Abstract: | The mortality experience of 440 laundry and dry cleaning workers for the period 1975-81 was analyzed, using Oklahoma death certificate data. Results did not show an overall increase in total cancer, but an elevated risk was found for homicide, lung cancer, and kidney cancer. A decrease in risk was noted for ischemic heart disease and for breast cancer. |
