| Abstract: | We evaluated the use of microsticks as solid-phase carriers in an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for rubella antibody. The microstick enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was found to be equal in sensitivity to plate and disk enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays and presumably more sensitive than hemagglutination and immunofluorescence assays. The microstick as a solid-phase carrier offers advantages over both plate and bead carriers. |
