| Abstract: | Laboratory sciences for virus infection, as a compulsory practical course for public health laboratory sciences,focuses on training students’ practical and comprehensive ability to solve problems. Given the current demand of public health, we carry out the experimental teaching reform, aiming to improve students’ ability. This paper explores the reform in teaching methods, means and experimental assessment methods in the virology testing experimental course system, and proposes a research-based, hands-on, case-based experimental teaching mode. Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, we adopt online and offline hybrid teaching and add virtual simulation experiments on the basis of the original experiments, lifting the constraints on time and space to help students improve testing skills. In addition, a novel experimental teaching system suitable for public health laboratory sciences has been established. |
