Background Beech and oak pollen are potential allergen sources with a world‐wide distribution. Objective We aimed to characterize the allergen profile of beech and oak pollen and to study cross‐reactivities with birch and grass pollen allergens. Methods Sera from tree pollen‐allergic patients with evidence for beech and oak pollen sensitization from Basel, Switzerland, (n=23) and sera from birch pollen‐allergic patients from Vienna, Austria, (n=26) were compared in immunoblot experiments for IgE reactivity to birch (Betula pendula syn. verrucosa), beech (Fagus sylvatica) and oak (Quercus alba) pollen allergens. Subsequently, beech and oak pollen allergens were characterized by IgE inhibition experiments with purified recombinant and natural allergens and with allergen‐specific antibody probes. Birch‐, beech‐ and oak pollen‐specific IgE levels were determined by ELISA. Results Beech and oak pollen contain allergens that cross‐react with the birch pollen allergens Bet v 1, Bet v 2 and Bet v 4 and with the berberine bridge enzyme‐like allergen Phl p 4 from timothy grass pollen. Sera from Swiss and Austrian patients exhibited similar IgE reactivity profiles to birch, beech and oak pollen extracts. IgE levels to beech and oak pollen allergens were lower than those to birch pollen allergens. Conclusion IgE reactivity to beech pollen is mainly due to cross‐reactivity with birch pollen allergens, and a Phl p 4‐like molecule represented another predominant IgE‐reactive structure in oak pollen. The characterization of beech and oak pollen allergens and their cross‐reactivity is important for the diagnosis and treatment of beech and oak pollen allergy.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: In a previous investigation, a high prevalence of allergy to sweet bell pepper pollen was found among exposed horticulture workers. Allergy to plant-derived food is often the consequence of primary sensitization to common pollen allergens. OBJECTIVE: We therefore investigated the cross-reactivity between sweet bell pepper pollen and pollen from grass, birch or mugwort. METHOD: We selected 10 sera from greenhouse workers who had, besides specific IgE against sweet bell pepper pollen, also IgE to grass, birch or mugwort pollen. Cross-reactivity was tested by the inhibition of IgE binding to solid-phase coupled sweet bell pepper pollen extract. The 10 sera were also analysed for IgE binding to sweet bell pepper pollen by immunoblotting. RESULTS: With these sera, no or small inhibition of IgE binding to sweet bell pepper pollen extract was observed with grass, birch and mugwort pollen. With immunoblotting, major IgE-binding structures were seen at 14, 29 and 69 kDa in sweet bell pepper pollen extract. CONCLUSION: The results of our study demonstrate that sweet bell pepper pollen contains allergens that have no or limited cross-reactivity with common pollen allergens. With sera from the 10 patients tested, sensitization to sweet bell pepper pollen was not the consequence of primary sensitization to common pollen allergens.  相似文献

Background: The predictive value of reported early symptoms to pollen or fruits on later allergic disease is unclear. Our aim is to evaluate if symptoms to pollen and/or to fruits early in life are associated with allergic disease and sensitization to pollen at 4 years. Methods: The study included 3619 children from the Barn (Children), Allergy, Milieu, Stockholm, Epidemiology project (BAMSE) birth cohort. Reported symptoms of wheeze, sneeze or rash to birch, grass or weed, symptoms (vomiting, diarrhea, rash, facial edema, sneeze, or wheeze) to fruits including tree‐nuts at 1 or 2 years of age, and definitions of asthma, rhinitis and eczema at 4 years were derived from questionnaire data. Sensitization to pollen allergens was defined as allergen‐specific IgE‐antibodies to any pollen (birch/timothy/mugwort) ≥0.35 kUA/l. Results: At 1 or 2 years of age, 6% of the children were reported to have pollen‐related symptoms, 6% had symptoms to fruits, and 1.4% to both pollen and fruits. Children with symptoms to both pollen and fruits at 1 or 2 years of age had an increased risk for sensitization to any pollen allergen at age 4 (ORadj = 4.4, 95% CI = 2.1–9.2). This group of children also had a substantially elevated risk for developing any allergic disease (asthma, rhinitis, or eczema) at 4 years irrespective of sensitization to pollen (ORadj = 8.6, 95% CI = 4.5–16.4). Conclusions: The prevalence of reported symptoms to pollen and fruits is very low in early childhood. However, children with early symptoms to both pollen and fruits appear to have a markedly elevated risk for allergic disease.  相似文献

We investigated the influence of grass and birch pollen load on specific IgE response, skin prick test reactivity, and manifest allergic disorders of the eyes and respiratory tract. The study population was two groups of 200 children each, matched in sex and age, who were domiciled in areas with high and low pollen load, respectively. In the children from the area with high pollen load, the grass pollen load was 1.7 times higher than in the other and only specific IgE to grass pollen was found to be present more frequently (23.5% as against 12.5%; P less than 0.01). In the same area, the birch pollen load was 2.8 times higher, which caused specific IgE in 10.5% as against 3.5% of the other group (P less than 0.01) as well as positive skin prick test in 9.0% as against 3.5% (P less than 0.05). Reports of subjective complaints were rare among the group with high pollen load but the total number did not amount to a statistically significant increase. There was no difference between the two groups concerning sensitization and allergy to house dust mite. This suggests that the influence of the pollen load is strongest on the development of specific IgE, and less on skin test reactivity and manifest allergies.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: Food allergy to cow's milk or hen's egg is a common problem in children with atopic eczema/dermatitis syndrome (AEDS) but the role of birch pollen-related food for the induction of allergic symptoms is still not clear. PATIENTS/METHODS: Twelve children (median age 5 years) with AEDS underwent an oral challenge with those birch pollen-related foods which were reported to induce no immediate symptoms, but were consumed on a regular basis. Total IgE and specific IgE to birch pollen, Bet v 1/2 and various birch pollen-related foods were determined. RESULTS: Seven of 12 children showed immediate and/or late eczematous reactions upon ingestion of birch pollen-related foodstuff. Four children showed a worsening of eczema 24 h upon oral challenge with a significant difference in SCORAD before and after challenge. There were no differences in terms of total IgE or birch pollen-specific IgE between children with a late eczematous response and non-reacting children. CONCLUSIONS: Birch pollen-related food may induce allergic symptoms in children with AEDS who exhibit a sensitization to birch pollen. Oral challenge tests should be performed in those children who suffer from severe AEDS and who are highly sensitized to birch pollen allergens even in the absence of a history suggestive of food allergy.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: Although the relationship between sensitization to different inhalant allergens in adolescents and adults has been intensively studied, information concerning sensitization in children is scarce in particular to pollens. OBJECTIVES: In 4-year-old children to elucidate the pollen immunoglobulin (IgE) antibody profile (birch only, timothy only and combinations of three pollens (birch, timothy or mugwort) and to relate the results to other inhalant and food allergens, as well as the presence of allergic diseases. METHODS: A total of 2551 4-year-old children belonging to a prospective birth cohort, which has been followed longitudinally (BAMSE), were investigated with respect to IgE antibodies to pollen and other inhalant and food allergens, and expression of allergic disease, based on questionnaire data. RESULTS: Eleven percent (n=285) of the children were sensitized to pollen. Birch was the dominating cause of pollen sensitization (birch sensitization only, n=133); followed by timothy grass pollen (n=56) and a combination of two (n=64) or three (n=30) pollens. A remarkably high proportion of the children sensitized only to birch was also sensitized to other inhalant allergens. This was not seen for children sensitized only to timothy. The highest frequencies of IgE reactivity to food were found in the group of children sensitized to the combination of birch, timothy and mugwort pollen. Children sensitized to timothy only, exhibited symptoms of allergic disease significantly less frequently compared with children sensitized to birch only. Sensitization to birch pollen was found to be closely associated with rhinitis and eczema compared with asthma. The highest frequency of asthma and/or rhinitis and/or eczema was reported in children sensitized to at least two pollens. CONCLUSION: Our results demonstrate that birch is the dominating source of pollen sensitization at the age of four in Sweden. This might associate with the pattern of sensitization to other inhalant and food allergens as well as influence on the expression of allergic disease in this particular age group.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: Most studies on pollen-related food allergy have so far focused on the association of birch/weed pollen allergens and plant food allergy. The aim of this study was to elucidate the allergen spectrum among a group of grass pollen-allergic patients from northern Europe and to relate the results to clinical histories of pollen-related food allergy. METHODS: Fifty-eight grass pollen-allergic patients answered a questionnaire regarding allergy to foods. Blood samples were taken to test IgE-reactivity to a large panel of pollen allergens and pollen- and nonpollen-related food allergens using crude allergen extracts and recombinant and native allergens. RESULTS: Three different groups of grass pollen-allergic patients were identified according to their IgE antibody profile: a grass pollen group only (19%), a grass and tree pollen group (29%) and a grass, tree and compositae (pan-) pollen group (48%). No sensitization to Bet v 1 as well as almost no IgE to plant food was observed in the grass pollen group. In contrast, nearly all patients in the two tree-related groups had IgE to Bet v 1, which reflected the high frequency of adverse reactions to typical birch-related food in these groups. Only four patients belonging to the pan-pollen group displayed IgE to profilin Phl p 12/Bet v 2. Patients in the pan-pollen group reported significantly more symptoms to food allergens compared with patients in the two other groups. The most frequently reported symptom was the oral allergy syndrome. CONCLUSIONS: Sensitization to grass pollen alone is rare among grass pollen-allergic patients from northern Europe. The majority of patients are in addition sensitized to birch (Bet v 1), which seems to be closely related to their pollen-derived food allergy. The study highlights the advantage of using well-defined allergen molecules for the diagnosis of cross-reactivity between pollen and food allergens.  相似文献

The effect of exclusive breast-feeding throughout the first birch pollen season of life was examined in 59 children compared to 67 children on cow milk formula and to 27 children weaned to cow milk-based formula duting theit first birch season. The infants were about 3 months of age in their first birch season, and allergy to birch pollen was evaluated at 5 years of age by history and prick and provocation tests. Breast-feeding throughout the first birch season did not prevent birch pollen alletgy; a similar birch alletgy prevalence of about 10% was found in children initially fed on human or cow milk. Instead. weaning to cow milk-based formula during the first birch season seemed to protect from subseauent development of birch pollen allergy. Analogous results were obtained regarding allergy to grass pollen. This unexpected finding may be related to the immunological stress on the young infant provided by introduction of cow milk proteins at an early age.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: Most previous epidemiological studies on the relationship between allergy and bronchial hyperresponsiveness (BHR) have made no distinction between sensitization to indoor and outdoor allergens. We studied the relationship between specific sensitization to allergen and BHR and further assessed whether this was different in young adults and older subjects. METHODS: Specific IgE to indoor allergens (house dust mite and cat) and outdoor allergens (timothy grass and birch) were measured using the CAP System. BHR was defined as PD20 /= 3). Young adults with multiple sensitization had the highest risk of BHR. Subjects who were exclusively sensitized to pollen did not show increased BHR in both age groups. Total IgE had, independently of sensitization, only a significant dose-response relationship with BHR in the oldest age group. CONCLUSIONS: The association between sensitization and BHR is dependent on the nature of the allergen and the level of specific IgE. Furthermore, this study shows for the first time that total IgE is associated with BHR at older ages, independently of sensitization.  相似文献

The formation of IgE antibodies against environmental allergens represents the hallmark of type I allergy. Data from in vitro cultured cells and experimental animal models provide controversial evidence for isotype switching from IgM to IgE production via sequential as well as non-sequential (i.e. direct) class switch. We analyzed the evolution of IgE responses in 11 children developing birch pollen and/or grass pollen allergy during the first 7 years of life using purified recombinant allergen molecules (major birch pollen allergen, Bet v 1; major timothy grass pollen allergens, Phl p 1, Phl p 2, Phl p 5). Demographic, clinical and serological data indicated a postnatal sensitization to pollen allergens. A parallel development of IgG(1-4) and IgE responses to recombinant allergen molecules compatible with a strictly sequential class switch to IgE was observed only in one child. The only partly synchronized and dissociated development of allergen-specific antibody responses found in all other cases can be best explained by a partly sequential class switch involving few switch stations or, more likely, by direct class switching. Kinetics and courses of allergen-specific antibody responses (IgM, IgG(1-4), IgE) during the first years of life suggest that, once established, allergen-specific IgE responses are driven by antigen contact rather than by cytokines controlling class switch to IgE.  相似文献

Sera of atopic individuals with predominant sensitization to either tree pollen (TAs) or tree and grass pollens (TGAs) as well as of nonatopic subjects (NAs) were analyzed for IgE, IgG, and IgG4 antibodies specific for grass pollen allergens. Of 600 atopic individuals with serum IgE antibodies specific for birch pollen allergens, 54% also had serum IgE antibodies specific for grass pollen. The mean titers of IgG antibodies specific for grass pollen proteins were about 10 times higher in the sera of TGAs than those in the TAs and NAs. SDS-PAGE immunoblotting analysis of grass pollen proteins using sera of TGAs, TAs, and NAs with respect to the binding of these proteins with IgE and IgG antibodies in these sera exhibited a similar pattern of variation. Quantitation by enzyme immunoassay of the antibody binding to a recombinant grass pollen allergen, rKBG8.3, further demonstrated that elevated IgG antibody levels in TGAs are mainly due to a broader range of specificities, and not to high specific binding to the individual protein. Statistically significant correlation was found between IgE and IgG4 antibodies specific for the Kentucky bluegrass (KBG) extract, but not for the isolated recombinant allergen. These results indicate that the grass pollens elicit a complex array of antibody specificities in both atopics and nonatopics, and that the profile of antibodies specific to the pollen extract and pure allergens differs, suggesting that single grass allergens may be inadequate for replacing grass pollen extracts for immunotherapy.  相似文献

Sera of patients suffering from birch pollinosis were studied in the radio-allergo-sorbent test (RAST) for the presence of IgE antibodies to various allergens of vegetable origin. The sera selected were positive in the RAST for both birch pollen and fruits. IgE antibodies directed against at least three different cross-reacting determinants in birch pollen were detected. In addition to periodate-susceptible cross-reacting determinants, which are found on a number of glycoproteins, two non-related periodate-resistant determinants were found in birch pollen, with molecular weights of 20 and 18 kD, respectively. The 20-kD component appears to be responsible for the co-occurrence of the binding of IgE to allergens of fresh fruits, whereas the 18-kD component appears to cause the cross-reactivity among grass pollen, potato and fruits.  相似文献

Background:  Specific IgE antibodies are often detected without any clinical manifestation of allergies. We aimed to analyse the predictivity of allergic sensitization for incident symptoms of allergic diseases in adults during a 10-year follow-up .
Methods:  In 1994/95 specific IgE antibodies against five common inhalant allergens (grass pollen, birch pollen, house dust mite, cat dander and Cladosporium ) were diagnosed by radioallergosorbent test in 4178 adults aged 25–74 years. A subset of 2656 participants could be re-evaluated in 2004/05. Information on socio-economic factors and medical history, including data on atopic diseases, was assessed by a combination of a personal interview and a self-administered questionnaire. Logistic regression models were applied to study associations between allergic sensitization and incident allergic diseases.
Results:  Allergic sensitization was an important predictor for incident hay fever (OR 7.95, CI 95% 4.64–13.62) and asthma (OR 1.82, CI 95% 1.29–2.57). Specific IgE antibodies were mainly related to outdoor allergens (grass and birch pollen) for hay fever and indoor allergens (mite and cat dander) for asthma, while for atopic dermatitis no specific IgE antibodies were identified as major predictors.
Conclusions:  Allergic sensitization not only covers clinically apparent allergies, but indicates a prognostic factor for later allergies, even in adulthood.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: Previous studies have described cross-reactivity between fresh fruits, vegetables and pollen. However, no data demonstrates the clinical relevance of sensitization to pollen-related fruits and vegetables in unselected pollen-sensitized adults with and without symptoms in the pollen season. OBJECTIVE: The aim of this study was to estimate the clinical relevance of sensitization to pollen-related fruits and vegetables in unselected pollen-sensitized adults and to examine the diagnostic value of skin-prick test (SPT), histamine release and specific IgE compared with the outcome of oral challenge. METHODS: In total, 936 unselected adults (female : male 479 : 457, median age 33.7 years) were examined for pollen sensitization and clinical cross-reactivity with pollen-related fruits and vegetables by questionnaire, SPT, histamine release, specific IgE and oral challenge. RESULTS: The prevalence of pollen sensitization was 23.8% (n = 223). The probability of a clinical reaction to pollen-related foods in the respective pollen-sensitized groups was: 24% (birch), 4% (grass), 10% (mugwort), 35% (birch + grass), 8% (grass + mugwort) and 52% (birch + grass + mugwort). The odds ratio of a clinical reaction to pollen-related fruits and vegetables in symptomatic pollen-sensitized adults was as high as four times (birch + grass) the odds ratio of a clinical reaction in asymptomatic pollen-sensitized adults. CONCLUSION: This study not only demonstrates a high prevalence of clinical reactions to fruits and vegetables in pollen-sensitized adults, but also a discrepancy between the prevalence of sensitization to fruits and vegetables and the clinical relevance in different pollen-sensitized groups with symptoms in the pollen season as a significant factor.  相似文献

Total IgE, RAST results with tree pollen allergens, and prick test results with birch, grass and mugwort, pollen allergens were correlated to 872 hay fever patients' reported food hypersensitivity (FH). A positive correlation was found between FH and the RAST and prick test results with birch pollen allergen. At each level of birch pollen sensitivity the incidence of FH was lower in patients with high total IgE than in those with lower total IgE. A negative correlation was found between grass pollen allergy and FH in birch pollen allergics. It is suggested that antigens in some foods have a specific ability to bridge anti-birch IgE molecules on mast cells. An explanation of the negative correlation between FH and total IgE and grass pollen allergy could be that a high number of non-birch-specific IgE molecules on the mast cells will reduce the probability that two anti-birch IgE molecules should bind on nearby sites.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: Ash, a wind-pollinated tree belonging to the family Oleaceae, is distributed world-wide and has been suggested as a potent allergen source in spring time. OBJECTIVE: The aim of this study was to determine the profile of allergen components in ash pollen in order to refine diagnosis and therapy for patients with sensitivity to ash pollen METHODS: The IgE reactivity profile of 40 ash pollen-allergic patients was determined by immunoblotting. Antibodies raised to purified pollen allergens from tree and grass pollens were used to identify cross-reactive structures in ash pollen extract. IgE immunoblot inhibition studies were performed with recombinant and natural pollen allergens to characterize ash pollen allergens and to determine the degree of cross-reactivity between pollen allergens from ash, olive, birch, grasses and weeds. RESULTS: The allergen profile of ash pollen comprises Fra e 1, a major allergen related to the major olive allergen, Ole e 1, and to group 11 grass pollen allergens, the panallergen profilin, a two EF-hand calcium-binding protein, a pectinesterase-like molecule and an allergen sharing epitopes with group 4 grass pollen allergens. Thus, the relevant allergens of ash are primarily allergens that share epitopes with pollen allergens from other tree, grass and weed species. CONCLUSIONS: Allergic symptoms to ash pollen can be the consequence of sensitization to cross-reactive allergens from other sources. The fact that ash pollen-allergic patients can be discriminated on the basis of their specific IgE reactivity profile to highly or moderately cross-reactive allergens has implications for the selection of appropriate forms of treatment.  相似文献

Background There is limited knowledge of the development of IgE-antibody levels over time in childhood, with respect to persistency and co-sensitization to specific inhalant allergens.
Methods Data from 2033 children participating in the BAMSE birth cohort was used. Background factors and clinical parameters were obtained and IgE antibody (ab) levels to eight common airborne allergens were measured (0.35 kUA/L) when the children were 4 and 8 years of age.
Results Between 4 and 8 years the proportion of children sensitized to any of the inhalant allergens tested increased from 15% to 25%. At 4 years IgE-ab to birch and cat dominated, whereas at the age of 8, there was a considerable increase in the proportion of sensitization to timothy and dog. Except for mites and moulds, IgE-ab levels to all aeroallergens increased significantly between 4 and 8 years among those already sensitized at 4. Transient sensitization to inhalant allergen was uncommon. Furthermore, sensitization to birch pollen at 4 years increased the risk for becoming sensitized to timothy, cat and dog later in life. Such an association was not observed among those sensitized primarily to animal dander.
Conclusions There is a prominent process of sensitization at pre-school age to inhalant allergens, and in Northern Europe sensitization to birch pollen early in life seems to be important for this process. Such a process has a probable impact on the development of allergic disease in the growing child.  相似文献

Fourteen children with timothy grass pollinosis were given immunotherapy (IT) for 3 years with a purified and characterized timothy grass pollen preparation or a crude aqueous timothy pollen extract. Crossed radioimmunoelectrophoresis (CRIE) showed that 75% of the children under 11 years of age developed new specificities of IgE antibodies against timothy antigens, in contrast to older children, where no development of IgE antibodies against new timothy antigens could be detected. IgE antibodies were only detected against antigens formerly known as allergens. Timothy-specific IgG antibodies increased in most children during hyposensitization against the major allergens Ag 19 and Ag 24/25 and several other IgE-binding timothy antigens.  相似文献

Background The prevalence of adverse reactions to food in childhood in Turkey is not known. Objective We aimed to investigate the prevalence and characteristics of IgE‐mediated food allergies (FAs) in 6–9‐year‐old urban schoolchildren. Methods This cross‐sectional study recruited 3500 of the randomly selected 6–9‐year‐old urban schoolchildren from the eastern Black Sea region of Turkey during 2006. Following a self‐administered questionnaire completed by the parents and the child, consenting children were invited for skin prick tests (SPTs) and oral food challenges. Children with suspected IgE‐mediated FA were skin prick tested with a predefined panel of food allergens (milk, hen's egg, soy, wheat, peanut, fish, and hazelnut), aeroallergens (Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus, Dermatophagoides farinae, cat, dog, Alternaria, grass pollen mix, weed pollen mix, and tree pollen mix), and food allergens reported in the questionnaire. All children with a positive SPT to any food were invited for a double‐blind, placebo‐controlled food challenge (DBPCFC). The prevalence of IgE‐mediated FA was established using DBPCFCs. Results The response rate to the questionnaire was 78.2% (2739/3500). The estimated prevalence of parental‐reported IgE‐mediated FA was 5.7% (156/2739) [95% confidence interval (CI), 4.83–6.57%]. The rate of sensitization to the food allergens was 33.1% (48/145) in the parental‐reported group. The confirmed prevalence of IgE‐mediated FA by means of DBPCFC in 6–9‐year‐old urban schoolchildren living in the eastern Black Sea region of Turkey was 0.80% (22/2739) (95% CI, 0.47–1.13%). The most common allergenic foods were beef (31.8%), cow's milk (18.1%), cocoa (18.1%), hen's egg (13.6%), and kiwi (13.6%). Conclusions The rate of reported IgE‐mediated FA was significantly higher than clinically confirmed FA by means of DBPCFC (odds ratio, 7.46; 95% CI, 4.67–12.01; P<0.0001). The order of allergenic foods was different and somewhat unique to the eastern Black Sea region of Turkey when compared with western countries.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: Although there have been many studies of the prevalence of latex allergy in populations deemed to be at risk, little is known of the potential allergic susceptibility to latex products prevailing in the general population. OBJECTIVE: To assess the possible prevalence of allergy to latex goods in a population of blood donors by measurement of specific antilatex immunoglobulin (Ig) E in blood, to relate this to prevalence of antigrass IgE in the blood donations, and to assess the prevalence of antibodies to grass, house dust mite and cat allergens in those donors having antilatex IgE antibodies. METHODS: Sera from two groups of donations obtained in the English West Midlands were assayed. A group of 2000 donations obtained in midwinter was assayed for antilatex and antigrass pollen IgE. A group of 5000 midsummer donations was assayed for total IgE, and antilatex IgE and the sera giving a positive reaction, assayed for antigrass pollen, antihouse dust mite and anticat IgE. The nature of the principal latex and grass pollen polypeptides reacting with IgE in the sera was assessed by immunoblotting. RESULTS: Anti-latex IgE was detected in approximately 4% of the winter and 7% of the summer donations. The prevalence of antigrass IgE in the winter donations was approximately 20% and amongst the latex-positive sera approximately 84% contained antigrass IgE. Of the summer donations of latex-positive sera, 96% contained antigrass, 48.6% antimite IgE and 34% anticat IgE. The prevalence of both antilatex and antigrass IgE was age and sex related. Inhibition studies indicated cross-reactivity of IgE with latex and grass pollen proteins. CONCLUSIONS: Whilst 4-7% of the population may have serum IgE reacting with latex, the levels are low compared with those reacting with the aeroallergens studied. The apparent cross-reactivity of some serum IgE with both latex and grass pollen taken with other evidence suggests that, in some individuals, allergy to latex may arise from an initial sensitization by grass pollen.  相似文献
