《护士条例》不仅规范护士护理行为使之合法化、职业化,同时也对护士管理工作提出了更高的要求。文章通过对《护士条例》的解读,结合实践中护士管理的经验,从护士管理工作、保障护士合法权益、督促护士依法履行护理职责方面总结了该院护士管理有效的方式方法,以期为进一步提高护理管理的水平和护理质量提供有益的指导。  相似文献

When new staff nurses leave school and enter the working world they experience a shock that is all the greater because of their limited clinical experience. Difficulty in adjustment and a high attrition rate have been noted among new staff nurses as they navigate this challenging and stressful transition. New staff nurses experience excessive workloads, a shortage of practical and managerial skills, great differences between their educational priorities and the reality of clinical practice, and the feeling of a lack of support. Setting up a preceptorship system to support and guide the professional development, psychological adjustment and career planning of individual nurses would help to foster positive socialization, reduce levels of anxiety and increase job satisfaction among nurses. In turn, if this is accomplished, it will lower work-related stress, reduce attrition rates and stabilize levels of nursing manpower.  相似文献

This paper is focused on selected items from an exploratory study of nurse tutor-student nurse role-relationships. Aspects of the teacher-student and counsellor-client dimensions of the relationship are reported. The research was conducted from a sociological perspective using role theory as the organizing theoretical framework. An 'ideal type' tutor-student relationship was proposed from the findings. There was concensus between tutors and students that tutors acted in a caring way towards students but many constraints were identified which inhibited students with problems from seeking help from tutors and prevented tutors from offering all the help which they wished to give to students.  相似文献

Student nurse perception of the staff nurse role   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
A survey was undertaken to identify the developing perception of the staff nurse role by student nurses in two health districts of one regional health authority using a questionnaire specially developed for the survey. A sample of 190 was selected from student nurses, staff nurses and sisters, working within those areas used for general nurse teaching at the two districts. The results indicate that first-year student nurses hold perceptions of the importance of the functions of the staff nurse role which are significantly different from the staff nurse whilst second-year students respond in the same way as staff nurses. Third-year student nurses hold a perception of the staff nurse role which does not differ significantly from that held by staff nurses except for the clinical function. Questions relating to performing within these functions were less easily interpreted. The results do not demonstrate a sequential developing perception of the staff nurse role, rather a change over the first year with some areas of performance remaining different throughout the years of training. Possible reasons for these differences are advanced. Difficulties in generalizing the results due to the limitations of the data obtained, questionnaire design and the locations for the study, are identified.  相似文献

The National Center for Health Workforce Analysis (NCHWA) projects that, if current trends continue, by 2020 the national shortage of registered nurses (RNs) will be more than 800,000. Only 70% of the nation's nursing needs will be met. California forecasts indicate that only 63% of the demand will be met in 2020.1 The California Employment Development Department predicts that by 2010 the state will need nearly 110,000 new RNs to meet the demand of the growing and aging population and to replace retiring nurses. Currently, the state has the capacity to educate only 50% of the need.2  相似文献
