| Abstract: | Objective:To investigate the expression of serum miR-30a and miR-106b in patients with colon cancer and its value in tumor progression and prediction of patient prognosis.Methods:80 patients with colon cancer from June 2012 to February 2013 were selected,while 20 patients with normal physical examination were selected as control group.The serum miR-30a and miR-106b expression levels were detected by real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction（RT-PCR） technique.The relationship between serum miR-30a,miR-106b expression and clinicopathological and prognostic of colon cancer were analyzed.The correlation of miR-30a,miR-106b expression was analyzed by Pearson.The survival influencing factors in colon cancer patients was analyzed by logistic proportional regression risk model type.Kaplan-Meier survival analysis was used to analyze the median survival time of miR-30a low expression group,miR-30a high expression group,miR-106b low expression group and miR-106b high expression group.Results:The serum expression of miR-30a(1.03±0.02) in colon cancer patients was lower than that in normal population(5.15±0.06)(t=16.38,P=0.01),and the serum expression of miR-106b(2.62±0.35) in colon cancer patients were higher than in the normal population(1.15±0.06)(t=10.17,P=0.03).miR-30a,miR-106b expression were significantly correlated with tissue differentiation type,serous invasion,lymph node metastasis,distant metastasis,TNM stage(P＜0.05).TNM stage (Ⅲ+Ⅳ),miR-106b high expression levels and miR-30a low expression levels were risk factors for prognosis.Total survival time(55.3±4.1) months in miR-30a low expression group was lower than that in miR-30a high expression group(76.4±2.4) months (P=0.000).The overall survival time of patients in the low expression group of miR-106b(75.1±7.3) was higher than that in the high expression group of miR-106b(51.8±3.1) months(P=0.000).Conclusion:miR-30a is low in the serum of colon cancer patients,and miR-106b is high in the serum of colon cancer patients,which is related to tumor progression,poor prognosis. |
