive body padding and hard-shell helmets are mandated in collegiate football but prohibited in Rugby Union. RESULTS: The injury rate in football was approximately one-third the rugby rate (rate ratio [RR] = 0.35; 95% CI: 0.31-0.40). The head was the body site with the greatest differential in injury incidence (RR = 0.11; 95% CI: 0.08-0.16). Rugby players suffered numerous lacerations, abrasions, and contusions to the head region, but the incidence of these injuries in football was almost zero (RR = 0.01; 95% CI: 0.01-0.03). Injury rates were more similar for the knee (RR = 0.61; 95% CI: 0.43-0.87) and ankle (RR = 0.72; 95% CI: 0.46-1.13), two joints largely unprotected in both sports. CONCLUSIONS: The observed differences are consistent with the hypothesis that regulations mandating protective equipment reduce the incidence of injury, although important potential biases in exposure assessment cannot be excluded. Further research is needed into head protection for rugby players.  相似文献

To determine the incidence of lower-extremity injury among high school cross-country runners and to identify risk factors for injury, the authors prospectively monitored a cohort of 421 runners competing on 23 cross-country teams in 12 Seattle, Washington, high schools during the 1996 cross-country season. Collected were daily injury and athletic exposure (AE) reports, a baseline questionnaire on prior running and injury experience, anthropometric measurements, and coaches' training logs. The overall incidence rate of injury was 17.0/1,000 AEs. Girls had a significantly higher overall injury rate (19.6/1,000 AEs) than boys did (15.0/1,000 AEs) (incidence rate ratio = 1.3, 95% confidence interval: 1.0, 1.6). Compared with boys, girls had significantly higher rates of injuries resulting in >or=15 days of disability. For the overall sample and for girls, Cox regression revealed that a quadriceps angle of >or=20 degrees and an injury during summer running prior to the season were the most important predictors of injury. For boys, a quadriceps angle of >or=15 degrees and a history of multiple running injuries were most associated with injury. Results suggest that the incidence of lower-extremity injuries is high for cross-country runners, especially girls. Preseason screening to determine risk factors should be examined as a preventive approach for identifying high-risk runners.  相似文献

OBJECTIVES: To describe the patterns of nosocomial infections in patients with traumatic injuries and to compare the associations between injury severity, derived from various severity scoring systems, and subsequent nosocomial infections. DESIGN: Prospective observational study. SETTNG: A 750-bed university hospital serving as a medical school and referral center for the southern part of Thailand. PARTICIPANTS: All trauma patients admitted to the hospital for more than 3 days during 1996 to 1999 were eligible for this study. METHODS: The severity of injuries was measured in terms of injury severity score (ISS), revised trauma score (RTS), new injury severity score (NISS), and trauma injury severity score (TRISS). Infections acquired during hospitalization were categorized using Centers for Disease Control and Prevention criteria. The association between severity of injury and nosocomial infection was examined with Poisson regression models. RESULTS: There were 222 nosocomial infections identified among 146 patients, yielding an infection rate of 0.8 infections per 100 patient-days. Surgical-site infection was the most common site-specific infection, accounting for 31.1% of all infections. The incidence of intravenous catheter-related bloodstream infection was 1.6 infections per 100 catheter-days. The bladder catheter-related urinary tract infection rate was 2.8 infections per 100 catheter-days. The rate of ventilator-associated pneumonia was 3.2 infections per 100 ventilator-days. The incidence of infection correlated well with injury severity. The infection incidence rate ratios for one severity category increment of ISS, NISS, RTS, and TRISS were 1.65 (95% confidence interval [CI95], 1.42 to 1.92), 1.79 (CI95, 1.55 to 2.05), 1.64 (CI95 1.43 to 1.88), and 1.32 (CI95, 1.14 to 1.52), respectively. CONCLUSIONS: Surgical-site infection was the most common site-specific nosocomial infection. The NISS might be the most appropriate severity scoring system for adjustment of infection rates in trauma patients.  相似文献

OBJECTIVE: The study was designed to evaluate the association between socioeconomic level (as measured by maternal education, maternal occupation, and monthly family income) and anencephaly. METHODS: The authors conducted a case-control study using data from the Epidemiological Surveillance System Register for Neural Tube Defects for three states of the Mexican Republic: Puebla, Guerrero and the State of Mexico. Mothers of 151 cases of infants born with anencephaly and mothers of 151 control infants born during the period March 2000 to February 2001 were interviewed about their socioeconomic characteristics and other factors including reproductive history, use of prenatal care, use of tobacco and alcohol, fever during pregnancy, and folic acid supplementation. RESULTS: After adjustment for potential confounders, a risk gradient was seen with decreasing maternal education. Women with less than a primary school education (adjusted odds ratio [OR]=3.0; 95% confidence interval [CI] 1.2, 7.6) and women who had completed primary school but had not completed junior high school (adjusted OR=2.2; 95% CI 0.9, 5.7) had higher risks of giving birth to an infant with anencephaly, compared to women with a higher educational level. A monthly income < or = 1,000 pesos (approximately dollars 100 U.S.) was also associated with a higher risk of anencephaly (OR=2.5; 95% CI 1.2, 5.1). Women employed in industry or agriculture during the acute risk period (three months prior to conception to one month after conception) had a risk 6.5 times (95% CI 1.4, 29.6) that of professional and business women. CONCLUSIONS: This study helps to identify groups that may be especially vulnerable to this type of congenital malformation so that primary and secondary preventive strategies can be targeted to these groups.  相似文献

Purpose: To estimate the strength of relationships between socioeconomic status and injury in a large Canadian farm population. Methods: We conducted a prospective cohort study of 4,769 people from 2,043 farms in Saskatchewan, Canada. Participants reported socioeconomic exposures in 2007 and were followed for the occurrence of injury through 2009 (27 months). The relative hazards of time to first injury according to baseline socioeconomic status were estimated via Cox proportional hazards models. Findings: Risks for injury were not consistent with inverse socioeconomic gradients (adjusted HR 1.07; 95% CI: 0.76 to 1.51 for high vs low economic worry; adjusted HR 1.72; 95% CI: 1.23 to 2.42 for completed university education vs less than high school). Strong increases in the relative hazard for time to first injury were identified for longer work hours on the farm. Conclusions: Socioeconomic factors have been cited as important risk factors for injury on farms. However, our findings suggest that interventions aimed at the prevention of farm injury are better focused on operational factors that increase risk, rather than economic factors per se.  相似文献

The purpose of this study is to investigate the association between maternal alcohol intake in pregnancy and the occurrence of early stillbirth using a retrospective cohort analysis of singleton births in Missouri that occurred in the period 1989 through 1997 (N=655,979). We used Cox proportional hazards regression to generate adjusted risk estimates for total, early, and late stillbirth associated with maternal alcohol intake and used the Robust Sandwich Estimator to adjust for intracluster correlations among sibships. Overall, a total of 3,508 counts of stillbirth were identified, yielding a stillbirth rate of 5.3 per 1,000. Among mothers who consumed alcohol during pregnancy, the stillbirth rate was 8.3 per 1,000. Mothers who consumed alcohol while pregnant were 40% more likely to experience stillbirth as compared with nondrinking mothers (adjusted hazards ratio=1.4, 95% confidence interval: 1.2-1.7). A dose-response relationship was evident; mothers who consumed five or more drinks per week during pregnancy experienced a 70% elevated risk of stillbirth compared with nondrinking mothers (adjusted hazards ratio=1.7; 95% confidence interval: 1.0-3.0). The risk of early stillbirth was 80% higher among drinking mothers compared with abstainers (adjusted hazards ratio=1.8; 95% confidence interval: 1.3-2.3). The elevated risks for both early and late stillbirth did not reach statistical significance when broken down by level of alcohol intake. In conclusion, maternal drinking during pregnancy is associated with an increased risk of early stillbirth. These findings underscore the need to reinforce current counseling strategies toward pregnant women and women who intend to conceive on the detrimental effects of alcohol use in pregnancy.  相似文献

This analysis presents differences in acute work injury rates among electric utility linemen who perform different work tasks. Incidence-density rate ratios were the primary measure of association and are based on the work injury and person-time data for each job title. Logistic regression was used to model race, age, job experience, total inservice, prior injury, and time from prior injury. Transmission linemen had the lower acute injury rate with 18.9 per 100 person-work-years (95% CI 16–20), distribution linemen had 27.8 per 100 person-work-years (95% CI 27–28), and apprentice linemen had 43.3 per 100 person-work-years (95% CI 41–45). Injuries to the trunk and sprains and strains are the predominant injury categories. Having a prior lost time injury increases the risk for subsequent lost time injury for transmission linemen (OR = 1.6, 95% CI = 1.0–2.7) and for distribution linemen (OR = 1.5, 95% CI = 1.3–1.6). Am. Despite a worse cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk profile, Hispanics have lower CVD mortality than non-Hispanic Whites in studies based on death certificates. This study examined 310 deaths that occurred between 1984 and 1998 among 1,862 Hispanic and non-Hispanic White participants in the San Luis Valley Diabetes Study, using medical records to classify cause of death. Among persons without diabetes, the age-adjusted all-cause mortality rate was 6.1/1,000 person-years in non-Hispanic Whites and 7.4/1,000 person-years in Hispanics. Among persons with diabetes, it was 24.3/1,000 person-years in non-Hispanic Whites and 21.9/1,000 person-years in Hispanics. Among nondiabetics, the age-adjusted CVD mortality rate was 2.5/1,000 person-years in non-Hispanic Whites and 1.6/1,000 person-years in Hispanics. Among diabetics, it was 12.9/1,000 person-years in non-Hispanic Whites and 8.8/1,000 person-years in Hispanics. Among nondiabetics, the adjusted hazard ratio for CVD death in Hispanics compared with non-Hispanic Whites was 0.65 (95% confidence interval (CI): 0.34, 1.23). The hazard ratio for coronary heart disease death was 0.95 (95% CI: 0.35, 2.59). Among diabetics, the hazard ratio for CVD death, after adjustment for conventional and diabetes risk factors, was 0.44 (95% CI: 0.26, 0.74), and for coronary heart disease death it was 0.43 (95% CI: 0.21, 0.91). A statistically significant decreased risk of CVD death was observed only in male Hispanics with diabetes. Competing mortality or factors that interact with diabetes may explain these differences.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to evaluate the incidence, nature, and risk factors of unintentional injuries among 12-, 14-, 16- and 18-year-old Finnish adolescents. Of the 8219 respondents (response rate 75%) 5.5% reported an injury that had required medical attention during the past month. The total number of injuries was 506 and the incidence of injuries 62 per 1000 person-months. Boys had a slightly higher injury occurrence rate than girls (OR: 1.33; 95% CI: 1.13-1.59). The most common injuries were sprains (27%), fractures (26%) and wounds (16%) of the upper and lower limbs. In multivariate logistic regression analysis the strongest risk factors of injury were: having experienced violence during past month (OR: 3.6; 95% CI: 2.8-4.6), daily leisure time exercise in sports club (OR: 3.3; 95% CI: 2.3-4.6), having several somatic health complaints weekly (OR: 2.2; 95% CI: 1.7-2.9) and having chronic disease (OR: 2.0; 95% CI: 1.5-2.6). In conclusion, injuries were an important cause of morbidity among our 12-18-year-old adolescents. Adolescents' school success and their parents' education, occupation and employment status were not associated with injuries. The finding that several health and health behaviour variables are important risk factors for injuries challenges the researchers and the society to identify and treat the risk factors that can be modified to reduce the number of adolescent injuries.  相似文献

This study used the Canadian version of the World Health Organization-Health Behaviour in School-Aged Children (WHO-HBSC) Survey to examine the role of multiple risk behaviours and other social factors in the etiology of medically attended youth injury. 11,329 Canadians aged 11-15 years completed the 1997-1998 WHO-HBSC, of which 4152 (36.7%) reported at least one medically attended injury. Multiple logistic regression analyses failed to identify an expected association between lower socio-economic status and risk for injury. Strong gradients in risk for injury were observed according to the numbers of multiple risk behaviours reported. Youth reporting the largest number (7) of risk behaviours experienced injury rates that were 4.11 times (95% CI: 3.04-5.55) higher than those reporting no high risk behaviours (adjusted odds ratios for 0-7 reported behaviours: 1.00, 1.13, 1.49, 1.79, 2.28, 2.54, 2.62, 4.11; p(trend) < 0.001). Similar gradients in risk were observed within subgroups of young people defined by grade, sex, and socio-economic level, and within restricted analyses of various injury types (recreational, sports, home, school injuries). The gradients were especially pronounced for severe injury types and among those reporting multiple injuries. The analyses suggest that multiple risk behaviours may play an important role in the social etiology of youth injury, but these same analyses provide little evidence for a socio-economic risk gradient. The findings in turn have implications for preventive interventions.  相似文献

The purpose of this study was to investigate the prevalence of self-reported restrictive eating, current or past eating disorder, and menstrual dysfunction and their relationships with injuries. Furthermore, we aimed to compare these prevalences and associations between younger (aged 15–24) and older (aged 25–45) athletes, between elite and non-elite athletes, and between athletes competing in lean and non-lean sports. Data were collected using a web-based questionnaire. Participants were 846 female athletes representing 67 different sports. Results showed that 25%, 18%, and 32% of the athletes reported restrictive eating, eating disorders, and menstrual dysfunction, respectively. Higher rates of lean sport athletes compared with non-lean sport athletes reported these symptoms, while no differences were found between elite and non-elite athletes. Younger athletes reported higher rates of menstrual dysfunction and lower lifetime prevalence of eating disorders. Both restrictive eating (OR 1.41, 95% CI 1.02–1.94) and eating disorders (OR 1.89, 95% CI 1.31–2.73) were associated with injuries, while menstrual dysfunction was associated with more missed participation days compared with a regular menstrual cycle (OR 1.79, 95% CI 1.05–3.07). Our findings indicate that eating disorder symptoms and menstrual dysfunction are common problems in athletes that should be managed properly as they are linked to injuries and missed training/competition days.  相似文献

OBJECTIVE: Injury proneness is common in adolescents, but the role of individual factors has received little attention. This study assessed the relationships of a number of individual characteristics with frequency of school injuries. METHODS: This prospective study was conducted on 2396 students from middle schools and high schools in an urban area in France over one school year. A questionnaire was completed by each student at the beginning of the school year, and an injury questionnaire was completed for all injuries that occurred at school during the year. Data were analysed using the chi2 independence test and logistic models. RESULTS: Over the study year, 10.6% of the students had a single injury. Frequent injuries (two or more) were common (2.3%) and were strongly related to younger age [adjusted odds ratio (aOR) 1.52, 95% confidence interval (95%CI) 1.28-1.79], frequent use of psychotropic drugs (aOR 2.03, 95%CI 1.06-3.86) and a poorer average school mark (<10/20, aOR 2.58, 95%CI 1.30-5.12). The occurrence of a single injury was less strongly related to younger age (aOR 1.20, 95%CI 1.11-1.30) and frequent use of psychotropic drugs (aOR 1.43, 95%CI 1.04-1.96), and was also associated with parental absence (aOR 1.33, 95%CI 1.00-1.77), not being calm (aOR 1.41, 95%CI 1.03-1.89) and not being easily irritated (aOR 1.56, 95%CI 1.14-2.13). CONCLUSIONS: This study identified a number of factors associated with injury frequency. This information could be useful for injury prevention. Physicians could help students, parents, teachers and school staff to be more aware of the risks and to find remedial measures.  相似文献

OBJECTIVE: To determine the epidemiology of colonization with vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus (VRE) among intensive care unit (ICU) patients. DESIGN: Ten-month prospective cohort study. SETTING: A 19-bed medical ICU of a 1,440-bed teaching hospital. METHODS: Patients admitted to the ICU had rectal swab cultures for VRE on admission and weekly thereafter. VRE-positive patients were cared for using contact precautions. Clinical data, including microbiology reports, were collected prospectively during the ICU stay. RESULTS: Of 519 patients who had admission stool cultures, 127 (25%) had cultures that were positive for VRE. Risk factors for VRE colonization identified by multiple logistic regression analysis were hospital stay greater than 3 days prior to ICU admission (adjusted odds ratio [AOR], 3.6; 95% confidence interval [CI95], 2.3 to 5.7), chronic dialysis (AOR, 2.4; CI95, 1.2 to 4.5), and having been admitted to the study hospital one to two times (AOR, 2.3; CI95, 1.4 to 3.8) or more than two times (AOR, 6.5; CI95, 3.7 to 11.6) within the past 12 months. Of the 352 VRE-negative patients who had one or more follow-up cultures, 74 (21%) became VRE positive during their ICU stay (27 cases per 1,000 patient-ICU days). CONCLUSION: The prevalence of VRE culture positivity on ICU admission was high and a sizable fraction of ICU patients became VRE positive during their ICU stay despite contact precautions for VRE-positive patients. This was likely due in large part to prior VRE exposures in the rest of the hospital where these control measures were not being used.  相似文献

To evaluate the effect of after-school employment on Grade Point Average, absenteeism, school tardiness, extracurricular activities, and class-cutting, a cross-sectional anonymous questionnaire was completed by 7,506 high school students in May 2002. Working students did not report lower grades, higher absenteeism, or more school tardiness than their nonworking peers. However, students who worked were significantly more likely to cut classes and not take part in extracurricular activities than were students who were not employed. Factors associated with lower Grade Point Average among working students included working before 8:00 AM (adjusted odds ratio [AOR] = 1.73, 95% CI = 1.18-2.52), being injured at work (AOR = 1.47, 95% CI = 1.10-1.96), and feeling that the job was more important than school (AOR = 2.74, 95% CI = 2.08-3.60).  相似文献

The authors compared US motor vehicle and motorcycle mortality rates during periods when each of several alcohol-related laws were in effect with mortality rates during other periods. During the period 1980-1997, there were 792,184 deaths due to motor vehicle crashes and 63,052 deaths due to motorcycle crashes. An estimated 26% and 49% of these fatalities, respectively, were attributable to alcohol use. The incidence of alcohol-related mortality in motor vehicle crashes was lower when laws specifying a blood alcohol concentration of 0.08 g/dl per se (laws stating that it is a criminal offense to drive with a blood alcohol concentration above the state's legal limit) were in effect (adjusted rate ratio (RR) = 0.86, 95% confidence interval (CI): 0.83, 0.88). For motorcycle deaths, the adjusted rate ratio was 0.87 (95% CI: 0.79, 0.95). The incidence of alcohol-related mortality in motor vehicle crashes was also lower during periods when two other types of laws were in effect: zero tolerance laws (adjusted RR = 0.88, 95% CI: 0.86, 0.90) and administrative license revocation laws (adjusted RR = 0.95, 95% CI: 0.93, 0.98). Overall motorcycle mortality was lower when administrative license revocation laws were in effect (adjusted RR = 0.95, 95% CI: 0.92, 0.98).  相似文献
