| Abstract: | Objective To investigate the patient-related factors of medical adhesiverelated skin injury (MARSI) in ICU. Methods The domestic and foreign literature database servicesystems were searched by the computer for literatures on the patient-related factors of MARSI inICU, such as foreign PubMed, Web of Science, and ProQuest, and domestic CnKI, China BiomedicalLiterature Service System, Wanfang Data Paper Retrieval System, Baidu Academic, and VIP, from theestablishment of the database to September 2020. Appropriate literatures were selected, the data ofthe literatures were extracted, and the quality evaluation was carried out. Meta-analysis wasconducted by RevMan 5.3 and SPSS 22.0 software. The effect statistics of dichotomous variableswere in the form of odds ratio (OR), weighted mean difference was selected for continuity variables,and 95% confidence interval (95%CI) was used for interval estimation. Results A total of7 literatures with 2 967 patients were included, including 1 English article and 6 Chineseliteratures, 6 experimental studies and 1 cross-sectional study. Meta-analysis results showed thatage, body mass index (BMI), state of consciousness, fever, dry skin, skin moisture, skin edema,history of allergy, serum albumin level, low Barden /Waterlow score, and the score of AcutePhysiology and Chronic Health Evaluation Scoring System (APACHE Ⅱ) higher than 10 points were all patient-related factors of MARSI in ICU (all P<0.01). Conclusion The incidence of MARSI in ICUis high, which is caused by a variety of factors. As internal factors of MARSI, patient-related factorsneed to be attached great importance to by medical staff. |
