| Abstract: | Pyroptosis is a type of programmed cell death accompanied by inflammatory response,mainly triggered by activating inflammatory cysteine protease Caspase-1/4/5/11 to cleave GSDMD or apoptotic cysteine protease Caspase-3 to cleave GSDME.Pyroptosis is involved in the occurrence and development of various diseases.In recent years,the significance of pyroptosis in cancer has received extensive attention,accumulated many new achievements,and formed some new insights.Here we would like to have a brief review in order to provide a reference for expanding the research between cell death and cancer treatment. |
